Oh, hi! You’re just in time.
It’s so good to see you....

[sniffing]

Wait a minute. [sniffing]
What’s that smell?

[sniffing]

...It’s you!

Did you just roll around
in some flowers or something?

-‘Cause you smell so good today!
-TUTTER: Bear? Bear?

Or do you just smell
this good or...

OJO: Bear? Bear?

TUTTER: Bear! Down here!
Down here! Bear!

-Hi, Tutter, what is it?
-Hi, Bear.

I was just wondering,
just wondering,

if you’ve had time to get
that box you promised me yet?

I have an empty box I promised
to give Tutter earlier.

Mice love boxes.

Well, yes, of course, Bear.

Boxes are so good
for putting things in!

And, they’re great to play
with! What’s not to love?

What's not to love
about a box, Bear?

Yeah,
you're right about that, Tutter.

Yeah so… Bear,
when can I have it?

Well, well
I'll-I’ll go get it now

and I’ll bring it to you soon.

I don’t know, Tutter,

but I promise it won’t be long.

Okay, Bear, okay,
but please hurry, hurry, hurry!

I could be having fun with
that box right now! Right now!

-Thank you, Bear!
-You’re welcome, Tutter.

[Tutter laughing]

Like I said, mice love boxes.

Bears like boxes too,

only it's hard
to find one big enough.

[laughing]

Huh?

Hey? What’d I just step on?

Mmm...

I'm so curious.

[sniffs]

What’s this?

It’s a block!

Mmm...

[exclaims] Hey, here’s another,
and another.

Someone is leaving
a trail of blocks

and they look like
they’re leading into-

the living room!

[sniffing]

[sniffing]

OJO:♪ Hi-ho, hi-ho,
I love my blocks, you know... ♪

[laughing]

Sorry, Bear.

Look, it’s Ojo! She loves
to play with her blocks!

-Hi!
-Hey, Ojo,

I’m so curious,
what are you doing?

I’m making stuffs
with my blocks, Bear!

Really? That sounds cool!

Ojo loves to play with her
blocks and use her imagination.

BEAR: Whoo...

Hey Look! I made a house!
Now, it’s a house shape!

Wow, what a great house!

I can just imagine a door...

-And windows.
-Windows.

-And maybe a chimney...
-Pretty!

What a cozy place to live!

Hey you know what, Bear?
It’s just like your house!

The Big Blue House!

Really? Yes!
Now I see! It’s blue.

Making shapes
with blocks is fun.

-Well gotta go, Bear!
-Ojo, where're you going?

To find more shapes!

I’m gonna find the very best
shape and bring it back alive!

I’m going where no bear
has gone before!

I'm a "shapes explorer!"

[chuckles]

Hey, did you hear that?

It sounded like a rumbling?

Hey is that your tummy?

You must have eaten
something good today, right?

Squares, circles,
triangles, rectangles.

Shapes.

Shapes. They’re
everywhere you look.

And they come in all sizes.

Why, even the stuff
we play with has shapes...

like a ball...

has a circle shape...

[thumping]

and a quilt has
a square shape...

and a sail?

...has a triangle shape.

And look even your TV...

See?

It's a rectangle. Yeah,

everything has its own special
shape... even you and me!

♪ What I see with my eyes is
a world of a different sizes ♪

♪ Each thing has
its own special shape ♪

♪ Could be round like a melon ♪

♪ Could be square,
there's no tellin' ♪

♪ It could even be oval,
like a grape ♪

A certain mouse like...me?

-Oh right. Yes! Sorry, Tutter!
-Geez!

Sometimes I'm a forgetful Bear.

Right, Tutter. The box.
I'll go get it right now!

All right, Bear, but hurry up!
Hurry up! Time's a wasting!

[shouting] Time's a wasting.

Well, I’d better hurry up
and get that box.

[soft country music]

Now,
where did I leave that box...

maybe on the bed...

Huh?

Look at that!

What's that shape
under the covers?

It doesn’t look like a box.

It’s a big, big lump.

[giggling]

And it’s breathing and moving!

I wonder who’s
under the covers!?

[exclaims]

[laughing]

It’s Treelo!

Did Treelo surprise you, Bear?
Did Treelo surprise you?

Yes, that’s right, you got me,
Treelo. You surprised οld Bear.

Look! Look! Treelo make a tent!

A tent.

And what a wonderful tent too.

Sheets on the covers of
a bed make a great tent.

TREELO: Yeah.

Well, have fun with your tent,
Treelo,

I'm just looking
for something...

-Bear?
-Yes?

What are you doing?

I’m looking for a box
for Tutter.

Now where did I leave it?

-Bear, Bear!
-Yes, Treelo?

Bear, play with me!
Come inside my tent and play!

Well, I'd like to play with you,

thank you for asking me
inside Treelo,

but I really need to find...

Treelo want Bear to play now!

Ok, ok. All right,
all right let’s see, um.

I guess Tutter can wait
one more minute for his box.

[Treelo exclaiming]

Okay, here I come...

Hi, Bear!

-Whoa, nice tent, Treelo.
-[Treelo mumbles]

Yeah. Tents are neat, huh?

Being in a tent is like being
an explorer in the jungle.

The jungle.

Listen! Can you hear
the animals? Like a parrot?

[parrot squawk]

A parrot! [giggles]

Yeah! A parrot in the jungle!
Or monkeys?

[monkey screeching]

Monkey!

Yeah, monkeys are a lot of fun.
Or even a lion?

[lion's roar]

Oh no! A lion! A lion! A lion!
Don't let him get me!

Treelo, Treelo, Treelo, it's ok.

We were just pretending,
remember?

No lion? Pretend?

[chuckles]

-No lion?
-Yeah, no lions here.

[chuckles]

Hey! Let's do it again,
again, again...

No, no I really have to find
that box for Tutter now.

Where did I put that box?

Treelo look too for box!

Find box? Me?

Yeah.
You can help me look for it.

What a great idea!

[Treelo laughing]

Box! Look! Box!

-Where?
-TREELO: Box! Box! Box!

There it is.

Box! Box, Bear! Box!

Oh, this is great! Yes!
This is it. This is the box.

Treelo play outside now.

-[Tutter Laughing]

It's going to look great
in my playroom!

Or I can put all my toys in it!

Or I could make it

My pleasure, Tutter. I like
finding presents for my friends.

That’s very nice, Bear.

Well, I’ll be taking
my box inside now. [giggles]

Oh, boy!

-Oh, no!
-What’s wrong, Tutter?

It’s too big, Bear! Too big!

[exclaims]

I’ll just have to cut it up.
Hickory dickory!

I guess half a box is better
than none. Where’s my saw?

No, no, no, Tutter,
Tutter, wait. Look at it.

See? It’s a rectangle. See?

Hey! Now wait just a minute!

Now look at that box!
It's a rectangle!

That means, Bear, that one side
is smaller than the other!

Bear, Bear!
I've just got a great idea!

-Really?
-Yeah, Bear, yeah,

if, if, if I, Tutter,
just turn this box around...

[struggling]

Like so, it should fit,
it should fit, Bear...

-Yeah!
-It worked!

I did it! I did it! I'm so
smart! Thank you, Bear!

-I'll see ya! Boxy, boxy, boxy!

Good thing that
box was a rectangle.

Ok, there’s a couch shape...

ALL: Couch shape!

And there's a desk shape...

[expedition music]

PIP AND POP: Desk shape!

And there's a wall shape...

-Wall shape!
-Wall shape! It’s very flat.

-And there's a book shape...
-That's a book shape alright!

Ojo, Pip and Pop,
what are you guys doing?

-We're....
-Shape Explorers!

♪ Shape explorers go! ♪

We're finding all the
different shapes, Bear.

There's about a gazillion,
I think.

Actually, a gazillion...

-three hundred...
-and fifty

-two. About that. Yeah!
-Wow I didn't know that.

But Bear, I haven't found

the special shape
I'm looking for.

-You haven't?
-No.

I'm looking for one shape
just for me.

Aww.

-Uh, Ojo? Come here.
-Yes, Bear?

I want to show you something.

There’s something
you should see.

Now hold it right there.
Now watch this!

[exclaims]

What’s that, Bear?

BOTH: What a great shape!

That’s you, Ojo.
That’s your shape!

Really? My own special shape?

Yep. That’s Ojo, alright.
That’s her.

Yep, that's the shape you're in.

The Otters have
an otterish shape...

-Cool shape!
-Yeah!

And you and I have very
special Bearish shapes.

Wow!

♪ What I see with my eyes is
two bears of different sizes ♪

♪ One of them is me,
and one is you ♪

♪ You're bigger
and you're taller ♪

♪ And you’re a little smaller ♪

♪ But I am still
a bear shape too ♪

Well today has "shaped" up
to be quite a day!

[laughing]

Hey, you know
who I haven't seen today?

My special friend, Shadow!

But maybe if we look real hard

and sing a song together,
she'll appear. Sing with me!

where is Shadow? ♪

Have you seen my friend, Shadow?

[Shadow laughing]

Hey, you big o’ Bear!!
I'm over here!

[laughing]

Hi, Shadow!
It’s so nice to see you.

So, what have you been
doing today?

I was just dancing with
the sunlight in the kitchen.

Ooh that sounds like fun.

Well, Shadow, I was wondering
if you and your shadow friends

could tell us a story?

Why certainly, Bear!

Let me see what I can
fancy for you. Just watch!

little star... ♪

Hey, what’s that big
light up in the sky?

I’m trying to sleep down here!

♪ How I wonder what you are ♪

Gosh dang it, what is that
thing?

I used to know what it was.

It’s a... It’s a...
It looks familiar.

♪ Up above
the world so high... ♪

Woo-wee, look at that thing!
It’s really up there!

♪ Like a diamond in the sky ♪

MAN 1: Diamond? I’m rich!

♪ Twinkle,
twinkle little star... ♪

Yeah, don’t tell me,
don’t tell me.

It’s... It’s... It’s...

[yawns]

♪ How I wonder what you are ♪

Ah, I don’t know what it is.
I give up.

[laughing]

Shadow, have you
ever played with starlight?

Many a time, Bear.

Starlight is the
best light of all!

Ooh! That's good to know.

Well, I'm off.
But when you need another story

just try to find me!

[both laughing]

-Bye, Shadow.

I wonder what it's like
to play with the stars.

I think I know just who to ask.

[soft music playing]

The attic. Isn’t it great?

Sometimes I like
to just to come up here

and look out at the stars.

It’s also where I come
to talk to a special friend.

Let's go see if we can find her.

There she is. It’s Luna,
my friend the moon.

-Hi, Luna!
-Hello, Bear!

I was just getting
ready to rise up

into the night sky
and shine all over.

But tell me, how was your day
in the Big Blue House?

Well, Ojo made the neatest
things with her blocks.

And Treelo made
a tent in the bedroom.

I've always wished
I could fit under a tent,

they look like such fun.

And I got Tutter
a wonderful box to play with

but we had to turn it
just right to make it fit.

And Ojo-
How was that little bear today?

Ojo found out she has
her own special shape.

Everybody has one!

You know,
sitting up here in the sky

I've always found it
comforting that

there are so many
shapes in the world.

And the moon is
such a wonderful shape.

Ah, did you know that
although I’m a circle right now,

from time to time I can change
into a variety of shapes.

Wow! It must be nice to have so
many different "Luna" shapes.

Indeed.

Well, you’ve had
such a fine day.

But now it’s time for me
to return to the sky.

Before everyone
wonders where I've gone.

Oh, well would you join me
in a song before you go?

Of course, Bear!
