jungle

more Adventures week is fun today I

learned lions are part of the cat family

well I hope my kitten doesn't get to be

that big should be too big to cuddle

Keisha did you know that zebras and

horses are in the same family no I

didn't but I really think they're neat

yeah

I like zebras too but my favorite animal

is

uh

a bear really my favorite animal is

a bear too so you both brought bears for

animal Adventures week yeah

well this Panda has always been special

to me and you know what

next to Barney I just love this spare

me and my best Teddy Bear

sitting in my favorite chair we are

going

we have to play just like every day

I've got lots of friends out there and

there are lots of fun

but they're not my teddy bear he's my

favorite one

Adventures week we're learning about

different animals oh my that sounds like

fun it is we got to bring our favorite

animals to school and guess what Woods

we all brought oh Bears oops I left my

bear by the tree I'll go get it

bear is gone gone what do you mean he's

gone well I'm sure he's here somewhere

he was just here but now he's gone

where oh where has my teddy bear gone oh

where oh where can he be he's my dearest

friend in the whole wide world oh where

well let's look for him

I just have to find my teddy bear Barney

he's been my friend for a long time

don't worry Stephen we'll all keep

looking for him

the where was the last place you saw him

we were playing right over here

he was sitting on this step maybe he

fell down between the steps let's take a

hi missetta I'm looking for my teddy

bear he's little brown and fuzzy have

you seen him well no I'm afraid not the

only little brown fuzzy thing I've seen

around here is scooter and he's a

squirrel

these nuts and shells are Clues what do

you mean well look the shells are

scattered everywhere let's follow them

they just lightly just to your bear

look aren't these empty nutshells like

the ones we saw on the stairs yeah and

here are some more it looks like they're

leading into the tree house let's go

take a look

maybe Steven's teddy Bear got

hungry I wonder where a bear would go to

look for a place to live and what if she

got really tired well those are really

good questions let's find out with

your screen

there are many kinds of bears there are

brown bears and black bears there are

polar bears that live in the North Pole

and look there's a giant panda I love

pandas

bears live all over the world in forests

in the mountains and even in zooms

bears eat many different things like

insects and berries

they love to catch fish did you see

there's that fish

before it gets too cold they eat as much

as they can to get ready for their

winter nap in fact some bears hibernate

that means they sleep all winter long

that's a long nap there's Lake homes

called dance in caves Hollow logs and

even in the snow baby bears are called

Cubs

one of their mothers take very good care

of them just like our mothers take care

of us

and always remember bears look cuddly

but they're wild animals and they can

get angry quickly and be dangerous so if

you want to snuggle with a bear make

sure it's your friend the teddy bear

that's more about bears Barney you're

very welcome

let's take a look around the tree house

for Steven's teddy bear good idea I'll

check the lookout maybe we'll find some

other Clues around here

we're looking high and looking low where

oh where did Steven's teddy bear go I

don't know Barney but maybe found

something up there

hey Danny do you see anything yeah I

think I just saw something moving on the

playground baby it's my bear I'll be

right there hurry Steven whatever it is

it's moving

now look right over there that's where I

saw it

I don't see anything except for a few

more nutshells

we're building on a Bear Hunt we're on

our way we're going to find a lost one

we'll find him today uh oh a snowstorm a

whirling swirling snowstorm can't go

over it can't go either go through it

wow looks like that bear is ice skating

that's a polar bear and he lives where

it's very cold all the time the fur

between his toes keeps his feet warm and

keeps him from slipping on the ice

lots of fur if he lives where it's cold

it's right he his fur coat keeps the

cold wind out just like the coats we

wear when it's cold outside oh

you're all ready for the gold now

and then my teeth start to chatter and

my fingers freeze that's how I know it's

cold when I shiver and shake from a

little bitty breed that's how I know

it's cold when I see my breath like

smoke in the air it's really kind of fun

so I don't care if it's cold

snowman yesterday I know that he won't

melt away because it's gone

well we made it through the snowstorm

and now I'm kind of warm in this coat of

I've been searching for bugs for my

collection and I followed a big

butterfly right inside here what are you

guys doing we're on a bear hunt bear

hunt cool and we thought we'd finally

found a bear but we found

to find a bear

the other day I met a bear a great big

bear a way up there the other day

he said to me why don't you run you're

right

there's my butterfly I'll get it this

I missed him again I've been chasing him

all over the place and I still can't

catch him oh it looks like you haven't

had much luck catching books today BJ

yeah I think I've looked under every

Rock and turned over every leaf and I

haven't found anything

any bears nope no bears and no bugs

either well there must be a great place

around here for my teddy bear to hide

we've been looking for him all day and

we still can't find him oh BJ would you

help us look for Steven's teddy bear oh

oh hell

what was that

oh it sounds like a bear well that's not

a bear that's me my stomach is making

that noise all this bear hunting has

made me hungry

would you guys like some peanuts

there you go

BJ are you the one who's been dropping

peanut shells everywhere well yeah I

guess so bug hunting can make anyone

hungry

sure we will Stephen hey I have an idea

maybe if we looked more like Bears it

would be easier to find one yeah maybe

then my teddy would come out of hiding

what can we do to make ourselves look

more like Bears well this sounds like a

job

even some old strings

Steven you're using brown paper so are

you making a brown bear yes

I'm making a polar bear it's terrific I

gotta use glue too huh

the panda is so cute I like the way

you're using the brown inside of his ear

BJ well I think you're all becoming

experts on Bears thanks Barney

I bet all of yours are going to look

teddy bear yeah no wonder I mean you

seemed like a nice guy and all but he

didn't talk much and he didn't eat

anything

that reminds me I'm hungry
