I'm getting ready for my sleepover

with Javi tonight! I've got my sleeping bag...

And a pillow...

And my cutie wootie stuffie!

[meowing]

Oh! And of course, my cutie wootie ball cat.

Rosie's Rule: Cutie wootie cats love sleepovers!

-[doorbell rings] -[gasps]

Javi's here! Javi's here!

i¡Hola! Gracias, hermano,

for letting Javi sleep over tonight.

i¡De nada! You must be very excited

about your cooking workshop.

I am!

I'm going to learn how to spice up my salsa,

perfect my mole poblano,

and beef up my barbacoa!

Ugh, and I can't do any of it without...

my lucky spoon!

Why's it lucky, Tía?

Verás, Rosie.

When I first opened my restaurant,

your abuela gave me this spoon as a gift.

And since then, I've never cooked a single dish without it!

No spoon? No Chef Tía!

Oh, you better get going to the station.

[Rosie]: It's getting closer!

the bravest creature in the kingdom...

[gasps] That's Tía's lucky spoon!

[Papá]: Ay no. She must have taken your backpack by mistake.

But she needs her lucky spoon for her cooking workshop!

No spoon? No Chef Tía!

I'll call her and let her know.

[phone ringing] ¿Marco? ¿Qué pasa?

Hermana, you took the wrong backpack!

I did? i¡Ay! I can't come back and get it

or I'll miss my train!

No hay problema.

We'll jump into the car and bring it to you!

Train station, here we come!

[engine sputtering] Huh.

What's that noise, Papá?

[gasps] Is the car broken?

[chuckles] It's not broken, Javi.

[engine sputtering]

It just won't start.

But don't worry, I'm sure I can fix it.

[humming]

Ah! I think I see the problem.

[clanging] Hmm?

Okay, maybe I can't fix it.

But what about mamá's lucky spoon?

Don't worry, Javi.

We just have to find another way to the train station!

Hmm, but how? I've gotta know!

What's another way to get to the train station?

♪ Then zoom down a rainbow on a big hunk of cheese ♪

Mmm, cheese...

I left a message for Mom.

But I don't think she can take us.

Maybe we'll have to zoom down a hunk of cheese after all!

I was thinking more like...

another kind of transportation.

-Huh? -What's transportation?

It's something that takes us from one place to another.

Like how an airplane can take us from Texas

to Mexico City to visit Abuela.

Or how a car can take us from our house to the train station.

When it's not going... [mimics sputtering]

Uh... Correcto.

How about...

this pogo stick!

[gasps, giggles]

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Falling!

Rosie's Rule: Pogo sticks are fun,

but not the best kind of transportation.

I think we need something a little easier to use.

-[bicycle bell ringing] -[Papá]: Exacto.

That's why we're going to...

ride our bikes!

We're gonna ride our bikes to the train station?

That's even better than pogo sticks!

[phone ringing]

Hola, hermano. Are you coming with my backpack?

i¡Ya vamos! We're riding our bikes there right now!

Bikes? What about the car?

I'll explain later. See you soon!

i¡Vengan, niños! Follow me to the bike trail!

-To the bike trail! -i¡Vamos!

[bright music]

Look! The bike trail is right up there!

i¡Ay, no! What's this?

Sorry, sir. We're doing construction in the park today.

The bike trail is closed.

Closed?! But what about Mamá's backpack?

-Backpack? -And her lucky spoon?!

Uh, look, I just hold the sign.

Do you know when they'll be done?

We just can't get to the bike trail...

I'm meeting my friends to play Lotería.

I've been practicing in case I win. Escuchen.

[clears throat] i¡Lotería!

[giggling] Muy bien!

¿Qué pasa?

Tía took the wrong backpack

and now she doesn't have her lucky spoon!

i¡Ay, no! She needs her lucky spoon!

No spoon? No Chef Tía!

We need to bring it to her,

but the car isn't working and the bike trail is closed!

Miren, niños.

There are lots of ways to get from one place to another.

[gasps] I won!

i¡Lotería!

i¡Adiós, granitos de arroz!

[both]: i¡Ciao, bacalao!

[Papá]: I have bad news, niños.

The bike trail won't be open for a while.

Well, we have good news, Papá.

We can take another kind of transportation.

[honking]

[gasps] Like the bus!

i¡Qué gran idea!

That's transportation,

and we can even put our bikes on the front rack. Vamos.

-Woo-hoo! -Yay!

Hello, we are taking this bus to the train station, please!

Actually, this bus is going to the zoo.

The zoo?!

Well, that's new information!

Why's it going there?

Different busses go to different places, mija.

We need the bus that's going to the train station.

[gasps] It's right there!

Bikes on the bus!

Here we go!

[phone ringing]

Hermano, my train is leaving soon.

¿Ya merito llegan?

Sí, almost there, we're on the bus now!

The bus? I thought you were riding your bikes!

How are we going to get home?

Yeah! The bus doesn't go to our house,

-and the bike trail is closed! -[horn honking]

Hi, everyone!

-Mom! -Auntie Liz!

I got Papá's message that you'd be here.

I'm taking you home.

Wow-mazing! And guess what, Mom?

Your car is transportation, too!

It will take us from here back to our house!

[Rosie]: You could even go see Abuela

if you catch a plane and fly!

♪ Transportation's what you need ♪

♪ To get from here to there

♪ Come on, everyone

♪ Let's all have some fun

♪ It's time to take some transportation ♪

-Rawr! -Oh!

Uh-oh. Purple Dragon hears something

coming from the moat!

Is it another crocodile?

-Rawr! -[giggling]

[Papá]: Would either of you brave knights

like some quesadillas?

-Dee-yummy! -i¡Qué rico!

Then march those feet to the kitchen!

Hey, prima.

Our feet are transportation too!

Rosie's Rule:

Transportation can take you from one place to another.

Even to the kitchen to eat quesadillas!

Rawr!

The Flying Disc Dilemma.

[giggling]

[Crystal]: One more sticker... There!

My disc is ready!

It looks wow-mazing, Crystal!

You are definitely gonna win the disc competition.

Totally!

How do you win the competition again?

See those people practicing over there?

[Crystal]: When the competition starts, I just need to throw

my disc further than all the other discs.

Well, you can certainly do that!

Show them how you throw, Crystal.

Alright!

[grunting]

Mama Macaroni!

[Javi]: Look at it go!

Rosie's Rule: Big sisters can throw flying discs very far.

Coming back at you!

[grunting]

[both]: Wow!

Rosie, will you hold my disc while Marco and I go check in?

You got it, Crystal!

C'mon, Marco!

[Papá]: Ya voy, ya voy...

We'll be right over here!

Guess what, Javi?

One day, I'll be in the disc competition.

Me too!

-[children giggling] -Huh? That's not a flying disc!

Hi, Rosie. Hi, Javi. It's actually a glider.

We're testing it out to see how fast it goes.

Pretty fast, I'd say!

-Wanna come play with us? -Thanks, Quinn,

but we're going to watch Crystal in the disc competition.

And we need to be here to help!

Wanna try throwing the disc while we wait?

Super duper segura!

[grunting]

Whoa, ah!

i¡Qué padre! Let me try throwing it.

[grunts]

[giggling]

i¡Muy bien, primo!

i¡Ahí te va!

Watch this great, big, wow-mazing throw!

[grunts]

[Javi]: Wow!

That's a great trick, prima.

It landed in that tree!

Wait...

That wasn't a trick, was it?

[Rosie]: Nope!

And Crystal needs it

for the competition, doesn't she?

Yup!

We have to get the disc out of the tree.

Hmm, but how?

I've gotta know!

♪ I have a great big question

♪ And I just can't let it go

♪ Yo quiero saberlo

♪ I really gotta know

How do we get the disc out of the tree?

Maybe...

♪ We'll set up a supertastical trapeze ♪

♪ With an acrobat who tumbles and likes to wear red skis ♪

♪ We'll float to the top in a hot air balloon ♪

♪ And scoop up the disc with a magical spoon ♪

Gigantic spoon...

[Javi]: Hey, there's a squirrel!

[Rosie]: Little squirrel?

Can you please throw down my sister's disc?

[Javi]: Pretty please?

Hmm...

Ooh! Maybe if we shake the tree branches,

the disc will fall out.

i¡Claro! Let's get shaking!

[grunting]

Ah! Hmm...

No disc. Just a bunch of acorns.

Ack! Ooh! Eeh!

What if we never get it down

and it's stuck up there forever?!

Ow! Ah! Whoa!

Espera, Javi, we just need to think.

-We'll get it down. -How?

I don't know yet, but that's why I'm thinking!

[gasps] i¡Ya sé!

Maybe we can throw something up at the tree

and knock the disc to the ground!

Like... this pinecone!

[gasps] Or...

This shoe! Una, dos, tres!

[grunting]

Rosie, that was my shoe!

Well, that's new information!

Why'd you take your shoe off?

There was an acorn in it!

Now my shoe is stuck in the tree, too!

Oops. Perdón, primo!

Rosie's Rule.

If you use a shoe to get your disc back,

make sure it's not your primo's shoe!

I'm all checked in! [excited squeal]

-I can't wait! -Uh...

Hmm? Hey, that's funny.

The disc in that tree looks just like Crystal's.

Well...

[gasps] That is my disc!

But it can't be my disc!

Rosie, Javi, is that my disc?!

I'm sorry, Crystal!

I was throwing it to Javi

but it whooshed right past him,

and it landed in the tree!

I didn't know your disc could go that far, Crystal.

You might really win the competition after all!

Not if my disc is stuck in a tree!

That's true.

[Papá]: Veámos.

I can try and use this stick to get it down.

Cuidado. Backup a bit, please.

Maybe... ya casi...

Ooh, I think--

Uh! Acorns?

[chittering]

[announcer]: Attention, disc throwers!

The competition will be starting soon!

Oh no! I need my disc

or I can't be in the competition!

I know who can help!

I'm calling Abuela!

[chiming]

[both]: i¡Hola Abuela!

i¡Hola, mis niños!

My friends and I are visiting El Castillo de Chapultepec.

[Javi]: Wow!

[Rosie]: A real castle? Wow!

Sí. ¿Qué pasa?

[Rosie]: Crystal's disc is stuck in the tree

and she needs it for the disc competition!

i¡Ay, no! Did you try using a stick?

-Yes. -Uh-huh.

Throwing something?

Javi's shoe.

See?

[gasps]

Hmm. It sounds like you need something

that can fly up to that tree and knock down the disc.

Like an airplane?

Or another kind of transportation that flies.

[gasps] Time to go inside the castle.

[both]: i¡Ciao, bacalao!

Okay, Javi, what transportation can fly up to the tree?

[Jun and Quinn cheering]

[gasps] That's it!

Jun! Quinn!

Hi, guys. Uh, what's up?

Crystal's disc! It's stuck up in the tree!

Can we please borrow your glider to get it down?

[gasps] You mean like a rescue mission?

[giggling] Let's do it!

-i¡Vamos! -Let's go!

Almost...

Ya merito...

Marco, I think you got something!

Is that a shoe?

[Javi]: Yes!

Gracias!

Oh! I've missed you, shoe!

But my disc is still up there!

Crystal, try this glider!

It can fly in the sky and get the disc down!

C'mon, little glider.

Show us what kind of air transportation you are!

Ugh! It didn't work.

Let me try!

[grunts]

[gasps]

[giggles] My disc!

[all cheering]

Crystal, I'm sorry I threw your disc into the tree.

That's okay, Rosie, I know you didn't mean to.

But you know what?

You are a really good disc thrower.

You might be ready for the competition

sooner than I thought.

[announcer]: Disc throwers get ready!

The competition is starting!

Apúrense, niños.

We need to go across the bridge to the contest!

We don't need a glider for that.

'Cause we're on land!

And we have our feet.

[both]: You're welcome!

Huh?

[Papá]: Oh no!

Looks like the bridge is roped off for the competition.

But we're on the wrong side of the lake!

We're over here,

and the competition is over there!

Ugh! We finally got the disc out of the tree,

but now we can't get to the competition

because the bridge is blocked and--

I need to flop.

Breathe in... [inhales]

Breathe out... [exhales]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out.

i¡Vamos a ver!

Everyone! We need to find transportation

to take us across the lake.

Too bad we can't all fit on the glider.

[gasps] Wait a secamadoodle!

Look, we can fit in a boat!

It's transportation too! But it goes on water.

Great thinking, Rosie!

Let's do this!

Keep pedalling!

-Wee! -Woo-hoo!

Gliders are great when you need to fly.

But boats are just the transportation you need

to get across the lake!

♪ Driving on the land ♪

♪ Flying through the air

♪ Sailing on the water

♪ All these ways to get somewhere ♪

♪ Many different kinds of transportation ♪

♪ You could take a bus

♪ A scooter or a car

♪ A sail boat, a row boat

♪ Or an airplane, if it's far

♪ So many different kinds of transportation ♪

♪ Oh, a train can chug, chug, chug ♪

♪ Across the countryside

♪ And a helicopter zooms up in the air so high ♪

♪ Why not hop aboard a ship and float across a giant sea ♪

Wow! There are so many different kinds

of transportation for you and me!

♪ You could ride a bike

♪ Or paddle a canoe

♪ You could even rise up

♪ In a big hot air balloon

♪ Well, come on, everyone

Okay, disc throwers!

[gasps]

Rosie's Rule:

You can travel in the air,

or on land,

or on the water.

As long as you have the right transportation to use!

-[chittering] -Hmm...

[giggling]

Who's ready for some crispy, crunchy, munchy tostadas?!

-Ooh, I can't wait! -Dee-yummy!

Ah, ah, ah! Espera, niños.

Before you take a bite,

I must show you how to eat a tostada.

Marco, we already know how to eat tostadas!

Cierto! But eating tostadas can be very messy.

One bite, and splat! Tostada bits everywhere!

The best way to eat a tostada is like this.

[crunching]

How was that?

Perfecto!

That is excellent tostada eating!

My turn!

i¡Muy bien, campeóna!

Iggy turn!

Okay, Iggy. You must be very careful!

Iggy very careful!

Ah...

[gasping]

[cheering]

i¡OÓrale, Iggy!

[laughing]

All of you are Fuentastic tostada eaters!

I guess I was worried for nothing.

Let's eat! Buen provecho.

I guess the one who had to learn how to eat a tostada

was me!
