We get all sorts of
passengers on Sodor:
bird-watchers, soccer teams,
even dinosaurs.
But one day, I had
the fuzziest passenger ever.
[whistle toots]
All aboard for a big adventure!

Morning, Gordon!
- [barks]
- Uhh...
[whistle toots]
- Are you okay?
- [barking]
- Oh!
- Something wrong
with your voice, Gordon?
Heh, it certainly sounds
a little "ruff!"
[laughs]
- [groans]
- Aw, hello!
What's a little thing
like you doing here?
- [scoffs]
I am not a thing, Nia!
I'm here to pull the Express
and I'm most certainly
not little!

[laughs]
I wasn't talking to you,
Gordon.
I was talking to the dog.
- [barks]

- Get away from me!

Shoo, shoo!
- It must be lost.
Poor thing.
And look!
It doesn't have a collar,
so it could be a stray.

it hasn't got a home?
- [panting]
- [James stammering]
What's it doing?
[gasps]
[dog peeing]

Not on my shiny wheels.
- They're certainly shiny now,
James!
- Well, it can't live here.
A railway is no place
for a dog.
[whistle toots]

- [gasps]
Look out, sir!
- Ah, Emily!
Uh, what is it?
- You almost tripped
over that dog.
- [panting]
- Oh!
[stammering]
Where did you come from?
[laughs]

[stammering]
No, wow.
- Maybe it's lost, sir,
and it's looking for its home.
- Well, it can't live here.
The railway's no place
for a dog.
[chuckles]
I know, I'll call
a dog warden straightaway.
- [barks]
- He'll take care of it.
- [barking]
- Oh!
- I don't think it liked
that idea.
- [barks]
- Oh, no!
[engine stops]
What are you doing?
You can't be running
about the tracks!
They're far too dangerous.

[giggles]
Look!
I think it likes me.
Do you want a ride?

Engines can't have pets.
- Dogs are
a big responsibility.
- [laughs]

I know I can't look
after a dog.
But at least I can help
to find its home.

I'll go and fetch Rocky.

You have caused
a lot of confusion and delay--
- [barks]

for bringing our Thomas
back safely.
- I'm sorry
for causing trouble, sir.
I was just trying
to find the dog a home.
- [chuckles]
Well, it looks like
it may have found a home here
after all.
- Please, may I keep it, Dad?
- Do you promise
to look after it?
- Dogs are
a big responsibility.
- Oh, yes!
I promise I'll look after it.
And I'll bring it to visit you
lots and lots, Big Thomas.
- I'd like that,
but one more thing:
this fuzzy little fella
needs a name.

Fuzzy the Dog.
[laughing and cheering]

- Yay!

- Animals are wonderful,
but looking after them properly
is a big responsibility.
[steam flares]
[laughs]Once,Percy was in such a hurryto pick up some sheep,he didn't waitfor his van to be checked.The sheep escapedall over Sodor.I came to the rescue,but a coach is no placefor a flock of sheep.A railway was no placefor a dog either...But luckily, we helpedto find Fuzzy the Dog a homewith somebody who willkeep it safe and happy.
[steam flares]
So if you're thinking
of giving an animal a home,
make sure you can keep them
safe and happy, too.
