[music playing]
NARRATOR: Previously on "Big Brother ,"
the Houseguests entered the "Big Brother"
house for the first time--
Gorgeous!
NARRATOR: --unaware of the shocking twist
that awaited them.
Two Houseguests are related by blood,
and, amazingly, they have no idea of this connection.
NARRATOR: The Houseguests chose their bedrooms,
and they had a chance to get to know each other.
I'm Jennifer, but I'd prefer to be called Nakomis.
NARRATOR: Soon, they were faced with their first food
competition--
ALL: Oh!
NARRATOR: --and an enticing offer.
grand for you, or a variety of food for the house.
NARRATOR: Laurie's decision--
I'm going to take the money.
Oh.
NARRATOR: --left the Houseguests on PB&J for the week.
I was pretty pissed off about having peanut
butter and jelly for a week.
NARRATOR: Alliances were formed.
I'm down.
Right here.
NARRATOR: Houseguests were targeted.
Who do you think would be first?
- Nakomis - Nakomis.
Yeah.
NARRATOR: And Michael discovered the impact Project
DNA would have on his life.
I have never met my real father.
What's your dad's name?
It's Arthur Guy Dedmon.
OK.
Boom.
NARRATOR: Learning he had a sister in the house,
Michael chose not to reveal it.
It could hurt me.
NARRATOR: The race for power began.
Whoa!
Whoa!
NARRATOR: In a test of endurance,
Jase won the first Head of Household competition.
Which two Houseguests will Chase nominate for eviction?
Will Michael share his life-changing discovery
with his newly found sister?
And what will happen to the other Houseguests
as Project DNA continues to unfold?
Find out tonight on "Big Brother ."
[theme music]
[music playing]
JULIE: Congratulations, Jase.
You are the first Head of Household.
My initial thought was to blow this Head
of Household competition.
Scott wants to win.
And then here I am, the Head of Household.
Congratulations.
Woo!
Everyone is threatened by the Jase-Scott alliance.
You know, Jase has the Head of Household this week.
What if Scott gets it next week?
Like, we need to make sure that we're safe.
- [laughs] - It's all you.
You got it, bro.
Me and Jase--
I mean, that's pretty much the entire game right now.
It's just me and Jase.
Yo, man, congratulations.
Thanks.
Awesome.
I don't know that's going to hurt me or help me.
You know, I'm mean.
If they don't like it, they don't like it.
You did awesome, though, for real.
- Thank you. - You did.
You deserve it.
I mean, because he--
he's a pro athlete, you know?
I know.
You were like--
But you-- you can win.
I feel good. I'm happy.
Yeah.
I personally was happy that Jase won.
Because I feel like I talk to Jase a little bit more than I
can with Scott.
- I guess the game's on. - Yeah, right?
Right?
Yeah, we're all kissing your a*s for the whole week.
It's great.
I love it.
Fear me.
The strongest players, to me, are Jase and Scott.
And I think that anybody that doesn't see that, you know--
they're not in here to win.
Here it is, everyone.
[interposing voices]
[imitates drumroll]
Holy sh*t.
[cheering]
The new Head of Household room is totally pimp.
It's like a sultan's lair.
[interposing voices]
King of the palace.
Oh, my god.
[inaudible]
This is my little sister and little brother.
Aw.
[inaudible]
This is my dog, everyone.
Aw!
The thing that meant the most--
sorry, little brother and little sister-- but was
my picture of my dog Poppycorn.
Poppycorn!
- Aw! - Aw.
You deserve it.
You could not ask for a better first HoH.
Yeah.
[clapping]
This is my house.
So you know, I just want to kick the party guests out one
at a time, and I'll be the last-- you know,
hopefully the last guy standing.
[music playing]
When putting the pieces together.
I did realize that I did have a sister in the house.
What would you rather have another--
a brother or--
A sister?
Yeah, a sister?
I don't know.
It depends.
I'd probably want an older brother.
I trust Scott and Jase, and I just kind of want their opinion
how I needed to approach this.
What?
What?
She's my sister.
What?
That's just between us, though.
When did find this out?
Outside when we was talking-- you know, last names.
When she said Dedmon--
So that's your dad's first name, is Guy?
It's Arthur Guy Dedmon.
Crazy insane.
Are you serious?
She don't know it.
Dad didn't tell her nothing about me.
So she doesn't know.
She's clueless.
I'm like, what?
Are you kidding me right now?
What's going on right now?
I couldn't really think.
I was shook up.
It's weird.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm just-- I'm just tripping out of my mind right now.
Uh, dude.
This is like a nightmare right now.
[laughs] Yeah, is this real?
I'm like, this guy lost his damn mind, like, day one.
Well, what-- hey, what does it have
to do with anything, though?
I mean--
What do you mean?
I mean, like, what's--
what does it have to do with the game.
Is that why--
For you-- like, personally?
Yeah.
I have a problem with the timing.
Once I get Head of Household, he approaches me and says,
oh, my god, this is my sister.
I didn't believe him.
I instantly grab other people.
I just found that out today.
What?
This is not true.
- [inaudible] - No.
This is not true.
It's true.
It's true.
Come on in, Mike.
Will you shut the door?
Yeah, shut the door.
Because we got--
No, this is-- no this is true!
Your story's not-- your story's not jiving.
What's the thing?
OK.
Because I can find a lie in a minute.
OK. Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
It wasn't the response I was looking for from them.
I wanted, you know, some feedback.
And if you really look, there is a resemblance of us.
There is, a little bit.
If she goes up, though, you've gotta--
- Right! - I mean--
Right. OK.
The world might hate me a little bit, but it's a game.
My fiance and son's who I'm looking out for.
That's who I love.
You know, I just met this person.
- I can't either. - I'm sorry.
I know. That's what's so weird.
Are you all right, man?
Are you all right? - Yeah!
I'm cool!
I'm cool!
I'm sorry.
It's weird, you know? - No, baby.
Hey, hey.
Can we get her in here, though, and just talk about this?
Uh-uh. Not fun.
Do y'all want to do it as a group or--
We'll get her in here and then we'll
join the rest of the group. Because this is crazy.
- Oh, yeah. - All right.
Go get her. Let's get her.
OK. All right.
Hey, Purple Haze!
Hey, Jennifer, will you come back here with us for a second?
Um, rock and roll.
OK.
I've got something to tell you.
All right.
What's the dealio?
And I'm not making this up, OK?
Uh-huh.
We have the same father.
When you said, land mine, Vietnam,
that's all the stories.
Was your dad in the service or anything?
Yeah He was is in the army, served
in Vietnam, lost half of his foot,
and got medical discharge.
The Vietnam, him being in the army, stepping on a land mine--
it all fed up.
Uh-huh.
I did think that he was messing with me.
I thought that him and the guys were just pulling my leg.
All I know is he wrote--
he liked to do poetry.
You know, he loved to write, especially, you
know, back then.
I don't know if he does now.
No, he--
I'm not-- I'm not--
That's a trip.
I'm not messing with you.
I'm telling you the truth.
- You're a Bible man. - Yes.
- Right hand to God, please. - Yes.
You a Bible man? You a Bible man?
Let me get my Bible. Hold on a minute.
Listen, I don't have any reason to doubt you, man.
You haven't given me a reason to doubt you.
And if that's so, then that is a trap.
Tennessee is where [inaudible]
Swear to it right now.
I swear on this Bible.
that my father--
Man, don't lie to me.
--is Arthur Guy Dedmon.
OK.
I mean this.
OK, now, how old are you-- how old are you again?
I'm .
And you're ?
Yeah.
Does he have any outside kids?
Not that I know of.
Do you have pictures of dad?
No, I don't.
All I have is stories what my mother told me.
And--
So they never were married?
- They were never married. - Your mom and him?
OK. - No.
They were never married.
I wonder who I'm related to in this house, man.
Oh, my god.
No wonder they're all married, cause it's like, that
was your sister, dude!
Homeboy and homegirl, they got the same daddy.
And all I gotta say is, thank god they weren't making out
on the first night, because, hey,
if she would have showed up with a cowboy hat on,
it might have been on.
I think we all need to sit in the living room and be like--
- Yeah. - --where are you from exactly?
Who's your daddy? Who's your mommy?
I'm just glad ain't nobody black.
OK, so--
[interposing voices]
I'm telling you, dude.
Yeah. Let's migrate.
Let's go get everybody in the--
This is too crazy.
Pieces are starting to come together after years.
I did doubt Michael.
I mean, his emotions seemed real.
But that's just something that's completely off the wall.
[music playing]
We're having a little powwow.
We'll get everyone in circle.
What?
After Cowboy told us he had just found out that his
half-sister was here in the house,
we thought it would be better to gather around and just
have a group meeting, and just kind
of break the news to the house.
I never met my real father a day in my life.
When we was going over last names and stuff,
she said Dedmon.
That's my father's last name.
So I investigated and asked her for the first name.
She said Guy.
I knew that was his middle name.
And I was like, is that his first name?
And she said, no, that's his middle name.
She didn't know until just a little
bit ago, because I was just feeding her questions.
And everything matched up.
And this maybe my half-brother.
He was born in ', and I was born in '.
I didn't feel for them, because I
didn't really believe it.
Can you believe this [muted]?
[clapping]
So this is a trip.
How could you not be shocked?
To be living with somebody and not know
that it's your family member.
Yeah, I mean, because I can't even imagine
myself in that position.
Jennifer, Michael, please go to the Diary Room.
Michael and Jennifer deliver this
Jerry Springer-ish news that they are,
in fact, brother and sister.
Man, this is messed up.
God!
What's going on?
We got some letters.
When I went to get my letter, I almost had a heart attack.
I was like, OK, either I'm going to have a brother
or this is going to be like, you got tricked by "Big Brother,"
you know?
Ha ha ha ha.
It had my dad's signature on it.
And I was like, oh, my goodness.
It's real.
And that's when it all sunk in.
OK.
Mine says, Hello, Jennifer.
I want to let you know that Pat and I--
Pat's my father's wife-- that Pat
and I are very proud of you.
And as you know, I've always told you,
there are no coincidences.
Everything that comes into our lives
was put there for a reason.
By now, you're finding out one of the treasures of wisdom
that has brought you to "Big Brother--"
Oh, my god!
--step-brother and mew big brother.
Oh, my goodness!
[SOBBING] [inaudible]
All of these years, this fact has been totally unknown to me.
To say that I was surprised is an understatement.
I am more and more excited with this knowledge.
I only hope that you will be as glad to have found Michael
after all these years as I am.
I do not want you to see this discovery as a negative thing.
I only see positive.
You and the other--
What a good letter!
Oh, my god.
Yay!
God!
Oh, my god.
Wow.
Oh, my god.
Wow, this is just--
Hello, Michael.
I do not know where to begin.
I will simply say I did not know of your existence
until recently.
Life has a way of moving in right directions.
As you probably know, Jen is your little sister.
And by the way, I've always a little sister, by the way.
I always wanted a big brother.
And you have stepped into a family that wants to get
to know you, and, if you wish, to create
a relationship with you and your soon-to-be wife and son.
Aw.
Aw, baby!
You now have two sisters and three brothers.
But there is always room in our hearts for more.
Good lord.
After this surprise, I hope you are as excited as Pat
and I are to start a new life and a wonderful journey.
[SOBBING] I'm sorry.
[SOBBING] I'm dying here, Michael.
I know.
Take care of yourself, and good luck on the show.
Dad or Guy-- whatever you choose.
Oh, my god.
[clapping]
Yay!
That is a trip and a half.
Emotion!
Oh, thank you.
I guess, Guy, if you're watching,
I guess we got a lot to talk about.
I've heard Mom's story, and now, I've gotta hear yours.
You probably already know this by now.
Mom raised me good.
[SOBBING] As you can see, Guy, this really means a lot to me.
My mom will like him.
My sisters should like him.
He seems to be a great guy.
I mean, I've only known him for two days .
And it was such an emotional experience for both of them.
I'm really glad to have shared it with them
and to have gotten to know them better.
I think it's amazing.
I believe that like buffaloes fly out my a*s.
Oh, my god.
And he was so fake with it.
I'm like, no. Uh-uh.
Uh-uh.
I always expect something is a lie first
and then prove it right.
I think you're guilty until proven innocent in this house,
to me.
I played football for the university.
He's coming with the Oklahoma shirts,
Oklahoma pillows, Oklahoma-- like,
trying to make it look like--
he's trying too hard.
Thank you.
They're in it together.
I mean, something's going on, you know?
It just doesn't add up.
I'm sorry on my part.
But honestly, anyone that you can trust, it's me.
I promise.
Man, if I found my sister--
I would be messed up.
--I would be freaking the hell out.
Why would you hold that in until after the Head
of Household and be like, Jase, you're Head of Household,
let me lay this on you now, you know?
I was scared.
I did it at the wrong time.
But I guess you learn from your mistakes.
Shouldn't you be talking to your sister, bro?
- Yeah. - Hey.
Hey.
Are you not buying it? - No, dog.
For real. I mean, for real.
I don't buy any bit of it.
None.
It changes some things in the game a little bit.
I think it hurt me with alliances.
[music playing]
I'm now finding out that an outcast is my sister.
It changes some things in the game a little bit.
I could tell that it hurt him that, you know,
we were kind of on him, you know, with the questions
and this and that.
It's like I got the cold shoulder
for the first time by y'all.
I was just like, oh, my god.
She's your what?
I mean it's just so, like, left field.
Yeah.
And that's how you took it.
This guy just found out who his dad is
and that he's got a sister.
And that's what got me.
That's what got me back.
And I hope that, you know, I can see in his eyes.
But I really believe that, you know, he's a good dude.
And I know y'all have talked, you know,
without me, and just-- you know, like when we were in the--
Yeah, dude.
We were ready to-- we were ready to hang your head,
man, you know, for a moment of craziness there.
You know, like, dude--
And maybe that's what we really
needed at the beginning of the game, honestly, to say,
open your eyes. - It's real.
Yeah.
It's real.
Jase summoned us to go out and participate in our first luxury
competition.
Drew, wanna wear, like, women's panties?
Like-- - Just down here?
Like-- yeah, we're--
I'm down.
Do you want a thong?
Let me go dig my panties out.
Jase gathered us up and just decided
that we'd get dressed up like women in panties and thongs.
Those are great.
Who's are those?
Those are so you, Will.
[interposing voices]
Marvin got a pair of mine.
I'll never wear them again.
That is so cute!
You look like a little-- my cheerleader!
Drew had quite a sexy thong for his little round
apple dumpling behind.
Look at that a*s.
Seeing Drew's butt in a thong is probably the hottest thing
that I have seen in weeks.
We look good.
Definitely the girls are less high maintenance,
I think, than the guys in this house.
I'm not even gonna ask.
Because I know your wife will probably sh**t you.
No, it's--
I'm doing it for my son's sake - Oh, OK.
Yeah. Yeah
I can't imagine going into seventh grade
and having your dad on TV in panties.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But they might love that, dude.
Everyone did it except for Mike.
Mike, you gotta become part of the herd or your days are done.
All right, p*mps and h*s, you ready for our first luxury
competition?
[cheering]
When we walked outside for the luxury competition,
I led the way.
We just came out to, like, an amusement park.
It was amazing.
It was great.
I think this is gonna be so much fun.
Margarita!
You know what?
This is definitely for alcohol.
Fireball, baby!
Houseguests, what is a summer without the cool tang
of fresh margaritas? [cheering]
Huh?
Huh?
And what is the summer without the bubbling fun
of our "Big Brother" hot tub?
Today's luxury competition is called Margarita Madness.
[cheering]
It is our one and only chance to unlock the hot tub.
It is really k*lling me I cannot get in that hot tub.
It's just right there.
In order to win, we must correctly prepare
the "Big Brother" margarita.
There are six-- six steps to making this delightful drink.
Step one, you must salt the rim of the glass.
That's your responsibility.
So at this time, for the salting,
I'm going to assign Holly, Lori, Karen.
Salt sisters!
I would like to refer to us as the salt sisters.
We are quite salty.
Step two, you must get the ice from the bucket into the glass.
Mike and Marvin, that will be your job.
Step three is the tequila station.
Fill the jugs and empty them into the glass.
And I think this is going to take some muscle,
so Drew and Scott, this is on your shoulders.
Step four and five are the sugar and margarita mix stations.
Will, Diane, A, Nakomis.
Once the bags of sugar are added and stirred well,
the mix can be put into the buckets
and poured into the glass until the glass is full.
Step six is adding the lime.
Cowboy--
[cheering]
--that will be you.
And there is a lime suit provided.
You will go up these stairs, slide into this glass,
and find the hidden key inside a block of ice.
In order to win, we must correctly
prepare the "Big Brother" margarita,
and fill the glass to the red line, and find the key.
Toss that key down to me and we win the hot tub.
If we accomplish all of this within minutes,
the hot tub will be open tonight--
[cheering]
--along with a Margarita Madness party!
[cheering]
Huh?
Huh?
And there's more-- food!
[cheering]
You just don't understand what lack of food
will do to you once you're in the house and on PB&J.
But it's only for tonight.
Let's not waste any time.
When it comes your turn, add the "Big Brother"
lime, but don't eat the worm.
[cheering]
Let's get trashed!
[cheering]
[whistle blows]
I got in this hot lime suit.
I wasn't embarrassed.
I've done this type of stuff before,
so it's like-- it really wasn't a big deal.
[cheering]
Michael's face was absolutely perfect for that line suit.
The great part about Margarita Madness
was, everybody got to dress up in cool little outfits that
matched the stations they were working at.
[whistle blows]
[cheering]
Come on, girls!
When we started chiseling away,
I almost took off a few of Holly's fingers,
but I don't think she realizes it.
Let's do it!
Toss it up! - Speed!
Speed!
Come on, come on, come on.
Let's go!
You got it!
It doesn't have to be thick!
In the luxury competition, I did get to wear a cute outfit.
It was a cute silver hardhat.
And I had really great teammates!
[whistle blows]
Go, go, go!
- Go ice! - Let's go!
Let's go, boys!
It was our part of the margarita mix to get the ice in there.
Good job, Marvin! [cheering]
Yeah!
You know, I'm used to throwing stuff like that,
because I'm used to digging graves.
So I was using the same technique, but I had ice bags.
[cheering]
Come on, Mike!
Come on!
Mike stepped up.
He surprised me.
And I have-- I have a little more respect for that man.
Mike's earning his margarita!
It was extremely hard work.
It's harder than it looked.
[whistle blows]
Tequila can go!
Work it out!
Tequila tub!
Tequila tub!
Me and Drew, we had to put the tequila into tubs,
which was extremely hard.
Mine sucks.
Come on, Drew!
My phone's on my butt.
Am I good?
[whistle blows]
[interposing voices]
We had to get all the sugar into the margarita mix--
the spout--
the slide thing.
And that just was really tough.
Shake it.
Come on, guys!
I had to wear this costume, and the outfit was heavy.
It was big, rubber boots all the way up to your waist,
with, like, a car wash-type skirt that went around.
Let's go!
Let's go!
This alcohol is ours.
Diane really kicked butt moving those buckets.
Those buckets were really heavy.
Come on, Will.
My job was by far the most strenuous and difficult.
I mean, I don't know how much hardcore
labor these other people have done,
but nurses don't do yokes.
Will did a good job, man.
He probably could have handled it a lot faster.
But man, I can't take it away from him.
He kicked a*s.
Good job!
Good job!
Woo!
Hang in there, Will.
[cheering]
[whistle blows]
My man Cowboy just looked like the Fruit
of the Looms poster child.
[cheering]
Right when I got into the margarita glass,
I went for that key.
[cheering]
Everyone was so pumped up to know that we're not
having peanut butter and jelly.
And the hot tub is going to be so awesome.
[cheering]
The margarita party was a phenomenon.
We went outside, and there was food--
chips, quesadillas, guacamole.
- Thank you, "Big Brother." - Thank you!
- Thank you. - Thank you.
The food was so good.
We've been on PB&J all week.
Oh, my goodness!
Sweet.
The Margarita Madness luxury party last night--
that was some of the best quesadillas
I ever had in my life.
You couldn't get quesadillas that good in damn Mexico.
We're gonna go through this pretty fast, I hope they know.
I know.
He's macking it, isn't he?
Marvin is just really selfish and he kind
of ate everyone's quesadilla.
I've never seen anybody eat so fast.
Woo!
Marvin ate, like, four fajitas or whatever.
And everybody else just got one.
Talk to Marvin.
He took off with the whole plate.
Look, I'm pounds.
I need something to damn eat.
I'll tell you who got the advantage here is skinny,
anorexic white women.
They don't eat any damn way.
[burps]
We headed over to the hot tub and I felt like a king
with the food in the stomachs and the drinks.
It seemed everybody was, like, in a really good mood.
Did you drink tonight?
Not really, no.
Why not?
Because it's just not a good idea.
The strategy with the women-- it's working, you know,
to perfection right now.
I'm kind of working on Adria and the ditzy blonde chick.
And you can kind of capitalize on your fame.
That's good!
That's a big thing!
You appeal to the hedonistic factor in people.
When you can make them laugh, make them feel good,
they're feeling relaxed.
And everything is kind of going to plan right now.
Check it, dude.
We're in here, like, just talking about some ideas.
It's true.
I think Marvin's more or less looking
just to make it past week four.
- And he's cool with that. - Yeah.
I don't think he's going to put one of us up if he gets HoH.
The only thing with Marvin is, he's--
Tricky?
--so into these chicks that, like--
you know?
We might have to put one of them up.
I think Lori pissed him off with the money.
Lori with the grand pissed Marvin off.
So I think she's a definite one for him.
I don't think he--
I don't think he even--
We're the Four Horsemen right now, though.
Would you put Marvin up first?
Because I'm kind of scared of Marvin, too.
As you just said, he is a gamer.
No, I'm scared of Marvin, too.
Don't get me wrong.
Perfect world is, I'm done with this.
He goes to you--
Yeah, and then Drew.
--he goes to you, he goes to Drew.
I mean, you know--
And back to you.
I mean, that's what I would love.
[LAUGHING] Yeah.
If they win eight times, I mean, forget about it.
We're just-- [imitates g*nf*re] - I know.
I know.
It's like the Four Horsemen to the end.
[music playing]
So I pop into my room and there's
a note from "Big Brother."
I have a monitor to view my fellow Houseguests
while they're unsuspecting.
Hey, I want you to come into the Head of Household room--
Yes.
--and I want you guys to see something.
Go ahead and lock it.
- Lock the door. - Yeah.
What is that?
Have a seat.
Have a seat on my bed.
I don't have to tell anyone this.
But this is how true we are, you know?
And I think it's going to be our thing.
So I'm only telling you two and Michael.
And turn around.
What?
What?
[laughs]
Hey, but-- hey, don't say anything to anyone else until--
unless someone else gets in here.
I said that last night!
There's the fish.
Oh, that's awesome.
Then there's--
Oh, yes!
Yes!
[laughter]
This is great, dude!
Now, this yeah, the Head of Household
can just check out what's going on in the house--
not hear anything, but you can see who's talking
to who, where at, whenever.
OK, Will-- to me, he's a threat to the--
I mean, he's going to join with the women.
Do you think Will's playing the game right?
I mean-- - He is.
--he's trying to get in-- I think he is.
--with the girls.
You don't think he's trying to get both sides.
I know we can put him down when the time comes.
That's just it. - I love this power!
We have the power, man.
I love this power!
Look, I have an alliance with the Four Horsemen.
And that's what it is.
But also, I'm branching myself out.
[music playing]
What up?
[laughs] Can you say?
I feel like, since I am HoH, I am pulling the strings.
There is a different side of me in this house to everyone
I talk to in this house.
I like Marvin.
He makes me laugh my a*s off.
I know. I know.
I'm gonna hate to see him go if he goes.
But I mean, would you vote for him?
Well, if you-- if you told me that it was unanimous,
I would like to give him my vote just so he didn't--
so it went unanimous-- you know what I mean--
just make him feel better?
I feel threatened that I haven't talked to nobody about nothing.
I mean, that's-- you're in big trouble
when you're the only guy that ain't talked to nobody.
You're the-- [interposing voices]
I felt like, honestly-- because I felt like, I don't
know you hate my guts or not. - Oh, no, not at all.
I mean, I know that we've bonded more.
But I felt like, does Mike hate me?
Really, I thought that. - No.
Not at all.
Even-- but if I did, let's say, hypothetically, I
couldn't vote against you.
How do you face the rest of the alumni,
you know what I'm saying?
I don't trust Mike.
I think he's a gamer.
I think there may be something there.
There has to be other alliances in the house.
What I'd like--
as mean as it is-- the people that I'd like to see go
are some of the stronger players, like Scott.
And I'd like to see Jase go.
Absolutely.
And I'd be happy if you won it.
I would seriously be happy.
I'd be happy if Drew won it.
Though-- right.
Anybody that could use it. - Or A.
It's really gonna help.
You know what, though?
See, what I don't like about Adria--
don't get me wrong. I love her.
But if she's not-- if she don't want to commit,
I don't want to horse around.
I want to know I got the--
I'm covered 'til the end, you know what I'm saying?
Maybe you should have Drew say something to her.
She'd maybe be more game if she hearing it from him.
Well let me-- let me deal with him first and see what he says.
I kind of talked with Diane.
And I'm trying to get a little-- you know--
a little group of my own going--
not to-- not to put people out, but just to protect ourselves.
The way me and Diane see it is that you're, like, honest.
Right.
We're trying to get the honest people in.
Right.
Right Right.
You know what I mean?
And me and her feel like, there ain't a heck of a lot
here to deal with, you know? - The thing is-- right.
I know.
I haven't talked to Diane that much about anything.
Me and Diane are a lock.
So you wanna see what she thinks or no?
I'd like to hear her talk.
He wants to know how solid you are.
Just tell me how--
I'm so nervous about, like, any-- any-- any-- alliance.
I hate the A word.
Well, just think about it.
I don't care what you do, but--
I'll think about it.
--everybody's got to have-- everybody's got
to have a few people--
- Right. - --with them.
You have to.
You're not gonna last.
I haven't exactly figured out who to put on the block.
That's still kind of up in the air.
[music playing]
Lights up.
Before you is the "Big Brother" nomination box.
One of my duties as the first Head of Household
is to nominate two people for eviction.
Right now, everyone has a key to this house.
When all the keys have been pulled,
the two Houseguests without a key are nominated for eviction.
Next week, one of those nominees will be evicted from the house
and lose their key forever.
When Jase brought that nomination
box out, my stomach just, like, went straight into my throat--
just the reality of, you know, this is not just a vacation.
We are all here playing this game, and this is very real.
From, like-- from tonight 'til the end, somebody's at risk
every single time now.
And everybody's going to start changing, I think.
I think that everyone, now that he's
made the nomination announcement,
is a little bit nervous.
It's just still a little nerve racking
to know that people are going to be put up
and someone will be gone.
I'm not ready to start deceiving people yet.
But I mean, I'm not trying to trust anyone in this house
right now.
I just-- I'm just not worried about it, because I can't--
you know, you can't live your life being
afraid of being nominated, so--
No assumption.
Everybody in the house is a little on edge,
because we really don't know what's going on in Jase's mind
at this time.
I wouldn't want to make this first decision.
One of my duties as the Head of Household
is to nominate two people for eviction.
Here it is in a short period of time,
and I'm going to take someone's key from them.
You're reaching up there and you're grabbing that.
Their picture's looking you-- you know,
you look at their picture.
It's looking right at you. And you're, like, grabbing them.
When I was putting the keys into the box, it was like--
it's not a fun thing to do to send
people away from, you know, a great time, as I see it.
I do feel fortunate, on the other hand,
that I got to go first.
The nomination ceremony is ready to begin.
[screams]
[screams]
- Hi, Jase - Bleh!
- Hi, guys. - I can't do this!
- Hello. - Hello, Jase.
Thank y'all.
Everyone, this is the nomination ceremony.
I'm going to pull the first key, say that person's name
and that they're safe, and place it on the Lazy Susan
here and spin it around to that person.
They're going to put their key around their neck.
They're going to pull the next key for the next person,
say their name and that they're safe,
and so forth and so forth, and on and on until
everyone has either received a key or they haven't.
The two that do not receive a key at the end of this
will be the two that are nominated for eviction.
Good luck, man.
- Good luck to you guys. - Good luck.
All right. Here we go.
Good luck, everybody.
The first person that is safe is Holly.
Yay!
Oh, sorry.
[giggles] Cool.
The next person that's safe is Will.
Karen, you're safe.
Drew you are safe.
Thanks.
Marvin, you are safe.
Scott, you're safe.
Yes!
Cowboy.
Cowboy.
Yee-haw.
Lori, you're safe.
Adria, you're safe.
Last, but not least--
Diane, you're safe.
Well, it's obvious I nominated you, Mike, and you, Nakomis.
Mike, the reason I nominated you is, word
travels fast in this house, and I
heard that you were trying to create alliances,
and that I wasn't involved in your plan.
You're the don.
You're the godfather.
You're the one that I would consider, out of everyone here,
the professional in this game.
And in that, I consider you someone
that is probably a gamer out of everyone
else's league that's here.
So that's why I nominated you.
Nakomis, I nominated you basically
because we haven't had a chance to really get to know
each other all that much.
And that's basically it.
All right.
That said, the first nomination ceremony is over.
Woo!
That was, uh, scary.
I can deal with it.
Half of me feels like I need to, you know, protect Nakomis.
And the other half is no, because it is a game.
I'm not worried a bit.
I'm going to work my butt off to stay in this house, you know?
I'll wait for people to start making offers.
And if they don't make none, then,
you know, what have you-- wait and see what happens with veto.
Mike should have saw it coming.
Because he's trying to create alliances in the house.
And he didn't approach me about any of it.
He's a snake in the grass.
There is time.
But I've never seen two guys dominate like Scott and Jase
this early on.
And it's not about me getting more votes than Jennifer.
I'm up against Scott and Jase.
NARRATOR: Will Mike or Jennifer be
the first evicted from the "Big Brother" house?
Will a new spin on the veto change the nominations?
Find out Tuesday at :, : Central on "Big Brother ."
