the latest addition to the museum.

We-- I mean, I didn't recognize it.

This throne belonged
to Duke Ellington in the 1400s. [chuckles]

Yeah. Or maybe
it was the Duke of Ellington?

Something like that.

Anyway, I got it
for a steal of a great price.

The key is to have a keen eye.

Mr. Peabody, hi.

Mr. Peabody, I thought we agreed

you'd let us know
whenever the museum got a new artifact.

We inspect everything
before it comes inside the museum.

-That way if there's anything wrong--

It's a perfectly sturdy throne. Look!

[snickers]

[clears throat]

Uh-huh. I recognize these holes.

Oh, they're over here too.

-Termites!
-Termites!

[yells]

I mean… Well,
I'll leave you Joneses to it.

Of course! That explains
why things have been breaking.

[sighs] Termites could mean
serious trouble for the exhibits.

Especially the ones made of wood.

Those little critters could destroy
the whole museum.

We have to contain this!

There's no need to panic.
We're here to make sure you all stay safe.

We'll get rid of the termites
exhibit by exhibit.

But until they're gone,
you'll have to stay in your own homes,

so they don't spread.

That means no visiting
other exhibits in the museum.

We're on a lockdown.

A what now?

I'm gonna need to stampede.

Because the termites
are already in the rotunda,

everyone who's normally here
will have to relocate while we clean.

Wait. Is it really, like, that bad?

[thuds]

Oh, yeah. That bad. Gotcha.

Some exhibits are more vulnerable
than others,

like the older exhibits
and the ones made of wood.

So everyone needs to stay put
to keep the termites from spreading.

Rids, can Grandma and I count on the Eyes
to keep everyone safe while we clean?

-Definitely!

[adventurous music playing]

[sighs] Everyone is safe and sound.

We just have to figure out
where we'll stay.

You mean we have to do this too?

Well, yeah. Everyone in the rotunda
has to clear out.

But we're the Eyes Team.

I know, but rules are rules,

and there's no special treatment
when it comes to museum safety.

Fred, why don't you go stay
in the Egypt exhibit with Ismat.

Dante, join Peaches in the space exhibit.

Dudley, what do you say?
Can the butterflies stay with you?

Hmm, I guess having roommates
would make my exhibit less lonely.

There we go. We're ready to quarantine.

Everything will be back to normal
before you know it.

For now, just try to stay calm.

Getting everyone to a safe exhibit
was not easy.

the security footage from all our exhibits

so we can still… [groans]
…still talk while we're separated.

Ridley! [laughs] This whole lockdown
thing is not a good look.

I can't get my beauty rest,
or any kind of rest.

And the butterflies
won't even give me flying lessons.

Can we move around the museum?

Mama and Grandma gave us all
pretty strict instructions.

Are you sure? I'm goin' bananas in here.

We'll be totally super duper safe
about it. Mummy's honor.

If it's just you for a little while,
I guess that would be okay.

Everyone, museum meeting.

Hi, Grandma. Hi, Mama. How'd it go?

Well, we were gonna announce
that the lockdown was over.

That's great!

Except we discovered
a recontamination this morning.

Someone spread the termites.

Oh.

No one left their exhibit, did they?

[sighs] It's my fault.

It's our fault.

We may have broken
the rules a little bit. [chuckles]

Me and Ma did too.

I transgressed thine decree as well.

It's too hard to stay cooped up.

I went to go see Pierce and Flo,

but I had a really good reason.

The butterflies just don't get me
like the eagles do, you know.

It's a bird thing.

I just stepped out for some fresh bananas.

All mine were turning browner
than a hog in a mud bath.

And I just wanted some time away
from all the drumming.

The really good drumming,
but loud. So loud!

How much longer?

I ain't a'feared of no termites!

-Plus I'm made of plastic, not wood!
-Forsooth!

Everybody, stop!

I messed up, and I'm sorry.

The Eyes Team and I should have
set a good example and stayed put.

I get it now.

Even one little action
can affect all of us.

to take care of one another.

Staying locked inside is really tough.

But we're one big community,

and we have to protect
our older and more fragile exhibits.

That's what being a protector
is all about.

is a fierce adventuring look.

but it's getting kind of bumpy!

It looks like it's been here a long time.

and Grandma were in charge.

If it made us feel welcome,
maybe it'll do the same for them!

that dance was special to them,

special to their Island culture.

But that's why we thought
it'd be a nice thing to do.

Isn't it good to share that kind of thing?

Sometimes it is good,

but other times it's not okay
to change things that aren't yours.

Oh. I guess I didn't know that.

Well then, how do you know when it's okay,
and when it isn't?

In this case,
Pip and Perry's dance is special

because not many people know it,
and it's unique to them.

It's a part of their history.
