The Tale of Jemima's Egg.

-[Benjamin] OK. Ready? Say it now.
-[Peter] Oh, do we have to?

Go on. It's amazing. I promise.

-Looks like rain, Benjamin.
-Looks like rain, Benjamin.

Rain, you say?

Then it's time for my dad's
latest amazing invention.

-Whoa-oh-oh-oh!
-[both gasp]

[grunts]
Frederick B Bouncer's sensational...

-[grunts]
-[Peter] Benjamin!

...pocket-sized... [grunts] pop-up...

Aaah!

Umbrella!

-There. What do you think?
-Uh... [giggles] It's very big.

-Yet surprisingly small.
-Ha! That's the beauty of it!

Fold it up, it's tiny.

Then when it rains,

all you have to do is click
the button like this and...

-Whoa! Oh! Waah!
-[both] Benjamin!

I'm OK. Go!

[Benjamin] Aaaah! Aaaah!
Whoa! Aaaah! Oooh!

Whoa! Whoa-oh-oh!

-[hums happy tune]
-Whoa!

[shrieks]

Oh, me, oh, my! Ruffle me feathers!

Peter Rabbit,
you almost sent me flying!

-Sorry, Mrs Puddle-Duck.
-My poor, poor nerves.

-Oh, a shock like that could... Oh!
-[Benjamin] Whoa!

-[squawks] Oh, my!
-Benjamin!

[squawks] Oh!

-Are you alright?
-Oh! Oh, no, I'm not.

You've made me late

and I must, must, must get to Ginger
and Pickles' shop before it closes

or there'll be no oatmeal for breakfast.

Mrs Puddle-Duck,
you forgot your egg!

Oh! Oh, me! So I did.

But I'll never make it in time
carrying this the whole way.

Don't worry. We'll watch your egg
for you. It's the least we could do.

Gosh! How kind! Well, thank you,
Peter Rabbit. Do be careful now.

Choppity-chop! Off to the shop!

Wow! That was so nice of you, Peter.

Here, let me help.
I'm great at egg-sitting.

Don't worry. It's in safe hands.

[gasps] Whoa!

Oh. I suppose I should do it.

After all, egg-sitting
is a very important job.

I'm the best one to handle it.

For your information, Lily,
I'm very good at important jobs.

-You?
-Yes, me!

OK, but you'll need to be alert
and patient and very careful--

Alright, Lily, I don't need a list.

But what you do need is my dad's
pop-up umbrella to keep the egg dry.

-Just in case it rains.
-Benjamin, it's not going to rain.

[Lily's Mum] Lily, come in now.
Looks like rain!

Coming, Mother! I have to go.

-Let me know if you need any help.
-I won't need help, and don't worry!

Ha-ha, with looking after an egg?

What's the big deal?
All you have to do is sit and--

[rambunctious laughter]

-Do you hear that?
-[clears throat]

Oh, yeah. Silly me. The egg.

Pine cone bowling! My favourite game!

-Hey, Nutkin, count me in!
-But, Peter, the egg!

Don't worry. It'll be fine.

Good egg.

Hey, Peter, old pal! Come to get a
bowling lesson from the master, eh?

I'm talking about me.

[munches] Mmm! Tastes good!

Ah. Reserve crab-apple!

[giggles]

-Let's bowl!
-Game on!

[wind blows]

Oh, no! [grunts]

Popping hazelnuts!

-Oh! Peter! The egg!
-I'll get it! I'll get it!

[Nutkin laughs]

Snatch-and-catch!
My bestest game idea ever!

-No!
-[Nutkin laughs]

[Peter] Nutkin! No! Bring that back!

Careful! Ooh! Don't drop it!

To me! To me! To me!

[Benjamin]
They think it's a game, Peter!

They're not going to stop
till it smashes!

Ooh! Ooh!

-[Benjamin] It's going to break!
-Whoa! Oh! Oh!

-[grunts, sighs]
-I can't watch!

Game over, Nutkin.

I knew you were going to catch it,
Peter. Never a doubt in my mind.

This time, I am not taking my eyes
of this egg. Not for one second.

Me neither.

-Uh, can I blink?
-[chuckles] Yes, you can blink.

[both snore]

[gasps] Oh, no!

-It's gone!
-Wha...? Aah! Uh, I wasn't asleep.

I was just, uh... resting my eyes.

Come on. We have to find the egg.

Let's paint a face on it.
A big pink face.

-No, I found it. It should be yellow.
-I saw it first.

Stop it, Flopsy! It's mine!

-Yes! You found it! OK. Hand it over.
-[both] No!

We found it.
And we're not giving it to you.

-[both grunt]
-Now what?

Flopsy, no!

Uh, Flopsy, Mopsy,
if you give me the egg,

Benjamin will stay here with you

and you can paint his face instead.

That's right. Wait. What?

[both] OK.

-I'll hand it over.
-No! I'll hand it over!

[both grunt]

-[both gasp]
-The egg! Not again!

♪ You'd best be on your way ♪

♪ Off you go ♪

♪ 'Cause you can't afford to fail today ♪

♪ Proceed with care
Think fast and stay aware ♪

It's waiting there for you ♪

[gasps] Oh, no!
It's heading for Mr Tod's lair!

[dramatic music playing]

-Oh, that can't be good.
-[all] Oh, no!

Oh, what a disaster!

Oh, woe is me!

No fodder, no grub, no tasty nibbles.

Looks like another nourishing bowl
of nothing for me tonight.

[gasps]

Oh, pennies and petticoats!

An egg in a fox's lair?
What to do? What to do?

Don't worry, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle.

I'll get it.
A good rabbit never gives up.

Peter, you can't go in there!
What about Mr Tod?

How very curious!

Where did this toothsome
titbit come from?

-[knocking]
-Oh, drat. Who can that be?

[suspenseful music playing]

What's that? Who's there?
Show yourself!

Well, well. Peter Rabbit.

What better way to follow a nice egg
than with rabbit stew?

-[growls]
-[grunts]

This belongs to Mrs Puddle-Duck,

and you're not having
egg or rabbit for dinner!

No! Hey! Come back!

Whoa! [grunts]

[sighs]

Ha-ha-ha! Look at that!
Safe and sound.

[all cheer]

[all] Oh, get it! Get it!

Aah! Whoa!

[grunts]

[hums happy tune]

Oh, dearie me! Somebody really
ought to look after that egg.

Lucky I left my egg in safe hands.

[hums happy tune]

-[Peter] Hey!
-[all pant]

Huh? Peter!

-Whoa!
-What's going on?

Oh, you were right, Lily.

You do have to be alert and patient
and careful when you're egg-sitting.

Come on!

[dramatic music playing]

-Whoa!
-[all pant]

-[rock cracks]
-[gasps]

Stop! Stop! Everyone, move back.

Very, very slowly.

It's my job to look after that egg...

and that's what I'm going to do.

[all gasp and whimper]

Nearly there.
This day just can't get any worse.

-[thunder rumbles]
-Rain?!

-[all yell]
-[Peter] Whoa!

-[all] No!
-Peter!

-[Lily] Oh! Yeah!
-[all cheer]

[Benjamin] Peter! Wow!

I wasn't worried. I knew
he would use my dad's umbrella.

[Lily] Mmm!

I take it back, Peter.
You're a brilliant egg-sitter.

Thanks.
Now, time we got this egg back.

And it keeps the rain off too.

Whoa-oh-oh-oh!

Thank you, Peter!

What a helpful rabbit you are!

-Any time, Mrs Puddle-Duck.
-Any time?

Oh, that's wonderful!
That's splendid!

I do need one more
teeny-tiny little favour.

Well, I-I-I--

I have to run to Mrs Tiggy-Winkle's,

if you could just look after
something else for me?

-[Peter] Um...
-[Benjamin] Don't worry, Peter!

I'll help, just as soon as I get down!

-[both laugh]
