[Polly] This commission is huge for me
in a number of ways.

It's the biggest deal I've ever done.

My divorce lasted four years.
It was very expensive.

And closing this listing means
that I can put that chapter to bed,

and I start a new one today.

[voice breaks] It is very difficult for me
to say out loud that I am proud of myself,

but I really am.

I can be independent,
and I can be good at my job.

And I've not had to sacrifice
any of my own spirit.

That was a man

And to make it worse,
there was a group of us

that knew that those rumors
were being spread and told,

and chose to not bring... bring them up
or give them life

because they didn't deserve any attention.

Sean is troubled.
I mean, his business is suffering.

He has never sold anything
since being licensed.

He's never sold a house?

No, he's never represented
a buyer or a seller.

I was trying to be
as supportive as I could.

I was the closest person to Sean.

-He has said that.
-Polly and Sean were two peas in a pod.

And he f*cked me over,
and he showed me his true colors.

He is a snake.

He'll go to everybody independently
and be your best friend.

The minute he's with somebody else,
he'll start talkin' sh*t about you.

If this is how he treats his friends,

I consider him a friend, and I know that
Jarvis and him are very close, and Kayla.

I want to be, like,
intentional about dating somebody.

The other day in the office was one
of the most demeaning, lowest things.

I was so blindsided when I came

this listing I've been working on.

I couldn't even put my laptop down.

Austin came up to me, and he is livid.

He's like, "You're saying that me and Lisa

I'm getting annoyed because I'm like,
Austin has some nerve right now

because I'm not here
to talk about the inner workings

of his personal relationship
with his wife.

He's told me about things that him
and his wife are interested in or doing,

and he's hinted it towards me.

You know what?
If this is what your lifestyle is,

great and go for it.

I'm an openly bisexual guy.

But as a man with a wife,
don't flirt with me. I'm sorry.

It's just kind of a shitty situation.

Sean and I got really, really close.

I considered him one of my close friends,
invited him over to my house for dinner,

we worked out together,
I gave him a workout plan,

like, you know, he hung out with my kids.
Like, he was a friend.

So, to see someone
that I considered a good friend

look me straight in the eyes
and lie about something,

it just kind of triggered me, you know?

Some people are just really good at lying
and believing their own bullshit,

and I think that's who he is.

If it's about me, I don't mind.
You can make rumors about me.

I can take that.

But when you involve my family,
it's not cool. So...

[Austin] I will just separate myself
from that

because it's only a matter of time
until he does it to someone else.

This is a pattern with Sean.

He gets close to someone,
and then he burns bridges.

He's done this with both
Tyler, Polly, and now myself. So...

They're just mad they got called out
because they know the truth.

You're not gonna come to me
with this energy to the office

and think that
I'm not gonna tell the truth then.

Nobody intimidates me.
I lost all respect for Austin.

I'm not tryin' to hook up with people
in the office like everyone's doing.

A week ago, I thought you were going
to Nashville with Tyler.

I was like, "Oh okay." He's like,
"I've got a showing on Montage."

Then he called me the day after

And I literally said to him,

because I have to make arrangements,
like, for the kids."

The day before we're supposed to leave,
not a word from him.

So I texted him, and I said, "Okay,
based on, you know, our last conversation...

And he said, "You know,

He's doing it based on just the house.

But because of that interest,

my sellers want to raise the price
from 7.495 to 8.25.

I mean, look, I never really thought
this thing was worth 7.5 million,

but now they're raising it to eight?

I don't think that's a good idea, right?

I have been keeping in touch

and it is, by far, my favorite house
I've ever seen to date in Laguna Beach.

It's a masterpiece.

to bring Italy into Laguna Beach.

The Dalle de Bourgogne stone
is hundreds of years old.

The fireplace, I brought back in
from a place north of Paris.

That's about 400 years old.

I remember the primary having
a really phenomenal view as well.

-It does.

and I wanna get his opinion on pricing...

with this property

that the number in my head seems crazy.

He's got grapevines
surrounding the entire property.

He's got fig trees,
pomegranate trees, persimmon trees...

-[Tyler] It's bigger than I thought.

this place is so beautiful, Hall.

I mean, I think if you're going
pie-in-the-sky price,

I think Tyler's overestimating things
just a little bit, but I'm not arguing.

But taking into consideration,
like, of course, price per square foot,

that have sold,

I was thinking somewhere
between like 17 and 20.

I thought maybe being my friend,
have a little bit more respect to tell me,

You literally didn't even tell me, Tyler,
until I texted you.

-We talked on the phone.
-"You can still come if you want."

I said... I said, "Come if you want.
I'm probably gonna go for... for one day..."

"Come if you want" is horse sh*t.

"Come if you want" is bullshit. Code for,
"I don't f*cking want you to come."

I mean, what would you have done
had I... had I not texted you, actually?

What if I was like,
"We're going to Nashville."

"Pick me up at 5:00 in the morning."

I never cancelled your ticket, so...
