When someone starts to get nitpicky,

that means they're very interested.

And if he wasn't, then he wouldn't start
picking out the small things

everything costs so much more now

and... and to, uh, bring this up
to the level of my, uh, interest

is gonna take a little bit of money.

At this price point,
resurfacing a pool is not that much,

but I guess you don't get rich
without watching the pennies.

because I got a text message
from an agent at another brokerage.

He went to an open house the other day,
and he was basically saying who are you

because there was kind of a scene.

He was saying that you were,
like, banging on the windows,

and it kind of was a scene.

And I was kind of like... [groans]

You know, I brought you into the office,
and I introduced you to people,

and I feel kind of responsible, in a way,
for your journey into real estate.

Your reputation is everything
in Orange County real estate.

And not only are you
representing yourself as an agent,

you're representing the brokerage,
and you're representing Jason.

So it's really important for Ali to know
that that is not how you do things.

I'm tryin' to help her future business.

I'm embarrassed that
that was said about me.

That's obviously not my behavior
in any sort of setting,

especially not a professional setting.

I don't have confrontations
and, like, altercations,

but you're exactly right.

I need to be more aware
and conscious of my surroundings.

Like, in the office, when there's just us,
whatever. Things get crazy.

Our office is wild.

But when it's in a professional setting,
it's a very, very small town,

and to have somebody
from a different brokerage

basically saying that
they wouldn't wanna work with you

because of that behavior,

it will be very difficult for you...

to cultivate those relationships
that you need to be good at your business

when you get licensed.

I mean, I was outside
having a conversation with Hall,

outdoors, by ourselves.

I didn't think
anyone else was paying attention.

I certainly didn't think I was gonna cause
any scene or anything.

I'm a very respectful
and professional person.

I also had never been
in a situation before

where I was completely triggered so much

to where I might've said
or acted in a certain way.

I don't care who you were talking to,
what you were talking about.

It's not... it's not my beef.
I'm not getting involved in that at all.

But, ya know,
this industry is definitely sink or swim,

and I'm kind of
throwing you a life jacket.

This is why you're here,
so don't ruin it for yourself.
