Say, you wanna come inside my clubhouse?

Well, all right!

Let's go.

Ah, I almost forgot.

To make the clubhouse appear,
we get to say the magic words:

Welcome to our clubhouse!

Hot dog! We've got a visitor.

It's Baby Red Bird!

[BARKING]

And look! It's my pal, Pluto.

Hiya, Mickey! I'm so excited.
I got all my tools here and--

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Whoa!

Thanks for the helping hands,
Handy Helpers.

[CHUCKLES] Bye-bye.

Wow. Looks like you're
planning to build something.

Hey, Goofy, what you gonna make?

A tree fort?

A castle?

Ooh, a roller coaster?

I'm gonna build a birdie house outside
for Baby Red Bird.

And his mommy, too.

That's a great idea, Goofy!

With a birdhouse close to the clubhouse,

Baby Red Bird and his mommy
will be right next door.

Yup! We're all gonna be good neighbors.

Will you help Goofy build a birdhouse
for Baby Red Bird and his mommy?

You will? Hot dog!

GOOFY: Woopsy!

Got my footsy stuck in my bucket.

[CHUCKLES]

You know, Goofy brought his own tools.

But I think we should bring along
some Mouseketools

just in case we need them.

-To the Mousekedoer!

MICKEY: A glue stick. Fun!

My handy fishing pole.
That's always handy!

Ooh, a broom.

And the Mystery Mouseketool.

That's a surprise tool
that can help us later.

Toodles will bring them ♪

♪ He's here for me-dle and you-dle ♪

All right!

Now that we've got our Mouseketools,
we can help Goofy build the birdhouse

for Baby Red Bird and his mommy.

Mickey! Pluto! Goofy! Hello, everybody.

-Hiya, Donald.
-Hiya, Donald.

I guess you heard about Goofy's plans
to build a birdhouse.

I sure did! And I got all my tools.

Let's get started!

But first, we need a blueprint.

A blueprint?

That's a drawing
that shows us what to build.

-Hey!
-And it's nifty too.

[TWEETING]

Now, which blueprint
shows a drawing of a birdhouse?

[TWEETING]

Right! That's the blueprint
of a birdhouse. [CHUCKLES]

Now let's take a closer look at it. See?

The blueprint is a drawing
of the birdie house I'm gonna make.

If I follow the drawing,
the birdie house will turn out just right.

Come on, everybody!
We're ready to build a birdie house!

Hiya, boys.

-Hiya, Daisy.
-Hi, Minnie.

Ha, ha! Well, hello, Baby Red Bird.

[TWEETING]

My goodness, you're sweet.

GOOFY: According to the blueprint,

I need a pole
for the birdie house to sit on.

And it's gotta be three Goofy feet long.

But I'm not sure if any of these poles
are three Goofy feet long.

We ought to measure them, Goofy.

Yup! And we can use
my Goofy measuring tape.

Each shoe equals
the size of one Goofy foot.

So this pole is one Goofy foot long.

This pole is two Goofy feet long.

And this pole is four Goofy feet long.

MICKEY: Are any of these poles
three Goofy feet long?

Nope. So, what can we do?

Hmm. Maybe we could nail
some of these poles together

to make a longer one.

-Great idea, Minnie!
-Step aside.

-I'll do it.
-Not yet, Donald.

We don't know which poles put together
will add up to three Goofy feet.

Oh. All right.

MINNIE: Now, which poles
will add up to three Goofy feet?

GOOFY: Well, one Goofy foot is too short.

Two Goofy feet are too short.

And four Goofy feet are too long.

But one Goofy foot
plus one, two Goofy feet equals...

three Goofy feet!

[CHUCKLES] Yippee!

Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy!

All right!

Now I'm gonna hammer
the two pieces together

to make one pole
for the birdie house to sit on.

Let's all hammer together, okay?

Everybody hold your hammer high.
You ready?

Bam, bam, bam!

-Bam, bam, bam! Bam, bam, bam...
-[Grunting]

Say, what's all the racket?

Whoa!

GOOFY: Bam, bam, bam! Bam, bam, bam!

Uh, hey, Goof, could you keep it down?
There's too much noise!

Sorry, Petey! I can't hear you!

There's too much noise!

You can't-- This-- That's what I-- Ooh.

[TWEETING]

[CHUCKLES] That's right, Baby Red Bird.

Your new birdie house
will go right on top of this pole.

And this piece of wood
will be the new floor.

[TWEETING]

So now what, Goofy?

Well, I want to build
the birdie house out of...

playing cards!

I've got cards with red apples,
red berries, orange oranges,

and yellow lemons on them.

But I only want to use the ones
with the red berries.

Why red berries?

Because red is Baby Red Bird's
favorite color.

And because he likes
to eat red berries too.

[TWEETING]

First, let's sort the cards by color.
You ready?

Which cards are the red cards?

Right! Now, which of these red cards
has red berries?

There you go! [CHUCKLES]

Red berries for Baby Red Bird!

I did it! I did it!

One birdie house made out of cards!

Um, Goofy, I think something's missing
on your birdhouse.

There are walls and a floor.

Do you see what's missing
on Goofy's birdhouse?

MICKEY: Right! There's no roof.

[CHUCKLES] A roof!

Gosh, I almost forgot.

Two more playing cards
ought to do the trick.

Nothing up my sleeve--
I mean, something up my sleeve.

[CHUCKLES] And, ta-da!

One little birdie house roof coming up.

Be extra careful, Goofy.

If you accidentally
bump into the card house,

you could make the whole thing
fall to pieces.

[HORN HONKING]

ALL: Donald?

The crane! The crane! Use the crane!

[TWEETS]

Hold on, Donald.

[TIRES SCREECH]

The handy crane is much too big
to put the roof on.

It could knock the whole birdhouse down.

Aw, phooey!

This might be a good time
to get a Mouseketool

to help us gently lower the roof
on top of the birdhouse of cards.

Everybody say, "Oh, Toodles!"

ALL: Oh, Toodles!

[TWEETING]

[RINGING]

MICKEY: Now, let's see. Which Mouseketool

will help us lower
the last two playing cards

on top of the birdhouse?

The glue stick, my handy fishing pole,

the broom, or the Mystery Mouseketool?

[BELL RINGS]

Yup! My handy fishing pole.

We got ears. Say, "Cheers!"

[RINGING]

With my handy fishing pole,
we can gently lower

the last two playing cards
down on the birdhouse.

-Watch out.
-Go slow and easy. Easy.

Hot dog!

-Oh, goody! You did it!
-Hooray!

Ah. This warm milk
will help me get sleepy again.

Ooh. But I'd better blow on it
to cool it down.

Say, what's the big idea?

Oops. Did I huff and did I puff too hard?

I guess my breath is stronger
than I thought. Ha, ha.

Oh, I'm sorry I blew your house down,
Goof, honest.

Aw, that's okay, Pete. Accidents happen.

Glad you see it my way, Mickey the Mouse.

[PETE CHUCKLES]

Oh, well.

I guess building a birdie house
out of playing cards

wasn't such a good idea after all.

[TWEETING]

Well, maybe this is a good time
to get a Mouseketool

to help us clean up all the cards.

Everybody say, "Oh, Toodles!"

ALL: Oh, Toodles!

[RINGING]

MICKEY: What do you think
is the best Mouseketool

for cleaning up the cards?

Hmm. Will the broom work?

[BELL RINGS]

Sure. The broom ought to work just fine.

We got ears. Say, "Cheers!"

[RINGING]

Sweep with us, everybody. Are you ready?

Sweep, sweep, sweep.

Sweep, sweep, sweep.

So, what do you want to do next, Goofy?

Well, uh, playing cards
didn't make a strong birdie house.

So, what if we try straws?

Sody straws, that is!

[SQUEAKING]

[CHUCKLES]

I never get tired of that squeaky-squeaky.

Now, let's see.

I think I'm gonna need a lot of straws
to build the birdie house.

Maybe as many as 100!

One hundred?

Yup. That should be just enough.

So, how many straws do you have, Goofy?

Well, I have a bunch of bundles of straws.

And each bundle has
one, two, three, four, five,

six, seven, eight, nine, 10 straws.

Well, if each bundle has 10,

why don't we count by tens
until we get to 100?

Sounds like a plan to me.

Me too. Let's start counting!

When we count by tens,
we always start with the number 10.

Ready?

Ten, 20, 30, 40,

fifty, 60, 70, 80,

ninety...

DONALD: One hundred! Ha-ha-ha!

Yahoo! One hundred straws!

That's just what we need!

Goofy, is a birdhouse
made out of loose soda straws

gonna be strong enough?

What do you mean?

Well, if the straws aren't held together,

the wind could blow them away.

That's right. Remember
what happened with the cards.

Hmm. We need to make a stronger birdhouse.

I wonder if a Mouseketool
can help hold the straws together.

You bet you, Daisy.

Everybody say, "Oh, Toodles!"

ALL: Oh, Toodles!

[RINGING]

MICKEY: Hmm. Which Mouseketool

can hold the straws together
to make the birdhouse stronger?

[BELL RINGS]

Yup! The glue stick. We can use it
to glue all the straws together.

DAISY: That would make Goofy's birdhouse
stronger for sure.

We got ears. Say, "Cheers!"

[RINGING]

One birdie house made out of straws.

-Gosh, it's great!

DAISY: Oh, how nice!
MINNIE: Ha, ha!

What a sweet little house!

[PLUTO BARKING]

DONALD: Now, that is really something.

MICKEY: Everything a bird could want!

Oh, what's the use?
I might as well play my tuba.

I can always use the practice.

[INHALES]

♪ With a huff
And a puff ♪

♪ And one big hoot
I'll play my tuba with one big toot ♪

Oh, no! My birdie house is blowing away!

[TWEETING]

How exasperating!

Oh, my. Did I huff? Did I puff?

Did I blow your house away? Again?

Oh, that's okay, Petey.

Heh, heh. Well, I'll just go practice
somewhere else.

I guess building a birdie house isn't
as easy as I thought it was gonna be.

Aw, this is for the birds!

Well, I'm not giving up.

Good for you, Goofy.

Now, let's see.
I tried building a birdie house

out of playing cards.

MINNIE: But that blew away.

And then I tried sody straws.

DAISY: But that blew away, too.

Well, there's gotta be something I can use
to make a good, strong birdie house

that won't blow away.

But what?

[TWEETING]

Why, that's a great idea, Baby Red Bird.

Why don't we see if Toodles
has something for us?

Everybody say, "Oh, Toodles!"

ALL: Oh, Toodles!

MICKEY: Gee, all that's left
is the Mystery Mouseketool.

Let's uncover this mystery.

Everybody say, "Mystery Mouseketool!"

ALL: Mystery Mouseketool!

What's today's Mystery Mouseketool?

Building blocks!
Do you think that those will work?

DONALD: I sure hope so.

MICKEY:
Well, blocks are pretty strong, Donald.

They'll do the job all right.

Hot dog! We picked all our Mouseketools.

Say, "Super cheers!"

[BABY RED BIRD TWEETING]

[RINGING]

Now, let's have a looky-see
at that blueprint.

Hmm. What shape do we need for the walls?

GOOFY: A rectangle! Right!

MINNIE: Yup.
That looks like a rectangle to me.

GOOFY: Thanks, Minnie.
It's just what we need.

Uh-oh. Now, this is a tough one.

I'm already scratching my head.
What shape do we need for the roof?

DAISY: I think it's a rectangle too.

All you have to do
is hold the block this way.

GOOFY: Wow! It is a rectangle!

And what shape is the top of the door?

MICKEY: I know! That's a triangle.

Good job, everyone.

Now that we got blocks,
let's start blocking.

Oh-- I mean, building.

Hot dog! A birdhouse made out of blocks!

And it looks just like
the drawing on my blueprint.

[TWEETING]

MINNIE: Oh, ho-ho! Look who's here.

DAISY: Hello, Mommy Red Bird.

Welcome to your new birdie house!

Oh, well. Since I can't sleep,

I might as well cool off
with a little help from my biggest fan.

[CHUCKLES]

[WHIRRING]

[GASPS] Oh, no! The fan!

Oh, dear!
It's going to blow the birdhouse away.

-Aah!
-Oh, turn it off!

[BEEPING]

[TIRES SCREECH]

I knew this would come in... handy!

[LAUGHS]

Well, looky there!
The birdie house didn't blow away.

We finally made it strong enough!

♪ We built us a birdie house
Next to our pal, Mickey Mouse ♪

That's me!

It sure is sweet ♪

MICKEY: Today, we had to nail
