the clown fishand the sea anemone.

-Talk about agreat team of buddies.

-These creatures reallyknow how to get along.

-The clown fish and sea anemonelive together in the oceans.

Living in the oceancan really be dangerous

it's a fish eatfish world down there,

with lots of predatorsat every turn.

Like this colorful grouper.

Can you believe those chompers.

The tasseled woe be gone shark,

a puffer fish

and of course there'sthere's always a white tipreef shark swimming around.

the clown fishand the sea anemone reallywatch each others backs.

Clown fish and sea anemone, clown fish and sea anemone, clown fish and sea anemone,

Whoo! That's hard.

Let's see I thinkI'll call you Finn

-And Sting does stingso you better give the

sea anemone his spaceunless you can do what the

clown fish does, you are gonna get zapped.

-Okay Finn, showus how it is done.

I'm watching.

What does he do?

-When a sea anemone is defendingherself or catching prey,

she sh**t littlestingers from her tentacles.

But she doesn'tsting a clown fish.

Here's why.

A sea anemone is coveredwith slime, so the clown

fish does a little dancecovering herself with slime

and making the seaanemone think that she is

just anotherone of her tentacles.

The clown fishbecomes a sea anemone.

That's why the sea anemonedoesn't att*ck the clown fish.

-So you're sayingI have to do a danceand rub myself with slime?

-That's right Zoboo.

That's how theclown fish does it.

-Okay I'll do it.

I'll try the be my buddy boogie, but I'll try without slime.

Can you help mefind a special buddy?

-Sure Zoboo, let'sall keep an eye out fora special buddy for Zoboo.

Somebody who willhelp him out as much as the

clown fish and seaanemone help each other.

There's anotherreason the clown fish and

sea anemoneare great buddies Zob.

You see the clownfish lays eggs and she lays

those eggs underneaththis thing on the sea

anemone called an oraldisk it's a safe place for

theeggs until they hatch becausethe sea anemone protects them.

-And that's not all, aclown fish isn't a great swimmer

so it's not a goodidea for him to be swimming

around the ocean all alone, ifa clown fish wants to survive,

he has to finda sea anemone to live in.

-Soyou can think of the sea anemoneas the clown fish's house.

It's a safe place togo when there's danger around.

-And the seaanemone gets a great bonusout of being buddies too.

He gets protection from hisenemies like the butterfly fish.

You see, one of theclown fish's jobs is to chase

away any butterfly fish.

That's because a butterflyfish will bite the sea anemone

taking off a chuckof tentacle with each bite,

so the clownfish has to chase away

butterfly fishto protect his buddy.

-Sting and Finnare made for each other.

I'll keep lookingfor somebody who doesn't
