room for a new grown-up tooth to grow in

to eat with that's good and when you're

older you'll have grown-up teeth and

they won't fall out and that's something

to smile about oh how does it feel when

the truth comes out it feels kind of

it's important to take care of your

teeth and one way to do it is by

visiting the dentist

wow when you go for your appointment you

say hello to the person at the front

desk who will tell the dentist you're

then you'll wait in the waiting room

where you can read stories or play with

toys until they call your name

wow the dentist's assistant covers your

clothes to keep them tidy that's right

and you get to sit in a special chair

that leans way back

she cleans your teeth with a special

kind of toothbrush it tickles but you

should try to sit still ow

next she'll use dental floss to clean

between your teeth

now the dentist is ready to look at your

teeth

bright light above the chair helps him

see into your mouth the chancing to your

eyes you can just close them

sometimes he uses a special little

mirror to look around inside your mouth

if everything looks okay you're all done

that didn't take long

and when it's time to go you may get a

nice new toothbrush and even a hug

and I just happened to have some nice

new toothbrushes for all of you too

today we also helped Baby Bop learn

something important about teeth we found

out that babies are born with no teeth

but as they get bigger they begin to

grow some baby teeth

when you get a little older your first

set of teeth will begin to wiggle then

one by one they wiggle right out making

room for your grown-up teeth it's very

important to take good care of your

teeth

visiting the dentist regularly and

brushing your teeth after each meal is a

good start to keeping healthy tea

healthy teeth make Healthy Smiles and I

just love smiles and remember I love you
