14x09 - Our Parents Will Cry Themselves to Death

Post by bunniefuu »

- Previously on "The Amazing Race",

five teams flew from Puket, Thailand

to the capital city of Bangkok.

Teams karaoke with the locals.

[all singing]

Mark and Michael.

- We have to get our backpacks.

- And Kisha and Jen.

- We got the packs?

- Its at the thing, I told you.

- We need it.

- Both made up costly mistake.

- Our passports and stuff are in there.

- Margie showed off her mechanical skills at the roadblock.

- Can you come check, come check.

- Okay. - Yay.

- Then took charge at the detour.

- Here we go, here we go.

Yes.

- Which resulted in their third first place finish.

You are team number one.

[Margie and Luke cheering]

- Mark and Michael continue to break rules of the race.

- Maybe I give you some things for my bag.

I give you this.

Yeah, very expensive.

- This time incurring a four hour penalty.

You broke a race rule by using your personal possessions

to settle a bill? - Yes, we did.

You have done that twice,

which means the total penalties add up to four hours,

but we're spared elimination.

There is a speed bump.

It's long way back guys.

Coming up tonight,

the race heats up as Jen and Luke face off.

- Oh, bitch.

- Leading to the most memorable pit stop ever.

- She called him a bitch.

- I called him a because it was a bitch move.

["The Amazing Race" theme music]

- This is Bangkok, Thailand,

built amid a vast system of canals and rivers,

it is known as the Venice of the East

and on the banks of the Samsang Canal, Piatti Palace.

This former Royal palace was the eighth pit stop

in a race around the world.

Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg

for a mandatory rest period.

The five teams waiting here, have no idea

what is in store for them.

Margie and Luke who are the first to arrive

will depart at : AM.

- Make your way to Guilin, China.

- Teams must now fly over miles to Guilin, China.

When they land, teams will travel by taxi

to the street, Qing xiu Lu,

and find this hair salon where they'll find their next clue.

- Let's go, we gotta find a cab.

Go, go, go, go.

Airport?

Could we borrow your cell phone?

Do you know what airline flies to Guilin?

It's nice for me for being here in a different country

where people don't speak English.

That way we both are in the same boat.

It's kind of eye opening for me.

Yeah, good.

Ring, ring, ring.

We'll just get to a travel agent once we get to the airport.

Thank you.

Find a travel agent.

We need to go through this city first.

- Oh, Guangzhou, yes we have.

- And then do you go Guangzhou to here?

- Yes. - Guilin, okay.

We need the first flight.

- Depart from Guangzhou about :.

- Okay, it's two, please.

We have tickets right now from Bangkok to Guangzhou

at :, which is in an hour.

Okay, let's go.

I don't think any other team has any chance

of making this flight.

- Make your way to Guilin, China.

- Oh grab him, grab him.

- Airport? - Get to the airport?

- The only thing I know about China is it is very populated,

which that's not one of my favorite things.

- It would be easier if we did not yell

at the taxi cab drivers,

but that is how Jaime communicates.

If it were up to me,

we would have a more calm tone with the drivers.

I know that if I get in the middle of it,

it's not gonna do anything

except drive her to be even more upset.

We are going to be positive and have good attitudes.

- Make your way to Guilin, China.

I've been there. - I told you, China.

- I went there for spring break two years ago.

We're going to the airport.

- Yeah. Fast as we can.

- Yeah fast.

- We get to speak Chinese now.

- And we're really excited because.

- We're Chinese. - We're Chinese.

And I've actually been there before.

- Bye bye.

Here, here, Kenya Airline.

- :, can we buy for the :?

- To Guangzhou? - Yes, please.

Once we get to Guangzhou, we need to get to Guilin, China.

- There is a connecting flight at :.

- Thank you for your help.

- Thank you so much.

- Bye bye.

Wonder if Luke and Margie got the : in minutes?

- I don't think anyone else

can possibly make this flight.

- Ticketing.

Guangzhou, Kenya airlines.

- Should we do that? - Oh, at one .

- Let's do that. - Kenya.

- Here.

- We need two tickets to Guangzhou.

The next flight, the :.

We need the first flight we can get to Guilin

after that today. - Yes.

- We're in a competition though.

- And we have to win. - Yeah.

- There is one flight leaving from Guangzhou at :.

- Perfect, thank you so much.

- Make your way to Guilin, China.

- Bangkok airport.

- Okay, do you have mobile?

Mobile?

- That sucks.

This is the ninth leg.

We're down in five teams.

That's when the competitive nature comes out in me.

If I see somebody in front of me,

I'm gonna knock 'em over.

We just got a little bit of a cushion

knowing that mark and Mickey are behind us.

- We're on board Kenya airlines right now

on our flight from Bangkok to Guangzhou

and on the flight with us are Jaime and Cara.

- Is there any way you can help us

find the quickest flight to Guilin, China?

- You may take : today to

and connect at :.

- Can you book all of that for us?

- Yes ma'am. - Okay.

- Thank you.

- We made it to China.

We have plenty of time till our next flight.

I think the other teams are gonna catch up.

- Make your way to Guilin, China.

- Okay. let's get a cab.

Let's see.

The airport?

Fly to China.

We're about four hours plus behind everybody else

in the last place.

- We incurred two, two hour penalties.

- And a speed bump.

- For selling personal items to pay a cab.

We came here to be in the game.

And so we just have a little extra something to do.

You know, we just gotta make some right decisions.

Yeah, so now we go, China.

- Are we the only one here?

- Thank you, let's get our ticket.

I need a ticket.

- To Guilin, China, the time is :

- Oh :. - Thank you.

- Just arrived at Guangzhou airport.

- We are going to find our next flight,

which is on China Southern.

- We have tickets on the : flight.

- Okay, what is this?

- Our flight leaving Guangzhou was delayed.

- There's Margie and Luke.

Oh, yay.

Oh, hello.

It's delayed.

- Still haven't seen anybody.

So this should be fun.

- It's :.

And our flight was supposed to leave at :.

It's late, Jennifer and Kisha may be on a different flight.

- Shinzing airlines, our plane departs at :.

We are leaving from Guangzhou, heading to Guilin, China.

We have not seen any other teams all day long.

- Let's go, ready?

Let's go here. - Here.

Taxi.

- Do you know where this is?

Qing Xiu Lu. - Okay.

- There was nobody on our flight,

so we don't know what the hell is going on right now.

- Go, go, go, go.

- Come on. Let's go, exit.

Let's go.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Victor and I are in the first cab in our flight,

leaving Guangzhou was delayed.

- Can you follow them?

You have to stay with that other cab.

Our flight was delayed.

Jen and Kisha and Mike and Mark.

We have no idea what flights they got on.

We need to go very fast, okay.

- We don't even know if we're really going

where we're supposed to be going, but okay.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- It feels so good to be in a country

where we speak the language

and none of the other teams do.

- We're little bit worried,

because Tammy and Victor both speak Mandarin.

He'd like to go to a country

where all the people are deaf and all the people sign

so he would have the advantage.

- I think it's gonna be a really competitive leg.

Almost like keeping your friends close

and your enemies closer.

- Down the crunch time.

This is when you have to step up.

- Okay, Qing Xiu Lu.

- It's in there?

Excuse me, is this Qing Xiu Lu?

Do you know hair salon hair?

Can you show us? - I don't think he has.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Kisha and Jen they're plane landed before ours.

- Okay, we have to b*at them, b*at them.

- Jennifer and Kisha are on foot

asking for directions

and think our cab driver knows where it is.

He's not exactly sure.

[speaking in a foreign language]

Even though we communicate with our cab driver,

all it means is that we understand him

when he says he doesn't know where we're going.

- Shook her head right away when I showed it to her.

Not like confused.

- She probably gets her hair done there.

- Oh this is the street.

Let's cruise and see a marked window.

- Here it is, let's go.

- Yes, Mark and Mike.

Route info. - Route info.

- Teams must now travel to the number bridge

on the banks of the Lee river

where they'll find their next clue.

- Okay.

There's our taxi.

Wait, wait, wait.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- We go here? - Jaime and Cara.

- In front of us.

- Tammy and Victor are just getting to the hair salon.

We need to get there.

- Make your way to bridge.

- You go here. - Oh, okay.

- Thank you.

- We're gonna be ahead of them.

- Tammy and Victor might be able to speak Chinese

to their person and they're right there.

- Let's follow theirs quickly.

Just in case.

- Jaime and Cara are right behind us.

Other teams really haven't solicited

that much advice or language help from us.

- So far it's working for Jaime and Cara.

- Yeah, they're doing just fine without us.

- Does make us feel better

to see Tammy and Victor just pull up.

We had a taxi driver who knew

exactly like the right area

and that's a change for us.

- The ultimate workout, running around the world.

We just landed in Guilin, China.

- I need to get to Qing Xiu Lu.

- I'm very optimistic.

And I'd like to keep a positive attitude.

- Go, go, go.

- That's Margie and Luke.

- Let's just get another taxi.

Qing Xiu Lu. - Okay.

- You know, you can follow him.

- I don't trust Margie and Luke.

They steered us in the wrong direction

when we were in Bangkok.

So we're gonna be battling head to head with them.

- Our taxi driver is asking someone for directions.

- Don't tell him, don't tell him.

- He told you wrong directions, didn't he?

- Yeah. Yeah.

- We've lost a lot of time.

- All right, as long as we keep him within eye distance.

- I think the degree of Luke's competitiveness

is a surprise to me.

I've never seen him like this before.

- Here. - Where, where, where, where?

Go, get up, where?

Come come.

- There go Margie and Luke.

- Yeah, please.

- Speed bump, mama, speed bump.

- Where's the clue box?

Haircut?

- Where's the clue box?

Do you see the clue box?

Where's the clue box?

I don't think this is it, but that's not marked.

- We both spot the clue at the same time.

- I yelled mom.

I went running.

- We just charged it pretty much at the same time.

- Oh, bitch.

- Ooh, wow.

- When I went to grab the clue, she pushed me.

- He pretty much body checked me.

He like, he gave me an elbow

and I called him a bitch, because it was a bitch move.

Bitch. - Wow.

- No, you can't be, because we can't push.

Luke definitely like bumped her twice.

She called you a bitch.

Jen. - Oh.

- Game on, they're b*tches.

- Good thing I'm deaf.

If I had heard her yell at me and called me a bitch,

it would've been on.

- Oh.

Bitch. - Wow.

- Make your way to bridge.

- Make your way to the bridge.

Come on, follow them.

- I didn't expect that from her.

That's just wrong.

- Luke is a bitch.

- Oh that it was bad sportsmanship on their part.

That wasn't cool at all.

Unacceptable.

- You can't be, because you can't push.

- If we get a chance to U-turn,

we're definitely U-turning them.

Game on b*tches.

- Now they're following us.

- How do we get down there? - Right there.

- Okay, come on.

- Roadblock.

- In this roadblock, one team member

has to take part in Guilin's fishing industry,

but they'll have to learn to do things

the old fashioned way.

Teams will take a raft out to the middle of the river,

where with the help of a local,

they'll train these birds known as Cormorants

to retrieve fish.

Once they get their Cormorant to return

with a fish times

the trainer will hand them their next clue.

- Who's ready for some fowl play.

- I'll do it.

- She can speak Chinese to them.

So hopefully that means she can learn it faster.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- This is the bridge, okay.

- Wait, wait, wait.

- Wait. Yes this is it.

- Roadblock, who's ready for some fowl play?

I'll do it. - Okay. come on.

- Okay. Can we go?

Let us go.

- Gosh it's cold.

- You're gonna do great, Tammy.

You're number one.

You see the fish behind you?

- Yep, they are kind of gross.

- There they are.

- One of these ladies here might know.

- Hi ladies.

I'm trying to get here.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- I wish I knew what she was saying.

- I know she's so nice.

- I think our cabs are best.

Come on, taxi.

I'm trying to get to here.

Go, go, go, go.

- You do it once.

I'm sure Margie and Luke will do it again.

- Is this bridge.

- This must be it right here.

- Go, go, go, go.

- Come on. - You gotta go here.

- Kisha.

Here, okay, go fast, go fast.

All right, let's go.

- Let's go, let's go.

- My momentum carried me into the clue box.

- She grabbed my arm and pushed me back.

Kisha cut it out.

- He pushed her at the last thing.

Unacceptable, unacceptable.

- You pushed.

- Who's ready for some fowl play?

- Who's ready for some fowl play?

- Don't let it get you mad and get you all upset.

- This is getting ugly.

- What's wrong with that woman?

- You should saying the fight

that we've just had between Luke and I.

He pushed her into the clue box.

- Oh, those birds are so cool.

When I think of birds and smelly fish,

I think of you. - Oh thanks.

- Watch, you can do this.

Oh good job.

- He's not getting it.

- My birds were very uncooperative.

The first couple of fish I threw out,

they weren't able to find.

My bird is struggling a little bit.

- Make sure you communicate with the bird.

- Right here, right there.

- Tammy, they only understand Chinese.

- Little fish. - They're big one.

- They're big fish.

They're slippery suckers.

He's trying to carry it.

It's so cute.

- It was amazing that they were able to train them

to not eat the fish.

I mean, I know if someone's tossed filet mignon in my mouth,

I do not believe that I would give it back.

Thank you.

- There are these retriever birds,

where you know, you toss the fish out into the water

and you know, they go get it and bring it back.

- And she's usually ready for fowl play.

So I said she should do it.

- Yay.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Oh, put that away.

Good job, Tammy.

Good job.

- No, no, no fighting.

No fighting.

You're doing great, James.

Okay, one for you.

- There's a salon right next.

- Is that a marking right there?

- All right, stop stop.

- Here's our speed bump.

- In this speed bump,

Mark and Michael must work as stylists at this salon,

washing and drying hair of these two waiting women.

When Mark and Michael clean and dry both customers hair.

They'll be able to continue on the race

with the hope of making up this valuable lost time.

- Oh, here's our, here's our girls right here.

All right, sweet.

Michael, knock this one out.

- Oh, this speed bump was a gas.

We had to basically just shampoo, wash and dry.

These two wonderful little old ladies hair.

- That's good, that's good.

I felt like I was giving my mom a shampoo and dry.

- Exactly.

- Keep it outta her eyes, Mike.

I'm grooving.

My dad's a hair stylist, by the way.

I give her a good massage.

Yep, was good?

Yeah, she's smiling.

All right.

- Good job, good job.

- Let go, seven.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Okay, how many do you have?

- Six, here bird.

Come here bird.

There you go, Jaime.

- Six, four more babes.

- All right, let's go.

Wait til he tells you.

- Ow, ow.

- Oh no, did Luke get bitten?

It hurt, he bit him.

Dumb bird.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- They're fighting for the fish.

They're sabotaging each other.

- Oh, come on, little birds.

- Work as a team.

- Okay.

- Let's see your last one, Jaime.

- That's it, one more.

- You got it, Jamie, come on.

This is it, Jaime.

- One more Jen.

One more, you got it.

- This is so disgusting.

- All right, good job.

- That's that's .

All right, here we go, .

- Come here bird.

- Okay, let's go.

- Pass me the basket.

- I'm ready to go back.

- We have to go back with the basket.

Okay. go back, very fast.

- Yeah, let's go, let's go.

- Girls are done.

- They are? - Yeah.

- We gotta go that way.

We gotta go back to shore.

- I smell stinky now.

- Right here, right here.

- . - .

- Thank you.

- Make your way to ancient south gate.

- Teams must now race through Guilin

to this year old structure, the ancient south gate.

It's here where they'll find their next clue.

- Ancient south gate. - Okay.

- Okay. - Fast, fast, please.

- My ass is wet.

We're actually the first one's out.

Margie and Luke, I really believe in karma.

- Ow, ow.

- It was extremely bad sportsmanship.

- It's good?

Thank you.

Make your way to ancient south gate

and search for your next clue.

- Oh, there, right there. - Okay.

- Very fast.

- She gets it now, she gets it now.

I'm excited because our taxi driver

has now realized we are in a race

and it's amazing how much faster her taxi seems to go.

- Yeah. Okay.

- Go fast, go fast.

- Mom. - Way to go.

Good job guys, go fast.

The task was okay.

The bird bit me and it hurts.

- Ow.

- Now they're all passing us.

[speaking in a foreign language]

Tammy, count the fish.

How many do you have? - Just one more.

- Where's the bird? - sh**t.

- The birds are flying away.

- My bird ran away.

- Now both birds have decided to fly away.

We need the birds to come back.

They're so disobedient.

- Oh, I wanna get my haircut washed next.

- I know.

- Massage.

- Cool, Mike, Mike, come on.

- Make your way to the bridge Qangwan village.

I think she enjoyed it more than I did.

That was a trip, it was fun.

- sh**t. - Okay.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Oh, come on little birds.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Okay, Tammy, grab it.

Good job, Tammy, good job.

We do a lot better now.

We've learned to not like att*ck each other.

You know, as long as we're working together, it works out.

Take the basket onto the boat with me.

- Okay. - Get on.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- That was gross. - Margie.

Did you not do it yet?

- Yeah, we're done.

Everybody's done.

We just like cab drivers.

We get the slow boat driver too.

- We could b*at them, come on.

- Let's go.

- Make your way to ancient south gate

and search for your next clue

- Okay.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Thank you.

Make your way to ancient south gate

and search for your next clue.

It was fun until the bird bit me.

- I'm not quite sure, but as we were on the boat,

Jennifer said something about Luke body checking her

- Into the clue box.

- Into the clue box, I'm not quite sure.

- Now I think Margie and Luke

are the team that we definitely

are out for at this moment.

- That was just dirty and unnecessary.

- She said you pushed her first

at the other place.

- I didn't

- If they think that's what it takes to win,

then by all means you play your game that way.

- She came up from behind pushed you.

- I think I'll piss him off more,

because I'll laugh in your face.

I think Margie and Luke are the team

that we definitely are out for at this moment.

- She said you pushed her first at the other place.

- I didn't.

- That was just dirty and unnecessary.

- Just forget about it, forget about it.

- We are going to the ancient.

- South ancient gate. - South ancient gate.

- Okay, thank you.

Where's the clue box?

Do you see the clue box?

Here, right here, Jen.

Detour.

- In this detour teams have to choose

between two ways that people

of Guilin express themselves artistically.

The choice, choreography or calligraphy.

In choreography teams must join

in a popular exercise in Guilin.

Dancing.

They'll make their way to the central island.

Join a group of locals performing

their morning dance routine and learn the dance.

Then they'll perform the dance together

for a pair of judges.

If they execute their moves correctly,

the judge will hand them their next clue.

Learning a dance routine can be a very daunting task,

but teams with good rhythm

could find themselves quickly shuffling off

to their next destination.

In calligraphy, teams must try their hand

at this intricate and ancient Chinese art.

They'll make their way across the twin bridges

and find the first of four calligraphy stations.

They'll copy a series of Chinese characters,

which form the name of their next artist station.

When they successfully reach the fourth and final station,

the artist will hand them their next clue.

The Chinese characters are intricate

and if teams copy them incorrectly,

they could find themselves literally lost in translation.

- Choreography or calligraphy.

I say calligraphy.

Make your way on foot across the twin bridges.

- This way. - Okay.

- There?

- Okay, here, here.

- Ready? - Yep.

- Choreography or calligraphy?

- Dancing. - Dancing.

- Definitely choreography. - Choreography.

- I have the most atrocious handwriting

on the plan of earth.

Like in college, I could not even read my own notes.

- Central island it's that way.

- Do you see the clue box?

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Mom? - We're doing the calligraphy.

- We didn't pick dancing,

because it said when the music starts

start dancing, but I can't hear.

I don't know when the music starts.

- Right here. - Hurry, hurry, hurry.

- Choreography or calligraphy?

I think would your calligraphy?

- I think so too,

because choreography will be hard for us I think.

Make your way it across to twin bridges.

- Find the first of four calligraphers.

- Speed bump didn't take us anywhere out of our way.

Everybody had to go to the salon.

You gotta have a little bit of optimism

to stay in this game and keep pushing forward.

- Oh perfect. - Bridge.

- All right. - Down here, you see it?

- Nice.

- Who's ready for some fowl play?

That's you. - Fowl is fish.

- I mean that's yeah. - Fishing, fishing.

- Fowl is duck. - That's fine.

Okay, go.

- You want me to go fishing?

You're going fishing.

Let's go, go, go.

- Excuse me. - You hear that?

- I hear it.

- They're dancing.

Oh, Cara.

This is interesting dancing.

- We need to pick a couple.

Can you teach us?

Thank you, okay.

- We're gonna dance together.

One, two, three, four,

- One. - Oh, one.

So it's like a grapevine, Jaime.

Like the grapevine.

- Again

- People are here.

Use the provided pad and brush

and write down the Chinese character.

- Come on, mom, go, go.

- Margie and Luke are with us.

- Where are the provided pads?

- Come on mom.

- We put ink in the thing.

Come on, Jen.

We have to b*at Margie and Luke.

- Mom, go, go.

- I see Luke.

They're all writing.

- Everyone's writing? - Yep.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Just copy him.

- We are writing calligraphy in Chinese.

Sadly, Victor and I did not pay attention in Chinese school.

- Can we try together?

You want.

- You do it too with us?

- One, two? - No, no, no.

- Yeah, yeah.

- That is what we're doing, okay.

- Jamie and I met as Miami Dolphins cheerleaders.

Having experience with choreography,

we are very trained to do exactly what we are taught

down to the T.

- Boy they're really manhandling us aren't they?

- Okay. Okay.

- She's really man handling me.

- Okay, let's go.

Throw a fish.

Mike, throw it, throw it, throw it.

It's amazing.

Mike, you're doing good.

Yanked that bad boy out his mouth.

Grab it, two hands.

- No it's mine, it's mine.

- Ata boy.

- You got to the detour, you had to copy

what the calligrapher was writing.

And then if he deemed what you wrote was correct,

then he would give you a stamp

and then you could move on to the next location.

And the location was what you had written.

- The name of the next location.

- Thank you.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Oh he stamps that side and we go to the next one.

Got it.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Let's try it this way.

Maybe there's a sign down here.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Stay with us.

- Thank you, go, go, go.

- One, two, three, four, five and turn.

Twirl in and we go back.

- Okay let's do it. - Yes.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- I think he said this one.

- We are cheerleaders.

You get trained to pick up choreography at a quicker pace.

That was a slight advantage.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Yeah, whatever they said.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Five characters. - What did you tell her?

- What does it matter.

- That's not right.

- It's okay, just keep going.

- No, no they're saying no.

We're not doing something right, Cara.

I think it's hilarious that we're in a race

and they're laughing.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Go, go, go, go.

- Come on, mom, let's go, go, go.

- Thank you, come on.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Tammy and Victor could speak the language

so we would just follow them.

We don't read Chinese.

So we kept an eye on Tammy and Victor.

- I think they just knew

that if you follow Victor and Tammy

then we'll get to the right place.

- It's the right place.

- Come on, Mom, go, go.

- One, two, just walk over em, I don't care.

One, two, three, four.

- We're ticking people off with our dancing.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- That should have been a little higher.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Thank you. - Thank you.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Last part, last part.

- Mike, you're doing good.

- That a boy, there you go.

There he goes, all right Mike, get it.

- Come on, that's .

- Okay let's go.

Gotta catch up.

- So let's go rock and roll.

- Thank you, sir.

Thank you. - All right.

- Ancient south gate.

- That was very unusual task, but very cool.

- Let's go.

- Back to back. - Uh-huh.

- No. - Huh?

- No.

- Well, what is the problem?

Do you speak any English whatsoever?

Anyone speak English?

- Oh my gosh, it's unbelievable.

- But what is wrong?

- Is the problem the steps or that we have to keep going?

- She did not speak English at all.

Frustrating.

- Okay, we're gonna have to leave this.

- We're leaving, goodbye. - You guys goodbye.

- It's unbelievable.

- Oh my gosh. - All right, let's go back.

- The lady just said this way.

This is it right here, woman.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- Do you think we need to do it back to back to back. Cara

without stopping?

You think we need to keep going until the music stops?

- We wanna try it one more time, just back to back?

- But we just keep going though.

You know what I mean? - Let's go.

- We're making our way to ancient south gate.

Our cab driver's great.

She knew how to get us here

and I feel pretty confident with her.

[speaking a foreign language]

- Hurry, hurry, hurry.

- Travel by foot to your next pit stop.

- Teams must now make their way to Banyan Lake

and find the view depicted in the picture.

Nestled in the shadow of the famous sun and moon Pagodas

this lakeside spot is the pit stop

for this leg of the race.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- Make sure we have foot.

- Thank you.

Travel by foot to your next pit stop.

- Put the stamp.

Travel by foot to your next pit stop.

[speaking in a foreign language]

- There they are in sight right there.

See. Try hard.

We're right there.

Come on, Tammy.

- Let's go, baby.

- Jen.

- We got three teams all together.

- Mom.

- We b*at Margie and Luke.

Good job, Jen.

- Good job.

- Welcome to Guilin, China.

- Thank you.

- Kisha and Jen, you are team number one.

- Yeah. - Good job.

- Tammy and Victor, that would make you team number two.

- Good, that's good.

Good job.

- Margie and Luke, you are team number three.

- Good job.

- Congratulations.

I have some good news for you guys.

As the winners of this leg of the race,

you have won a trip for two from Travelocity to Barbados.

- Awesome.

- You'll spend five nights in an oceanfront suite

in the Armand Casa Rita Spa and Resort

where you'll hit the spa, swim with turtles,

take a submarine tour and go on an adventure safari.

- That's nice. - Very nice.

- I feel like things are getting a little more tense now

as we're getting closer to the finish.

- Competition is definitely stiff.

- But it's good spirited fun competition thing.

- No, not, no it's not.

- He was at the box first.

She came up from behind and shoved Luke.

- After he pushed her.

- And then she called him a bitch.

- She yelled it.

- I'm not gonna lie, I did.

- Do you think there could have been a misunderstanding

if you were going for the clue box?

- We were going for the clue box at the hair salon.

We both saw it together.

He put his butt out, almost got an elbow to the face.

He moved out of the way.

I got the clue box.

I called him a bitch, because it was a bitch move.

Jen bashed into him from behind,

reached over him, grabbed him.

- Then at the road block,

we were going to the clue box,

I somehow got in front of him.

I tried to catch my balance

and that's when I ran into the clue box.

- Luke, come together with your Mom here,

so I can hear your side of the story.

- Stop.

- Don't laugh at my son.

- I'm smiling. - I'm sorry, but that's rude.

- I'm smiling because that's what we do, we smile.

- No, you weren't smiling.

You were laughing.

And if you laugh at my son again.

- I smile and I laugh and that's okay.

- He's signing and they're laughing at him.

Yes they are.

I'm not gonna put up with this.

- I don't think that's what they meant.

- That's exactly what they were doing.

- When he was signing angrily,

they started laughing and that is just rude.

He's lived with this his whole life

and he doesn't need it from people like you.

- Margie, Margie.

- You should understand oppression,

because you're black you've lived with it.

He has lived with just as much.

- Yeah, he's had it his whole life and you don't understand.

- I always smile, laugh, especially in tense situations.

I apologize if there was a misunderstanding

thinking we were laughing at you.

- All hearing people put deaf people down.

They think we're stupid.

- Right.

- This is how he expresses himself.

And when people take it and laugh at the way.

- Margie, no one's laughing at Luke, plain and simple.

- It's a competition you know.

People are gonna get aggressive

and you can give us evil looks.

And we will just look at you and smile

and might piss you off more.

- Jennifer and Kisha were just over there laughing

and ha ha, you know, because I think they felt like,

oh, we got away with something.

So, it's just been a bad day.

And I just want it to be over.

- One, two, three, four.

One two, three, four.

One, two, three, four.

- The reason we weren't progressing was because

we would do the routine just once.

And they wanted us to keep going

throughout the entirety of the music.

So we did.

[all clapping]

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Travel by foot to your next pit stop.

- I hope this is the right way.

- I see it, that's it. - I see them.

- I think I see it. - Let's go.

Come on.

- Welcome to Guilin, China.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Jaime and Cara, you're our team number four.

- Were there five on this leg?

- Yes, there were. - Okay.

- Let's go.

- Okay.

- Should we go try it?

Let's go try it.

[mellow music]

- Welcome to Guilin, China.

- Thank you. - Thank you so much.

- Mark and Michael, you are the last team to arrive.

I'm sorry to tell you,

you have been eliminated from the race.

- It was a good race. - Yeah it was fun.

- You guys ran it hard all the way to the end.

- We made mistakes like any other human,

but all in all it was a great dash around the world.

Doing "The Amazing Race" with my brother

was definitely special.

You know, he hung in there tough

and we definitely created a very strong team

to finish where we did and he was in this race

and I wouldn't pick anybody else besides him.

- This great race has definitely made me a better person.

It's humbled me a little bit.

I always need to come back to the right size that I am

and it's shown me places and people

that I wouldn't otherwise experience.

This world's an amazing place.

[mellow music]

- Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on "The Amazing Race".

- Oh!

- Teams get a relaxing foot massage.

- I don't know what kind of massage this is

but I never want it again.

- Ow, I feel like having a baby's gotta be easier than this.

- And when Jen faces her fear of water,

she reaches her breaking point.

- I don't wanna do this.

- Come on, what do you want to do?

- I wanna go home.
