from the "Big Brother" house.

NARRATOR: And then, there were four.

You have lasted days, weeks, and even months cut

off from the rest of the world.

NARRATOR: There are just two weeks left.

Only two more already.

NARRATOR: Only one can win it all.

This is something I want.

You don't understand.

NARRATOR: Last Thursday, Monica outlasted her housemates.

She won head of household for the first time.

I want to right some wrongs in here.

I have a new best friend in the house.

Hello!

It's Monica.

NARRATOR: Monica nominated Hardy.

I nominate you, Hardy.

NARRATOR: And she nominated Nichole.

I nominated you, Nichole.

You are a threat.

I have to break the power.

You understand?

NARRATOR: But power is now in Will's hands.

I will be the one vote this week.

Think about the ramifications of that.

Oh my god.

I hate them both.

So, to me, this is the greatest thing that could happen.

NARRATOR: America chose to put a little chill in the house.

Oh, snow?

I can't freakin' believe it.

This is great!

NARRATOR: And the house guests got some surprise visitors.

Ring the doorbell.

Are you guys ready?

NARRATOR: They have some advice about surviving

the final weeks.

When it gets down to the final three,

if you guys are clawing each other's eyes out for it,

I don't blame you.

So it's just a game.

But damn it, play it hard.

NARRATOR: Hardy says he's not going to fight his friend.

I'm not going to say anything that would make me more

likely to stay here, because that would

mean that Nicole has to leave.

NARRATOR: Nicole's not going home without a fight.

The week that Will's going to have with me,

I would guess that he would vote me out.

NARRATOR: But in the end, it's Will's fight to call.

You know what I think would be hilarious?

If I sent Nicole out.

All of a sudden, Hardy would be back in the house.

I couldn't care less with those two at me.

So I might just do that.

NARRATOR: "Big Brother" begins now.

[music playing]

JULIE: Good evening and welcome to "Big Brother."

It's Day in the game.

We're exactly two weeks away from crowning a winner.

There are now just four house guests.

Last Thursday, Monica outlasted her housemates

to become head of household for the very first time.

Our two nominees for eviction?

Hardy, the bouncer from York, Pennsylvania, and Nicole,

the personal chef from Atlanta.

Hardy and Nicole's fate in the "Big Brother"

house now lies with Will.

He is the sole house guest eligible to vote tonight.

In the next hour, Will must decide--

evict Hardy or evict Nicole?

The two are powerful allies.

Together, Hardy and Nicole have set

the tone of the house, reigning as head of household three

weeks running, doling out the nominations

and dictating the outcome of the last three evictions.

But Hardy and Nicole no longer hold their own destiny.

Monica broke up their power of two

by winning this week's head of household.

Now, they find themselves in a most precarious position,

at the mercy of Will.

I think the only thing that could be bad right now

for us is if Monica gets HOH.

Because she's either going to put up me and Will,

or quite possibly, me and you.

I nominate you, Nicole.

I nominate you, Hardy.

You saw me as power, and I see you as power at this point.

It felt good to let them know that they are human,

and that a lot of other folk, who are not here,

sat in those same chairs and had those same emotions.

Ironically, Will is safe.

Right?

You're safe, right?

It is very ironic.

It's me and Hardy in the hot seat and Will is the voter.

I'm honestly indifferent about it.

So am I.

If you're not indifferent about it,

I can make it so he'll make me leave.

I'm not going to do anything to sway or unduly

influence any decision by Will.

And I would suggest that you do the same.

Nicole wants to stay, of course, because she wants

to Will back and the money.

I don't ever want you to think that I would sell you out.

Because I will never, would never.

Hardy wants to stay because he wants to get Will back,

and he wants to win.

I'm fine with leaving.

If I stay, I'm going to kick Will's a*s.

Honestly.

Not at all.

All right.

I am.

You're guilt tripping him?

They're not so innocent themselves, and he deserved--

Will deserves to feel powerful right now.

I'm not going to make any decision

without running it by you.

Just trust me.

I think it's important that I lie to Nicole this week,

because I want to see her stab Hardy

in the back one last time.

She was ultimately responsible for the dismissal

of every single house guest.

In essence, she'll give him the death blow.

Whatever you want, I owe it to you at this point.

And that's % reasonable with me.

Well, how do you think Shanon would feel

if you didn't vote Hardy out?

It's very obvious to me that she wants Hardy to leave,

and she wants to stay.

She clearly is back stabbing him very subtly and very slowly.

She's told me she wanted to stay repeatedly.

And that is at Hardy's expense.

If I want HOH, I'm obviously sending Monica out.

I mean, don't get me wrong.

I'm telling you I want you there, because I like you.

But for statistical, money reasons too.

I would like to see her, at least one more time, stab

Hardy in the back and admit to me that she will do that.

Nicole, I need a haircut.

I don't feel like cutting your hair till Friday.

You seriously aren't going to give me a haircut

unless I vote to keep you?

That's a half million dollar haircut.

The advantages of keeping Nicole in the house

is that, one, I'll get cooked meals every night,

and I won't have to cook any.

When Shannon left, I promised I would take care of Hardy.

I will do that at some point.

But the question is, should I go ahead and cut the fat

off the steak really quickly today

and then worry about it later?

This decision, you know, is about love.

It's about money.

And for me, this is one of the biggest decisions

ever make in my life.

I'm not yelling.

This is my speaking voice.

Come on. Calm down.

Really.

You're scaring me.

I live here. That's it.

You're gone.

If someone was to ask me this very second

as to who I would vote out, I would have to choose Nicole.

She's been bossing me around all day,

and Hardy has been a fun guy today.

He played basketball with me.

We played some backgammon.

He cooked me breakfast.

He understands the deal.

So what's your game plan for the end?

I mean, I can't beat either Nicole or Monica

or you in the finals.

So if I was in the final two, I would

just probably say something funny and be like, I'm out!

Wow.

This isn't charity.

Like I'm not going through all this [muted] for somebody else.

I'm going through this [muted] for me.

So I'm putting my best foot forward to try to win.

I've prayed for folk in here.

Forgive them.

They know not what they do.

The only regret I have is that I can't evict them both.

JULIE: Monica went from lying low to flying

high when she surprised her housemates

and one head of household.

The candy store manager from Brooklyn

picked a good time to win it.

With just two weeks to go in the game,

she saved herself from potential eviction,

at the same time ensuring the breakup of Hardy and Nicole.

The seemingly quiet observer has become a serious contender

to win it all.

I definitely remember my first night meeting Manya.

Let's go.

Quick, quick, quick!

[inaudible] Where?

She just seemed immediately to me as someone

who was very strong willed.

[inaudible]

And not afraid to speak her mind.

If you bad enough to talk about it

in your little corners, talk to me.

Monica's strategy has pretty much been

the under the radar strategy.

She pretty much minds her own business,

doesn't make alliances with anyone,

and tries not to step on anyone's foot.

The smartest thing I did here was not talking too much,

sitting back, and listening and observing.

That's pretty much, I think, what's carried her this far.

Because a lot of the people who are really outspoken--

You're already out here smoking.

This is not all my fault prim princess, sweetheart.

It is, sweetheart.

No, it is not.

We're the ones that seem to go more quickly.

When I won the music competition, the CD,

that was the first thing I have won.

Since I've been in the house, I hadn't won a HOH yet.

So winning that music competition

was the beginning for me.

She really enjoys herself.

And she listens to the music, and lets herself go.

And, you know, it takes her away from here.

[inaudible]

Manya took years of dance.

I mean, she was a dancer.

Just watching somebody being able to move like that

is so cool.

Oh, god.

When Crystal left, I said, the only reason why I'm here,

I know why I'm here, is because they don't think I can win HOH.

They don't think I can win.

I did underestimate Monica, and I didn't think that she

was going to win a HOH.

The night I won HOH my life changed in this house, forever

to the bitter end.

Can I let go?

If anything, I have the utmost respect for Monica.

If she would have nominated anyone

else other than Nicole and myself,

she would have been very foolish.

Moving into the final three, I think, Monica has

become a voracious competitor.

I don't nothing to help me.

This is something I want.

If my life in the "Big Brother" house was a movie,

it will be titled "How Monica Got Her Groove Back."

JULIE: Tonight is eviction night.

Of the four house guests who remain,

the nominees, Nicole and Hardy, are not permitted to vote.

Nor is Monica as head of household.

That means Will casts the sole vote to evict.

And he will do so live.

Anxiously awaiting the vote in our studio's

green room, on the right, Hardy's grandmother,

Esther, and his brother, Brady, both from York, Pennsylvania.

And on the left, Nicole's husband

Jeff from Atlanta, Georgia.

One family will be reunited later tonight.

The other will be returning home to cheer on their loved

one still in the game.

But before we see Will cast his eviction vote live,

let's go into the diary room as he shares what's on his mind

regarding the two nominees.

First, Nicole.

Right now, it's wide open.

I'm not sure if I'm going evict Hardy or Nicole.

Nicole has a lot of positive qualities,

and I can admit that.

She really is a very caring person.

But as far as my feelings toward her,

you know, they're very shallow, they're very negative,

and they barely even exist.

If she was to leave, I wouldn't miss her.

JULIE: Welcome back to "Big Brother."

It's Nicole's second time in the red nomination

chair, Hardy's first.

They're sitting there among their housemates, Monica

and Will.

Let's talk to the house guests now.

Hi, house guests!

Hi, Julie! JULIE: You guys are singing.

What are you guys singing?

We're not allowed to talk about that.

JULIE: It sounded like "Cheap Trick" to me.

Yes!

JULIE: Oh, you do, do you?

JULIE: Well, you guys had some surprise visitors

this past week who happen to know

a thing or two about surviving a game like this.

What did that do for you guys?

It took $ grand out of our pockets, I can tell you that.

JULIE: You don't think they won it fair and square?

- They did. - We had a late whistle.

No, they threw our letters in the pool.

Yeah. That wasn't fair.

That Jeff guy, he's got it coming to him.

I want to review the tapes.

JULIE: What did it do for your spirits?

It lifted them for hours.

It helped a lot.

It was nice to see new people for a change.

Definitely.

And it scared us, because we weren't sure

if they were allowed in or not.

We were going to have to fight them back and push

them back through the door.

And they gave us some really great advice.

And I really appreciate having them here.

JULIE: Good, I'm glad to hear that.

Monica?

Yes, ma'am.

JULIE: There are just two weeks left in the game.

And after tonight, just two people

standing in the way of each of you and a half million dollars.

How do you feel about that?

Wonderful, great, and fantastic.

Three weeks ago, when Krystal was evicted,

I said to her that I'm too weak to make my own decision.

I had to vote with the group.

And this week, I am the group.

So it gives me a new perspective, and I like it.

JULIE: I'm sure you do.

Hardy and Nicole?

Yes?

JULIE: The live eviction vote is just minutes away.

What you say right now could change Will's mind.

Doubt it.

JULIE: Well, Nicole, I'm going to start with you.

What would you like to tell him?

I'm not going to address Will.

I'm going to address everybody else.

Here I go crying already.

Let's try not to do this.

It's really a win-loss situation.

If I leave, I walk out into the arms

of the most wonderful husband in the world,

and the support of great family and friends

in Atlanta at O'Shaughnessy's Pub and Central City Tavern.

and one of the most wonderful people I've ever gotten

to know in my entire life.

Let's go back to the diary room to hear

what Will had to say about the second of two nominees, Hardy.

As it stands right now, I have mixed emotions about Hardy.

I hold him fully responsible, singlehandedly,

for the eviction of Shannon.

By the same token, there's not many people left in the house,

and he is one of my good friends here.

He's a lot of fun.

We have a good time together.

We play a lot of basketball together.

We work out.

So I'm sort of torn.

Do I avenge my girlfriend, or do I

let bygones be bygones, bury the hatchet and keep him around?

JULIE: Welcome back to "Big Brother."

Hardy and Nicole became fast friends their first few weeks

in the house.

They bonded early and often, sharing strategy and secrets.

As the numbers dwindled, the dynamics in the house changed.

But one thing has remained the same.

Hardy and Nicole have stayed loyal allies,

each with one common goal--

to be standing next to the other in the end.

But with both nominated for eviction, one thing's for sure.

That plan is not going to happen.

I'm sorry that I messed it up, Russ.

I love you like a brother.

You know I do.

It's the first time I've ever been nominated for eviction.

And unfortunately, I'm put up against Nicole,

who is my right hand.

I can't imagine this house without Hardy.

I really feel like, if Hardy's not here,

the house is actually just going to fall like a deck of cards.

The first night, I thought that she gave

a really bad first impression.

Who snores?

Do you snore, Hardy?

Not that I'm aware of.

Good.

I swear to God I'll k*ll somebody.

I thought she was a b*tch on wheels.

My first impression of Hardy was, eye candy.

I was like, you know, dude, come on.

You live to lift and bang chicks or something, probably.

You know?

On the second or third day of our time here in the house,

Hardy and Nicole sort of began bonding.

I really appreciate the people that I've

been able to get to know, even a little bit in here.

Especially you, because you're such a really amazing guy.

Thank you.

I learned his love and respect for people is huge.

As the days progressed, I started giving

him his deep tissue massages.

I love how you're grabbing to the whole thing, this.

And we had talks and talks then, of course,

when I did that stuff.

And we just became very much like a brother and sister.

Don't be saying [inaudible].

Oh, my god!

We are the epitome of a brother sister relationship,

you know?

I'm going to fall.

I don't care there.

Sometimes, we want to beat [inaudible] out of each other.

And other times, all we can do is just hug each other

and laugh.

She's cheating!

And we have that trust.

The friendship that Hardy and Nicole have I think is genuine.

She likes to nurture people.

You know, just like you said yesterday,

being able to walk out of here with your head held high.

She likes to do things for others.

And she never asks for anything in return.

She cleans up after everybody.

She cooks for everybody.

She really runs the house.

She tells everyone when to cook and clean.

And if you don't do what she wants,

then she pretty much has Hardy evict you.

We're running this house.

And I don't mean to sound conceited,

but we're the only power in this house.

As soon as we get comfortable, we'll go wrong.

Then I'll be comfortable.

That'll be fun.

Nicole then Hardy was once a powerful force in this house.

However, bing!

When I rang that little bell, the power was over.

They looked at each other in the face, and they said,

what have we done?

We no longer have any power in this house.

If they were such good friends,

then someone would sacrifice themself

for the other, much in the same way

that Shannon sacrificed herself for me.

And that hasn't happened.

So I question their friendship.

I'm really having a hard time with Hardy and I being split up

and one of us having to stay here.

Life in the "Big Brother" house without Nicole,

it's not a very pleasant thought.

JULIE: It's Monica's first time as head of household.

She's sitting alone in her private room on her last night,

as this week's HOH.

Let's talk to her now.

Hi Monica.

Hi.

JULIE: Now just a reminder, the other

guests cannot hear our conversation,

so you can speak candidly, OK?

JULIE: Do you have any regrets about nominating

Hardy and Nicole?

No, I don't have any regrets about nominating

Nicole nor Hardy.

JULIE: Why?

Because they are power numbers,

and they made it very clear they wanted to be

the first and second place.

And so I had to break up the power.

So no, I don't have any regrets, because this is a game.

It's not personal.

JULIE: Is that why you chose to keep Will in the house

another week?

I mean, in the beginning, you wanted to get chilltown out.

Exactly.

And it was a strategy.

And now they used him for a strategy,

I used him for a strategy.

It worked.

JULIE: Do you have an opinion as to who you would like to see

stay and who you would like to see go,

between Nicole and Hardy?

At this point, it doesn't matter.

Either one can go, because both of them are a threat.

But it's only power in two.

So one, they have to work by themselves.

So they're on their own.

JULIE: But personally, do you have an opinion

who would you rather live in a house

with for another week or so?

Personally, no.

Not at all.

in the end?

Oh, I'd like to see myself standing next to Will

That's because Will is from chilltown.

And Will played a really strategic and--

Right now, the house guests are together in the living room.

Sitting on the red chairs are Hardy and Nicole.

In the next few minutes, Will will cast tonight's one

and only eviction vote.

He now holds their fate in his hands.

House guests, the moment of truth is finally here.

Will, please go to the diary room now.

It's no secret Will has strong feelings

about Hardy and Nicole.

He's vowed to avenge the eviction

of his girlfriend, Shannon, by voting

out Hardy, who nominated her.

But this week, the tension has been building

between Will and Nicole.

Hey, Will, how are you doing tonight?

Good, how are you?

JULIE: You look like you're in a great mood.

I'm in a good mood.

JULIE: Well, have you made up your mind?

There's a lot of things that I had to deliberate, Julie.

And what it came down to, you know, there's a lot of factors.

Hardy is an excellent competitor,

but I do hold him responsible for the eviction of Shannon.

Nicole, has had a lot of personal problems lately.

And in many ways, I think it would

be best if I send her off. JULIE: Don't tell me the vote.

I have to cut in here.

Don't tell me the vote yet, but continue telling me

what you were saying. - Absolutely.

Nicole's had a lot of personal problems lately,

and I feel that, in many ways, it

would help if I sent her home.

So needless to say, I factored in a lot of things,

and I did come to a decision.

JULIE: OK.

Well, without telling me your decision,

what was the most critical factor in making up your mind?

Was it strategy?

Was it a matter of who you could see yourself living

with for another week or so?

You know, even that is difficult to say.

I think that once I give you the name, you'll understand.

Ultimately, what it came down to,

it was just so many different factors.

I've been here weeks.

I've been with these people almost days,

and I know them more intimately than even

their spouses know them.

So I had to factor all these things in, you know,

and it came clear to me just a few minutes ago.

JULIE: Aha.

Well, Will, since you're the one and only vote tonight,

I'm going to give you a choice.

OK.

JULIE: Now, you can cast it right here now

in the diary room, and I'll reveal it to the others

in the traditional way.

Or you can go out right now and do

it directly to your housemates, where

you can speak for yourself.

It's up to you.

Which would you like to do?

I have nothing to hide.

I'd like to speak to them in person.

JULIE: All right.

Hardy, Nicole, this week I had to make the decision.

It was not an easy decision to make.

JULIE: Hold on a second, Will.

I had to factor in a lot of things.

JULIE: Will?

Think a lot of things out.

I don't know how much you heard Will say,

but Will has obviously chosen to cast his eviction

vote directly to you all.

Now Will, please cast your vote to evict.

Like I was saying, this was very difficult for me.

It was not as easy as you would originally think.

I had to factor in a lot of different things.

Hardy, you are an amazing competitor.

You've won more head of households than anyone else.

And I really respect you for that.

Unfortunately, I do hold you responsible for the infliction

of Shannon.

Nicole, it's no secret lately that it's been very

difficult for you in the house.

And in many ways, I think that if I

sent you home to your husband, that would be a blessing.

Taking all of these things into consideration--

and I spent a lot of time doing this, it was very difficult--

I finally decided to evict Hardy.

No problem.

JULIE: I need to cut in here and make it official.

Hardy, you are now officially evicted

from the "Big Brother" house.

I feel very fortunate to be sitting where I'm

sitting this far in the game.

And, you know, things happen for a reason.

It was unfortunate what happened last week

in the HOH competition, but--

JULIE: Yeah, I want to ask you about that.

Were you mad at Nicole for not winning the HOH competition?

Oh, absolutely not.

You know?

Nicole, at that point in time, was

going through some extraordinary circumstances that

existed outside of the game.

And I knew that that was a concern for her.

And I told her point blank.

I said, if you feel it necessary, you stop right now,

and walk away.

And, you know, my main concern is her well being.

And she didn't win, and that's OK.

She did her best, and I believe that,

and that's all that matters to me.

JULIE: How do you feel about the fact

that Will is still in the house, in the game, and you're not?

Well I made a critical error in my judgment

when I had an opportunity to evict Will.

I believed the word of a snake, and the snake bit me.

And I had to evict one of my very, very good friends,

and somebody that I duly looked up to and admire a lot.

But, you know, life goes on.

The world will turn.

JULIE: If you could change anything

you did in the house or any experience, what would that be?

It would probably would have been to evict Will,

obviously, since he evicted me.

But you know everything, happens for a reason.

JULIE: At what point did you realize

you shouldn't trust this guy?

I mean, he's told you and Nicole, time and time again,

don't trust me, don't trust me.

He's never actually told me that personally.

But I mean, he and I kind of became somewhat friends,

I thought.

And a lot of things happened.

And we had some good times, and he gave me his word

and shook my hand many times.

And I believed him, and I shouldn't have believed him.

So it just goes to show you what a handshake can do.

JULIE: Well, Hardy, we asked your housemates

to each record a message to you in the event

that you were the one evicted tonight.

Hardy, I know we butted heads a lot of times

here in the house over the last couple of weeks.

You're an excellent competitor.

You've really gone very far in this house.

And, you know, I appreciate who you are.

What's your reaction to what you just heard and saw?

Well, you know, it means a lot to me that they

hold me in high regard.

You know?

It hopefully speaks highly of my character, and my upbringing,

and just me as a person.

You know, I'm glad that they felt the way they feel.

JULIE: How do you think Nicole is going to get

by without you in the house?

Nicole is a very, very strong person.

And she has definitely helped me through some very,

very difficult times.

And I believe that I have helped her as well.

But she's a strong person as an individual.

And I'm sure she'll do extraordinarily well,

and I look forward to watching it.

JULIE: Why so emotional right now?

What's going through your mind?

Well, it's just so many things, you know?

I mean, it's been a long, long journey.

And a lot of times, I just wanted to leave,

and I know I couldn't.

But I'm just so looking forward to being

with my family and friends and the people that love me.

JULIE: Has the experience in the house changed you at all?

Yeah, absolutely.

I've learned so much from from everybody else, you know?

Especially the bungster, somebody that I didn't think I

could learn anybody from.

But he really taught me about how to be a better person,

and tolerance, and patience.

And thinking before you speak and act.

JULIE: That's nice to hear.

Along with many other people.

But cumulatively, yeah, I definitely did learn a lot.

I took a lot away from it.

JULIE: Who do you think is going to go on to win this game?

My girl, Nicole, of course.

JULIE: I know you want her to win.

But do you think she actually will make it?

I don't doubt it for a second.
