in the Galar region,

what kind of fossils they are!

and what adventures await upon their arrival?

Since I'm missing class,

she would like me to write a report about our trip.

I find that the path to the correct answer

is found by throwing out conventional wisdom

and looking at facts in a new way!

Long ago, this area was at the bottom of the sea.

Pokémon would have needed limbs

that made it easy to travel in water.

And this Pokémon, swimming near the seafloor,

would have had to have its head turned upward to make it easier to eat.

I'll name it Arctovish!

[Bray] I'll use this set of fossils.

My theory?

Long ago, this was a plain with nothing but stunted trees.

Flying Pokémon found that running was better than flying,

so they developed stronger legs.

So we have what I'm calling Dracozolt.

Huh.

I can see where he's going with this, but I'm not sure.

Makes sense calling them odd.

We've gathered all the fossils we need

so start getting them restored!

That sounds good.

[cheerful music]

[Bray] They don't seem to fit like they should.

Then the separate fossils are converted

into light particles and reconstructed.

To put it simply,

they all fit together like a puzzle.

They then come out completely restored!

[Goh] Hmm?

So when does it supposed to all finish up?

In two hours.

Or maybe four hours.

-Now what? What do we do? -Hmm.

I know. We could make some lunch.

Time for camping food!

It used its freezing body

to make sure its food stayed icy cold!

Quite odd.

The name now? It's called…

With its strong legs and those powerful jaws,

it must've ruled the plains without equal!

But when it ate all of its own food,

That must be how it happened!

[grunts]

-[screams] -Pika!

-Whoa! -[Pikachu yells]

[Ash] Come on! Knock it off, please!
