01x12 - Tracy's Tree

one bright summer afternoon JJ was on

his way back to Tarrytown ill-afford

after making his last delivery of the

day home and play some ball with Tracy

JJ zoomed in for a landing but no sooner

had he hit the runway when Sonny I guess

so

Tracy why did you get in my way while I

was making my landing I had to I was

afraid if I didn't you'd run over my new

friend

where I don't see anybody

this isn't and anybody this is a

little baby tree see what's it doing

here in the middle of a runway maybe it

didn't know this was an airport it

probably saw lots of wide-open

space and sunshine and thought what a

nice friendly place

I think I'll grow up here and now

because it is here I can take care of it

it can be my baby tree

[Music]

there is that think line is lovely to

see popping right up from under the

ground with planes all around a baby

tree how does he know just exactly where

he wants to grow

believe he was waiting for me so he

could be my baby tree

he's gonna change leaves and branches

will I'll rearrange every part of him

will reach for the sky as high as I fly

that's how tall he will be still he will

be my baby tree my baby tree

I'm glad I found ficus before someone

landed on it now I can make sure it

grows up to be a big strong tree nut but

ficus can't grow up here how can we take

off and land with a big strong tree in

the middle of our runway I don't know

but we have to let flaccus grow when a

tree wants to grow you have to let it

grow but Tracy how can we JJ it has to

grow here it's already started and we

can't stop it

well this was a problem indeed JJ knew

that Tracy was right but Tracy knew that

JJ was right - boy I guess you sure

picked a funny place to grow you'll be

that little tidy tree this is my friend

Vikas it's growing in the middle of the

runway

it could only be this was definitely bad

news Savannah was returning home from a

long trip she was going to want to lay

her key knew he had a tough job to do

because once Savannah got up to speed

getting her to stop wasn't easy

[Music]

Savannah just missed it pack you down

him why did you do that

you know I go so fast that I just can't

stop quickly so I reach the bladder but

Tracy wanted me to tell you that you

can't laugh right now there's a baby

tree growing up the runway and she

doesn't want it to get hurt

oh good heavens course I won't disturb

that darling little sapling I'll just

find someone else to land

I still think we have to do something

about this I mean we need a runway to

land on and take off from hey I know

what we can do what we can build a new

runway Oh

nice idea Tracy but maybe we should

think about this some more

jj-just what they didn't need now Big

Jake was coming in for a landing

big Jake's wings were tired because he

was carrying a very heavy cargo he was

looking forward to way

you and I will have taxi there to find

her her key you stay here and watch JJ

and Tracy taxi through the town square

looking all over for Brenda blue as luck

would have it

Brenda was just leaving the tarry town

hardware store certainly have all the

answers when it comes to gardening mrs.

Beatty and now I know exactly what type

to put my new plant in thanks a lot you

are very welcome Brenda man our solution

yes mrs. Beatty what is it why don't you

just move the baby tree we can do that

but I always thought that plants and

trees grow where they grow and that's

not necessarily see plants don't

understand that sometimes they're

growing in the wrong place there might

be too little light or too much water or

things like that so to keep them healthy

and happy we just have to move them we

call that transplanting

you know I'd be happy to help I know all

about how to do it well if we're going

to transplant that baby tree we'd better

hurry so Big Jake and Lance let's go

ah there we go look at that now that

should do it

thanks mister speedy I don't know what

we would have done without your help

well you know we need all the trees we

can get in this world and it always

makes me feel good to be able to save

one

we better get off the runway so Big Jake

and Lance

oh cool yeah you can say that again

oh now that the emergency is over we can

enjoy the fun part

what's that well we've got to find some

place to plant this baby tree someplace

where it'll get lots of light water and

a nice cool breeze Wow I know just the

place

meadow you you're gonna grow up to

be big and strong and we're gonna visit

you all the time yeah and someday we'll

have a picnic right underneath your

shady branches missus be nice thanks for

showing us how to save our tree you're

welcome Tracy come on now let's go

yes the baby tree was planted in

Tarrytown meadow which was a perfect

home for it just as Tracy had said it

would be

Tracy visited ficus every day and the

little tree did indeed grow up to be big

and strong
