Nahal, my sweet little tiger, do you know what today is?

- [yawns]

- That'’s right!

It'’s the day my sister Shimmer and I become genies!

It means we finally get to grant wishes

for our new friend!

I'’m so excited.

I got to do a genie happy dance.

[humming]

- [yawns]

- Nope, no one'’s sleeping in this morning,

not even you, Nahal.

So come on!

Let'’s go wake up Shimmer.

[thunk]

- [whines]

Rise and shine, sis!

Huh?

There'’s no time to play "find the genie", Shimmer!

We'’ve got so much to do.

So come out, come out, wherever you are!

Where in genie world did she go?

Shimmer, are you downstairs?

[grunting]

- [meowing]

- Shimmer! Shimmer!

Where are you?

Huh?

- Here I am, Shine.

[muffled chattering]

Oopsie, I left Tala behind.

[giggles]

Monkey butt.

Sorry about that, Tala.

My sweet monkey.

- What have you been doing?

Don'’t you know what today is?

- Of course I do.

It'’s the day we finally become genies!

both: Zahara Zlam!

[both giggling]

- Well, almost genies.

I'’d say more like genies in training.

So what'’s with all the bottles?

- I'’m looking for the perfect one

to give to our new friend.

I didn'’t know which one to pick,

so I grabbed them all.

[muffled and echoing] This one'’s too big.

This one'’s too small.

This one smells like pickles.

I kind of like it.

Now I want pickles.

- [cooing]

[munching]

[spits]

- We can'’t just use any old genie bottle.

We have to make a new one from scratch using

super special ingredients.

- I know where we can get what we need.

Come on!

- The first thing we need to make our genie bottle

is a flower petal.

- So what are we waiting for?

Let'’s just pluck a petal and go!

- Patience, Shine.

We have to wait for the petal to drop on its own.

As genies in training, we might make mistakes.

So we'’re gonna need a friend with a lot of patience.

- Good thinking, Shimmer.

- [sniffs]

[sneezes]

- One flower petal.

- Check.

Now on to the fun part.

- A day at the beach sure is fun, Shimmer.

- Exactly.

Just like our new friend will be.

That'’s why we'’ll be adding these fun

beach memories to our genie bottle.

[shimmering tones]

- It'’s like a day at the beach to go!

Whoa!

That cloud looks kind of like a heart.

- All we need is a puff of this heart-shaped cloud

to match our friend'’s big kind heart.

[both giggling]

- Got it.

- [nervous meowing] - [happy chattering]

- Wow, Tala is a really good surfer.

Who knew monkeys could surf?

- Whoo-hoo!

I don'’t know why we'’re surfing,

and I don'’t care!

This is so awesome!

And scary at the same time.

- [monkey screeching]

- Exactly.

Surfing takes a lot of bravery.

And our new friend has to be brave too.

And that'’s the next ingredient

for our genie bottle.

A little drop of a big ocean wave.

- [cooing]

- The garden of hanging stars!

I love this place. It'’s so magical.

- This is where we'’ll find the last ingredient.

- Okay.

This one right here looks pretty.

- It is.

But we'’re not looking for just any star.

We need to find the most unique star we'’ve ever seen!

Something one of a kind.

Just like our friend.

- Ah-ooh!

- There!

That'’s the one.

- I'’ve never seen a star like this before.

- That'’s what makes it so special.

- Now that we'’re done getting all the ingredients,

let'’s go mix them together.

- Ready, Shine?

- I was born ready.

- Me too.

We are twins, after all.

- Great, now let'’s go make a bottle together.

I don'’t think so.

[giggles]

I just thought everything could use a little glitter.

I think glitter would really make it sparkle.

[both gasp]

- Wait, it'’s still missing a bottle stopper.

- [chattering]

just like our friend.

- Aw, it'’s so cute and tiny.

Now, if we only knew who to give it to.

It'’s time to see the magic mirror.

- This is so exciting.

- I know.

- We'’ve waited our whole lives

to use this magic mirror.

- I know.

- It'’s finally going to

show us who we'’ll be

granting wishes for!

- I know!

- So how does it work?

- I don'’t know.

Hmm...

- Shine, I found two buttons.

Let'’s try this one first.

- Wrong button!

- Oopsie.

Maybe it'’s the other button.

- You found it!

- Wow, Shine.

There are so many great kids to choose from.

Who do you think the magic mirror'’s going to pick?

- Well, whoever it is, they have to be fun,

kind-hearted, brave, and patient.

- Especially patient.

- But most of all, they have to be

one of a kind!

♪ Who will it be?

Time to be a genie.

- Shimmer, wait!

What if we don'’t get any of the wishes right?

- Well, if we make a mistake, we'’ll just have to

try and try again until we get it right.

- Okay, then let the wish-granting begin!

[shimmering tones]

- Come on, walkie-talkies.

All I have to do is knock these bottles over,

and then you two are coming home with me.

But not today.

Your turn, Leah.

[bell rings]

- We have a winner!

- Wow!

I can'’t believe I won!

- And on your first try too?

Nice arm, Leah.

- Thanks, Zac.

I'’m usually not very good at these games,

but I guess today I'’m just feeling,

I don'’t know, lucky.

- It happens, happens a lot.

Like this one time, I wanted onion rings,

but all they had left were French fries.

And guess what I found in there?

The last onion ring!

It was the luckiest day ever.

- [giggles]

- Okay.

- Zac really likes onion rings.

- And what does the lucky winner want for a prize?

- Hmm.

Should I get the polka-dotted elephant or this genie bottle?

I think I'’ll take...

- Oh, get the walkie-talkies!

I mean, you can pick whatever you want,

since you won and all.

But think about it, Leah.

With those, we can talk

while we walk.

- Sure, Zac.

I'’ll get the walkie-talkies.

- Yes!

Let'’s see how far these babies can work.

- Yeah.

- Yep.

- These are so awesome.

[gasps]

I just got in line for a yummy funnel cake.

Signing off until I get one in my mouth.

- [giggles]

- Hey, what you did for your friend was really nice,

giving him the prize he wanted even though you won the game.

- No big deal. Zac'’s my best friend.

- Well, I think a winner deserves a prize all her own.

So pick any prize you want, my treat.

- Really?

Wow! Thank you.

Do I want the elephant or the necklace?

I'’ll take the necklace.

- One genie bottle coming right up.

- Thanks.

It'’s so beautiful.

- You know, I don'’t think I'’ve ever seen

that prize here before.

Lucky you, it'’s yours to keep.

- That'’s silly.

[gasps]

Oh, well.

I guess there'’s no such thing as genies.

[gasps]

[whooshing]

- Oh, my genie. It'’s Leah!

both: Oof!

[both giggling]

- Oh, Nahal.

- [meows]

- I can'’t believe it'’s you!

- Wow, I love your skirt.

- And your shoes are so shiny!

I love shiny things.

- You'’re taller than I thought.

And I love tall things.

- Uh, thanks.

- How about another hug?

- It'’s just so nice to finally meet you.

- Yeah, you too.

Who are you?

- I'’m Shimmer!

- I'’m Shine!

both: Your genies divine!

- Um, did you just say "genies"?

- That'’s right.

- And we'’re here to grant you three wishes a day.

- Uh-huh.

And them, are they genies too?

- No.

Those are our pets.

This little monkey is mine.

Her name is Tala.

- [coos]

- And this is Nahal, my pet tiger.

- Tiger?

- Yeah, but don'’t be scared.

She'’s really friendly.

Aren'’t you my little loveable ball of fur?

Yes, you are.

- [meows]

- Right.

So are you girls part of the fun house?

- What'’s a fun house?

- I have no idea.

But it sounds like fun!

[both giggling]

- Uh-huh.

So if you really are genies,

why do I get two of you?

Don'’t people usually just get one genie?

- Well, we'’re twin sisters

so everything we do is--

both: Together.

- It'’s double the fun.

- But not double the wishes.

You still only get three a day.

- Right.

There'’s no way you'’re real genies because,

well, genies aren'’t real.

So I bet you two are just part of the fun house.

- We had a feeling you weren'’t gonna believe that

we'’re genies just by telling you.

- I'’m listening.

so much fun in this fun house?

- You think this is fun?

Wait till you see the rest of the carnival.

[all screaming]

[all giggling]

So this is a carnival!

Here you can go on rides, play games,

eat really yummy food.

- There'’s only one thing I can think of

that can make this better.

- Glitter?

My sister usually says glitter.

- Not this time.

I'’m talking about a wish.

What do you want to wish for first, Leah?

- Yeah! Make a wish, Leah.

Make a wish!

Please, please, please?

Just remember, you only get three wishes a day.

All you have to say is "I wish"

before you make your wish.

- So are you saying that anything I wish for,

you'’ll make it come true?

- If you wish it, we'’ll grant it.

- Well, okay.

Oh, I know!

I really like that polka-dotted elephant prize

from the milk bottle game.

So for my first wish, I wish for

a polka-dotted elephant.

- Boom Zahramay!

First wish of the day.

- [gasps]

[thunk]

- [trumpets]

- [nervous chattering]

- Ta-da!

- It'’s a real polka-dotted elephant.

She'’s so big!

- It'’s like I always say, wish big

or go back in the genie bottle.

- I'’ve never heard you say that before.

- That'’s '’cause I just made it up.

- Hey, Leah, where are you?

I'’ve got a surprise for you.

- You'’ve got a surprise?

Wait till you see mine!

Come to the game booths, quick!

You'’re not gonna believe it, but I have two--

[both shushing]

- Sorry, you broke up there. Can you repeat?

- You can'’t tell anyone about us, Leah,

or we can'’t be your genies anymore.

It'’s the rule.

- You have to keep us a secret, even from the talking box.

- Come in, Leah.

Are you there?

- Well, what am I gonna do about her, then?

Zac is on his way, and a polka-dotted elephant

is not that easy to hide.

- Leah, I'’m at the game booths.

Where are you?

- [trumpets]

- Hmm, where'’s Leah?

Maybe she'’s at another game booth.

- Shimmer, Shine, I have to hide

this polka-dotted elephant before my friend Zac sees it.

- Don'’t worry, Leah.

Shimmer and I will figure out what to do with Dotty.

- Dotty?

- Well, what other name is perfect

for this lovable polka-dotted girl?

[foot thumping]

- [chattering]

- Wait, that'’s it!

We can use the leaves to hide Dotty.

[shimmering tones]

- Hurry! He'’s almost here.

- I like how you roll, snail.

Slow and steady and slimy.

There you are, Leah.

You'’ve got to try one of these funnel--

that bush looks like an elephant.

- Huh?

You'’re totally right, Zac.

[giggling]

- Anyway, I ate five funnel cakes

before I got the perfect amount of powdered sugar on top.

Now I have a tummy ache, so don'’t do what I did.

One funnel cake a day is good enough!

- [trumpets]

- [gasps]

- Gesundheit.

- Uh, thanks.

Sorry about that.

- It happens, happens a lot.

This powdered sugar is extra powdery.

Anyway, I got to go wash it off.

My tongue can only reach so far.

[slurping]

- Nice save, Shimmer.

Covering Dotty with leaves was a great idea!

- Leaf it to me to come up with the crafty ideas.

- Wow.

I still can'’t believe you guys gave me a real elephant.

- We just gave you what you wished for.

- Well, actually, when I wished for a polka-dotted elephant,

I was thinking of the stuffed animal kind,

like those.

- Good thing you didn'’t ask for a stuffed shark.

- Sorry about the mix-up, Leah.

I didn'’t mean to make that mistake.

- We'’re still genies in training.

- That'’s okay, guys.

It was a good try.

Besides, a real elephant is way better than a stuffed animal.

- Yeah, because you can feed them peanuts.

It shouldn'’t be hard.

She'’s a giant elephant with polka-dots.

- [chattering]

- Nope.

And nope.

[chewing]

- Is Dotty up here, Nahal?

- [meows]

- Dotty, there you are.

Oops, wrong elephant.

- We'’ve looked everywhere, and we can'’t find Dotty.

- Where could she be?

- Now, let'’s think.

If I were a polka-dotted elephant at a carnival,

where would I go?

[gasps]

Yeah, I don'’t know.

- Hmm, maybe we could ask another animal where they'’d go.

You know, like one of the animals over there

spinning around and around and around.

- Shimmer, one of the spinning animals is Dotty.

- Let'’s go get that elephant.

- Hey, Leah.

I thought I was in line for the bathroom,

but it turns out,

I'’m in line for the Ferris wheel.

I'’m just gonna take a spin if that'’s okay.

- Sure.

You know what?

Take two spins.

I'’m going to ride the carousel.

We'’ll meet up later.

- Sounds good. Ride an elephant for me.

Those are the best. Over and out.

- Looks like you guys found Dotty.

[laughs]

- Hey, we want a ride.

[laughter]

- I think Tala is a big fan of the carousel.

- [chattering]

- I'’m not sure I can say the same

for my dizzy little kitty over there.

- [meowing]

all: Whoa.

[screaming]

[elephant trumpeting]

[screaming]

[grunting]

- You win a prize.

[crunching]

- Glad you liked your prize, Dotty.

But we have to get you out of here

before someone sees you, so come on.

Up.

[grunting]

- Let me try.

I'’m good with animals.

Come here, girl.

Come on, Dotty.

Up, up.

- [trumpets]

- I meant you, not me.

- All right, Dotty.

It'’s time for you to move.

[grunts]

Now I can'’t move.

[giggles]

- It'’s no use.

Dotty won'’t budge.

- Well, maybe you can...

unbudge her with a wish?

You still have two more wishes left.

- Oh, right.

Then for my second wish,

I wish we had an easy way to move Dotty.

- Boom Zahramay, second wish of the day.

Shimmer and Shine, move Dotty divine.

[shimmering tones]

- Uh, Shine?

Why is Dotty wearing elephant-sized roller skates?

- Because she has big feet.

I granted your wish, Leah.

- No, I mean, why is she on roller skates?

I was hoping Dotty would just get up and walk,

not get up and roll.

- Oh, my mistake.

- It'’s all right, Shine.

It might not be what I wished for,

but I know we'’ll find a way to skate out of this mistake.

- Dotty'’s already on skates,

so we'’re headed in the right direction.

- Wait, that'’s it.

Dotty is on skates.

We can push her in any direction we want.

- Great idea, Leah.

- Yep, that sounds like a plan I can roll with.

- Oof.

[gasps]

[chuckles]

- Zac'’s back.

Hide before he sees you.

And Dotty.

- Hey, Leah.

Ready to go on some rides with me?

There'’s a whole bunch of them we haven'’t gone on yet.

Let'’s see...

there'’s the Spider Spinner, the Dragon Drop,

the Timber Wolf.

That one'’s a real nail biter, or claw biter if you'’re a wolf.

[laughs]

Anyway, what else?

There'’s the Zero Gravity Zipper...

- Guys, Zac wants me to go with him,

but Dotty is skating away.

- [trumpets]

- [chuckling]Oopsie.

Don'’t worry, Leah.

You go with Zac.

We'’ll go after Dotty.

- The Even Bigger Dipper, the Extreme Balloon Ride.

So which one'’s first, Leah?

- Uh, let'’s start with the roller coaster.

Race you there.

- Oh, it is on.

Last one there is a stinky monkey.

- Okay, Shine.

What do you think is the best way to catch Dotty?

- Well, if one wants to catch an elephant on skates,

one must know how to skate.

both: Whoa. Whoa. Oof.

- Looks like we need more practice roller-skating.

- But we don'’t have time to learn,

and Dotty is getting away.

- Then new plan: stick to what we know.

- Flying magic carpets?

- Flying magic carpets.

[upbeat music]

Zac and Leah are headed there too.

- We can'’t let Zac see Dotty.

- [gasps]

[bumper cars whirring]

- Nice moves,

but I hope your seatbelt is fastened,

because I'’m about to bump your world.

Ah.

- [chatters]

- Huh?

A bumper car that drives itself?

It happens, happens a lot.

- It'’s okay, Dotty.

We'’ll help you off the slippery rink.

Now, I'’m just gonna give you a little push.

- [gasps]

- Hey, she'’s a really good skater.

- Yeah, she'’s pretty light on her feet.

Well, for an elephant.

- I guess the little push was too little

to get Dotty of the rink.

We need something stronger.

- I know just the thing.

A fan.

[air whooshing]

- [trumpets]

- It worked.

- Good thinking, Shine.

[smack]

- Sorry, Shimmer.

- So how about for the next ride,

we pick something a little less bumpery.

- You got it.

- [gasps]

A cartoon artist.

They draw awesome pictures.

Like, this one time, I had my picture drawn at the park

and they drew me riding a pony

with super big muscles and a moustache.

I had the super big muscles and the moustache,

not the pony.

Anyways, it was great.

- [giggles]

- I'’m gonna see if this time

they can draw me riding a dinosaur.

- Sounds good, Zac.

Say, why don'’t you go first, and I'’ll be right there?

- Okay.

- Guys, that was really close.

And really awesome.

I never knew elephants could skate so well.

- I know.

She was like a ballerina on teeny, tiny wheels.

- [trumpets]

- You know, wishing for Dotty may have been a mistake,

but I'’m glad we made it, because Dotty is amazing.

- Amazing...

and floating away.

[wind whistling]

- She'’s flying too high.

We'’ve got to catch her.

- Grab some rug and hold on tight, Leah.

I'’m about to show you the magic in a magic carpet ride.

[laughter]

- This is so awesome.
