08x06 - The Scuffle of Legends

NARRATOR The battle between Team Magma and Team Aqua continues to rage

over their respective attempts to dominate the world

using the power of the ancient Pokémon, Groudon and Kyogre.

Team Magma holds the Blue Orb

capable of controlling Groudon.

However, it's Kyogre they held c*ptive.

But Shelly, a member of Team Aqua

managed to free Kyogre

releasing it to the sea.

Using the Red Orb to control Kyogre

Team Magma was attacked by Archie, leader of Team Aqua.

And having captured Groudon

Team Aqua was close to having

both Ancient Pokémon in their grasp.

Meanwhile, working undercover to stop both sides

from succeeding was Lance, of the famed Pokémon G-Men.

Our heroes were struggling desperately against Team Magma

even managing to steal the Blue Orb.

But without warning

Pikachu somehow unexpectedly bonded with it.

Will Ash be able to help Pikachu?

And by using Kyogre, will Team Aqua's fiendish dream

of taking over the entire world be realized?

to prevent mankind from repeating the same mistakes.

those Orbs, and we've arrived at the conclusion

that only those who are weak

can find their hearts possessed by them.

We need those Ancient Pokémon.

They're necessary for us to build

'a better world for everyone.'

Which we grab a ride on with the submarine. Ta da!

And then we're out of here with both the submarine

and the Groudon.

I suppose it's possible.

I guess we're seeing a whole new side.

It broke right through the tidal wave.

Groudon's just as powerful.

[ANGRY]

Tabitha, Groudon is an amazing Pokémon.

We were fools to believe we could actually control

'that kind of power.'

But wait, if Kyogre is capable of the same kind of power

then Archie is..

Uh, this makes no sense.

Why would Groudon launch a Solar Beam

to stop Kyogre's tidal wave?

Groudon is attempting to stop Kyogre

from destroying this island.

- It is? It's helping us? - Yes.

But in order to do that Groudon first needed to get out

of Team Aqua's cargo container.

So Groudon used the Blue Orb to ask Pikachu for help.

Oh, yeah.

And that's why the Blue Orb

bonded with Pikachu, right?

It isn't safe.

You've got to go while Groudon's holding off Kyogre.

There's not much time.

No, Lance. You take care of the others.

I'm staying here on the island.

There's no way I could run off and leave it here all alone.

I don't care what it takes, I'm gonna help.

Even if I have to battle Kyogre and Groudon by myself.

That attack will be super strong

against a Ground type like Groudon.

Pikachu's Electric attack stopped it.

Alright, Ash, I think you should ride with me on Dragonite

while the rest of you go ahead and hop on Gyarados, okay?

We'll approach Groudon and wait

for the perfect opportunity to save Pikachu.

'See if the three of you can distract Kyogre and Archie.'

Somehow we got to distract Archie

and attack at the same time.

give them what they deserve for interfering.

He fell for it.

just vanished into thin air.

Looks like the Orbs are doing some kinda dance.

Look, the lava all cooled off

and now there's a lot more land.

And history repeats itself as once again

Groudon and Kyogre have created a new world.

'The legend that Groudon and Kyogre'

'would embody Mother Nature'

'and take control over land and sea.'

But if humans try using the Blue

and Red Orbs to control them.

Then, they'd have no choice but to destroy the Orbs.

It's as if they were telling us that Mother Nature

will not be controlled by selfish desire.

That's cool, but I wonder, think we'll ever see 'em again?

NARRATOR As the sun sets on one of the most fierce battles

our world has ever seen
