Dance to the rhythm of music

ALL: Wiggle and learn

Let's have some

Let's have some

Let's have some fun

The hornpipe was invented
by the British Navy

to keep the sailors fit at sea.

We're going to dance
a hornpipe, and we

want you to dance with us.

Here we go.

Off to the seven seas
for a wonderful hornpipe.

["A SAILOR WENT TO
SEA/HORNPIPE" PLAYING]

[SINGING] A sailor
went to sea, sea, sea

To see what he
could see, see, see

All that he could see, see, see

Was the bottom of the
deep blue sea, sea, sea

A sailor went to
chop, chop, chop

To see what he could
chop, chop, chop

And all that he could
chop, chop, chop

Was the bottom of the
deep blue chop, chop, chop

A sailor went to
knee, knee, knee

To see what he could
knee, knee, knee

And all that he could
knee, knee, knee

Was the bottom of the
deep blue knee, knee, knee

A sailor went
to sea, chop, knee

To see what he could
see, chop, knee

And all that he
could see, chop, knee

Was the bottom of the
deep blue sea, chop, knee

Bottom of the deep
blue sea, chop, knee

ALL: Hey!

Hey!

Hey!

Hey!

Hey!

Hey!

[applause]

Ahem.

Ahem.

[snaps fingers]

[plays a cheerful melody]

[applause]

Ahem.

Ahem.

[snaps fingers]

[resumes the melody]

[misses notes]

[finishes the melody]

[applause]

This is a song with a story.

It's a story about
a handsome prince.

Oh.

Here's the handsome prince now.

Greetings, fair dinosaur.

Greetings to you, kind sir.

The prince sees a beautiful
lady whose hair is tied

up with a black velvet band.

He loses sight of her
and searches everywhere

to find her once again.

Finally, he finds his
true love, and they

live happily ever after.

[sighs]

Once there was
a handsome prince

named Michael, who spied
a maiden fair from afar.

["black velvet band" playing]

[SINGING] Her eyes,
they shine like diamonds

I think her the
queen of the land

Her hair hangs over her shoulder

Tied up in a black velvet band

CAPTAIN FEATHERSWORD:
He lost sight

of the maiden in the crowd
but was desperate to find her.

He asked the butcher,
who was nearby.

Kind butcher, have you
seen a beautiful maiden?

[SINGING] Did her eyes,
they shine like diamonds?

Did she look like the
queen of the land?

Was her hair hung
over her shoulder

Tied up with a
black velvet band?

Yes, that's her.

Which way did she go?

The butcher pointed the
prince in the right direction

and bid him farewell.

[SINGING] Farewell,
my good prince

I must attend my mince

My sausages and chops as well

For all these items I must sell

Farewell, my good prince

I must attend my mince

My sausages and chops as well

For all these items, I must sell

["shave and a haircut" jingle]

Nice chops!

The prince continued
on his search

and came upon a cycle maker.

He asked the cycle
maker if he had seen

a beautiful maiden pass by.

Have you seen a
beautiful maid pass by?

[SINGING] Did her eyes,
they shine like diamonds?

Did she look like the
queen of the land?

Did her hair hang
over her shoulders

Tied up with a
black velvet band?

Yes, that's her.

Which way did she go?

The cycle maker pointed the
prince in the right direction

and bid him farewell.

[SINGING] Farewell,
good Prince Michael

For I must build this cycle

It needs a seat and bell as well

For this cycle I must sell

Farewell, good Prince Michael

For I must build this cycle

It needs a seat and bell as well

For this cycle I must sell

["shave and a haircut" jingle]

Nice bike!

The prince continued on his
search and came upon a florist.

He asked the florist if she had
seen a beautiful maid pass by.

Have you seen a
beautiful maid pass by?

[SINGING] Did her eyes,
they shine like diamonds?

Did she look like the
queen of the land?

Does her hair hang
over her shoulder

Tied up with a
black velvet band?

Yes.

Yes, that's her.

Which way did she go?

CAPTAIN FEATHERSWORD:
The florist

pointed the prince in the right
direction and bid him farewell.

[SINGING] Fare
thee well, my prince

I must attend my roses

It's their beauty
and their smell

That helps these
lovely roses sell

Fair thee well, my prince

I must attend my roses

It's their beauty
and their smell

That helps these
lovely roses sell

["shave and a haircut" jingle]

Nice smell!

The prince continued
on his search

but became forlorn that he could
not find the beautiful maiden.

He was about to
give up his search

when he turned towards the
town square, and he saw her.

He wasted not a second,
and ran to her and sang!

[SINGING] Your eyes,
they shine like diamonds

I thought you the
queen of the hand

Your hair hangs
over your shoulder

It's tied with a
black velvet band

CAPTAIN FEATHERSWORD: The prince
danced with the fair maiden,

and he knew he had
found his true love.

[SINGING] Your eyes,
they shine like diamonds

You will be the
queen of the land

Please wear this diamond tiara

I place on your
head with my hand

CAPTAIN FEATHERSWORD:
The prince and the maiden

continued to dance, and
the maiden knew that she,

too, had found her true love.

[SINGING] My eyes are
shining like diamonds

They'll think me the
queen of the land

Oh, I love to wear my tiara

And my hair in a
black velvet band

BOTH: Your hair in
a black velvet band

Your hair in a black velvet band

And they lived
happily ever after.

Wow-wow.

[exciting music]

Ruff!

Look what I've got, Dorothy.

What is it, Wags?

It's a dog collar
and a dog lead.

Why do you want
a collar and lead?

I went to a dog
show, and all the dogs

there had a collar and a lead.

And they were very clever.

Wags, you're not a show dog.

You're a friendly dog.

The dogs at the show
were friendly too.

And they could do clever things.

So I thought if I had
a collar and lead,

I could do clever things too.

What do you want to do?

You'll have to put
my collar on first.

[giggles] Wags, I don't
think this is going to fit you.

It's a collar for
a much smaller dog.

But if I don't have a collar,
you can't attach the lead.

Maybe you could do the clever
things without the collar

and lead.

Do you think so?

I'm sure you could.

What do you want to do first?

Well, when someone told the
show dogs to sit, they sat.

So you tell me to sit, and
we'll see if I can do it.

You can sit without
me having to tell you.

I know.

I know.

I just wanted to see if I
can do it when you tell me.

All right.

Wags, sit.

Ruff!

I can do it.

I can do it.

Now tell me to drop.

All right.

Wags, drop.

Ruff!

I can do that too.

Now you call, come,
and see if I can come

and sit in front of you.

Wags, come!

You see, Wags?

You can do it all.

You don't need a
collar and lead.

I can.

Aroo!

I can!

Thank you, Dorothy.

Oh, Wags.

You don't have to thank me.

You could always
do those things.

But I didn't know
I could do them,

and that makes all
the difference.

[applause]

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.

Tonight we have a
really big show.

We have the Fabulous
Flying Flea Circus,

Comedian Penny Marshall, and
Illusionist Borce Damcevski.

But first, all the way
from Sydney, Australia,

singing their really big
hit, "The Shimmie Shake,"

The Wiggles.

[applause]

["the shimmie shake!" playing]

The shimmie, shimmie shake

[waltz music]

Everybody, I'm
excited because we've

got three wonderful
organists here to play

some beautiful organ music.

The first organ player plays--

[rock and roll organ music]

Wow.

The second organist plays--

[sings organ notes]

The third organist plays--

[groovy organ music]

I love organ music.

Let's hear it again.

The first organist plays--

[rock and roll organ music]

Whoa.

Second organist plays--

[sings organ notes]

Let's hear from
the third organist.

[groovy organ music]

Wow!

How about a bit of soothing,
classical organ playing?

The first organist plays--

[gentle organ music]

Some more soothing organ music
from our third organist--

[peaceful organ music]

It's beautiful.

It's gentle.

Let's hear some organ
classical, soothing music

from the organist number two.

[singing gentle organ notes]

Ahoy there.

[surprise drum beat]

Sorry.

I heard someone say, ahoy there.

But some more
beautiful classical,

soothing music from
the second organist.

[singing gentle organ notes]

Ahoy there.

[surprise drum beat]

It happened again.

The second organist is just--

[singing gentle organ notes]

[singing gentle organ notes]

Ahoy there.

[laughs] It keeps happening.

Beep beep.

Boop boop boop.

Ha.

Beep boop boop boop
boop boop boop.

Beep boop boop boop
boop boop boop ahoy there.

Beep.

Boop boop there.

Beep boop boop beep boop.

Ahoy there.

Oh, I'm beginning
to wonder just

who this second organist is.

[organ chimes]

You think it's
Captain Feathersword?

[organ chimes]

And he's only pretending
to play the organ?

[organ chimes]

Well, let's have a close
look at these organ players.

Well, the first organ
player has a lovely top hat.

The second organist has
a lovely pirate hat.

You could be onto
something here.

The first organist has
a wonderful bow tie

and a lovely organist jacket.

The second organist has no
bow tie and a pirate jacket.

You know what?

I think you're right.

You're Captain Feathersword.

Oh no, I'm not.

Oh yes, you are.

Oh no, I'm not.

Oh yes, you are.

- Oh no, I'm not.
- Oh yes, you are.

- Oh no, I'm not.
- Oh yes, you are.

- Oh no, I'm not.
- Yes.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, ahoy there.

Ha ha ha.

And that gives it away, every
time you say ahoy there.

You are Captain Feathersword.

Oh, you're right, me hearties.

Hoo-ooh.

Oh, but I just
love playing organ

with these wonderful organists.

Oh, yes.

Let's hear some.

Whoo, yeah.

[organ music]

["i spy" playing]

[SINGING] I spy with my eye
something beginning with "th"

Oh, this is lots of fun.

Yes, it's my thumb

I spy with my eyes
something beginning with "b"

Oh, we'll take a look.

Yes, it's a book

I spy with my eye
something beginning with "t"

Oh my dear Aunt
Mabel, yes, it's a table

I spy with my eye
something beginning with "c"

Oh, yes, fancy that.

It's a cat

I spy with my eye something
that begins with "ch"

Oh, rock a bye, your bear.

That's right, it's a chair

[notes twang]

[bubbles gurgle]

["MISS POLLY HAD A DOLLY"
PLAYING]

[SINGING] Miss Polly had a
dolly who was sick, sick, sick

So she called for the doctor
to come quick, quick, cuick

The doctor came with
his bag and his hat

And he knocked on the
door with a rat a tat tat

He looked at the dolly
and he shook his head

He said

Miss Polly, put
her straight to bed.

He wrote on the paper
for a pill, pill, pill

I'll be back in the morning
with my bill, bill, bill

[theme music]

[SINGING] Wiggle and learn

Let's have some

Let's have some

Let's have some fun

It's time to say goodbye to you

Goodbye from The Wiggles
