NARRATOR: Previously on "Big Brother.
Roddy nominated Amy and Marcellas for a fiction,
pitting the good friends against each other--
I've put you up, simply because I know
that you're a vote for Amy.
NARRATOR: Leaving the once tight allies
fighting between themselves for survival in the house.
Marcellas, go tried to make you understand this.
I've tried.
There's no way that I would ever campaign against you--
[interposing voices]
NARRATOR: It was up to the other house guests
to decide their fate.
JULIE: By a vote of to , Amy, you are evicted
from the Big Brother house.
NARRATOR: The Head of Household competition
came down to a showdown between Eric and Gerry.
JULIE [VOICEOVER]: We're going to move
on to the tiebreaker question.
NARRATOR: And when a former outcast
took over the coveted power position--
JULIE [VOICEOVER]: Gerry, congratulations.
You are the new Head of Household.
NARRATOR: The couples alliance feared their once powerful
foursome could come to an end.
Who will Gerry choose to nominate next for eviction?
Find out tonight on "Big Brother ."
[music playing]
JULIE: By a vote of to , Amy, you are evicted
from the Big Brother house.
I voted to evict Amy.
- Amy. - Amy.
- Amy. - Amy.
Amy.
Amy.
Amy's been like the most fun part of my stay here.
I will miss her tremendously.
To the world, it probably looks like we ganged
up and sent her on the way.
Thank you.
All the evictions have been hard.
But I started to well up when she went out.
[interposing voices]
What matters is that when she walked away,
she walked away with no enemies, but only friends.
I was gonna vote to not evict her,
if she didn't go around asking every other person for a vote.
In my victory was her defeat.
And gosh, that was the most horrible thing.
I know hoe it feels.
By the unanimous decision of the house,
it really, I think, spoke volumes to Marcellas,
saying everybody that told me they
were gonna vote to save me really, in fact, did that.
I don't trust anybody at face value.
I mean, these are the very same people who had my bags packed
and had me out the door the first week that had totally
discounted me as a person.
It's difficult.
Yeah.
It is.
But I'm here.
Yipee.
[inaudible]
I'm back, because I want to be here.
I have another week.
And it's a sad situation, because I'm gonna miss my girl.
But it was a very happy situation, because I
am supposed to be here.
I don't want to pack that bag again until I'm walking
out of here with my $,.
Three down, seven more to go.
I was relatively safe with anyone
else getting Head of Household, except for one person.
That person happens to be Gerry.
JULIE [VOICEOVER]: Gerry, congratulations.
But I just [muted] and that's really all there is to it.
Because I know I'm a targeted person.
And I just feel like I did the whole group a disservice.
I'm dreaming I know.
Well, you know, the worm turns, doesn't it?
I get to have center stage.
All comes to he who waits.
[interposing voices]
I think this week is going to be nothing but pure hell.
All I can tell you is if there's any scotch in there,
no one else gets that.
I'm very excited about the perks of the Head of Household.
So much better than mine.
So much better.
That's great, Gerry.
And the music is U, "Joshua Tree."
I've been bragging about the Christmas cards
that my family does and I can't wait to show them
to the rest of the household.
This is Christmas, December .
That's a cute Christmas card.
And then, this is when we lived in Jersey.
This is-- this is when we lived in Plainfield, New Jersey.
But how come your kids are so cute and you're so ugly?
Cause my wife's [muted] beautiful.
What do you think?
Josh is making himself at home.
[inaudible]
Joshie, you're not sleeping with me.
You're damn right I ain't, Gerry.
I'll tell you that right now.
It's almost like pathetic to see that Josh seems
so confident around Gerry, after, like, calling
him a n*zi the whole week.
You know what I mean?
Like, he can't even go near him and--
I want to say that I'm confident that with Gerry
as Head of Household that I'm safe for the other week
and he's gonna get the job done that I want him to get done.
I know if he doesn't hold to his--
his word that he's-- that I'm--
I'm the one who's up and out.
Josh, he really needs me to be on his side now.
I have no illusions at all that if it's to his advantage
he won't set me up somewhere down the road.
I just have to hope that I can do it before he does it to me.
Will you help me unpack, new Head of Household?
Oh.
Gerry has the power.
Gerry's now in bed with Josh.
All I want from him is for him to not nominate me
and to not nominate Danielle and to not nominate Jason.
Anybody else in the house is fair game.
Oh, I'm just a little pumped.
I'm either controlling the puppet
or the puppet's controlling me.
You know, they're gonna come to you--
they're gonna come to you with everything deal on the block
today. - We're on the same page.
We're on the same page, absolutely.
I know.
And we'll find out when the nomination box hits the table.
We're just kind of, like, freaked out.
Nervous.
It's gonna get ugly.
If he puts us up, he's [muted] fried.
He's fried.
He should know that.
His chances of even going the next week, because he
can not win Head of Household.
The only person on his team would be Marcellas.
No, he's fried any--
either way.
And I think he realizes that.
I'm sure he's gonna throw a couple twists in there,
as far as the eviction goes.
I won't be able to watch Josh kiss his a*s.
I will go frickin' nuts.
But that's kind of a tempting thing.
Like, do you go after Josh?
Or do you go after the foursome?
I think Gerry's gonna walk around here with,
you know, his head a little bit blown up.
I'd just like to know what everyone's feeling.
And you don't-- I mean--
and I certainly will respect if anyone
doesn't want to say a thing.
I really don't know where Gerry stands
and what he thinks about me.
And that does concern me.
You know, I definitely would--
I'd love to talk and just hear, you know,
what you're thinking and-- and share some thoughts.
I'm hoping that right now I'm low enough on Gerry's radar
that I'm not a person nominated this week.
HOH is a tough--
a tough spot.
And man, I know you're gonna do a great job.
Thank you.
I appreciate it.
I believe Gerry's out to get Jason.
My goal in this game is to protect Jason and myself.
The last person I wanted to win was the person who did win.
He's kind of a, you know, loose cannon,
as far as who he might put up.
And so we're all kind of at risk.
Well, at least some of us are more at risk than others.
Don't worry.
We have three women left, Lisa, Chiara, myself.
That's a problem.
With Power of Veto, you got me.
With vote, you got me.
I got your word?
You got my word.
Oh my god, Dani, thank you so much.
I'll keep Chiara, because Chiara has trusted me.
And I don't foresee her turning on me.
And she told me you're the only person I believe in.
And that's part of the game.
You have to have people believing you
and build that trust with-- with you.
And that's just part of the game, part of manipulation.
So you know, when, like, you--
they always say like when things are bad,
you know who your true friends are?
Mhm.
Danielle just pulled me in the storage room
and she goes, I just want you to know,
no matter what, you're my girl.
She's like I'll always Veto you out.
And I will never vote you out.
Perception is reality.
I'm sure in someone like Gerry's eyes,
he knows that if it came down to the three of us at the end,
he sure as heck would know that the two of us
would g*ng up on him, which is probably
gonna come back and hurt me.
That's nice.
She's like I don't give my word to anyone, you know that.
When I was Head of Household when I first got put
up a week ago, I went up and made--
made Gerry a kind of a deal.
I said, if I decide to keep you off the block, would
you do the same for me.
And he said, yes.
Of course, this is no one's business.
Of course.
And I hope he keeps his word, because when I wasn't sure
and I had a chance to get him out of here,
I stuck up for him.
And I'm pretty confident he's gonna do the same for me.
Look at this.
Setting it up.
[inaudible]
You're safe.
You want Chiara safe too?
I mean, I'm attracted to Chiara.
And I think she's a great girl.
But I'm-- I'm a big enough boy to realize,
you know, that if things--
if Chiara was gonna say, hey, the girls
and I are sticking together, well, then guess what, Chiara?
You're on the block.
I would be very surprised if he didn't go after one of us,
either myself, Roddy, or Josh or Lisa or Chiara.
I don't have allegiance to Lisa.
And the bottom line is we're gonna probably end up spending
time after this anyway. So--
I know.
I can be like, hey, sorry, you know, you're gone.
If Lisa's got to go, then Lisa's got to go.
Everyone in the household should be careful.
Some people may be more safe than others.
But everybody should be cautious.
The house definitely does spend a lot of time sunbathing.
It's easy to sunbathe when you're sleeping.
We wake up at what seems like noon.
We like looking at the girls sunbathing.
I'm not going to lie about that.
Spray bottle is very important.
It gets very hot.
Slowly and evenly.
That's what I say.
It's the technique to a perfect tan.
When we first came to this house,
you know, one would think that, oh, wow,
you've got everything you need.
But that's really not the case.
No TVs.
No music.
No telephones.
Things get old pretty quick.
We're pretty resourceful about games to play,
because there's no stimuli at all.
I brought in three perfect, beautiful, fabulous
little rubber ducks.
And now, these people have absconded with them
and are passing them around.
We'd invented Duck Ball.
It started just throwing the ducks and playing catch.
Then, we said, well, let's make a game.
[inaudible]
We've brought up all these International
Federation rules of Duck Ball.
We've got a big round blue pail.
That sits on the foul line in the middle
of a basketball circle.
We toss the ducks into the air.
The object is to get as close to the pail as possible.
If you hit within the circle, it's one point.
Oh.
[inaudible]
If you hit the bucket, it's worth
two points and an extra duck.
Two and a bonus duck.
If you sink a duck inside the bucket clean,
you get three points and an extra duck.
[screaming]
I'm apprehensive, because I don't know what they're
going to do with my ducks.
And I'm sensitive to what could happen to my ducks.
I don't know that they're necessarily
happy being tossed around, because they
are supposed to be in water.
They're supposed to be in the pool.
The water's warm tonight too.
I'm not sure if America is quite ready for Duck Ball yet.
years down the road, I mean, there
could be a full on league.
I mean, it's probably gonna be considered
as a summer Olympic sport.
Wait.
Did you put-- did you use alcohol on that first?
Yes, I just did.
Of course I did.
The most disgusting part of this house
is these people are nasty.
Some people are constantly in the mirror,
plucking their hair.
Oh.
It's like some damn Discovery Channel gorilla show.
Picking at people.
It's just disgusting.
There is certainly a high level of grooming
going on in the house.
[squeaking noise]
These women are all about control.
I have a massive, massive grooming obsession.
[squeaking noise]
These are strangers.
Why are you popping their zits?
I saw a few things on Roddy that
needed to be taken care of.
I have to do something about it. - Ow.
That one hurt too.
He had, like, practically a unibrow.
You pull them out so slowly that--
No.
I don't.
It just hurts.
It's almost instinctive for women
to groom and nurture and take care of their--
of their man.
And sometimes they draw blood and sometimes they
cause great pain. - Wah.
Stop.
That's my head.
Stop.
I'm done.
I'm officially done.
See you later.
Let me do it.
I decided to stage an intervention,
because they were all getting a little rugged
and I was tired of looking at that.
And so I proposed facials.
Yeah, nice.
And you want to actually go up.
You never want to go down.
Guys are very big on their self-image in this house.
Roddy's more of a--
a man's man, like myself.
Especially Eric and I are completely helpless
and we just stand there like a guinea pig.
All you have to do is wait for this to dry.
And then, we're going to do moisturizers.
I have no dignity and I'm going down hard.
It makes sense.
I'm going down hard.
Everything I said earlier about Eric and Roddy
being real men and being men's men, I was completely off base.
Josh, Josh is not involved this, because he's
the smartest guy in the house.
And right now, we all wish we had made
the same choice as Josh has.
He's not as secure in his masculinity
as I think the three of us--
- Wow. - Wow.
I didn't think it was gonna get there.
Their dignity level is at like an all time below zero level.
And I don't want any affiliation with them from this point on.
These boys are already cracking.
They've been on too long.
Yeah.
[interposing voices]
[music playing]
Eric and I have a very nice, strong growing relationship.
I can't be expected to just sit
here and not be doing anything.
Hi.
What?
Eric and I were kissing.
He stopped and just said, hi.
What?
I almost started to cry.
He didn't know what he did.
He thought I was gonna hit him.
I can leave the house now.
I now know why I was put in this house.
I explained the situation to him.
That has been my little thing forever.
Any guy that can, in the middle of the kiss,
or the middle of making love or whatever,
just stop and say hello to the, would send me over the roof.
Are you serious?
Yeah.
I felt like a princess in a storybook.
I felt swept off my feet.
Please, don't cry.
I know now what it feels to have something real.
Roddy is there a reason why my coffee cup's empty?
I'm just curious.
Oh.
Wow.
I need the soy milk, two sugars, clean spoon.
Roddy and I have definitely become
very close friends in the short time
that we've known each other.
You know, we almost bond like college buddies,
like frat brothers.
I kick his a*s in chess daily.
Checkmate.
[inaudible]
Eric's a great person.
It's made him and I kind of jump ahead of the pack, as
far as a friendship.
I'll throw you right in this alkaline infested pool.
Eric and Roddy, they seem very much like brothers.
Eric and I, we love like the caricatures.
When you go to a gym, there's always like the muscle heads.
I'm doing freaking cardio.
Can't you look?
He just does these really funny
impersonations of what he calls typical Italian behavior
in New Jersey.
Look at those things.
That's a good set.
more.
Whoo.
They do the gym and like whoo.
Whoo.
Whoo.
Whoo.
Jersey style.
Whoo.
It helps the workout go by.
Hey, by the way, how's your mother?
Your ma, how's she doing?
Eric, like I really care about him.
I look forward to being his friend.
And I sincerely have made plans to see him after this
and keep in my life.
Come on.
Hey.
Hey, broken bones.
OK.
First order of business, we need two teams.
OK.
And here comes the red.
We split into two teams, put on our diner shirts,
and then headed outside to compete for food this week.
Are we ready?
Welcome to Ger's Diner.
Here we go.
[interposing voices]
This is cool.
This week's food competition, "I Can
Eat Anything Better Than You."
Here are the rules.
The time limit is two minutes.
When a player completes the task in time, his or her team scores
one point.
If a player fails to complete the task,
the other team gets the point.
The first team that scores three points wins the game.
And groceries for a week.
The losers get a week of PB&J. Is everyone ready
to take your places, make your bids, and stuff your faces?
We have no idea what you're gonna have to eat.
A lot of foods, I just don't think I can swallow.
OK.
From the red team, we have Chiara.
Blue team picks Lisa.
And the first item, Brussels sprouts.
- In two minutes? - In two minutes.
I can eat five.
In two minutes, I can eat six.
I could eat seven.
I can eat eight.
I can eat nine.
In two minutes, I can eat .
I could eat .
In two minutes, I can eat .
Chiara, I want to see you choke down Brussels sprouts,
in two minutes.
OK.
Let the games begin.
[whistle]
Oh, her hand's shaking a little bit.
One minute.
We have six left to go.
She's halfway there.
[applause]
[inaudible]
Come on. Stick them all in your mouth.
Just stick them all in.
, , , , , , , .
[whistle]
A noble effort, but a failure.
An attempt at , Chiara got seven of them down.
Blue team, one point.
Jason Guy.
Red team counters with Josh.
Twinkies.
Yeah.
Josh loves Twinkies.
I love Twinkies myself.
I'm not a big fan of gouging food and stuffing it my mouth--
mouth like that.
Five.
Six.
Seven.
I'm gonna eat eight.
There's no way.
Eight Twinkies.
There's no way. [whistle]
[inaudible] - Keep doing it.
Shove them down your throat.
[interposing voices]
What are you waiting for?
Don't listen to him.
Just get them down.
[interposing voices]
It's inhuman.
The mouth is clear.
Blue team two point.
The beautiful Danielle.
Take it, E. We're gonna just take it right now.
Jalapeno stuffed olives.
OK.
Let's go.
Bring it on.
Let's go.
He hates olives.
I love olives.
I'm like done.
I could eat in two minutes.
.
.
Wow.
I want to see you eat of these wholesome jalapeno-y
stuffed fat green olives.
.
[inaudible]
[whistle]
[inaudible]
Is it burning?
[inaudible]
That's hurting her.
That's hurting her.
She's got her game face on.
[interposing voices]
With more than a minute to go, she has only--
she has two in her hand.
[interposing voices]
It is clear.
It is clear.
Red team on the board.
Blue team, two.
I was dreading this whole thing.
It's already running through your mind,
like what could this be.
What-- what could this possibly be?
You guys will be bidding on eating chicken livers.
It was surreal.
It was deep fried breaded organ.
[interposing voices]
I was done.
Oh.
Marcellas.
Marcellas, can you-- you can do it.
One-- one every seconds.
You can get four in you.
And then, you have to start the biding.
Three.
Four.
[interposing voices]
You can cut the tension with a knife.
[inaudible]
Marcellas was terrified.
He hates it.
We knew that we were gonna have a free win.
I challenge you, Marcellas, to eat five bile filtering
livers of these chickens that have
been dead carcai for a while.
Oh, god.
Please don't make this happen.
[interposing voices]
It was truly my nightmare on a plate.
I couldn't do it. I could not do it.
Marcellas, they're so small.
It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me.
Oh, I love a chicken liver.
I'm ready.
Yeah, baby.
[inaudible]
[whistle]
[interposing voices]
Plenty of time, Marcellus.
Plenty of time.
[interposing voices]
Marcellas.
[inaudible]
Just take another sip of water.
Get to three.
Get to three.
Marcellus, you got it.
[inaudible]
[interposing voices]
[interposing voices]
Swallow it.
Get some water. - Good job, baby.
Good job.
[interposing voices]
Take it down, baby.
Take it down.
[interposing voices]
It wasn't like, you know, you gag.
I had actual vomit in my mouth.
Marcellus.
, , --
[whistle]
He got it.
That is unbelievable.
[interposing voices]
I think it took everything in him to get those down.
And he did it.
I mean, obviously, the most valuable
player in the game today.
Blue team wins this week's food competition.
Who's the big winner?
Marcellus, that's who.
Everyone's hugging him, saying, we got to love it.
I ain't got to love him.
I'm gonna eat peanut butter and jelly for the freaking week.
It's disgusting.
Why?
Why?
I hate peanut butter and jelly.
I'm starting to get more comfortable
in here, which means that the chatter might start.
Move over.
I'm coming in.
[snoring]
Go for that guy.
That guy right there.
Gotta pick him up.
I'll bet this is a nice little--
thing.
My sleep talking is definitely starting
to progress a little bit.
Yeah, thing.
Good choice of word there.
Schmuck.
I'm starting to get a little more comfortable in the house.
If he bites down on my teeth, I can't think about it.
I'm falling asleep quicker.
I'm sleeping through the night, which
means that my mind's going.
My dreams are getting a little more intense.
Like, I just rolled over and looked up and I saw a bunch
of--
I guess they were snakes.
I don't know.
They were kissing or something.
Eric's sleep talking has certainly intensified.
I've heard him whistle in his sleep and say, now,
it's time for singing and dancing.
Doesn't mean anything.
It was just dancing.
He's clearly a psycho.
Four.
Take that.
Four.
Hey, Lisa.
Two.
Eric still sleep talks.
You know, I am used to it, I guess.
Hey, guys.
Saw a layer, underlayer.
It was pretty freaking wild.
I swear to god.
Usually when he speak talks, you could tell he's at a bar
or hanging out with his friends.
He's always in a happy mood.
You're just a hot piece of a*s.
Gonna move all over it.
But a couple of nights ago, he was
making kind of scary noises.
[groan]
I knew it.
You are gonna die right now.
[inaudible]
I was really worried.
It wasn't natural.
Where are you going?
It just freaked her out so much
that she actually got out of bed and moved to another bed
to escape his lunacy.
You scared me.
Why did I scare you?
I don't know.
I'm sorry.
I don't mean to.
I know you don't mean to.
I hope there's some sleep doctors
out there that are watching this show
and that will call me up and--
and offer me some insight as to what goes on in my head
after I go to sleep.
Thanks for the fun loving.
That's good TV right there.
What?
[snoring]
With Roddy, everything right now just seems perfect, which
is exactly where it should be.
You know, he can-- he has enough time
to show me his imperfections later on down the road.
What's Kiki's last name?
I'll find out for you.
Get on the case there, kid.
I had no idea.
I don't think I'd ever heard it before.
I don't even know the girl's name
I'm sleeping every night with. - This is true.
You know--
I did-- I heard it once.
Vanderway?
I tried to have Josh bail me out and find
out exactly what it was.
And he kind of asked at a wrong time, when I
was sitting right next to him.
Kiki, what's your last name?
You don't know my last name?
I-- I-- I keep getting it wrong.
What's my last name, Rod?
He told me-- wait, he's not allowed to say it again,
because he told me.
She looked right at me and she said,
Roddy, what's my last name, knowing
that I was the one behind it.
What is it?
I don't know.
[inaudible]
He's not gonna say it out loud.
A lot of things don't mean anything in this house.
But you'd think if you like someone
and you spend so much time with them,
you would know their last name.
You have no idea what my last name is.
It's me. What is it?
No.
You have no idea what my last name is?
I don't.
She got all bent out of shape immediately.
What, Roddy? You don't know my last name?
Oh, I can't believe it.
But you know, it's like five little letters, basically,
put together and you're gonna jump on his back
and I'm the one who's totally clueless calling you Tooty.
It's the fact that I really couldn't believe that does
not know my last name.
I had blown it.
But in true Josh Feinberg style, I
took the responsibility on myself,
made her feel completely guilty.
And she actually went outside and apologized to Roddy,
even though she was completely right.
I jumped down your throat.
Yes, you did.
I'm really sorry.
That's OK.
Thanks for saying it.
He played it smooth.
I turned it around, made her look like a lunatic.
Not very hard to do.
I know.
Oh my god.
From day one, Chiara has had trouble
remembering Roddy's name.
She blew it again.
See how he's-- no, Hardy.
Wow.
She just called me Hardy.
Again.
I started calling him Hottie.
Because like, I think he's so hot that he's Hottie.
So at the table, I was in the midst--
I didn't know whether to call him Hottie or Roddy
and when I got confused, it came out Hardy.
I do know he was a guy on the show last year.
I don't know anything about him.
Unbelievable.
But I swear to God, I only saw his picture
and I think he was definitely the hottest
member of the cast last year.
But I know nothing about him.
And of course, everyone who watched the show last year
was like, oh, he was such a meat head.
And all he did was work out and then smoke cigarettes
and blah, blah, blah.
And I'm just like, oh god.
Totally wouldn't be my type.
Hottie, Roddy, Hardy.
Two wrongs do not make a right.
I know they don't, but--
If I'm Roddy, I would be annoyed with Chiara's attitude
to a degree.
Sorry.
Please, do not say anything.
You know what I mean, that could put me in a position
where I like-- we're just doing the dishes.
We're not saying anything.
You're annoyed.
You're mad about it.
Please don't try to read my mind.
I'm not.
Why do you think I'm trying to read your mind?
Because you just told me what I'm feeling and I'm not.
It just makes it easier for him to cut
her loose when he has to.
You know that the girls hate Josh.
I think that's why Josh is also very focused on getting
rid of one of the girls, because he
knows that the girls hate him.
I know that.
And they would move against him very easily.
That's why I want to hear everyone out.
He's convinced I want to put both girls up.
He's gonna do what he wants to do.
And he's going to do it in the manner
in which he wants to do it.
I wouldn't go after the two girls.
Suddenly their numbers are really down.
Dani can play the boys too.
With me she plays the parent things.
Then, she has the ghetto thing with you.
She just totally has the Black thing with me.
My biggest concern is that he's going put up and me.
You know, I mean, I'm hoping that Gerry doesn't put me up.
But seeing him win Head of Household was pretty rough.
I talked to him briefly.
And I said, I don't want to know who you're putting up,
because I prefer not to know.
But don't do the obvious, for once, please.
That's what you said to him?
Yeah.
Just don't do it.
Chiara and I had a heart to heart.
And I told her, I said, you know, Chiara, I got you.
You know, I got your back.
If he puts me up, he puts me up.
The fact that Gerry won, either my Karma's off
or I'm supposed to be out of this house a lot sooner
than I expected.
It's gonna suck if he does that.
And I said, sometimes it's best to be with the minority
than it is to be with the majority.
And I'm not talking about who he's going to put up
or anything like that.
My goal is to get the girls--
Off the chopping block.
That's the honest truth.
I will do everything in my power to always save you.
I really will.
I appreciate that.
And that's my word.
So what do you think he's gonna do?
He's probably gonna put up Jason.
[inaudible]
Well, I don't really trust Gerry.
I don't trust him across the board.
And I don't think he's part of the original group anymore.
So he can put any one of us up.
No.
Let me ask you this.
[inaudible]
Why are you not going after Roddy?
I understand where you're coming from with it though.
He's the most dangerous player in the game.
Right now is optimum time to get rid of him.
And then, past that the girls are gonna self-destruct.
Do what you gotta do.
Don't come after me.
But get rid of some people that are standing in our way,
that are obstacles to us.
I wouldn't put both girls up.
But I'd put both boys up.
Because those are the two in the end game
that are the strongest players.
It's really about who you want to see sitting
across from you at the end.
And I think that Roddy has the charisma to win it.
I will never say never.
Things change in this house in an instant.
I have to be prepared with plan A
or plan B. And at the same time, not
alienate some of the other players at this point.
We can only protect each other so far.
Oh, I know.
I'm a little nervous as to what's exactly gonna go down.
I don't think I'm gonna be nominated.
I want these nominations over with.
I do too.
So what do you think he's gonna do?
I don't know.
It's a very frightening thing to suddenly be the--
god, the-- almost- the executioner, if you will.
As I was taking the keys off the wall,
I couldn't help but noticing the three black and whites
and realizing that my action was gonna result in someone else's
photo becoming black and white.
Putting the keys in, I--
I wanted to feel better about it.
But I didn't.
The hardest moment was actually, really,
putting the keys in the bag.
OK, folks, it's time to do the nomination ceremony.
If we could all gather at the table.
I'm done so it's your turn when we get back.
This is the nomination ceremony.
I really hated doing this.
I am old enough here to be everyone of your father.
But this is a game.
And the game we have to play.
And my decision is based on that and I'll
explain a little more later.
So I'll remove the key and we'll know who's first.
Josh, you're safe.
Thank you, Gerry.
Danielle, my belle, you are safe.
Chiara, you are safe.
Marcellus, you are safe.
Roddy, you're safe.
Jason, you are safe.
Lisa, Eric, obviously, I nominated you guys.
It's a game.
It's not for nothing we've been playing chess.
I have a chance, strategically, to remove
the queen and a knight.
It's simply, in terms of chess moves, my best ploy and nothing
more than that, nothing personal at all.
I-- I'm fond of both of you.
I think you're both great players.
And because of that, because the position the queen can play
in a game or the knight can play in the game,
I have to play it that way.
And that's all.
And I hated doing it.
No problem.
Part of the game.
That's it.
Those of you who still have a key, put it back on the wall.
And we'll go from there.
Gerry's reasoning was very cowardly.
I was feeling guilty that I felt I brought Eric along with me.
This scenario is very heartbreaking for me.
It sucks.
It's terrible.
I don't want to lose Lisa.
If I win the Power of Veto, I would definitely save Eric.
I'm feeling a great measure of guilt.
I'm also dreading repercussions.
Power of Veto competition is gonna
be like none other we've seen.
It's like a tragic love story.
It's ugly.
It's bad.
But someone has to do it.
The centers get punished, not rewarded.
Duh.
Who knows?
Maybe I'll be able to pull a Marcellas.
We'll see what this week has in store for me.
NARRATOR: Who will win the Power of Veto?
And will it be used to save either Lisa
or Eric from eviction?
If so, who will Gerry nominate instead?
