I was gonna work on my new book
of "Brain Teasers for Bears."

Because I like to think.

I'm sorry, I just don't see
what's so special

about that piece of string.

But, Bear,

string is one of the greatest
things in the world!

Perhaps a bracelet

Tutter has made a bracelet

made all of her clothes

Sure! Stay right there, Bear!

You can also use string
to fly a kite.

[giggling]

You can go fishing with string.

Wow, Tutter, when you start
thinking about it,

there are lots of uses
for string.

Wow. Tutter thought of
so many uses for string!

He's always thinking.

Thinking is what
you do with your mind.

Like when you try
to remember the alphabet.

Or, when you try and decide
what to have for lunch.

Should I have raspberries
or blueberries?

Maybe both?

That's thinking, too!

Or when you play with your toys

and you try and decide

But, you don't have
to be deciding

or remembering to be thinking.

Something is always
going on up here.

And even though
you're just sitting,

doing nothing,

you are still thinking.

where I come to just to be quiet

and think about things.

-Well, we're trying to think.

Well, we are thinking...

That is thinking
about something.

Pop made up this new game
where we swim backwards.

that clouds sometimes

look like hippopotamuses?

And pillows with hippopotamuses
underneath them?

This one's about a bug.

I am a bug but I do not fly.

I like to make webs.

Hey! That's right.
I guessed that too.

Well, you know, they say

Hey, what's this?

Look!

It's a piece of string.

Let's see where
this string leads to.

It goes into the foyer!

And through the foyer...

And it's heading
toward the kitchen...

And look!

It leads right
over to a present.

Surprise! It's for you, Bear.

Hey, something else
you can use string for.

Well, aren't you going
to open it, Bear?

Oh, sure, Tutter.
Let's see what's inside.

It's a ball of...

string!

Yeah, Bear,
I loved my string so much,

I thought
you might like some too!

String even makes a great gift!

that keeps on giving, Bear.

And a very thoughtful gift
it is, Tutter...

And very stringy.

I have a few ideas

for that string of yours.

you could make marionettes!

thinking a lot about string.

Well, I was just thinking,

that after a full day
of thinking,

I like to do something
to clear my head.

-Well... I'll give you a hint.

It starts off
with a little scritching...

-Yep!

And I know, Bear!
Then, maybe a little itching?

Twitching! Treelo twitching?

That's right!

[laughing]

I'm getting that feeling again.

Well, we were thinking
about a lot of things today.

Tutter thought
of a lot of uses for string.

He's very resourceful, that one.

Yeah.

And the Otters
didn't think they were thinking.

But you know
what they found out?

Their minds are working...

-All the time.

Well, we solved
a Jot of Brain Teasers.

And I got to sit out by the pond
for a while and just think.

I think there's an awful lot

and, of course, the moon.
