to see everybody.

"I identify as a Black woman.
I'm coming to a Black man."

"I see that he is dating a white woman."

"I want to, like, make sure
that he's in the right headspace

of our Black excellence."

But, yeah, like, I just hope
people are being, like, intentful.

I didn't get ill intent.

Um, it was a very well-rounded...

I know that it's such a challenge
for Black men with white women.

-Or any interracial couple.
-Mm-hmm.

'Cause I've always faced that.

Like, I have always ran into, like,

"Okay, you know, if you marry a Black man,
these are the things that you will face."

It is completely different,

rather than dating
someone of your own race

and that who, to the eye, looks like me.

But, like, y'all talking about it,
I mean, she is a Black woman.

And she can relate to you,

whereas, like,
I identify as a white woman.

The questions that AD
was asking me was very...

it gave me very much, like, true concern.

You know we're gonna face,
like, people's opinions.

Like, my female best friend

is probably gonna be very like,
"Ken, like, let's talk."

-My people, they love me hard, you know?
-[Brittany] Right.

So, like, they're... they're concerned
mostly always about how are...

who has my heart.

"Do you guys
understand the magnitude of this?"

Like, "Are y'all prepared for this?"

Like, my people are gonna be...

They're gonna love you
'cause you're a b*mb person.

wanna know that I am good.

What would make you
feel confident in "us being good"?

After we got home last night
from the party, Jeramey was very cold.

He iced me out.
He didn't wanna talk about anything.

I had no idea what was going on.
I didn't know what had happened.

He just had no interest in talking
and slept on the sofa,

and I slept in the bed, and that was that.

Last night was triggering for me

because of past relationships
I've been in.

Where it's like, I end up being, like,
embarrassed by my significant other

because of, like, something they do
or say or whatever.

So in the future, if I tell you a story

and I say jokingly go do something,

I never in a million years
would have thought

that you would have repeated
any of that to anyone else.

I looked like
the biggest assh*le in the world.

I went to bed angry.
I slept on the couch last night.

I refused to come back in the room 'cause
I was trying to mind my own business.

My judgement was, like, "Cool."

"You've made your bed this badly,
you might as well lay in it now."

Am I gonna be perfect?
No. I'm gonna f*ck up.

But if I f*ck up, I need to handle it
a hell of a lot better

than I handled it last night,
because you didn't deserve

the silent treatment
that you got last night.

And I knew that,
and I still did it, and it was wrong,

and all I can do is just fix it.

pissed you off, so then I got pissed off.

That's why I got so worried last night
and this morning,

'cause I was like,
"Well, I'm on my own. I'm on my own."

-Which is a scary place to be in.

I looked at you while you were sleeping,
and I was like,

The things you do, the mannerisms,
the way you act, the way we communicate.

I literally went back to the pods
and was like,

"We get along on every level."

Why would I let that go away
over my dumbass ego last night

and, like, way of not handling
a situation the right way?

And then that's when I was like,
"No, that's not the way to do this."

-The way I did grow up with my father.

And, like, how I seen,
like, cheating as a regular thing.

My dad's a suave guy,
always been good with women.

-And it was like a... ding!

You know, like, the fact that
my mom and dad were like best friends.

-But my dad still...

You know, unfortunately,
like, he was still cheating, you know?

Infidelity was a thing.

And, like, my dad would take me
with him to some of his infidelity trips.

And then...

You know, it was just tough, like,
I didn't even realize I never told my mom.

I keep that inside,
like, still to this day.

Like, my mom doesn't even know some
of the trips that I went on with my dad.

-I love my dad. My dad was a great father.
-For sure.

I don't want anything, like,
taken away from him being a father,

'cause he supported me
in everything we did.

It's just that I've never seen my dad
just stay with, like...

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-He was with my mom for 25 years.

Once the divorce came, never seen him
just, like, single, always had a girl.

I've never seen a Black relationship
that... where the man is faithful.

I'm not even blaming my dad.

Like, I'm talking about, like,
all Black men that's been in my life.

Even, like, celebrities,
like, the Will Smiths,

you know, all the celebrities,
like the Diddys and stuff like that.

Those are Black men I like to look at,

and it's like,
you always hear they have other women.

So, to me, the concept of one girl...

Yeah.

I'm always having a fear of, like,
"Can I just be with one person?"

I take it serious with marriage.

And even with me loving you,
like, everything.

It's just that marriage part is just...
it's... it's like an unknown thing for me.

I do wanna do marriage.

I do wanna go through some type
of therapy with you and talk it out.

And the fact that we've had our hurdles,

and you know,
we went through conflict and turbulence.

-And we've been able to navigate it.
-Yeah.

[Clay] Even when it was
a little rocky, how we just know that,

you know, you're my person
that I could come to for comfort.

You've been awesome to me,
and me being with you,

and, like, the person I've become...

I'm so grateful for the pod moment,

and, like, you helping me
become a better person.

-With you, you know, it's incredible.

I really feel like for me and you,
this is gonna be our best moment.

-I proposed to you for a reason.

'Cause I do love you.

-But there is demons that I fight with.

I'm tired of, now,
just being afraid of that fear.

I want love.
I wanna be married. I want that.
