[music playing]
NARRATOR: Previously on "Big Brother ," strangers
from across America met for the first time
in front of this house.
Moments later, they entered, hoping to live there
for the next three months.
Once a week they must vote to evict one of their own,
with the last remaining houseguest taking home
a half million dollar prize.
[laughter]
In this house, there are no books, no TV,
no telephones, and no privacy.
[interposing voices]
To win their first week's groceries,
the houseguests tested their nesting instincts.
[cheering]
Then it was revealed that the last pair down
would also win $, for each week
they are both in the house.
This means we are going to be up a tree all night?
NARRATOR: After several hours getting to know each other,
some of the houseguests gave up the battle.
Oh, thank god.
NARRATOR: And Josh led five of the others
in a secret meeting against Marcellas.
We all picked him out as having a very negative vibe.
NARRATOR: Sensing Josh's hostility,
Marcellas decided to lay low.
I do want people to underestimate
me and play me like I'm stupid.
NARRATOR: Finally, Jason and Lori won the prize.
[cheering]
The next day, the houseguests played a game to choose
their first head of household.
Most likely to clean a toilet with someone else's toothbrush?
[laughter]
Marcellas.
JULIE: Go on up there, Marcellas.
NARRATOR: Lisa won the coveted title,
along with a private room for the week.
But as head of household, she must choose the first two
nominees for eviction.
Which of her new housemates will Lisa nominate for eviction?
Find out tonight on "Big Brother ."
[music playing]
I love all the power that I have as head of household.
As head of household, I honestly am
going to need a wake up call.
Otherwise I'm not waking up and I will be in there all day.
I love having all of my special gifts.
And I love my food and my special refrigerator.
My cat.
I have pictures of Herman.
I couldn't ask for anything else.
I was really surprised.
Yeah, but you have responsibilities now.
Yeah, now you have responsibilities.
Stop lounging around, dammit.
Take care of us.
Get to work.
We'll just call you Queenie.
Actually, I wish I could have delayed the power for a couple
more days, so I can get a little more comfortable,
so maybe I could invite someone to share my bed with,
but sleeping alone for right now will be OK.
At least I have my bear.
I'm surprised with this.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
I would have washed you if I knew you
were going to be on television.
Now I'm loving it.
I was only worried for the first five minutes,
but I'm going be great head of household for the week.
I'm excited.
I could get comfortable.
It was so funny.
Danielle looks at me, and she's like, who?
Lisa.
Tonya-- Lisa.
Then Tonya changes her vote, because it was eight to two.
So who voted against me?
Roddy and Jason.
Really?
I'm nervous.
I'm still paranoid, a little bit,
but I'm going to do my damnedest to keep her on the right track
of keeping me in.
I guess everyone's starting to formulate in their mind what
they think's going to happen.
She's in a tough spot because there's
been so much harmony over the last couple of days,
which rightfully so.
So she's put in a position.
Yeah.
So I feel for her that way.
As long as it's not me.
Yeah.
Lisa could possibly pick me for nomination
because we haven't actually sat down
and had any kind of real one on one.
We don't know each other well.
None of us know each other.
That's the first thing-- when she was standing up there,
I was actually-- not because I don't like her,
but I barely know her, and I was hoping it was going to be you,
because I've spoken to you a hell of a lot more than her,
you know?
I think Lori's fantastic girl.
I'm going to trust Lori.
I think she, like myself, is kind of standing
back and letting things happen.
There are some rumors flying on what's going to happen.
What's that?
Couple rumors flying on what's going to happen.
Is there?
I feel Marcellas may be in danger of being nominated.
Amy may be in danger.
Josh may be in danger.
Yeah, me too.
We've been here for hours, you know?
I asked him if he's paranoid by nature.
I believe there might be a lot of backstabbers in the house.
Sure.
It's really early.
Like right now, you have one bit of information
to go on with someone.
That's really not--
It's not even-- you know--
so that's what I asked him.
I said, are you paranoid by nature?
Yeah.
[inaudible] I think he wants to make it easier.
Yeah.
I think he's worried he's going to be nominated.
First time, it's just based on luck and--
It is.
And not even first impression.
Like a little bit first impression,
but a little bit of popularity.
First one is almost not fair.
I mean, if she got called in two days after--
the day after we got here to nominate two,
you can't hardly blame her.
As long as it's not me.
[laughter]
Hey Lisa, can I rub your feet?
[laughter]
Please?
You just want my beer.
Now that I'm head of household, in the very beginning
I did feel segregated.
I felt awkward.
I wasn't thinking, oh yes, everyone's
going to kiss my behind.
I just have to move all this stuff.
You don't want me to help?
I would love it if you could help.
Start grabbing stuff from in there, I guess.
I think that's a good idea.
[knocking]
Yeah?
[inaudible]
Oh my god, how smart is that?
That'll bring your--
which one was your other one?
I already cleared that one.
OK, cool.
Just tell me when that one's set and I'll take it back.
Thank you.
People are kissing Lisa's a*s more.
Not literally.
But there's a lot more attention being paid to her.
I think part of the induction ceremony
should be I get my bed back when I'm done.
Oh, yeah, of course.
OK
- I mean, you-- - Is it?
Because I'm gone for a week, and I've
only spent one night with you guys,
but I feel such a strong bondage.
It was the most beautiful night of my life, basically.
It looked like Eric's trying to work
that door a little more now.
He's spending a lot of time with her.
Party in the HOH room tonight!
Head of household, would you like a beer?
[laughter]
I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid.
People do look at her differently for the first week.
And I think she--
this is the greatest time to be head of household.
Lisa is the head of the household
and so she's a threat.
Towel right behind you on the bench.
Hey, E, throw the king a towel.
[laughter]
But I don't know how long that's going to last.
I mean, that could be just this week
and things might get shuffled up next week.
Let me and Roddy get in here.
You're out, too.
No dishpan hands for the head of household.
I can't go wrong at this point.
It's a position that someone had to hold,
and I'm glad that I have it now, and I wouldn't trade it in.
I have to start somewhere to win,
and this is the best place to start.
I was surprised I was eliminated
from head of household by Lori.
The head of household competition
didn't go exactly as I planned it,
only because when it started I thought for sure
I would be head of household.
JULIE: Lori, who would you not like to see
as the first head of household?
Josh.
Wow.
JULIE: Get on those stools, Josh.
Yeah, that would be smart.
Danielle knows I have her back.
That's the impression she's getting me.
I don't know if it's true.
Danielle doesn't like you.
I don't think she does.
I knew there would be people that didn't.
Oh my god, the girl won't shut up.
Anybody want wine?
Oh, god.
OK, good, I didn't want to share anyway.
I wasn't sure about you at first.
I didn't like you the first couple hours.
Nobody does.
I make the worst first impressions.
Yeah, me too.
I know, I know.
You'll be fine.
My trust factor with Lisa, it really is up in the air,
and I think more so-- maybe more so than it should be.
I don't know.
I don't trust her.
That's what I'm hoping.
You guys haven't even seen me naked yet.
[laughter]
Oh god.
Then the laugh track begins.
Oh god.
It's gonna be a long week.
Yeah, it is.
All right, we'll see what happens.
The game has begun.
Yeah.
Who's rubber ducky?
Marcellas.
It's getting launched.
Man, you probably feel like, what the hell
did you bring me here for?
I don't hate you.
I love you.
My ducky.
He was talking about being in a thong on the beach.
He's g*y, right?
I would think.
Before I came into the "Big Brother" house,
I was worried about how I was going to control
my image, because I think if you try to play this,
like, I'm not g*y thing, which I'm
obviously not capable of doing, then you're done.
You've lost.
I would say yes.
Don't you think?
Yeah, I think so.
I think people know but nobody has
been like direct enough to ask.
If he's not, we're really sorry.
I didn't want it to be like this sort of announcement,
but then I know it's coming and I'm waiting for the other shoe
to drop.
And all I can do is wear my cashmere sweater
and clutch my pearls and hope for the best.
[laughter]
- Can I see your pictures? - Yeah.
I love pictures.
That's my cat.
Oh, that's cool.
Yes.
Aww.
Well, I'm putting on my bathing suit.
Yeah, I'm going to go change too.
I've been ready to change since I changed the first time.
It's time to get naked.
We have a pretty crowd.
There's not a extremely ugly person in the bunch.
Tonya is exceptional, considering
she's had five children.
When I first saw her I thought she was probably around my age.
I think Lisa's very pretty also.
You look good in that swimsuit, girl.
Thank you [inaudible].
Lisa working the thong.
Come on, gal.
She looks so good.
I know, I'm like, I'm the fat girl in the house now.
Boo!
[scream]
Yes.
These people are definitely becoming my new family.
You know, I'm real comfortable being dad.
You kids take that outside.
You kids take that outside right now or there's
going to be an accident
He's kind of the senior member of the house
and been kind of a father figure,
and he's explaining things and teaching us a lot.
It does remind me that I do have children of my own.
The fact that Chiara is virtually
the same age as my daughter.
Roddy's reminding me a lot of my son Jeffrey.
I am definitely missing my kids a lot.
My kids are wonderful.
Today is our first luxury competition.
It's pretty hot.
It's hot.
You may have noticed that the hot tub in the backyard
is locked.
"Big Brother" has a slippery proposition in order for us
to gain access.
This is gonna be bad.
Baby oil?
We each get a bag.
Obviously, what's in the bag?
And each of us must change into the swimwear provided.
Oh no.
[laughter]
We gotta do it fast.
OK.
Everybody must participate in order
to win the hot tub privileges.
It's everybody.
OK, this is worth it, y'all.
I think everybody here wants full access to everything.
So if the spa hadn't been in plain view,
it might not have been a big deal.
But the fact that we see it every day
and we see a big cage on, it's just
something else we can't do.
Can I get a hey?
Hey.
I had no inclination of what was going to be outside.
I mean, sick, just sick.
Who would have thunk it, you know?
It's Olympic time.
What's up?
It's a dunk--
oh we're going to dive--
[interposing voices]
Before I got in, I'm thinking that is Gatorade?
What is it?
I didn't know about this part.
Is that cold?
The slime did not scare me.
The game begins with three groups of four of you, two men
and two women in each group.
When the whistle blows, the clock will start
and the first group of four will climb
into the tank, where they will completely
switch suits with each other.
[cheering]
[laughter]
Each man must exit the tank wearing a woman's bikini
of matching colors, and each woman must emerge wearing
a matching t-shirt and trunks.
That is awesome.
Blue, blue, red, red.
Once the first group of four has finished the challenge
and completely out of the tank and standing
on the finish line, the next group of four may enter.
Same with the third and final group.
I am part of the final group.
The clock will stop when all of us are at the finish line.
And we have six minutes to do it.
If we are successful, we get the hot tub, and if we are not,
we may or may not get a chance to win hot tub
privileges in the future.
Oh my gosh.
So let's do this.
[cheering]
I knew it could be done, it's just like,
if you have any decency about yourself, forget about it.
Just throw it out the window and play the game.
[whistle blowing]
[cheering]
It's kind of fun.
It's like being a kid.
You know, you go retro.
You go back and say, ew, yeah, I was in that, how disgusting,
and you giggle and you laugh.
[interposing voices]
[cheering]
When I put that bikini bottom on, I felt covered.
As soon as I started exiting, I felt
my suit just pick up every bit of slime
that it possibly could.
Oh my god.
Every step I took, I just had this extra package
bouncing underneath me.
[interposing voices]
You're at the point where you're like exposed, but like,
everyone is exposed, and we're all
kind of in the same situation, and it's just like-- it's fun.
There were no negative aspects to the slime.
I got to stand next to Jason, I got
to show my a*s on national television,
which is sort of liberating.
Oh my god.
[interposing voices]
Marcellas looked really comfortable in a bikini,
if you know what I mean.
Wait, where's my bra. I got it.
Let's go.
He starts swishing.
I'm like you gonna need some fries to go
with that shake, Marcellas?
Only person that looked good in a bikini,
of all the guys, Jason.
it caressed his little hips ever so lightly.
[inaudible] sexy, fits perfectly in my bottoms,
for god's sake.
[interposing voices]
I didn't worry too much about it, about how it would feel.
I had some questions about how it would look,
because a guy my size in a Speedo is not a pretty sight.
[interposing voices]
Gerry in a bikini looked like a gigantic marshmallow man.
[interposing voices]
It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen, actually.
I was laughing, but I probably might
have some nightmares about that in the next couple weeks.
[cheering]
Definitely there was a sense of bonding in that.
We won it together.
There wasn't anybody in the house that
didn't do their share to win that game, or that challenge,
to get that hot tub.
Does anybody want their swimsuit back?
We wanted it bad, and we I think we proved it.
[cheering]
It was fantastic.
I think I rocked maybe even later than I've been
rocking every night, you know?
[interposing voices]
The feeling.
I had when I first slipped my foot into that hot tub was,
what a reward.
I needed that hot tub last night.
Where's the bubbles coming through?
I got my jet right over here.
This first week, it's almost like an innocent week.
No one's been eliminated yet, no one's been evicted,
so it's kind of nice, all of us just enjoying this one
thing that we all worked for.
Hot tub time!
The spa last night was great.
I think it was a wonderful bonding experience.
We all were slimed together.
We all were able to enjoy our prize together.
I mean, we already got naked, so might as well talk about it.
Cheers!
[interposing voices]
In the slime.
[laughter]
We know how much babysitting costs these days.
Like, so you go to work--
Speaking with the others who have kids in the house,
a person could sit and talk about their kids
all night long if they wanted to.
Yeah, my kids are doing all right.
Yeah.
I'm very proud, you know?
All I want--
I just want so much for my kids.
I think Danielle is wonderful, and I seem to hit
it off with her really well.
All my pregnancies were so easy.
Yeah, me too.
I breezed right through them.
Never--
I didn't get sickness or anything.
Tonya, she looks great.
If you have five babies and you look like that,
you got to give it up.
And to hear her talk about her kids, it was just--
I loved it, because I'm very close with my own mom,
and so I've kind of surrounded myself with these great moms
to be that comfort and support.
I know, they like limes.
[interposing voices]
Am I having a problem?
I'm terribly tormented, but I'm tormented about so many things.
Tonya's bad hair color, I'm tormented about the lizards.
You're so stupid.
You are so on crack.
I'm tormented about how shiny I
am because of this LA humidity.
Pink is the hot color today.
Holy mackerel.
I really want Tonya gone and I really want Lori gone.
I'm not even really spending that much time with Tonya,
but every time I catch earshot of her,
it's my five kids, my divorce, blah, blah, blah.
Now my other daughter, my six-year-old,
I'm going to have some serious problems with her.
And I'm hating her outfits.
I'm hating those huge phony breasts
and the bad teeth bleaching.
The stylist in me is like, you've got to go because I
can't look at this any more.
And the same thing could be said of Lori.
Lori and that denim romper overall thing.
That was bad enough, and then she put that pink fuzzy tank
top under it.
And I was like, wow.
Those were courageous choices, but bad ones.
[snoring]
Lori has just got it wrong.
First, she's in my room and she snores.
Second, she's bringing down the real estate in that room,
because everybody else in it is cute.
Third, that snakeskin two-piece was a really bad choice.
[babbling]
It doesn't surprise me at all that Josh
is also a Scorpio, because Josh is making me crazy.
Are you on Ritalin?
I am a Scorpio and we are crazy jockeys for attention.
I think he's a phony, to be honest with you.
I think the way he came in the house,
he's used to like trying to dominate
conversation in that whole--
trying to get his way, and whatever it is,
it's like he's got a high estrogen level
running in him or something.
[laughter]
OK, my thing is, I think we should concentrate
on getting Marcellas out.
Yep.
Yeah, OK.
I originally volunteered myself in plotting
with Lisa who the other nominee is going to be,
but I took that back.
If I knew we had six votes, I would have don it,
but with five, now, with me being nominated,
put it down to four, no way.
I'm trying to work all of them so I don't
get voted out the first week.
I was nervous.
I was thinking, wait, I can't be nominated.
One, I don't want to be.
It's scare the [muted] out of me.
And I wasn't sure if somehow I'd maybe pissed Lisa off.
I don't trust Lisa.
Lisa could be totally setting me up.
I don't think Lisa likes me at all.
I don't think Lisa trusts me at all.
Josh's only fear right now is that I'm going to nominate him.
I wonder if he's going to be the second one.
Eliminated?
No, the second nomination.
I'm thinking it's me.
He is getting on everybody's nerves, and he knows it,
and he is not secure.
I think Josh is paranoid That's all I want to say.
He's driving me nuts.
He's paranoid.
[interposing voices]
That was Josh.
I get head of household, he's my first choice out of here.
If I win, I'll give you the money.
Just come home with me.
So adorable, and I just want to take him home.
Father, we just thank you for this time
that we have together.
Jason has this sensitivity about him.
He offered to help clean the bathroom.
I think he's just a dear.
I was talking to my friend, she just lost her virginity.
She's like, it really wasn't all that good.
I'm like, oh, honey, the first time never is.
First time's-- I mean, let's put it out there.
Are you still a virgin?
When Chiara asked me about being virgin,
I really didn't want to talk about it
or explain it or anything, because I really don't want
the house to know that I am a virgin, because of the fact
that, I think, right now, it's yet another thing
that singles me out.
I just played it off and just really
didn't throw it out there.
He did look at me like he was a virgin.
I don't know if he is or not.
He might be the last living virgin on the planet.
So I went through a phase where I was like the guy.
I'm just like you, as a guy, I just happen to be a girl,
I'm doing the same thing.
I'm having a good time.
It's so hard to not--
you know, probably become some of the things
that are your environment.
I think I'm ticklish, so I'll probably be like--
But Chiara knows that possibly I might be a virgin.
Does it feel good?
It does scare me because she's a little bit closer to Lisa,
and maybe my secret is not safe with Chiara.
The chairs are in the bathroom,
the chair's in the bathroom.
So we're ready to rock and roll.
Who's next?
You got some natural highlights in your hair,
don't you?
Well, they're not natural, actually.
Wait, you're getting hair cut [inaudible]??
Just a little trim.
This might be the cut that's gonna get you laid.
[interposing voices]
So what does that make you think, because of the fact
that I am? - Are you a virgin?
- I am. - You are?
Yeah.
Cleanest kid in the house.
I got it out of him!
I'm .
[interposing voices]
That's really good.
I'm like, there is no way someone that good looking
can be a freaking virgin.
So are you going to wait until you get married?
Yeah.
You are?
Good for you.
I have a very strong faith in God,
and I'm just a person that believes
in that relationship with God.
And part of that is just a commitment
that I made a long, long, long time ago to remain a virgin,
and wait until marriage.
You know, here's the thing, that I just
look at it as like, there's so much emotional baggage anyway,
in a relationship, to add that attachment to it, it's bad.
Sex is over-rated,
It is.
That's good.
I'll be glad to find that out one day for myself.
[interposing voices]
I shared enough with you.
[interposing voices]
That's why when we first got all cuddly and cozy,
I was a little nervous.
I'm not used to that.
You handled it so well.
Wanna do it again?
[interposing voices]
Everyone totally embraced it, because it is like, I think we
all wish we had that willpower.
I love it, though.
I'm loving being around you guys.
It's totally-- you know, I get such a different perspective
on that.
You know that women are going to be like this--
Jason, Jason.
I'm obsessed with him.
I like love him.
He's my new thing.
I was almost going to show him off like show and tell.
Not really back hair, right?
I'm gonna make his mom hate me.
[inaudible]
Why?
I'm kidding.
She doesn't want her little son corrupted, certainly
by any b*tch from Manhattan.
These girls are beautiful and they're
running around in these bathing suits,
but it's like everything in life.
It's kind of the choice, the decision
you make in that situation.
And so for me, I've decided I'm going to remain a virgin.
I am today and when I walk out of this house I will be.
That's just the decision that I've made for myself.
What's up?
He's concentrating.
Leave him alone.
The last living virgin on the planet.
Look how red he is.
[laughter]
He'll be like on milk people.
Yeah, on milk cartons.
Have you seen my virginity?
That would be awesome.
The alliance that I formed with Josh, I think I have
a healthy dose of skepticism.
It's too easy to fall into what feels good,
and right now it feels good to have people supporting you.
But they're going to turn in your adversaries eventually.
Amy, who thinks she's part of our alliance--
[laughter]
--has certainly been rubbing people the wrong way.
I feel as though there's stuff going on behind my back.
I trust them for right now.
I think it's good for right now.
I think so.
Keep your friends, close keep your enemies closer.
I don't think they're enemies, they're allies now.
But then again, another strategy is no permanent allies,
no permanent enemies.
My master plan has so far paid off.
One of my moles is head of household.
And as long as I don't overstep my boundaries
with Lisa, which I don't think I have, I'm in like Flynn.
Most of the time, somebody would nominate you
if you've done something that angered them
at this stage in the game, if they didn't like you,
if you've done something that maybe put them off.
And I don't think I've done anything with Lisa
yet that's put me off with her.
The idea to nominate Marcellas to be evicted
was, verbally, Josh's idea.
I had to pick someone to get out,
and I just picked the ultimate patsy of the day, Marcellas.
Do you think Marcellas has any idea what's going on?
Nope.
Don't think so.
[inaudible]
Does it matter?
I think it's in your best interest as head of household
to nominate the one person who will
not even use this at a later date to come back to haunt you.
And my personal opinion is Lori.
I tell her before?
If you tell her before, she knows you're not trying to--
her.
If you do it the way I said--
Don't tell me how to play the game.
I know how to play the game.
I'm just saying--
I'm just bringing up all the--
My whole thing is the whole reaction,
and then for him to be like, oh, it's already a set-up.
OK.
I think Lisa could turn out to be quite a handful.
So what I'll do, I'll do it your way, if that's
the way it works for you.
Let you nominate her, let her go out
about her business for an hour, and when the time is right,
I'll tell her.
We're getting rid of Marcellas.
Really?
How do we know he's going to get nominated for eviction?
Because one of the six is Lisa.
There's going to be one more, but we don't know who that.
We do.
This is why I'm out here to talk to you.
OK.
Is it me?
But who proposed me for the nomination for eviction?
Was it Lisa herself or was it someone else's suggestion?
I don't think it was Lisa, because she
didn't know who to pick.
I don't have the answer to that.
I'm telling you, I'm taking a chance
talking to you, because it wasn't the popular consensus.
You're going to be nominated. - OK.
You're not going to be voted off.
You're here to reassure me.
I'm going to swear this on my grandma
Betty's grave, on every family member,
I'm going to swear this on my religion of Judaism.
And you've heard me talk about being a Jew,
what, maybe a million times?
I'm going to swear this on my love for my girlfriend Mary.
I think you know how seriously I take my girlfriend.
I swear on this on my cat R's life.
R?
R.
Ravioli squared.
Right, right, right, right, right.
[laughter]
OK?
I really like you.
I really like you, too, Josh.
And I honestly feel that out of you.
And that's why I'm here.
And I'm the only one exposing anything,
because if this doesn't go down the exact way,
the one you're going to distrust is me.
Josh is manipulative.
He's working himself out of the eviction spot.
He will do anything not to be nominated for eviction.
He's starting to have his little one
on one conversations with different members of the house.
Did you let her know who was in the group,
or that we had the votes to protect her?
I told her we had the votes to protect her.
I swore on every family member I have,
my cat, and my girlfriend.
She took it well.
I mean, I told her, I'm telling her because I like her.
I had the wonderful opportunity of hearing
the backstabbing going on.
And then she's like, how do I know
that Lisa's going to do that?
I was like, if she doesn't, you're fine, and if she does,
she'll lose all trust.
No one will trust her.
If she doesn't do exactly what we're saying,
she just shoots herself in the foot.
I was kind of wishy-washy on Josh
before I overheard his conversation
in the storage room.
You're right.
Because then you got six potential people
to be head of the households who can put her on the block.
Between me, you, Roddy, I think it's
definitely me, you, and Eric.
If I can form a strong alliance with you.
My whole strategy has changed.
He's just a snake, so he's going to get
his own snake poison back.
I need everybody in the living room.
I need you in the living room, nice and wet and towel-free.
We're moving towards the ceremony,
and you can feel it in the house.
Voting box.
Oh, yeah, here we go.
When the nomination box came out,
I sensed nomination jitters left and right.
Everybody is worried.
Before you is the "Big Brother" nomination box,
and one of my duties as the first head of household
is to nominate two people of our great group for eviction.
I have to admit, that damn box made me so nervous,
I was staring at Lisa try to catch something off her,
but the box makes me so nervous that it
takes away from my observation.
In a few hours, I'm going to go over to the memory wall
and gather all the keys of the remaining houseguests.
I will place the keys of the houseguests
that I am not nominating into the box.
We will gather on the dining room table, where I pull out
the first key and reveal the name of the person
who is not nominated.
This person, this houseguest is safe from eviction.
They will place their key around their neck
and they will pull out the next key.
Seeing the nomination box for the first time
made my stomach churn, like, let me think, about four times.
When all of the keys have been pulled,
the two houseguests without a key
are the ones nominated for this eviction.
Later in the week, one of these two nominees
can be evicted from the house.
Seeing the nomination box basically
reiterated to everybody that hey, it's a game,
and once a week someone's leaving.
So it's head of household that nominates two of us.
And there's nothing you can do.
Someone's going to have to go, you know?
Just stop overthinking everything.
Yeah, I'm done.
I am.
Today's been fairly difficult on me because of the decision
that I have to make today.
Somebody has to go.
I like everybody.
That's the deal.
Like, I like everybody, I'm having fun.
I will go over to the memory wall
and gather the keys of all the houseguests.
I'm going to have a difficult time tonight,
nominating who I nominate, having this person
verbally know that I was like--
you're up to be out.
I will place the keys of the houseguests
that I am not nominating into this device.
Guys, I need everybody around the dining room table, please.
Dining room table, please.
OK, guys, this is the first nomination ceremony,
and there has to be a first bad guy.
And it's been a fun couple of days.
But the game has to start.
And with that, I think we need to start the game.
Danielle, you are safe.
Gerry, you are safe.
Tonya, you are safe.
Chiara, you are safe.
Roddy, you are safe.
Jason, you are safe.
Eric, you are safe.
[laughter]
Joshua, you are--
Amy.
Who's Amy?
[laughter]
Marcellas, you are a marked man.
[laughter]
Hey, guys, as head of household
I had to have two nominees.
My choice was Marcellas and it was Lori.
Marcellas, I have chosen you because although I feel
I've made a connection with you, and I
feel as though we've gotten along,
I don't feel like you've made a strong effort
to be comfortable with everybody as a group.
OK.
Lori, I have nominated you.
I believe that you have made your effort
to become comfortable with everybody except for me.
Very well.
And those are my names and those are my decisions,
and with that, the meeting is over.
It's an emotional thing.
It's hard to prepare for something that you
know just might k*ll you.
But it makes you stronger if you handle it right.
The ball that I did start rolling did roll right the way
I wanted it to.
I have to admit I'm very, very happy right now.
Marcellas is very much still in the game.
Watch and see.
