[birds chirping]
- "Through the Woods."
[child laughs] [dog barks]
A snowy morning.
[birds chirping]
Do you think it snowed in the woods, too?
- I think so, Rider.
- What about at Grammy's?
Do you think it snowed over there?
- Bet it did, buddy.
- I can't wait to see!
C'mon, Wolfie!
[dog barks]
- Hang on.
Don't forget these.
[dog barks]
[woman smooches] [child giggles]
- And don't forget the--
- Got it!
Love you!
[dog barks]
[man laughs]
[dog barks] [feet crunching in snow]
[grunts] Whoa! [laughs]
I don't think we're in our woods anymore, Wolfie.
[dog barks]
I think we're in a new place,
a snowy place,
and it's called Winterlandia!
[dog barks]
Hiya, squirrel!
[squirrel chirps]
There are squirrels in Winterlandia
just like at home.
Look, paw prints.
[squirrel feet crunching in snow]
[snow swishing]
[bird chirping]
[wings fluttering]
Look, Wolfie.
This Winterlandia bird made footprints, too.
[feet crunching in snow] [bird chirping]
They look different than the squirrel's.
[dog nose snuffling]
And yours look different from the bird's.
[foot crunching in snow]
And mine look different from yours, huh?
[gasps] There's more!
[feet crunching in snow]
I wonder what animals made these footprints.
[bird screeching] [dog nose snuffling]
[dog barks]
One of them has a footprint
that's bigger than yours, Wolfie.
Do you think that means the animal is bigger than you?
[dog barks]
Could it be a lion?
Or a tiger?
Or maybe a snow leopard?
C'mon, let's find out!
[bird screeching]
[feet crunching in snow] [dog panting]
[dog grunts]
[gasps] Whoa!
It was them.
They made the footprints.
[dog growls]
Shhh.
[wind blows] [birds chirping]
Whoa!
[deer feet crunching in snow] [leaves swishing]
[dog panting] Let's go tell Grammy
what we saw in Winterlandia!
[feet crunching in snow]
[dog barks] - Hello, my Rider.
- Grammy, Grammy, Grammy!
We just saw deer!
- You did?
- Yes, and they were in the snow,
and there were three of them,
and it was amazing!
They looked at me.
- That is something very, very special to see, Rider.
You and Wolfie must've been very quiet.
- We were.
I think it was a momma and her babies,
or maybe a daddy and his babies.
- Did the grown-up one have antlers on its head?
- No, no antlers.
- Then I think it was a momma and her babies.
[child giggles]
- Oh, Dad said I should give you this.
What is it anyway?
- It's cocoa for hot chocolate.
Would you like some?
- Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!
- [laughs] Okay.
Now tell me more about what you saw in the woods.
[bird screeching]
