Welcome to Plum Landing.
"The Hidden Alligator Mystery."
Whoa!
Woo-hoo, yeah!
[laughing]
Let's do this, yeah!
Bubbles are the best.
They even come with oars.
How cool is this?
I mean we're under the street.
There are buildings on top of us.

There you are!
Did you find the oar?
Check!
[giggling]: Great.
Let me show you the map.
You are traveling through the land of wastewater,
which is mostly rainwater that's washed off the street
and into a storm drain.
Not to be confused with sewage, which is...
- Ew! - Yuck!
BOTH: We know what sewage is.
- [sighing]: Good, glad I don't have to explain.
Eventually, these storm tunnels will take you to the river.
But before that, I have a mission for you.
I want you to take photographs of whatever you find,
naturewise-- plants, moss, mice, birds, alligators...
BOTH: Alligators?!
[chuckling]: Yes!
That's the mission, direct from Blorb.
I've heard those stories.
That people buy baby alligators as pets,
and when they get too big,
they drop them down a storm drain, which is so mean!
I thought that was made up.
Well, that's the question.
That's what the Blorbians want you to investigate.
I myself have serious doubts.
Alligators like warm water and sunshine.
Okay, Plum, we'll let you know what we find.
If we find an abandoned alligator, I am so rescuing it!
Nope, not gonna happen.
I think that's moss!
BRAD: Moss is nature.
See anything?
CLEMENTINE: I do, a fish!
And baby mice!
Can you get us closer?
BRAD: Hey, where'd the lights go!
[thunder crackling]
Is it raining up there?
[thunder crackling]
This is sort of spooky.
[thunder crackling]
Do you... hear something?
[gasping]
[screaming]
[exclaiming, cheering]
[panting]: That. was. awesome!
And I got it on video!
- Cool. - Sweet.
[both sigh happily]
You know, I like it here.
Though I'm not sure an alligator would.
There's not much to eat.
If I was an alligator, I'd go to Florida-ah!
I see one, an alligator, ah!
What, no way!
Back, paddle back, hurry!
Brad, it's a log.
I knew that.
[laughing]
We just rode a boat through a city.
It's so cool what's under the streets,
and you don't even know.
Ready, Blorbians?
[exclaiming]
Then let me introduce "A Ride Through the City"
A video by Clementine and Brad.
What you don't know-- and never see--
is all the stuff that goes on beneath a city.
Like electrical wires, and sewer tunnels,
and gas lines, and waste tunnels.
But, no alligators.
[disappointed chatter]
But, it's still really cool.
There's mice and fish and vines and moss.
It's like a whole secret world down there.
And when it rains and the tunnels flood, you get this!
