including Mew.

This is the story of their adventure-filled journey

through the world of Pokémon!

[camera shutter clicks]

[both babbling]

[babbling continues]

-Sorry to keep you waiting! -Huh?

-[Goh] Hey, Chloe! -[soft chuckle]

[Chloe breathes deeply]

This is where they're holding the Pokémon Circus.

[Chloe] Wow! It's just how I pictured it!

-[Goh] Yeah… -[Ash] Let's go!

[Pokémon exclaiming]

[Goh] I'm kind of nervous…

[narrator] At this circus,

Pokémon and their partners give dynamic

and crowd-pleasing performances

based on their skills.

After winning a raffle, Ash and Goh were invited

to be guest performers for the day.

[Chloe] Hello.

[all gasp]

-[Goh] Amazing! -[Ash] Awesome!

[Pikachu] Pikachu!

[both gasp]

[Chloe] It's an Eevee!

Start now!

[grunts]

[squeals]

[all gasp]

[Pokémon exclaim]

Excellent jump!

[happy exclaim]

-[all gasp] -Awesome!

Welcome to a world of dreams and adventure!

[Showman] I assume you two are Ash and Goh.

I happen to run the circus you see here.

Just call me the Showman!

Greetings… kids!

[Ash and Goh] Uh, greetings to you!

Our rehearsal. Your thoughts?

A circus that can cause the heart to race…

That's called adventure!

-[Chloe] Um… -Huh?

'Scuse me. My name is Chloe,

and Ash and Goh are my best friends.

Do you mind if Eevee and I watch the rehearsal too?

I saw that you're going to have a Jolteon and Flareon

performing in the circus, right?

I'd like to meet them if possible.

The truth is these Eevee are going to evolve soon.

[all gasp excitedly]

Two of our human performers, Harmony and Billy.

They're scheduled to be the finale,

performing on the flying trapeze.

Nice to meet you. I'm Harmony.

And I simply adore Fire types!

And this is my partner, Bernice.

[babbles]

And I'm Billy.

I love Electric types above everything else.

And this is my partner, Toril.

[babbles]

Performing with Fire types sets my heart ablaze!

We're talking hot!

Ha! Fire types are just so yesterday!

Electric types will continue to shock the world!

[annoyed groan]

Mark my words.

They're both vying to be a star.

We'll see who comes out ahead!

Does that mean they're rivals?

That's why it's so tense around here.

[Pokémon exclaiming]

You two, will you allow Chloe to witness

the Evolution of your Eevee, please?

Of course. No problem at all!

That's the reason why I even got an Evolution Stone in the first place.

And I just so happened to receive an Evolution Stone

as a gift from a friend of mine.

I'll be using this Fire Stone.

Bernice will then evolve into Flareon

and ignite a fiery hot performance!

I'm going to use this Thunder Stone

in order to evolve Toril into Jolteon

and create a crackling good performance!

Hold on! I'm first,

so don't try cutting in line!

You'd just better stay out of my way because I'm up first!

-[Harmony] No, I'm first! -[Billy] No, I am!

-[Harmony] What's your problem? -[Billy] What's yours?

-Bernice, come here! -Let's do this, Toril…

[both grunt, yelp]

[all gasping]

[both groaning]

[Bernice murmuring]

[Goh's Rotom] Jolteon. The Lightning Pokémon.

An Electric type.

Jolteon puts out an electric charge equivalent to , volts.

Quite high-strung, it's not easy to befriend.

[chimes]

Flareon. The Flame Pokémon.

A Fire type.

Flareon stores some of the air it breathes in an internal flame pouch,

where it heats the air to , degrees.

Bernice's an Electric type?

I can't believe it!

[Harmony] It's… a Jolteon?

[mumbles]

Toril evolved into… a Fire type?

-[Billy] A Flareon? -[groans]

-It can't be! -How am I going to deal with this?

-How? How? -This is all your fault!

You're responsible for this!

Do-over. I brought one more!

Hey, do-over! Just one more time!

[Harmony and Billy grunt]

-You mean there are no do-overs? -Does that mean it can't be done?

-Seriously? Now what? -What am I going to do now?

Will you get it together?

[both] Huh? Huh…

But how do we do a flaming trapeze performance like this? Tell me!

And I put together an entirely electrical performance!

What shall I do?

Without both of your performances, things will be bad…

Since there's not much time left,

why don't you just exchange Pokémon for the performance?

-[shocked gasp] -[heavy sigh]

Think of the Pokémon. Their feelings!

After all, that's what professionals should do, right?

Well, for the sake of the performance,

guess we'll have to at least give it a try.

[both groan]

[Harmony and Billy] Hmph!

Sorry for the preshow confusion, folks.

So, let's start rehearsing your part!

[Ash and Goh] Right!

[Showman] Okay, Ash and Goh, your parts will be…

[Ash groaning]

[groaning continues]

[Billy] This is a complete waste of rehearsal time.

[gasps]

They wanna be with their partners

even after they evolved, don't they?

[Ash] Who's that Pokémon?

[soft upbeat music]

[Pokémon exclaim]

[Pokémon grunting]

just can't accept working with a different partner?

Otherwise, it would mean a second-class performance

before paying customers.

If only my Toril had become Jolteon in the first place.

They created a brand-new performance just for you.

They combined their powers and practiced real hard!

[Harmony] Let's combine skills however we can…

[Billy] For a great performance!

[Bernice and Toril grunt]

[Billy] The show was a tremendous success!

[Ash] And awesomely fun too!

[Harmony] We're sorry to drag you in so suddenly, Chloe.

But thanks to you, we had a spectacular show!
