A troop is a group of gorillas

that live together like a family.

The daddy gorilla's the biggest one

He's called a silverback gorilla.

He sounds large and in charge.

silverback gorillas are also very strong.

And they have thumbs, just like us!

I saw a gorilla on TV once.

He was using a rock to break open a coconut.

Gorillas must be pretty smart!

Yup. And they're very gentle and shy.
