26x05 - Get in That Lederhosen, Baby

Post by bunniefuu »

Phil: Previously on "The Amazing Race".

Nine teams raced to Bangkok, Thailand.

Some blind date couples just couldn't get along.

It goes both ways.

If you want to stay closer, you have to stay closer to me! Blair, we're wasting time.

I have no idea who you're fighting with right now.

Phil: While others enjoyed the ride.

This is awesome.

I think he likes me.

No, he loves it.

He has a big smile on his face.

Phil: At the Roadblock, Rochelle b*at the boys.

No way.

She didn't even know what a transmission was.

Our boys need to step it up.

Phil: A dim romantic fortune Not likely to find a good mate at this stage.

Phil: Didn't stop Bergen and Kurt on the race course.

- You're number one! - Oh, my God! - Where's Phil? - You know? A cryptic clue stumped Matt and Ashley.

- Where did the Olympians run to? - I don't know.

Where did they go? But in the end, Team New Kid couldn't catch up.

Harley and Jonathan, sorry to tell you that you are the last team to arrive and you have been eliminated from the race.

Eight teams remain.

Who will be eliminated next? We've got date night, baby.

Beers! Diner was fun.

It was nice to do something that wasn't a challenge.

It's going great between Tyler and I.

But I'm so into the race that I can't really think about love.

What? I love fireworks.

Laura and I are in the friendship zone for sure, but I think that we both have a mutual respect for one another.

- This is awesome.

- This is so awesome.

Now we need to get the small things right and we're going to win this race.

- This is our good luck.

Right here.

- Yes.

A team.

Phil: Bergen and Kurt will depart first at 3:03 PM.

Oh, my God, Germany.

Phil: Our couples will now fly more than 5,000 miles from Asia to the heart of Europe, Munich, Germany.

After landing, they must make their way by train to this clothing shop and pick out the appropriate attire to be part of Oktoberfest.

Airport? Open the trunk.

Ever since we figured out it wasn't going to work out for us and it probably wasn't going to be a good match, I've been really nervous he was just going to give up on me, because he was only in it for love and he doesn't need $1 million.

I'm really hoping this first place finish will help, because I want to keep going as far as we can.

I cannot wait to put on a pair of boots again.

- We really aren't a match, are we? - Nope.

We've never not been happy about life or the race.

But we've kind of at times, we semi hated each other.

Momentarily.

We got our panties in a ruffle.

Now we're just best buds and we're going to win $1 million.

Yeah.

So Aly and I actually first met each other in Munich.

It was at a dinner prior to the Sochi games and I turned around and there she was, and I guess that's where the magic started.

Yeah, I guess so.

Fly to Munich, Germany.

- Here we go.

- Let's go.

- You're kind of sticky.

- I have bug spray on.

I don't like it.

I'm sorry.

Like I care.

Our relationship is progressing.

We definitely do have chemistry.

We'll see where it goes.

We're both still learning a lot about each other, about our personalities and how we're able to work best together.

We're on the plane right now heading to Munich, Germany.

Right now, currently all eight teams are on the same flight heading to Munich.

- We're ready for a 13-hour flight.

- We'll be landing at 6:45 AM.

Come on.

Let's go.

- Come on, we gotta run.

- I'm coming.

- We just keep going straight? - Let's go.

It's that street ahead.

- Open it.

- I'm trying.

Route Info.

Go Bavarian in lederhosen and dirndl.

When the shopper approves your costume, search for your next clue at Alter Peter Tower.

- Let's get dressed.

- I am.

- You need help? - Yes, please.

Get naked.

Big guy in some leather pants.

Oh, man.

- Put it down.

Your boobs.

- Ok.

- There we go.

- Manhandle me.

- Are you married? - Nope.

I am single and I'm wearing my bow on the left side.

Just like the grandmother would knit for me.

Sweet.

Their outfits are pretty well-looking.

Hopefully, we can put this on and drink some beers.

This is awesome.

Oh, my God, my thunder thighs.

- All right, I'm ready.

- Ok.

- Yay.

- Get in that Lederhosen, baby.

It's like squeezing a cream puff through a key hole.

- Alter Peter Tower.

- Might be this.

All right, let's go.

- Alter Peter Tower.

- Right here.

- This is the tower.

- Climb to the the of the tower.

And look for the marked Ford Focus on the streets below.

Choose one and drive yourselves to Schlafwagen and search for your clue.

We're here in Munich, Germany, climbing on the top of Alter Peter Tower.

We're wearing full lederhosen.

It's pretty sweet.

But this is tough work.

- This has gotta be it.

- Alter Peter, right here.

- All right.

- Oh, this is a workout.

- Oh, my gosh.

- Look for some Ford Focuses.

All right.

- See anything? - Right there.

They're right there.

We just have to get down there.

There's a couple more there, too.

- Here we are.

- Go get it, guy.

Good work.

Whoa.

Here, look.

Binoculars.

There they are, baby.

Right there.

- Yeah.

- Let's go.

- Right here.

- I've gotta get this fanny pack off.

I hope she got it.

It would be great.

Oh! All right, my turn.

Could we just trade to that car, so we just could go forward? Yeah, great idea.

We're trading cars.

Let's go.

Fast.

Oh, my God.

Oh, they're right there.

- They're right there.

- Ok, let's go.

We got it.

- That's the tower up there.

- Yeah.

Looking for a marked vehicle.

- See anything? - No.

Oh, my God.

- There they are.

- Put the bags in the trunk.

- Yep.

- We'll follow you, guys.

Oh, it is stick shift.

Let's get away from everyone that's coming down, so they don't see where we are.

We have not driven a stick shift.

Gonna be bad.

- There's no way.

- I'll keep trying.

I'm just warning you, the first time I get real freaked out, I'm getting out.

Oh, come on.

Here we go.

You have to find your way to the highway, baby.

- Right here.

- Cool.

Good work, Aly.

- You're driving.

- No, you're driving.

You know how to drive in Germany.

I don't.

Ok.

Let's just think about this.

Got to go this way.

- I thought they ran this way.

- Where is southwest? - Southwest is that way? - Yeah.

- You sure? - It's what my compass is saying.

Got to be here somewhere.

I feel like has got to be one in every corner.

You keep saying that, but I don't know.

You could've got disoriented.

- You're not listening to me.

- We could be thinking the wrong direction.

It could be completely opposite.

We gotta go back to the tower.

I can't do this anymore.

This is stressing me out too much.

I don't care what anyone says, we're going back up.

- Could we just try - No, no, no.

We need to work together, but Jeff finds a way to shut me down, so we can do whatever he wants to do at the time.

There it is.

Wait! Jackie, let's go! Idiot.

But I'm not a lady to be talked down to.

- All right.

- Whose is this? Tyler.

This is theirs.

- Where are they? - I don't know.

They left their fanny pack in here.

Let's go.

I'm driving.

You just - You just - Sit here and shut up.

You don't have to do that.

You can talk as much as you want.

- I won't tell you to shut up.

- Whatever you want me to do, obviously.

- Jackie.

- Respect me when I'm talking.

That's all I'm asking.

Do not cut me off.

Jackie, I'm not going to cut you off again.

- Don't do that again.

- Don't cut me off ever again.

Ever again.

- Jackie! - Just don't do it! Do us both a favor and read the clue.

- Ok, we're going to - God, you're so annoying! - Just listen to what I'm saying - You got your point across! Shut up, please! God! - Do not cut me off.

- I need concentration right now.

I don't need to listen to you.

Thank you for shutting up and just stop talking, just shut up.

I'm so over you.

- Right here.

- Oh, boy.

Right here.

Jenny and Jelani just got into a car behind us.

Do you want me to drive? - I think I can do a little bit better.

- Ok.

This gorgeous Ford has a GPS.

- What? - That was a clutch find.

We're going to get here a little bit sooner.

- - Yeah.

Oh, God.

This is not happening.

I need you to help me with directions.

I know it's hard, but I'm driving.

I understand that.

First off, you know how paranoid I am.

You need to get that out.

I can't help that.

Oh, God.

Oh God.

Where are we going now? - Well, give me the paper.

- You have lost it.

Yeah, because you have pissed me off to the point of no return.

Using the rearview camera, drive your Ford Focus in reverse through a winter wonderland.

Phil: From the outside, this is just an old factory.

But inside, teams will find a winter wonderland.

Driving a 2015 Ford Focus, they must drive in reverse and use the rearview camera to piece together their next clue.

- Can you drive, babe? - Yeah, of course.

- Ok.

You're good.

- I'm on it.

Can I write it like on a piece of paper? The white lines are where you're going.

I think it's street signs, babe.

- S-c-h.

Yes.

- Cool.

- I'll go really slow.

- Take your time, you're good.

- L-i.

- Cool.

We got it.

- Ok? - I got it, don't worry.

- E-r.

Yes, ok.

- You're doing great, babe.

S-e-e.

Yeah.

I think this is it.

At the end of the course, you must immediately pull forward to the beginning of the course.

- Ok, good girl.

- Ok.

- Drive your Ford Focus in reverse.

- In reverse through A winter wonderland.

- All right, you wanna grab a pen? - Yes.

Yes, I figured out reverse.

- Push it.

- You gotta lift it up.

Fanny packs got pens.

- Where's the fanny pack? - It's back there underneath my bag.

- No, Tyler, it's not.

- What do you mean it's not? Might be in blue car.

Because I took it off when I tried to get in the backseat of the car.

Oh, my God.

Hold on.

Let's do this challenge.

And then we'll sit here and wait for that other car to get here.

Ok.

- Show time.

All you.

- I don't think I can pronounce that.

Schliersee.

Thank you.

Drive yourselves to Schliersee, near Seestrasse 27, and search for your next clue.

Ok.

Let's go.

Here's Tyler and Laura.

- There's one team.

- Let's just pay attention here.

Tough little course.

- You're doing a fantastic job.

- Thank you.

Concentrate.

You got this.

Here's another one.

I think it's e-r.

- Yeah, it's er.

- Ok.

- S-e-e.

- Ok.

- Schliersee.

- Schliersee.

- Thank you.

- Thank you so much.

I think today was our first major blowout.

We look so stupid yelling at each other.

I don't need to be telling you to shut up.

That was definitely not gentleman-like.

Thank you.

When it comes to communication, we're all over the place, but we do have the ability to say I'm sorry and we'll move forward.

Never tell a woman to shut up.

Oh, God.

Oh, God.

I don't know what to do.

- Should we just pull off, Bergen? - Ok.

There's nothing else we can do, right? We're going to have to take a cab and take a penalty and just go, because we're not going to be able to drive stick.

Just leave this right here? - Yes.

- So we're going to take a taxi.

I'm at a loss for words because I did drive somewhat of a distance.

Give me a chance and let me keep going, because I don't give up easily.

This sucks so bad.

I've been driving trying to drive.

Not going well.

We took the wrong turn.

- Just drive slowly.

- I'm definitely driving slow.

I think it will be very difficult for us to get back from this.

I can't do this.

Can you do this? I'm sorry, babe.

But, I have no idea where we're at.

Neither do I.

We're in Schliersee.

Straight ahead.

Let's roll.

You get in.

- Oh, God.

- All the way in the back.

Phil: Olympians Aly and Steve are back on track and leading the pack.

Will they get their first win of the race? Not if they row like that.

Running this race, this is as high stress as probably anyone has ever experienced in their lives.

Yay! I think at the of day we have to realize that even though it's such high stress, it is a game and it's supposed to be fun and appreciate the experience is a big part of that and that's something we're trying to do.

- Detour.

- Stein or Stack.

Phil: This Detour gives teams an opportunity to get a taste of Oktoberfest.

Each team must figure out how to carry 22 steins all at once, working like the Bavarian waitresses who serve this heavy steins for the 16 consecutive days of Oktoberfest.

If they can make their delivery without dropping them, they will get their next clue.

Crate stacking competitions were invented by fear enthusiasts who decided they could build a tower with all the empty crates that were lying around.

Believe it or not, the world record is 49 crates high and if you want to know how amazing that is, watch what happens when teams try to build one with just Fifteen.

Ok.

Yeah, we're going to do Stein.

- Please let us have our fanny packs.

- We just want our fanny pack.

I've never wanted a fanny pack so bad in my life.

That's the New Yorkers.

- Drive your Ford Focus in reverse.

- Let's go.

You have to pay attention with the clues.

More to the left.

More to the left.

Turn the car more.

- I got it.

- What does that sign says? S-c-h.

There you go.

Stay right there.

There's a blue Ford focus pulling up.

Blair, stop the car.

God.

- Was this one on the sidewalk? - No.

Blair, let's go get the clue.

What are you freaking doing? Why? What's up? We're just hanging out.

Our car was definitely darker blue.

- We need to - Can I Blair, just get in the freaking car and we'll do it from there.

Hope you guys are doing well.

Blair, here's the direction.

Do we back in? Blair, you are so annoying it's not even funny.

Where's the pen? I'd rather be sitting right here than be with her.

That chick is nuts.

"Schlirsee"? No? Schliersee? - Yes! - Thank you so much.

- You may use the navigation system.

- God bless.

- Thank the Lord.

- Thank you.

Adios.

Taxi? It's warm and smells good.

You're driving an a*t*matic.

Wouldn't that be nice.

Kurt gave up too easily, so I felt like I was dragging him along the whole time.

After that point, I just kind of shut down.

- "Schlarsee"? - Schliersee.

Oh, great.

Next clue.

Let's get in the car again.

The Wicked Witch of the West is leaving.

- What are you doing? - What's going on? - What? - Who cares, Blair? We need to care about what we're doing.

- Good luck.

- Thanks, you too.

Just craving conversation from happy people.

That's all.

We made it.

We're going to carry some steins.

- Let's do this.

- Thank you.

- Hello.

- Hello.

Oh, my gosh, these are huge.

- 22 of them.

So 11 each? - Yeah.

- Ok.

- Oh, my God, these are heavy.

- You got them girl? - OK, let's do.

- Follow the arrows.

- Ok.

I'm from Wisconsin so I have an appreciation for beer.

Aly, faster.

We need to go through a course of tables and being in that room with all those people that were just happy drinking beer and dancing just gave me more energy.

All the way to the table, babe.

We're doing great.

Come on.

You got it, babe.

- So heavy.

- You got it.

Come on! To a table! Yeah! My hands.

- Good job.

Well done.

- Good? Thank you so much.

Drive yourselves to the Markus Wasmeier Museum and search for your next clue.

- Ok, let's go.

- Let's do it.

I don't know what to do with their fanny pack.

Their passports.

All their money is here.

I don't know.

I don't think they can get very far without it.

This might work in our favor.

- You guys have a blue car? - Yes.

Where's your car? We didn't take it, we don't know how to drive it.

We were in a taxi.

Is everything ok? We switched cars an we left our passports in that car.

Oh, man.

You can't even do this one.

Sorry, guys.

Good luck.

Come on.

It's like the best news we've gotten yet.

The challenge is you have to drive your car but they don't have one.

They're done.

So we just found out that we got a two-hour penalty.

We hope that Laura and Tyler can't find their passports and therefore they get eliminated.

This looks so nice.

- This is beautiful.

- That's gorgeous.

Oh, my God.

Clue box.

Who wants to woo? Phil: Couples now have a chance to woo each other with a traditional act of German culture.

If they forget the words or sing off-key, they could face a rude awakening.

But if they're in-tune, they can celebrate and get their next clue.

- That's you, babe.

- I will.

- Hello.

- Thank you.

Choose an instructor.

How about you? Please? Ok, I'm a bad singer.

Ok.

Ah, but this is "wia"? I think Aly's going to do great.

Her voice is fine.

[SINGING IN GERMAN.]

It's not record-worthy, but my voice is terrible.

- Detour.

Stein? - Stein? Stein.

Let's go get some people some beer.

- I like it.

Let's do this.

- Let's go.

Gosh, took forever.

You guys, was this car up on the sidewalk? - I don't know.

- It was in the circle.

- It's in the circle? - Yeah? Hey, did you guys find a fanny pack in your car? No.

I don't know.

- Is that yours? - That's our car.

- Jackie? - Wait.

- Any luck? - Yes, let's go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Drive your Ford Focus in reverse through a winter wonderland and read the signs to piece together your next destination.

We just found the fanny pack in Jeff and Jackie's car.

- Let me just see it.

- Where's the passport? Right here.

We're good, we're good.

Let's go.

- We can do this.

- Ok.

Back in.

Laura and Tyler are leaving the premises.

Here we go.

Did they not even know it was in there? No.

Did you shove it under the seat? - It was shoved under the seat? - It was shoved underneath the seat.

He was playing dumb, but they definitely knew it was there.

This game is on.

Can we breathe a sigh of relief? - Let's do this.

- It's always good to hit you.

Careful, careful.

Stop.

Let me get to this.

- E-r.

- E-r.

Ok.

Whoo.

Drive your Ford Focus in reverse through a winter wonderland.

Ok, so let's go back to car and drive it.

Yay.

S-c-h-l-i-e-r-s-e-e.

Schliersee.

- Thank you.

- Good luck.

We've got this.

Whoo! It's all good.

Whatever.

All right.

Ok.

Dang it! - Not good.

- Ok.

I'm sorry.

Ah! Oh, my God.

That was so mean.

I did not expect the water bucket.

Hi.

Schliersee.

- Yay, thank you.

- Thank you so much.

All right, let's do it.

All right, ladies first.

These are some pretty big mugs.

- Ok, so it's 22 total? - Yeah.

Get them like this.

I think I'm doing four and four.

- How many do you have? - I have 14.

These are really heavy.

Ok, let's go.

As fast as you can.

Ah! Whoo! Ah! That didn't work out so well.

- Do you have to start again? - Yeah.

- All right.

- Let's go.

These are really heavy mugs of beer.

This is awful.

Well, that's a curb.

- Get something to drink.

- In these awesome outfits.

Grab some snacks.

We're going to enjoy the ride.

- I nailed this! - Watch out.

Oh, Oh.

Oh, my God.

Thank you.

Yeah! Whoo! That was the hardest thing I've ever done.

- You k*lled it.

- Oh, my God.

Drive to your next Pit Stop.

Phil: Teams must now drive themselves to Lake Spitzingsee and on the shores of this popular playground, they will find the Pit Stop of this leg of the race.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- Thank you so much! - Take care.

Muah! Muah! Detour.

Stein or Stack? - You want to try the Stack? - I have small hands.

Yeah.

- We're going to do Stack.

- We're going to Stack.

We got it.

We got it, we got it.

We got it, almost there.

I'm like at a loss right now.

It's in there? In that place, I believe.

How are you guys doing? Ok, watch.

One in the middle and then use the other arm.

- See that, hon? - Ok, let me do eight.

Does that feel good? It's not working, that's hard.

Blair, we might have to switch Detours.

Go, go.

Excuse me.

Excuse me.

Excuse me.

Babe? Babe? So heavy.

I think they're going to get it the first time.

- Go, baby! - Just go! Yeah, baby! Whoo! Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me! Hey! Let's go! You got it.

Done.

Yeah, baby! Yes! - Ok, let's go.

- Ok, let's go.

- Good job, guys.

- Thank you.

Thank you.

I think we should just go to another one.

We have to try one more time.

When you pick it up, like bend low.

I understand that part.

I don't need you to reiterate what I already know.

- I didn't see you doing that.

- Blair? You weren't doing that, that's all I'm saying.

I'm just trying to get the hand grip right now.

- Is that ok? - I'm just trying the help out.

- You're looking for some - Your helping is things I already know.

Great observation there, Captain Obvious! This is like No, this is not going to work for me.

Ah.

Can we just go to the other one, please? Can we please go to the other one? I don't want to waste more time.

Can we just go? All right.

We're going to go to the other Detour now, try the other one.

All right, let's go.

We have to go now.

- Oh, pretty.

- This is super pretty.

Yeah, this is so Bavaria.

Right here.

Right here.

We're here.

- Finally.

- Welcome to Bavaria, Germany.

Thank you.

Phil: Aly and Steve, you are team number one.

You have won the gold medal.

As the winners of this leg of the race, you have each won a 2015 Ford focus.

What? Phil: Fully equipped with voice-activated sync, with MyFord Touch technology and standard rearview camera, just like the one you were using in today's challenge and you will be awarded your new cars after the race is completed.

- That's awesome.

- That's great news, Phil.

- You're going to die.

- Ready? I'm going to serenade your ass right now.

I'm ready.

Oh, God.

That's not it.

[Laughter.]

Sounded like a dying horse.

This look like it should be it.

Hello.

- One of you have to climb.

- I'll climb.

And one handle the crates.

Let me tie the I think today I went off to a rough start.

But Jeff is a great guy and there are a lot of great qualities about him, so I definitely want to give him a chance.

And hopefully now he'll just respect me, that's all I ask.

There's one more rule.

- From the 10th crate on - Uh-huh.

There's no holding from underneath it.

- Ok.

- Good luck.

Let's do it.

- I guess I'll climb? - Yeah.

Ok, I'll climb.

- You holding it? - Yeah.

Let me get as high as possible.

Oh, my gosh.

Got to use some balance.

- We're here! - Who wants to climb? I think you should climb, because I can reach more of these.

It's like when King Kong climbed up the Empire State Building.

My helmet is in the way.

We're coming.

Here comes another team.

Like everyone's here.

We need to move.

Yeah, I got it.

Damn.

You have to sneak your foot like that.

The more you push down, the more balance there's going to be.

- All right, this up again? - Just hold real steady.

- Slow, slow.

- God.

- Ok.

- Sorry.

We don't really know where we're at.

We don't really know where we're going.

I don't know how to drive a stick.

Oh, God.

I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.

Aw, I love you.

Good job, baby.

Please, be good.

I can't do this anymore.

I'm sorry, babe! Oh, God.

We're good! Yes, baby! Give me a kiss! I love you.

Let me come down.

I'm going to fall.

Ok.

It's nearly impossible to climb up 15 crates without knocking it over.

So we had to rethink strategy.

There you go.

I think you can keep it steady like that.

I would climb to the top and she would hand me one, and then we just got moving one crate by one crate.

This is hard.

Ok, you got it.

Jackie, if you have to, just keep looking at what he's doing.

You see how he's balancing himself up there? Yeah.

I'm going to switch and see if I have any better luck climbing.

I don't know if I will.

But I'll try.

I'm like really, really shaking.

It's ok.

Very good.

- You want me to try? - Yeah.

Hop out of that harness.

We'll switch.

There he is.

What a good day.

Phil: Word is that you are very much in love.

- Yeah.

- We are.

Phil: And you can probably teach a thing or two about love for the other teams.

Love's got to just happen.

- You can't teach it.

- Yeah, you can't teach it.

Top-2 today with dating couples and this is where the game is going to turn around.

Looks like the singles are falling apart.

Ah! - Beautiful.

- All right, Blair.

This is our last one and we're out of here.

Take your time.

We're so close.

Ok.

Ok.

Steady, steady, steady.

Oh! Oh, he just fell.

All right.

Come down.

We know the technique.

- We got this.

- Backwards.

You have to look.

S-c-h.

Mike and Rochelle are coming in now.

Right here.

This is "see".

Are you guys done? We took a penalty and here we are.

You guys look so mystical.

Good luck, you all.

Schliersee.

Thank you so much.

All right, some more driving.

Let's try this.

- Thank you.

- Thank you.

Left.

Perfect.

It's in.

No, no, left.

Just move it towards you.

- It's in.

- There we go.

- Yeah? - Good job, Jackie, good job! Whoo! [Applause.]

There you go.

- All right.

It's amazing.

- That was crazy.

You did so good.

Ok.

Drive yourselves to Markus Wasmeier Museum - And search for your next clue.

- Let's go.

Let's do this.

- You did it.

- Got it, got it.

You did.

Very good.

- Let the day continue.

- Ok.

Just be very, very steady.

- Very steady.

Very steady.

- Shhh.

We got it, 15! Whoo! Whoo! Oh, my God.

Whoo! - Yes? - That's it.

- Yes, it's good.

- Yes, come on down! Get down! Get down! Grab your shoes and let's go! All right.

- Thank you.

- Thank you.

Drive yourselves to Schliersee.

You may use the navigation system that we don't have.

- Ok, thank you.

- Thank you.

Bye.

- Thank you.

- Let's get out of here.

Ok, it's where those flags are.

- Yes.

- Whoo! Can I take you? - Right here, Jackie.

- Ok, let's go.

Ok.

Ok.

Oh, I see it.

- Jackie? - Don't laugh, just Ah! That's great.

That's great.

Ah! This turned into a wet t-shirt contest real quick.

Thank you.

We just got tickets to Schliersee.

So we're just going to take a train and get there.

We're always in the race until we see Daddy Phil.

- Did we get the Date? - Did we get a date? So romantic.

We're going to try the beer crate stacking.

- Yeah.

- Let's go.

Ok.

Wow.

Ah! That was terrible.

Poor Jelani.

Oh, no.

[Laughter.]

- Oh, my gosh.

- The water was well deserved.

- What did I do wrong? - She's certainly no Beyoncé.

I think you're doing awesome.

That's awesome.

Oh, hell yes! There we go! You have such a cute voice.

No water? Oh, my God.

No! Yes! Thank you! [Laughter.]

Let's go.

There he is, I'm ready.

Let's go.

Oh, my God.

Oh, my God.

Is that it? You were so lucky.

You have to figure out how you're supposed to climb this.

At first, we couldn't figure out how to climb.

So we have talent, huh? I just started climbing them.

But it was just tough.

- You want me to try? - Yeah.

I'm afraid of heights, so that might be challenging.

[Applause.]

Yes! Thank you! I love you! Yes! - We'll do Stack.

- We choose Stack.

Oh, it's in Bayrischzell, the last stop on the train.

We got this, ok? It's high.

You're fine.

It's not that hard.

This is so high.

Phil on the Lake Shore.

Whoo! Phil: Jeff and Jackie, I'm pleased to tell you that you are team number three.

There we go.

There we go.

Phil: We do have another team coming behind you guys.

You are team number four.

Another team is about to run in.

Come on.

Come on, guys! Phil: I understand there was some heated words between you guys.

Us? Never.

The blade of grass next to your right toe - That's how big I felt all day.

- Oh, my God.

It's tough, I'm a blind date couple, that was a chance I took.

I made the commitment to myself to see it through to the end, no matter what faults my partner had.

But sometimes I want to run away.

[Laughter.]

We had a rough day, Phil.

Phil: But the good thing is you're getting on.

We're having a good time.

Mark my words, Phil, today's the last day of any stupid blunders.

We're racing to win.

- That's the one we want.

- This is us.

We're going to Bayrischzell.

Stack beer crates.

This is so high.

You're good.

You're good.

This is scary.

Just don't think about how high you are.

I don't even You got this.

I can't do it.

I can't do it.

Don't give up.

Two to go.

You can do it.

I need a minute.

I need to.

.

keep my cool.

I'm afraid of heights and I was freaking out.

But I just thought of our motivation for doing this race and everything.

I'm a single mom.

I have a 7-year-old son.

It gives me a chance to win $1 million.

One to go.

I really, really would love to have my son's education taken care of.

And I gained my composure and did it.

Yes! Watch out.

I want to give you a big hug.

Excellent job.

Awesome.

The day goes on.

It's going to be really interested to see if anyone else is still around.

All right.

He totally made my heart flutter up on that ladder.

Aw.

Beautiful.

I liked it.

Oh, yes! Thank you so much.

You did awesome.

Yay.

I don't think this is right what we're trying to find.

You want to go back to the train station? - Yeah.

- Ok.

What a day! Phil: Mike and Rochelle, you are still in the race.

You're not eliminated.

Yes.

Yes.

There he is.

Phil: Bergen and Kurt Why don't you stand up for me for a second? We will do that.

I just wanted to let you know that all the other teams have checked in to the Pit Stop.

This is an elimination leg and you have been eliminated from the race.

I think there was some tension today, but I'm not bitter.

I'm not bitter at all.

Phil: Your face says more than just tension.

There's no butterflies and rainbows here today.

Today was awful.

No pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Hell, no.

I'm fine with the choice we made.

No, it's not fine.

Damn it.

We're in a race.

It wasn't meant for me and Bergen to win The Amazing Race.

You signed up for this, and you can't just give up right away when you find out you're not going to find love.

He gave up.

I'm pretty disappointed.

Phil: Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on "The Amazing Race".

Phil: In the romantic country of Monaco teams get dressed to the nines.

I fell kind of curvy on this.

Phil: The love affair continues Get your roses.

Phil: And the stakes get higher for Jeff and Jackie.

Don't shake it too much.
