This is Cusco, Peru.
Once the capital of the Inca Empire,
It's one of the oldest cities in the Western hemisphere.
And in the heart of the city, La Merced.
This -year-old church was the first pit stop
in a race around the world.
Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg
for a mandatory rest period.
Will Rob and Amber continue to use
their Survivor notoriety to get ahead?
And can Ron and Kelly climb out of last place
after narrowly escaping elimination?

This small city is also known as the White City
because most of the buildings
are made of white volcanic stone.
Once there, the teams must find this shoe shine union
to receive their next clue.

- The chemistry went off pretty fast

and we kinda started a friendship.

They're a lot more like Heidi and I
than we would have even thought.
We just all really got along.

nearly two miles to this bookstore.
Then, in this country known for Nobel-Prize-winning authors,
teams will have to deliver books,
eight blocks to the Library of Congress
where they'll receive their next clue.
