01x14 - Jungle Journey 1: What's that Sound?!!
Posted: 02/28/24 13:11
Welcome to Plum Landing.
[birds and insects singing and buzzing]
[sudden loud chirp]
So that's my latest jungle game.
What do you think?
Love it, except how come there's a car horn?
I thought it was a fire alarm.
I thought it was a blender.
What?!
I didn't hear any of that.
Okay, replay, boosting sound.
[birds and insects singing and buzzing]
[sudden loud chirps]
Wow, that is not a jungle noise.
[sighs]
But I got these sounds from an audio file
that is % guaranteed.
"Live from Borneo: Jungle Jam."
I didn't know there was a jungle in Borneo.
I didn't know there was a Borneo.
It's an island north of Australia.
Brad, Clem, would you bubble there
and try to find that noise?
I can't use this file unless you can prove it's authentic.
Are you kidding me?
Hot dog!
Yay!
[cheering]
Yeah!
Whoa!
♪
Woo-hoo!
Aloha, Borneo!
Woo!
So that was an orangutan.
Woo!
Cool!
So do you hear that fire alarm sound?
You mean the car horn?
Nope.
I only hear you, me and!
[trumpeting]
A baby elephant!
[louder elephant trumpeting]
And its mother, calling for her baby.
We can't travel in the jungle without a sword.
Yee-haw!
[panting]
Are you hot?
Trade?
Okay.
Do you hear it yet, the fire alarm?
Car horn.
Nope.
And you know why?
Because it's probably coming from a giant monster
that no one's ever seen because he's shy like Big Foot.
Um, maybe
Let's build a hidey spot.
We can stay there until he gets thirsty
and comes to the river to drink.
Great idea!
I saw that on a PBS nature show once.
[beeping]
[whispering]: See anything?
[barking]
Those are barking deer.
I wonder what they're saying.
[leopard growling]
Did you see that?
They heard the leopard growl and boo!
Outta there!
[chuckles]
[sudden loud chirp]
[screams]
In the tree overhead!
What is that thing?
[chirping continues]
Only one way to find out.
You go first.
[chirping continues more loudly]
[shouting]: Why does he have to be so loud?
He's probably trying to scare us away!
[chirping growing louder]
[chirping stops]
It feels like he's close somehow,
but I don't see anything.
[chirping continues]
No, it can't be.
Why are you looking at a bug?
We're trying to find a monster.
[chirping continues]
No way, that's the smallest, loudest monster
I've ever seen.
It's not a monster, it's a cicada.
Oops.
What do you mean "oops"?
I think the solar battery just died.
Calling Plum, can you hear me?
