♪ Our pet pal Stuff is set to help and to play ♪

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff ♪ - ♪ Let's go to dog school ♪

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff ♪ - ♪ Let's go to dog school ♪

♪ When I say "ready," you say "ruff" ♪

[barks]

- ♪ Mutt & Stuff, Mutt & Stuff ♪

- ♪ Bark along and put your paws up ♪

♪ Pets can't seem to get enough of ♪

♪ Calvin and his pups ♪

♪ Mutt & Stuff ♪

[playful music]

- Hmm.

Uh.

See anything, Noodles?

♪ ♪

- Nope! Not yet.

- Ah! Going on a safari and looking for wild animals

is so much fun! - Yeah!

- Even a pretend safari at Mutt & Stuff.

[chuckles]

- Oh, Stuff! Stuff!

Look over there! - What? Where?

- I think I see an elephant!

- Ooh! They're so much bigger in person!

- Yeah!

- Oh! And look!

A hippo is at the watering hole.

- More like the watering bowl!

[both laughing]

♪ ♪

- Oh! There's a lion!

I love lions!

- You know, that lion looks an awful lot like Sonny.

- Huh.

[barks] - [gasps]

What's that?

I've never seen a creature like that one before!

- [barks]

- Noodles, that's Zippy.

- Huh? - He's a dog.

- Oh, right. [laughs]

Hi, Zippy! - [barks]

- That's right, Zippy!

Time to get Calvin!

[chuckles]

♪ ♪

[dogs barking]

♪ ♪

[alarm blaring]

[gears whirring]

♪ ♪

- Hi, I'm Calvin!

Welcome to Mutt & Stuff!

Who's ready for safari day?

- [barks]

- That's the funniest lion roar I've ever heard!

[both chuckle]

- That's the only lion roar I've ever heard!

- Well, not for long, Stuff.

Because today, we're going on a real safari!

- Oh, boy!

- A real safari?

With real lions?

- For real, Stuff!

- [laughs] - I finally get to see a lion!

Oh, Calvin!

This day is gonna be so much fun!

- Yeah! - Whoo!

- Come on! It's time to get the safari day started!

♪ ♪

- Hey, Marty?

- Yeah, Sid?

- The dogs are going on a safari

to find some animals.

- It's not easy finding animals in the wild.

- Oh, yeah?

Well, I just found three of 'em.

♪ ♪

- Oh, brother.

- [chuckles] I'm pretty good at this stuff.

[chuckles] - Yeah.

- A camera for Zippy.

And a camera for Rocket.

There. Now that all of you have cameras,

you'll want to take a lot of pictures on the safari!

- Ooh! Calvin!

Say cheese!

[chuckles]

- Did someone say cheese?

- No. No cheese, Noodles,

but here's a teeny-tiny camera.

- [gasps] - For you!

- Oh! It's so small and cute!

Just like me! [chuckles]

- Hey, Calvin! Do you know how to find a lion on our safari?

- I don't, but I know who does!

My friend, Sally Safari!

She's training to be a safari guide.

- Oh, cool!

Um.

What's a safari guide?

- Safari guides help find an animal

so we can take a picture of it.

- Ooh, like a picture of a lion?

- Now you're getting it, Stuff!

But our safari is very special

because we're helping Sally

get her safari guide badge!

- Oh, boy! - Oh, neat-o!

[dogs barking]

To get her badge, she has to do three things.

First, she has to find an animal and tell us what it is.

- No problemo!

♪ ♪

That should be easy!

- Second, Sally has to take a picture

of an animal in the wild.

- Oh, well, we can help Sally do that.

- Third, most important of all,

Sally has to follow a map.

- Follow a map to see lions?

- It wouldn't be a safari without any lions.

And that's the truth.

I'm not lyin'. - Ooh!

[all laughing]

- Ah! Your jokes are my favorite!

[chuckles]

- So who's ready to help Sally get that safari guide badge?

[dogs barking] - Oh! Me!

- I am! [chuckles]

- Then paws up! Tails out!

To the Mutt & Stuff plane!

We're going on a safari!

Buckle up because we have a long flight to our safari.

[inspirational music]

♪ ♪

[airplane whirring]

♪ ♪

- We're going on a safari.

Hey, what should I say when I finally meet a lion?

Uh, oh! How about, "It's nice to meet you, lion.

"I like naps too, and we're both yellow.

So we have so much in common."

[chuckles]

Hey, maybe we'll end up being best friends.

Yeah, and then we'll, like, share postcards and be pen pals.

"Hey, lion, how's it going?

You know what? You have paws and I..."

♪ ♪

- We're almost there!

Time to put on your safari outfits!

♪ ♪

- You know what they call the big hair on a lion's head?

A mane! Isn't that cool?

'Cause it's, like, so obvious, it's totally "main."

That's why they call it that.

- Hey, Davenport?

Davenport! - [gibbering]

Oh, hi, Zoe.

- Do you know how the elephant crossed the river?

- Oh, yeah! He floated on a "gi-raft."

- [gasps] - [chuckles]

both: Float...

- Float! - [chuckles]

- [laughs] - [giggles]

[sad trombone]

both: Agh! [thuds]

- I'm okay. - Meow too.

[adventurous music]

♪ ♪

[dogs barking]

♪ ♪

- Okay, everyone!

We made it to our safari!

- Wow!

Ooh! Are the lions, uh, this way?

This way? Or, um--

♪ ♪

This way? Where do we go?

- Ooh!

I'll show you the way!

- It's Sally Safari!

Sally know everything about animals.

- Yup! Everything.

Calvin, I see you brought your class of turtles with you.

- Uh, huh...

- [barks]

- Wow! Barking turtles!

- But, uh, we're dogs.

- Calvin, I think that turtle thinks he's a dog.

- Um, Sally, actually, these are dogs.

♪ ♪

- Well, I am safari sorry!

Dogs. Not turtles. Got it!

[chuckling]

I am still in training, you know, so...

- Sally, that's why we're here!

I brought my class to help you get your safari guide badge.

- You did? Oh, well, thanks, guys!

I've got a spot ready for my badge right here!

I am so close to getting it!

I just know today's gonna be the day.

- Oh!

Is today also gonna be the day I see a lion?

'Cause I love lions!

- The best way to see a lion is in my Jeep.

- Oh! We get to ride in a Jeep?

I love Jeeps!

- Everyone! Safari we go!

- [chuckles]

[engine revving]

[lively harmonica music]

♪ The dogs on the Jeep go... ♪

[barking]

♪ The dogs on the Jeep go... ♪

[barking]

♪ All through the safari! ♪

♪ ♪

[horn honks]

- Whoo-hoo! [chuckles]

[exhales]

Sorry. I got excited.

That's a really fun song.

- [chuckles]

[adventurous music]

♪ ♪

- Okay, we're here!

♪ ♪

- Great! - [laughs]

- The first thing I need to do

is find an animal and tell you what it is.

This should be so easy!

[chuckles] Let's see what's out there!

♪ ♪

Okay.

Ooh! Ooh! There!

I see it!

It's tall.

It's really tall!

It's so tall, it can only be one thing.

Ooh, it's a penguin.

- [whimpers]

- Hi! - Um, actually, Sally,

that's a giraffe!

- Oh, hey, uh, Calvin?

She is the safari guide.

- Ooh. Ooh! Okay. Okay!

I'm getting a better view this time, and...

♪ ♪

Yes, Calvin. You're correct.

It's a giraffe.

This may not be as easy as I thought.

- Well, that's okay, Sally.

We're here to help!

Come on, guys!

Let's find more animals for Sally!

- Thanks, Calvin.

♪ ♪

- [barks] - Yeah!

That rhino is big!

♪ ♪

- [barks]

- Whoa! That cheetah is fast!

But not as fast as you, Rocket.

- [barks]

- [barks]

♪ ♪

- Oh! That's right, Princess Pickles.

Everyone likes monkeying around on a safari.

♪ ♪

- [humming]

- Ooh! - Oh!

[both laughing]

- Thanks for your help, Stuff!

I'm ready to try again.

- Ooh! Sure! Let's see.

Scanning the horizon.

Oh! Look over there!

- Ooh! Yes! There, there! Yes! I see it!

- Yeah, yeah. - It's got stripes!

- Uh-huh.

- Okay, that, my friend, is a frog.

- Huh? - Yes, sirree. A frog.

Ribbit-ribbit. Nice frog!

- Let me see, uh...

[chuckling]

Hey! Wow! A striped frog!

Hey, Calvin? - Yeah?

- You gotta see this!

- What's up, Stuff?

- Well, check it out!

This frog looks just like a zebra.

♪ ♪

- Huh? - Oh, wait.

Silly me.

A zebra has stripes.

That's not a frog. It's a zebra.

Oh, you know, I don't think I'm very good at animal names.

- Don't worry. I think you'll do great on the next one.

- I sure will!

Then safari we go!

[adventurous music]

♪ ♪

- Okay, Sally.

What's next?

- Next, I need to take a photo of an animal.

Good thing I brought my favorite camera!

- Ooh! Maybe you'll take a photo of a lion.

- Maybe, Stuff. I am pretty good at taking pictures.

♪ ♪

Whoa.

♪ ♪

- [barks]

- Oh, don't look now,

but Cowboy says that there's a hippo in the watering hole.

- Okay. I got it.

One photo of a hippo coming right up!

♪ ♪

Oh, wait. Wait. You know what?

It's not working.

Ooh! - Oh!

- That's not a hippo. - [chuckles]

No, but it's a great picture of your elbow.

- Thanks, Stuff.

- Don't worry. We're here to help.

Come on, guys! - Yeah!

- Okay, guys. Let's see if we can help Sally

get that perfect picture.

[elephants trumpeting]

♪ ♪

Wow!

Great sh*t of that elephant, Princess Pickles.

Or should we call you Princess Pictures?

[all laughing]

♪ ♪

Hey! You really got that giraffe's good side.

♪ ♪

There's a reason why we call him Zippy.

[both laughing]

- Okay, I see how it's done!

I'm ready to try again. - Yeah. Okay.

Oh! Sally! Here comes a zebra!

- Thanks, Stuff. I'm ready. - Okay.

- Whoa, zebra!

Wait, hold on, zebra.

Whoa!

Can you just slow down a second?

Where are you going?

What's the rush?

Just give me a--

Hold on, zebra!

- [whimpers]

♪ ♪

- [gibbering]

Whoa!

Look at this guy!

Um, hi there.

I'm Noodles.

It's "mice" to meet you!

[chuckles]

And, um,

your name is?

[monkey cooing]

Okay. Shy chimpanzee.

Oh! I know!

Chimps love to swing on vines!

And I've got just the vine for you!

[chuckles] See?

Just give it a pull.

[monkey chirping] Just, uh, you know,

pull the vine and, uh--

Okay. I'll show you how.

[sad trombone]

[grunts]

[chuckling]

I can't believe I fell for my own joke!

[chuckles] Here.

I'll laugh for you too.

[hooting cheerfully]

[gentle music]

- Hmm?

♪ ♪

Hey, Sally. What's wrong?

- I'll never be a safari guide.

♪ ♪

- Well, Stuff really wants

to find a lion, and there's still something

you haven't tried yet.

Using a map!

- Oh, yeah! You're right.

Let's give it a super safari try!

♪ ♪

Next up, following a map.

Come on! - Great!

You guide, and I'll drive.

♪ ♪

- Safari we go to the lions!

- Oh, boy! It's lion time!

- If I could just find the map...

Um, has anyone seen a map?

- No. Not here. - If anyone...

- Oh! Yeah! [chuckles]

Zippy had it.

- Oh, thanks, Zippy!

♪ ♪

All right.

Let's see. Um...

♪ ♪

- Hey, does your map tell you how to find a lion?

- Oh, it sure does. It does. No problem.

And I won't get lost.

No way. No me. Not Sally Safari.

- [chuckles]

- [whimpering]

♪ ♪

- Safari we go to the lions? - Yeah!

- We're trying really hard

to help Sally get her safari guide badge.

I hope she can do it!

- To the lions! This way.

Or is it that way?

Might be...

♪ ♪

It could very possibly be that way.

I'm not...

Maybe we should just park for a second and I'll just read.

[jazzy music]

- Yeah. Ah!

- Oh!

Hmm!

- Hey, Davenport?

Davenport!

- [gibbering] Whoa!

Oh, hey, Zoe.

- What are you doing?

- Oh, I'm looking for animals with my...

banan-oculars!

[sad trombone]

[both laughing]

Whoa! - Whoo-hoo!

- I'm okay. - Meow too.

- Ooh, so excited. Lions, lions, lions...

♪ ♪

- Made it! We're here!

- [barking]

- Ooh!

- Okay, Stuff.

Behold the mighty lion!

Listen to its roar!

[elephants trumpeting]

[sad trombone]

- Uh...

It sounds different than I thought it would.

- Yeah. That sounded like an elephant.

[elephant trumpets] - Oops!

I am so safari sorry.

I think I made a wrong turn.

[gentle music]

I think I'm lost.

- Uh, does that mean no lions?

- It means I don't know where the lions are, Stuff.

I guess I can't follow a map either.

I'm so safari sorry.

I need a moment.

♪ ♪

- I think Sally may need a nose-to-nose.

♪ ♪

- I'm not good at finding animals

or taking pictures of them,

and I can't even follow a map.

♪ ♪

I'll never get my safari guide badge.

♪ ♪

[elephant trumpets]

[Sally trumpeting]

[elephant trumpeting]

- Is she talking to that elephant?

[both trumpeting]

[elephant trumpets]

- [chuckling] Me too!

Yes! [laughs]

- Yup! She's definitely talking to the elephant!

- [barking]

- [laughing] [elephant trumpets]

That's so funny!

Wow, you made me feel so much better, Mr. Elephant.

Thank you. [chuckling]

You... [chuckles]

- I don't think Sally needs a nose-to-nose.

She just had a nose-to-trunk!

Sally, were you talking to the elephant?

- Yeah! He knew I was sad, so he cheered me up with a joke.

- And you understand him? - Yeah! Oh, wait!

I forgot to ask his name.

[trumpets softly]

[elephant trumpets]

His name is Derek.

- Sally, you can talk to animals.

- Calvin!

I. Can. Talk. To. Animals!

[laughs]

[all barking]

[gasps] I'm good at something! And it's a great something!

- Well, now that we know you can talk to animals,

do you want to try to get your badge again?

- Yes! Let's do it!

Oh! Good-bye, Derek.

I mean... [trumpets]

[elephant trumpets]

You! [giggles]

Let's find some animals!

[adventurous music]

[yipping]

♪ ♪

Excuse me. What kind of animal are you?

[giraffe bleats]

Everyone, this is a giraffe.

- Ooh! - You did it!

- It worked! - Yay for you!

♪ ♪

- Okay, zebra, let's try this again,

but this time, hold still.

[neighing] Please?

♪ ♪

Ooh! I did it! It worked!

- [barking]

- Great job! - Thanks, zebra!

♪ ♪

[rhinos bellowing]

So turn left at the watering hole?

[rhinos bellowing]

That makes sense. [chuckles]

[bellowing]

Okay, bye, rhinos!

both: Whoa!

- That rhino was so nice!

[laughing]

Okay, Stuff.

With the help of the rhino, I was able to find the lion.

Are you ready for the "mane" event?

- Mane! Haha! Funny!

Yeah! Am I! Whoo!

I'm gonna see a lion! I can't believe it!

[all barking]

- That way! Come on!

♪ ♪

Okay! We're here!

- [chuckling] Oh!

Ooh! Oh! Oh! I see one!

♪ ♪

Oh! Two!

No! Three!

I see three lions!

Oh! This is so pawesome!

Just look at the manes!

The paws! The tails!

♪ ♪

- [barks]

- Oh, Sally.

You are the best safari guide ever!

- Thanks, Stuff!

- Sally, you really earned your safari guide badge.

- Oh, thanks.

I am so excited, I could roar!

Actually, I can roar!

[roars]

- What a great day!

Then, Sally learned that she can talk to animals!

And that helped her earn her safari guide badge.

Then we celebrated with a safari doggy dance party!
