Of a really nice guy

[ALL CHEER]

[MUSIC PLAYING]

[MOTOR WHIRRING]

Whoo-hoo! What do you think, Zow?

Buffed enough for Cheery Spherey Day?

-Oh!
-[BARKS]

-Buff, buff, buff!
-[BARKS]

[PUMP HISSES]

Oh!

-[GASPS]
-[BARKS]

Mighty spiffy, Olie.

All we need now
is the round flag of Polieland.

Zowie find Flaggie.

Ah!

[ALL CHEER]

Cheery Spherey! Cheery Spherey!

Yep, Cheery Spherey Day

is the all 'round roundiest
holiday around.

But remember the old Polie saying,

"You're not really well-rounded
till you know all your shapes."

That's why we always invite
the Bevels over,

on Cheery Spherey Day, right?

Yep, it's a holiday that brings bots,
from all over the universe together.

For a day full of fun
in all shapes and sizes.

BILLY: Happy Cheery Spherey Day!

Anybody for a game of Polie Globie hoof,
with a square twist?

[GRUNTS]

[CHUCKLES]

We Polies are always up,
for a different-shaped twist.

You betcha.

Let the Cheery Spherey Day
combo-shaped games roll!

-[OLIE BOINGS]
-[GRUNTS]

That's one well-grounded hoof, Olio.

Thanks, Globie hoof is the best!

Especially since Mr. Bevel
added square goalie racquets.

I got it! I got it! I...

[QUIVERS] ...got it.

[GROANS]

[GIGGLES]

ZOWIE: Me got! Me got!

Oh, I got it! Whoa! [GROANING]

-ZOWIE: Yay!
-BAXTER: That's my boy.

-Oh, goodness! Are you all right, hon?
-PERCY: You betcha, sweetums.

These square goalie racquets
sure are a swell addition

to a round game. [CHUCKLES]

They just take a little getting used to.

What?

Are you cats ready to see,
some square and round moves

In the Boinky Ball Slam Dunk Competition?

[CHEERING]

Here's the Polie whirl and twirl!

-[BELL RINGS]
-[CHEERING]

PERCY: Yes, sirree!

Catching some square air.

-Groovy!
-[CHEERING]

BAXTER: Yeah!

[GRUNTS]

[GROANS]

What's the matter, Zow?

Zowie no can jump.

We'll fix that, sweetie. Okay, Bevels,
time to stack the boxes.

[BLOWS RASPBERRIES]

BILLY: Okey-dokey.

Let her go, Zow!

[LAUGHS]

-Hup! Hup! Hup!
-Hup! Hup! Hup!

Polie spin, spin, spin!

-[BELL RINGS]
-POLINA: Way to go, Zow!

-Yay, Zowie!
-Yay, Zowie!

Ta-da!

Hard to b*at a square
and round combo like that.

[BARKING]

[BELL RINGS]

Oh! Spot!

You are a round dog,
after my square heart.

-[LAUGHS]
-[BARKS]

[MOTOR HUMMING]

Jeepers, Dad, you sure are giving the lawn

one tiptop waxing job.

You betcha. Nothing says Cheery...
wh... whoa!

...Spherey Day
like some straight waxed lines

-and some buffed, round balls. Whoa!
-[THUDDING]

[CHUCKLES] Ready, boys?

-You betcha!
-You betcha!

Whoa! Oh!

-[THUDDING]
-[MEOWING]

Let me try, Billy.

Whoa!

-[THUDDING]
-[MEOWING]

Hmm, must have over-waxed.

Can't bowl, if you can't keep
your balance.

Whether you're square or round... oh!

-[THUDS]
-[PINS CLATTERING]

Hmm.

This calls for some
different-shaped thinking, right, Billy?

Righty-oh!

[UPBEAT MUSIC PLAYING]

Ready, everyone?

-Go!
-POLINA: Stay in a straight line!

-Whoa!
-Whoa!

-Let her rip.
-Let, let rip.

[ALL CHEER]

Wow, we made a new sport.

Spin the line lawn bowling.

You betcha. A round spin
and a straight line.

A perfect mix of square
and round working...

uh, playing together.

I know an even better thing
to do together next.

The Cheery Spherey Day feast.

[ALL CHEER]

-ZOWIE: Yay!
-PERCY: Yummy.

POLINA: Hope everybody's hungry.

The Cheery Spherey feast
will be ready in a jiff.

While we're waiting to eat,
why not tell the story

of how the first
Cheery Spherey Day came to be?

-Yeah! Daddy start.
-Okey-dokey, Zow.

A long time ago, on planet Polie,

there lived a little round cook,
named Chef Rotundo.

Chef's specialty was his delicious,
round Polie bread.

But he was bored with his one-shaped diet.

So, chef decided to make a trip
into outer space,

to see what different-shaped tastes
he could find.

BONITA: Not long after
he left planet Polie,

Chef Rotundo arrived at the Cheese planet.

BAXTER: He figured a triangle
of cheese would jazz up

his Polie bread nicely.

Oh, ho!

[SNIFFS]

Oh! Incredible!

OLIE: Chef traveled
all through the galaxy,

visiting planets of every shape
and size to try their treats.

At the Tomato planet,

he added tiny round tomatoes.

Ah!

BILLY: From our home, Planet Cubey,

he got the best square pepperoni
in the whole universe.

-Whoo-hoo!
-ZOWIE: Mmm! Pepperoni!

PERCY: So, Chef Rotundo
took all his new-found tasty shapes,

back to the Polie planet.

And created the most
well-rounded dish ever.

-The Polie Pizza.
-Oh, c'est magnifique.

-ZOWIE: Yum!
-ALL: Mmm!

POLINA: The perfect
Cheery Spherey Day feast.

It's round like the Polie planet.

-OLIE: With zesty cheese triangles.
-ZOWIE: Round tomatoes.

-OLIE: And square pepperoni.
-[GIGGLING]

Shapes and sizes from across the galaxy,
to celebrate all of us everywhere.

Everyone dig in and grab a shape.

ALL: Happy Cheery Spherey Day!

-[CHEERING AND WHISTLING]
-[BAXTER LAUGHING]

[UPBEAT MUSIC PLAYING]

OLIE: Mom!

Mom! Mom!

-[SNORES]
-OLIE: Mom!

Mom, where are you?

Goodness, Olie,
what's all the hullabaloo?

What hubbababoo! [GIGGLES]

Look what I got at school, a diary.

Oh!

What driary, Olie?

OLIE: It's a book, Zow.

I write down what I do all weekend
and then read it in class on Monday.

Well, an Olie Polie weekend
is always worth telling people about.

You betcha.

Zowie want driary, too.

But you can't write yet, Zow.

Oh.

Then we'll make a diary
for you to draw in. Okey-dokey, pumpkin?

[GASPS] Okey-dokey. [SQUEALS, GIGGLES]

Draw, draw, draw.

[SNORES]

You're gonna have to do better than that,

if you wanna be
in the Olie Polie diary, Spot.

[YAWNS]

[SNORES]

[GULPS] Done.

Got to get writing.

Saturday...

-I ate a bowl of Rolios...
-[CLATTERS]

OLIE: ...for breakfast.

-[CLOCK TICKING]
-Gee, I guess my class

won't think having Rolios for breakfast
is very exciting.

Hey!

Maybe these Rolios just
need a little more bounce.

First...

-We had to catch them.
-[DISTANT STAMPEDE]

-You reckon that's them, Pa?
-I reckon so, Olie.

OLIE: When the Rolios grow tall and ripe,
it's time for a Rolio stampede.

My Pa and me got to round them up.

-Look out, Pa!
-Whoa.

Whoo-whee!

Much obliged, Olie.

Watch out for them there strays.

OLIE: Yee-haw, little Rolios!

-[COWS MOOING]
-OLIE: Yes, sirree.

There's nothing like herding Rolios.
out on the Rolie Polie prairies.

PERCY: I don't know about
the Rolie Polie prairie,

but your sister's waiting
to play boinky ball in the backyard.

You betcha, Pa, uh, I mean Dad.
[GIGGLES] Boinky ball sounds great.

Okey-dokey.

-After breakfast...
-Boinky, boinky, boinky. [GIGGLES]

OLIE: Zowie and I played boinky ball.

In the sky, ten miles above Polieville.

Come on up, Zowie.

The weather's fine.

-Up, up, up. [GIGGLES]
-OLIE: We Polies are born flyers.

We just flap our arms and away we go.

-Once we get high enough, we just float.
-ZOWIE: Go, go!

Catch, Zow.

-Dizzy.
-OLIE: Nice catch!

Let's see your best high-altitude sh*t,
Zow.

Okey-dokey. Bye-bye. [GIGGLES]

Whee!

[BELL DINGS]

Ta-da!

Now, that's a high-flying
Polie power dunk.

-[GIGGLING]
-Whoa.

[GIGGLES] My turn.

[WHOOSHES]

-[CLANKS]
-[BEEPS]

[BELL DINGS]

[GIGGLES] Play more boinky, Olie?

-Olie? Boinky?
-Huh?

Oh, sorry, Zow.
But I got to keep writing in my diary.

Oh, it's such a beautiful day.

-How about a picnic in the backyard?
-Yay! Pippinic! Pippinic!

Oh, hot, hot, hot, Olie.

Olie?

OLIE: Saturday was hot in Polieville.

Lucky for us, our kitchen has,

a super-secret passageway to,

the North Polie!

-Yay!
-Yay!

[UPBEAT MUSIC PLAYING]

It's a nice cool place
on a hot day, all right. Right, Zow?

Zow?

Zow?

[BARKING]

[PANTS EXCITEDLY]

I'll play with you as soon as I can, Spot.
Just let me write this down, okey-dokey?

[WHINES]

OLIE: In the afternoon,
I played with Spot.

He's a swell dog. He's loyal and fun.

-And he's huge!
-[BARKS]

OLIE: And he has blue and yellow spots.

That's why we call him Spot.

He's so big, we have to go
where there's lots of space for him.

Like outer space.

Some dogs howl at Moonie,
but Spot brings him toys.

He's also really good at fetch.

We always come home
with a new trophy for the yard.

Yep, he's a lot of dog,
and that's a lot of fun.

POLINA: Olie! Dinner!

Dinner already?

[BARKING]

PERCY: You sure did a lot of writing
in your diary today, Olie.

How about reading some for us?

-Uh, well, I, uh...
-Zowie do driary, too.

Zowie and Mommy play boinky ball.

PERCY: And we washed Coupy.

POLINA: Oh, Zowie and Billy,
played with his remote-control plane.

ZOWIE: Zowie play with Spot.

Gee, you did have a big day, Zow.

[SIGHS] A big day of fun.

-Who's that, Zow?
-ZOWIE: That Olie.

Olie no play today.

What did you put in your diary, Olie?

Well, I wrote about a lot of fun stuff
but I made it all up.

Zowie has real fun stuff in her diary.

Olie, it's okey-dokey
to use your imagination.

But a diary is for telling,
what really happened to you.

Never mind.

You'll have lots of real fun stuff
to write about tomorrow.

Olie need two driary?

-[ALL CHUCKLE]
-Thanks, Zow.

One for real fun stuff
and one for made-up fun stuff.

Olie, why don't you tell us
your made-up stories?

Then that'll be a real part of our day.

Okey-dokey, Mom.

-Let's start with "The giant Rolios."
-ALL: Oh!

[DRUMS BANGING]

PERCY: Whoo-hoo!

Wowza, honey bunch!

Oh, just brushing up,
for our Annual Polie-Bevel Talent Contest.

I'm about to brush up on my routine, too.

[CLEARS THROAT]

[FARTS]

Prepare to be dazzled!

Superbot Olie and his Wonderdog Spot,
will now perform the impossible.

[BARKS]

-One, two, and hoop-a-doodle, Spot.
-[BARKS]

-[WHIZZES]
-Ta-da!

Yeah! Way to go!

That's one hot diggity Wonderdog.

How about you, Billy?
What are you going to do?

I don't know. I'm not good at anything.

How about your
"Believe-it-or-not" Billy act,

where you do
all those neat-o science tricks?

Last time I did that,
my super magnovectors,

stuck me and the kitchen sink
to the ceiling.

How about telling a joke?

Yeah! Here's one. [CLEARS THROAT]

What did the cube wanna be
when he grew up?

-What?
-A brick!

Oh.

[SIGHS]

I guess you got to be square
to get it.

-How about cube juggling?
-Forget it.

I'll just watch the show this year.

You got to be in the talent show.

All the Polies and Bevels are in it.

[BONGOS b*ating]

Try the old Pythagoras pretzel,
Bonita Chiquita.

-[LAUGHS]
-[BINKY COOING]

See? Even your mom and dad are practicing.

But how can I be in the show,
if I'm not good at anything?

Everyone's good at something, Billy.

You just got to figure out
what that something is.

Not me.

Maybe, I just don't have a talent.

We gotta think up something
for Billy to do, Spot. We just gotta!

-[BARKS]
-[BIRD CHIRPING]

-[BINKY WHIMPERS]
-It's no biggie.

I don't wanna be
in the silly old show, anyway.

[CRIES]

Block-a-bye, little baby Binky

Block-a-bye in your rocket so high

When the stars are a-twinkling
You'll swish through the sky

-Block-a-bye...
-OLIE: Wow-wee!

Where did you learn
to sing like that, Billy?

It's just a lullaby.
It makes Binky sleepy.

[SIGHS]

Why don't you sing in the talent show?

No way! The show's tonight.

There's no time to practice.

Besides, I can only sing for Binky.

No problemo. I'll help.

You'll be good and ready for the show.

GIZMO: Are you ready?

-It's showtime!
-[APPLAUSE]

Ladies and gentlemen,

get ready for an evening
of tantalizing talent.

Prepare to feast your eyes,
on a sparking spectacle of showmanship

A bonanza of fun and fantasy,

the Annual Polie-Bevel Talent Show!

-[LAUGHS]
-ZOWIE: Yay!

-[CHEERS]
-[WHISTLES]

[PLAYS BONGOS]

-[CLAPPING]
-[FARTS]

-ZOWIE: Yay!
-[CLAPPING]

You just have to take a deep breath
and go for it.

[EXHALES, CHUCKLES] Good luck, Billy.
You'll knock them base over apex.

And now, Billy Bevel
is gonna warble his very own...

-[GASPS]
-A lullaby.

[GRUNTS]

[CLEARS THROAT] Uh, first,
a change of pace.

Prepare to be thrilled by...

[WHISTLES]
-...Superbot Olie...

-[BARKS]
-...and his plucky pooch,

Spot the Wonderdog.

-[CLATTERS]
-[BARKING]

-PERCY: Hooray!
-[CHEERING]

-[APPLAUSE]
-That was fun. You're next.

-I can't do it, Olie.
-Sure you can.

-Come on. They're waiting for you.
-[BARKS]

GIZMO: And now,

last but by no means least,

the moment, you've all been hankering for.

Here to dazzle you
with his vibrating vocals

-Buh-illy, Buh-evel!
-ZOWIE: Yay!

[CHEERING, CLAPPING]

[WHISTLING]

[LULLABY INTRO PLAYS]

Block-a-bye, little baby Binky

[SIGHS]

[COUGHS]

[INTRO STARTS AGAIN]

[STRAINS]

-[MUSIC SLOWS DOWN]
-Oh, no!

Come on, Billy, keep going. You can do it.

[GROANS] Sorry.

[WHIMPERING]

[GROANS]

Uncle Giz, Binky forgot part of his act.

He can't sing unless he sings for Binky.

[WHIMPERING]

[CRIES]

Block-a-bye, little baby Binky

Block-a-bye in your rocket so high

When the stars are a-twinkling
You'll swish through the sky

Block-a-bye, block-a-bye, block-a-bye

That's our little cube.

Snock-a-bye, little baby Binky...

See, Spot, everybody's good at something.

Not a sound nor a peep

Snock-a-bye, block-a-bye, rock-a-bye

Nobody's clapping.
Told you I wasn't gonna be any good.

[LAUGHS] You were better than good.

Look.

-[ALL SNORE]
-BILLY: Gee whiz. I did that?

-[LAUGHS]
-[LAUGHS]

-Yeah!
-Yeah!

[BINKY CRIES]

Block-a-bye, little baby Binky

Block-a-bye in your rocket so high

Block-a-bye, block-a-bye, block-a-bye
