- Hoobaldoo tiddly peeps,

I'm Hubba Hubba talking

to you from Hoobland and

I'm about to send four

of my favorite Hoobs

down to Earth to find out

all about you for

my great Hoobapedia.

Here they come!

(upbeat music)

♪ You know who the Hoobs

are, Iver, Groove, and Tula ♪

♪ We're Hoobs ♪

♪ And they're ready to go ♪

♪ Now the wheels are turning,

we can all get learning ♪

♪ All the things we

want to know, yay ♪

♪ Hubba Hubba's in Hoobland

and Roma's somewhere far away ♪

♪ Oh, oh, oh ♪

♪ The Motorettes are singing ♪

♪ We keep then engine spinning ♪

♪ Hoob Hoob hooray ♪

♪ The Hoobmobile is

coming your way ♪

♪ Oh, here we come ♪

♪ The Hoobs are here

so what do you say ♪

♪ Hoobs ♪

(solemn music)

- Hoobaldoop, Tula.

- Oh, hobbaldoop, Iver.

- I've just finished making

some Hoobofizz, I'm so hot!

Phew!

- Me too, Pphew!

(laughs)

- Oh what's that

you're coloring?

- Oh, I'm coloring a

peep sun I've made.

- A peep sun?

- Mm.

- Why?

♪ Why, why, why ♪

♪ Why ♪

- I'll tell you why.

Because I wanted to think

of something to color

with my new, yellow pen.

And while I was thinking, I

was getting hotter and hotter.

So I thought, why

am I getting hot?

And I realized it was

because the peep sun

is especially hot today.

Then, I realized, that's it!

The peep sun is the perfect

thing for me to color

with my new, yellow, Iver!

- Huh?

- You're not listening!

- Oh, I'm sorry, Tula.

It's just I'm so hot,

I'm finding it hard to listen.

- Yes and I'm so hot, I'm

finding it hard to color.

- [Both] Phew!

- Oh, where's Groove?

- [Groove] I'm in here, Iver.

- Groove?

Groove, are you okay?

Groove?

What are you doing?

- Oh, I'm just sitting.

Being hot.

Oh, boy, do you know

it never gets this

hot in Hoobland?

- You're right.

Phew!

- There must be something

a Hoob can do to stay cool

in all this heat.

- Yeah, but I'm not sure

this is helping, Tula.

- No, I don't suppose it is.

So, how can a Hoob stay cool

when the peep sun gets too hot?

- Hubba, hubba, hubba!

How can a Hoob stay

cool when the peep sun

gets too hot?

That's a

fan-tabby-hooby question

for today's Hoob news!

Oh I say!

Are you all right Hoobs?

- Eh, yes, yes, oh,

oh yes Hubba Hubba.

We're just.

- [Group] So hot!

Phew!

- Oh, hooby galooby, is that

why you all keep going phew?

- [Both] Yes!

- Well in that case, we

must answer this question

in record time.

I'll email Roma

and ask her to find

out how peeps cool themselves

down, and in the mean time,

what have I got on Hoob net?

Let me see, ah.

(upbeat music)

Now, what're they

doing to stay cool?

'Cause it looks very

hot there, Hoobs.

Ah, wouldn't you know it?

A peep in the water!

More tiddly peeps in

water there, you see?

There's a tiddly

peep having a splash.

I bet they're all going

phew there, Hoobs.

Oh, that was a long drop!

Oh look, there's a

mini hooble bobber.

Ah what fun, look!

One, two, three splash!

- You won't catch me

splashing about and getting

wet and drippy!

- Huh, you won't catch

any Hoob splashing about

and getting and drippy, Tula.

- (grunts) I'm feeling quite

wet and drippy as it is.

- That's because you're

hot and sweaty, Groove.

- Sweaty!

Oh, yuck.

- Well I can't help it, Tula.

It's not my fault.

- Oh, Groove.

How can we cheer you up?

- Well, a hoobledigger

might help.

- Well I'm not giving

you a hoobledigger

if you're all

sweaty, Groove, yuck!

- All right, all right.

We'll have to find

a way of cooling

you down, that's

bound to cheer you up!

- But how?

♪ How, how, how ♪

♪ How, how, how, how, how, how ♪

- Hubba Hubba, I know how Hoobs!

- Oh good, tell us, Hubba Hubba!

- Well, I don't actually

know how personally,

you understand, but I bet

the tiddly peeps will!

- Hoobacious idea!

I'll go and ask the tiddly

peeps how they keep cool.

- Oh, well, I'll

drive you there, Iver.

- And I'll just sit here

feeling, ugh, hot and sweaty.

- Seatbelt.

- We're off to see

the tiddly peeps.

(giggle)

(joyful music)

♪ We're off to see

the tiddly peeps ♪

♪ On the road we go, we're

off to see the tiddly peeps ♪

♪ They're smart,

they're fun, they know ♪

♪ The tiddly peeps,

the tiddly peeps ♪

♪ Help us find things out ♪

♪ They give us clues,

they tell us news ♪

♪ That's what

they're all about ♪

♪ We're off to see the tiddly

peeps, on the road we go ♪

♪ We're off to see the

tiddly peeps, they're smart ♪

- Hoobledoop tiddly peeps!

- [Both] Hoobledoop, Iver!

- Phew, it's almost too hot

for hoobledooping today.

- It is really warm!

- That's the trouble.

It's got so hot

in the hoobmobile,

we don't know what

to do to stay cool!

- Well, you can fan yourself.

- Oh!

- Yes, you can use anything.

One of these big books will do.

- We need things we

can flap about Tula.

Ugh, I might have something.

- Another thing you can

do is wear fewer clothes.

I've got this t-shirt

on, the sleeves are short

so that keeps me cool.

- It's good to wear

layers of clothes,

'cause if you get hot, you

can take one off, look!

- Ah, take clothes off, right.

- I feel much cooler already!

- Hoobygalooby!

Did you hear that, Tula?

So all we have to do is

to take off more clothes!

- That's right!

- Oh, thanks ever so

much tiddly peeps!

I'd better get back

to the hoobmobile now,

but thanks for all your

help, hoobletoodledoo!

- [Both] Hoobletoodledoo!

(laughs)

(upbeat music)

- Ah ha!

Just what I was looking for!

(humming)

- Did you hear that, Tula?

The tiddly peeps take their

clothes off too keep cool.

What are you doing?

- Hoobs don't wear

clothes, Iver.

So in order to test out

whether to taking them off

makes us cooler, I've

first got to put some on.

- Hoobygalooby, you're right!

- Here's my collection of

things you can flap about!

Tula, what're you doing?

- Oh, she's taking

her clothes off to see

if it makes her feel cooler.

(calm jazz music)

- [Both] Well?

- No, no cooler at all, phew!

Taking clothes off

doesn't work for a hoob.

- Ah, but if a hoob

could take his fur off,

then he might feel cooler.

Obviously we can't do that, but

we can try fanning ourselves

with something from my

collection of things

you can flap about.

Tula, you try this, here we go.

And, Iver, that's for you.

- Oh, thank you.

- Are you ready?

Fan away!

(upbeat piano music)

- Oh, well it did make

a nice cool breeze.

But all this fanning,

its far too tiring!

It just makes you hot again.

(sighs)

- [Roma] Roma.

- Maybe Roma has the answer!

- Hoobledoop, Hoobs!

- [Group] Hoobledoop, Roma!

- Now today, I'm in

a place where peeps

and tiddly peeps come

to have fun in the sun!

- Aren't you all hot

and sweaty, Roma?

'Cause I am.

- I don't sweat, Groove!

I glow.

But not when I

have one of these.

- What is it, Roma?

- Its a parasol, Tula!

Isn't it hoobacious?

It shades me from the sun,

so the sun doesn't get to me.

And if the sun doesn't get

to you, you don't get hot.

And in your case,

Groove, sweaty!

- I'm going to order some

from hoobnet right away, Roma!

- Good idea, Iver!

And get this Hoobs,

you can use the parasol

to play hooby hidey.

(laughs)

Hoobledoop!

Hoobledoop!

(laughs)

And you can wander up and

down in the midday sun.

Keeping you cool and looking

hooabciously stylish,

just like me.

Tra la la la la la.

- [Both] Hooble toodledoo!

- Groove, parasols have

got to be the answer!

- Yeah, they're

hooby groovy, too!

- And here they are, all ready.

Now then, there's a box

full so Tula help yourself.

Groove, this can be

for you, and oh, there!

Now let's see if they work!

(upbeat music)

♪ When the days are

getting hot, hot, hot ♪

♪ When the sun beats

down upon the land ♪

♪ A poor little

hoobville, such a fool ♪

♪ When you're covered in fur

you just can't get cool ♪

♪ Can someone please

lend a helping hand ♪

♪ Working in the heat

is getting very tiring ♪

♪ I'm sweltering, I'm melting ♪

♪ I'm sweating, I'm perspiring ♪

♪ Roma's found something,

we're really impressed ♪

♪ Will it keep us cool,

let's put it to the test ♪

♪ Oh, we're taking a stroll,

a nice little stroll ♪

♪ Twirling a parasol,

in the heat of the day ♪

♪ It's the easiest way of

keeping the sun at bay ♪

♪ A little hoob made, just

won't make the grade ♪

♪ Unless she has shade

to make her cooler ♪

♪ So isn't it jolly to

hide beneath the parolly ♪

♪ It's making me a

cooler little Tula ♪

♪ Oh we're taking a stroll,

a nice little stroll ♪

♪ Way-hay! ♪

- Oh, dear, so, do we

all feel cooler now?

- No we don't.

In fact, I feel even

more hot and sweaty.

- Oh, yuck!

- Oh you just wait, Tula.

It might happen to you!

- No, Groove.

I don't sweat, I glow.

- Enough, enough, you two.

The fact is, parasols are

supposed to keep you cool.

And they didn't.

- No.

But why?

♪ Why, why, why ♪

- I know why, a parasol

shades you from the sun,

but the sun is

outside, not in here!

- So shade is not what we need.

- [Group] Phew!

- Hubba Hubba, still

going phew then Hoobs?

- Yes, Hubba Hubba.

- Well, I have found a

hoobledoobledooper story for you

about keeping cool.

So let's hope you won't be going

phew for much longer!

(upbeat music)

- [Narrator] Peter panther

and Larry Leopard lived

in a very hot jungle, where

they lay in the shade,

swatting flies with their tails.

One day, Peter Panther

thought of something else

they could do.

"Lets have a race!", he cried!

"I'll race you to the

shady water hole!"

So off they went.

They ran and they ran and

they ran and, believe me,

panthers and leopards

can run really fast!

Suddenly, Peter cried, "Stop!

"I'm too hot to run anymore!"

"Me too!", gasped Larry.

"How can we cool

ourselves down?"

"I know," said Peter.

"Let's have a good ol' pant."

So they stuck out their

long, pink tongues and went,

pant pant pant pant pant.

"Better?" Asked Peter.

"much better," replied Larry.

So the race started again,

they ran and ran until they

reached the shady water

hole by which time they were

boiling hot again!

Larry stuck out his

long pink tongue

and had another really good

pant, pant, pant, pant, pant!

Then he said, "Sticking

my long, pink tongue out

"and panting isn't

enough to cool me down.

"I'm too hot!"

"Ah," said Peter, "But

sticking your long, pink tongue

"out and having a drink

from our lovely, shady

"water hole will do the trick."

They stuck out their

long pink tongues

and lapped up the cool water.

Slurp, slurp,

slurp, slurp, slurp!

"I feel as cool as a

cucumber now!" Said Larry.

"Yes let's have another race!"

And they were off!

(Hoobs laugh)

(Groove panting)

- Groove, what

ever are you doing?

- I'm panting, Iver.

Just like Peter and Larry did.

(panting)

- Hm, is it stopping you

feeling hot and sweaty?

- No, phew!

- That's because you don't

have a long, pink tongue

like Larry and Peter have.

- Oh yeah, yeah, it must be the

tongue that cools them down,

so that won't work for Hoobs.

- But a nice cool drink might!

- Yes!

Why didn't we think

of that before?

- Now, I made some hoobofizz

early this morning.

(spring clangs)

- Nope!

Not in the hoobofridge!

- Oh, hurry, Iver!

I'm longing for a cool drink.

- Hm, it must be here somewhere.

- But where?

♪ Where, where, where ♪

♪ Where ♪

- Here's where!

I was sticking

some fresh hoobnips

into the bottles up

on the roof garden

and I got so hot

I came downstairs!

I left them there.

- Oh!

(laughs)

- There you go, Groove.

- Ah, thank you, Iver.

- And Tula.

(bottle popping)

- Thank you.

(sniffs)

- Yeah.

- Ready?

(bottles pop)

(guitar strums)

(groaning)

- It's gone hot!

I'm even more hot

and sweaty now.

- Ugh, oh!

A hot drink warms you up,

it doesn't cool you down.

- Oh, I'm sorry.

I made a bit of a

hooby booboo didn't I?

I'll put it in the hoobofridge.

- But it'll take forever

to cool down, phew!

- Hubba Hubba, was that

another phew I heard, Tula?

- Yes, Hubba Hubba.

We need to find a way to cool

down our hoobofizz quickly.

- Well I can only suggest

that you ask the tiddly peeps

what they do.

- I'll go.

Seeing as I was the one that

let the hoobofizz warm up.

- Oh, never mind Iver.

I'll drive you there.

(somber music)

- And I'll stay here, phew.

- I'd get hot and

sweaty, (laughs) sorry.

(bell chimes)

♪ We're off to see

- Yes, I thought you might

be able to help me again.

- We'll try.

- Haha, well the thing

is, it's still really hot

in the hoobmobile.

So we're trying

to cool ourselves

down by having a cold drink.

- That's a good idea.

- Yes, well it would be.

Except that I forgot

to put our hobbofizz

in the hoobofridge

and it's not very cold.

- Would you like to

try some of our drink?

- Oh yes, thank you!

(lips smacking)

- Oh, oh, that's

hoobaciously cool!

- [Both] Aww!

- How does it stay so cold?

- We put ice cubes in it!

- Ice cubes?

What are they?

- They're water that's

turned into ice!

You can put some in the jug.

- Or you can put them in

your glass and then pour

your drink on top.

- Oh, they sound perfect for

keeping our hoobofizz cool!

Where'd you get them from?

- We made them ourselves

in the freezer!

- I'll put some in a

bag for you and you can

take them back with you!

(laughs)

- Oh thank you, tiddly peeps!

That's really kind.

I'd better get back to the

hoobmobile so we can try it out.

Hoobletoodledoo!

- [Both] Hoobletoodledoo!

- Here we are, Tula.

Let's see if these ice cubes

cool down our hoobofizz.

Please be cool.

Oh, do please be cool.

Thank you, Groove?

Catch!

(laughs)

- Right, please be cool.

- Yeah.

(ice clinking)

- Everyone ready?

- [Both] Yes!

- Here goes.

(guitar strums)

- [Group] Cool!

(laughs)

- That has made me

feel cooler, Iver.

- Yes, hooby groovy.

I'm not nearly so

hot and sweaty now.

- Thank goodness.

- At last!

And just in time for Hoob News!

Come on.

Careful, don't

spill, don't spill.

that's the rule I know ♪

♪ How to do it, don't take

me for a fool, yes I'm cool ♪

(drums begin)

- Hoobledoop, to all

you Hoobs out there.

welcome to Hoob News the news

show for Hoobs everywhere!

I'm Iver.

- I'm Tula.

- And I'm Groove.

- And today we've been

asking the question.

- How can a hoob stay cool

when the peep sun gets too hot?

- [Groove] First we found out

that peeps and tiddly peeps

like splashing about

in water to stay cool.

- [Tula] But that wasn't

the answer for Hoobs

because we don't

like getting wet.

- [Iver] Then tiddly peeps

told me that in order

to stay cool, they

fan themselves or

take some clothes off.

- [Tula] I put some clothes on

and then took them off again.

But didn't feel any cooler.

- [Groove] We tried fanning

ourselves with stuff from

my collection of things

you can flap about.

- [Iver] It cooled us down

a bit, but we couldn't

keep up the fanning for long.

It was too tiring.

- [Tula] Then Roma

told us about parasols.

- [Iver] But parasols

only work outside

to shade you from the sun.

It was still scorching

hot in the hoobmobile.

- [Groove] So Hubba

Hubba sent us a story

and we found out what that we

needed was a long, cool drink.

- [Iver] Mm, but I

had left the hoobofizz

on the roof garden by mistake.

So it got very warm.

- [Groove] Iver went back

to see the tiddly peeps

who told us how to

cool down our hoobofizz

with ice cubes.

- [Iver] So we drank it

down, and soon we felt--

- [Group] Cool, phew!

- So you've stopped

going phew then, Hoobs?

- Yes, Hubba Hubba.

Now we're all going, phew.

- (laughs) And so

it's thanks once again

to Iver, Tula, Groove,

and Roma for giving Hoobs

everywhere a little peep

into the world of peeps.

And remember, wherever you

are, have a nice day

and hobbletoodledoo!

- [Group] Hoobletoodledoo!
