I'm Hubba Hubba, talking

to you from Hoobland,

and I'm about to send

four of my favorite

Hoobs down to Earth

somewhere far away ♪

♪- We keep the

The Hoobmobile is

coming your way

(upbeat rock music)

- Ha-ha whoa

- Well hey!

- Aahhh!

(bright sprightly music)

- A hoobalily,

another hoobalily!

(hums)

Aaah,

now all it needs is

a nice, round, red

ponga-ping leaf.

Hmmm, where is that lovely,

round, red ponga-ping leaf?

Oh, it was here yesterday.

(bright sprightly music)

- Aaah,hooby-groovy

pong-ping leaf (laughs).

- Hoobledoop Groove!

- Hoobledoop Iver!

- Oh that's a nice ponga-ping

leaf you've got there.

Yeah, I'm trying to

add to my collection of

things you might find in a hole.

- Oh, yes--

You wouldn't find a

ponga-ping leaf in a hole.

- Well, no, no, but I

need to dig a hole so

I can look inside one, don't I?

And a pona-ping leaf

is great for digging.

(laughs) See you later.

- Yeah--

Oh Groove, Groove, Groove!

Don't you be long.

We need a question

for Hoob News.

- Ah Hoobledoop Tula!

- (sighs)

- Oh that's a lovely

hooby flower arrangement.

- Well, it would be lovely,

but my ponga-ping

leaf has disappeared!

- Ah--

[Groove](crying)

Oh no!

My ponga-ping leaf is broken!

- Oops!

- Groove!

That was my ponga-ping leaf,

and I needed it for my

hooby flower arrangement!

- No, Tula.

It was my pong-ping leaf,

and I needed it to dig a hole.

- But I grew is specially.

I had it all planned.

- What?

- Oh, I'm sorry, Tula.

I didn't know, honest I didn't.

- Look, I'm sure we

can sort this out.

I mean, perhaps we can get

another ponga-ping leaf!

- Yeah.

- But, how?

- We could grow another one!

- Groove!

Pong-ping leafs

take ages to grow.

And I need one now.

here on the Peep

planet that looks

like a ponga-ping leaf.

- Yes!

- Right.

(echoing hubba)

(mystical whirring)

Tula, that's a

really interesting

question for Hoob News.

- Good.

Because unless we

find something,

my flower arrangement

will never be finished!

- Do you think Roma might be

able to look for something

like a pong-ping

leaf, Hubba Hubba?

- She might, Iver.

I'll email her straight-away.

And in the meantime,

go and ask some Tiddlypeeps?

They're sure to know where Peeps

go to look for things they need.

- Yeah!

- What are your names?

- I'm Ellen.

- And I'm Charlotte.

- I really need your advice.

- What do you want

to know Groove?

- Well, I was using

Tula's pong-ping leaf,

and I accidentally broke it.

- [Girls] Awwwwww!

- I know, right.

- So, now she needs another one,

but we're not sure

where to go to

find a ponga-ping leaf.

Where do you go to get things?

- We probably go to the shops.

- Shops.

- Go to the shops.

- You get most things in shops!

- But if there

are lots of shops,

then how do you know

which one to go for what?

- Because there are

different kind of

shops that sell

different things.

- Shoe shops, hat

shops, dress shops,

all sorts of shops!

- Hooby galooby!

Tula, did you hear that?

- Yes.

- Peeps have hoob

loads of shops!

- Lots of shops.

- Ah thank you so much Ellen.

I'd better get back

to the Hoobmobile now,

so Hoobletoodledoop!

- [Girls] Hoobletoodledoop!

- (laughs)

(rock music)

- Oh, isn't that hoobacious?

Peeps go to the shops

when they need things!

Maybe we can find something like

a ponga-ping leaf in

one of the Peeps shops!

(saxophone plays)

- There we go Tula!

Sorted!

We go to the shops!

- Yeah.

- There must be a shop where

you can find something

like a ponga-ping leaf.

- Yeah.

- Maybe there is!

But where?

(echoing hubba)

(mystical whirring)

- Do you know

where, Hubba Hubba?

- Well, Tula, I have managed to

find some fascinating

information

about shops on Hoobnet.

Take a look, and see if this

gives you any ideas.

(mystical whirring)

(light background music)

- [Hubba Hubba] Ah!

Now Hoobs,

this is a fishmongers!

Whoop!

Oh look Hoobs!

There are some leaves!

- [Tula] Yes!

- [Hubba Hubba] I wonder...

if there are some

more leaves on plants.

That's it!

Perhaps you will

get something like

a ponga-ping leaf from

a Peep plant shop!

Look!

More flowers and plants, Oh!

(mystical whirring)

- Of course!

If you're looking for a leaf,

then you must go to a shop that

sells things that have leaves,

A Peep plant shop!

- Yes!

There's probably

a Peep plant leaf

that's just as good

as a ponga-ping leaf.

- And I'm going

to go out there to

find a plant shop right now!

- Oh Groove!

You are a really

hoobly groobly Hoob!

- Ah, I'll sort this

out for you, Tula,

if it's the last thing I do.

(sprightly band music)

- Oh Iver, how kind of Groove

to go out shopping for me.

- Oh yes, Tula,

and he's bound to

come back with something.

- Hmmm, but what?

♪ What What What ♪

♪ What ♪

- [Groove] Here's what!

(laughs)

Look at this thing.

- Hooby galooby!

- Ummm, what is it Groove?

- What do you think it is?

A hooby blob?

It's a leaf Iver.

I found it in the

Peep plant shop,

and I thought it

would look really

hooby groovy in

your display, Tula.

- But Groove, it's

not red and hard

like a ponga-ping leaf, is it?

- Well, no.

- And it's enormous!

- Well, I'm sorry.

I just thought it

was so hooby groovy,

I couldn't resist it.

Oh, go on, try it,

please Tula, please.

- Oh all right, Groove.

Here we go.

(sprightly flute music)

- (laughs) Look at this!

(groaning sound)

- Oh!

- Oh!

- Oh dear!

Not quite the thing, is it?

- No!

It isn't round.

It isn't red.

And it's too big and floppy!

It's useless,

completely useless!

- Well, it might be

completely useless for

your display, Tula,

but it'll be very

useful in my collection

of big floppy things.

(echoing Hubba)

(mystical whirring)

- Don't get upset, Tula.

I've managed to

find a story that

the Tiddlypeeps sent in.

- Will it help us

to find out which

shop to go to

to find something like

a ponga-ping leaf?

- Do you know what?

I think it just might!

Here you go!

(mystical whirring)

(light music)

- [Narrator] Redcan

was a big, red lolly.

He lived in a sweet shop with

lots of other sweets.

Everyday, Redcan would push past

them all to get to the

front of the counter,

shouting, "Out of my way!

I need to be at the front,

then I'll be bought first."

- [Narrator] When he

got to the very front,

he would sit on them all.

And soon, he was fast asleep.

- (laughing)

- [Redcan] (snoring)

- [Narrator] The sweets

underneath Redcan

began to get fed up with this!

"This has got to stop,"

snapped Licorice Stick.

"I'm melting under here,"

wailed Chocolate Drop.

"Why should we put up with

being sat on," cried Mintball.

"I know!

Let's move him,"

shouted Coffee Fudge.

"The problem is,

we can't lift him.

He's far too heavy,"

said Coconut Lips.

The Gobstopper had a great idea!

"We could tickle him silly with

our sweetie wrappers," he cried.

(sprightly music)

So the sweets loosened

their wrappers

and started to wriggle

about underneath Redcan.

(laughs) "No, No, no

stop it, no don't."

The tickling soon

got so bad that

Redcan ran to the

back of the counter.

"You stay there Redcan."

"You're big enough to

be see at the back.

And it means that we don't

get squished," said

Licorice Stick.

The shop door opened,

and in came a little boy.

The little boy just

didn't know who to choose.

Then he shouted,

"I want that big,

red lolly at the back!"

- (laughing)

- [Narrator] So Redcan went off

happily with the little boy.

Life for the sweets

began to get a bit dull,

until another big,

red lolly arrived.

- [Iver] There's another one!

(mystical whirring)

- That's it!

That big, red lolly looks

just like a ponga-ping leaf!

- Right. Leave this one to me.

I'll go and find a sweet shop.

- Oh Groove, are you sure?

- You bet I'm sure, Tula.

A sweet shop sounds like

my kinda shop (laughs).

(guitar plays)

- And, as soon as your

arrangement is finished,

we can put it in the Hooby

Studio for Hoob News.

- Yes, but will it

ever be finished, Iver?

- Oh,

Of course it will.

- When?

♪ When ♪

♪ Oh when ♪

♪ When oh when oh when ♪

♪ When when when

oh when oh when ♪

♪ Oh when oh when oh when

oh when oh when oh when ♪

♪ Oh when oh when oh

when oh when oh when ♪

- Here's when (laughs)!

Take a look at this

big, red lolly (laughs).

- Hooby galooby!

It's perfect!

- Yeah.

It looks just the thing for--

- (clears throat) My

hooby flower arrangement?

Hmm?

- Oh yeah.

- Well done Groove!

(sprightly music)

- Ta-da!

(echoing Roma)

Oh, here comes Roma,

and I've already found just

what I was looking for.

(mystical whirring)

- Hoobledoop Hoobs!

- [Hoobs] Hoobledoop Roma!

- Now today, I have

something absolutely

splendid to show you.

- Oh but it's okay, Roma.

I think we've got the answer.

- Yes!

Groove went and got a lolly!

- [Roma] A lolly?

Well, that's very nice for him.

But take a look a this!

Isn't this the most

hoobacious thing

you've ever seen?

- [Tula] Yes.

- [Roma] I got it from

this place behind me.

It's called a hardware shop.

You should see what

they've got in there,

all sorts of things

made out of metal.

Hmmm, I suppose

that's why they call

it a hardware shop,

because everything in

it is very hard, ha!

(metal clangs)

- [Tula] Ooh! (laughs)

- Nails, hammers, screwdrivers,

metal bowls and buckets and

hundreds of pans!

Big pans, little

pans, pans for water,

pans for milk,

pans for eggs,

silver pans, black

pans, non-stick pans,

and most hoobacious of all

this fantaby hooby red pan!

Do you know Hoobs?

I think this pan is

my absolute favorite!

I'm off to have

a go with it now.

This is Roma Hoob,

outside a hardware shop

holding the pan of her dreams!

Hoobletoodledoo!

- [Hoobs] Hoobletoodledoo!

- Well, Roma's pan did look like

a pong-ping leaf, didn't it?

- It certainly did, Tula.

But we don't need a pan, do we?

- No, not now we've

got my hoobly,

groobly, big, red,

loll--(screams).

- [Iver] (groans)

- Where's my beautiful lolly?

- Uh, uh

- (screams) Groove!

- Well, I just took a

quick lick of the lolly,

and it was so delicious

that I carried on licking,

and licking, and licking,

and suddenly it was all gone.

- Groove!

How could you?

- Oh I'm really, really sorry.

- Hmph!

- Hmph!

- I'll go and get

another one right away.

- Hmph!

- What's the point?

You don't eat that too!

Oh what are we going to do now?

- We are going to send

Groove to a hardware shop.

- Yes, to get a pan like

the one that Roma had.

- Oh okay, okay, I'll

go to a hardware shop,

and I'll find her a red pan

just like the one Roma had.

So there's no need

to panic, all right?

It'll just be fine.

You'll see.

(sad music)

- Groove's really

getting the hang of

going shopping on the Peep

planet, isn't he Iver?

(upbeat music)

- I might try it myself one day.

♪ Let's do the

shopping on hoobnet ♪

♪ Hubba Hubba sends

us what we need ♪

♪- But when I needed a leaf ♪

♪ From the ponga-ping tree ♪

♪ Hubba Hubba shook is head ♪

♪ And he said to me ♪

♪- (speaking voice) Go and

find some Tiddlypeeps, ♪

and then you'll see where

the peeps go when they need

a spot of (sings) retail therapy

♪ Shops ♪

♪ Peep shops ♪

♪ You can shop shop shop

until you drop drop drop ♪

♪ Oh shops ♪

♪ Peep shops ♪

♪ Once you've

discovered shopping ♪

♪ Then it's very hard to stop ♪

♪- There are big

department stores ♪

♪ With six or seven floors ♪

♪- First floor menswear

stationary and hats ♪

♪- If you're looking for a

gift get back into the lift ♪

♪- Second floor for

shirts and skirts ♪

♪ And lamps and stamps ♪

♪ And bats ♪

♪ Oh shops ♪

♪ Peep shops ♪

♪ You can shop shop shop

until you drop drop drop ♪

♪ In shops ♪

♪- Shops Shops Shops ♪

♪ Peep Shops ♪

♪ Once you've

discovered shopping ♪

♪ Then it's very hard to stop ♪

♪- There are messy

shops neat shops ♪

♪ Cold shops and sweet shops ♪

♪- A hardware store might

be the place for me ♪

♪ Cause I need a frying pan ♪

♪ Like the one that Roma found ♪

♪- It's big ♪

♪- And it's flat ♪

♪- And it's red ♪

♪- And it's round ♪

♪ And it looks like a leaf ♪

♪ From a ponga-ping tree ♪

♪ Oh shops ♪

♪ Peep shops ♪

♪ You can shop shop shop

until you drop drop drop ♪

♪ Once you've

you Tula Hoob (laughs)!

- Oh!

It's beautiful!

- Yeah.

It's just like a

ponga-ping leaf.

(bright sprightly music)

- [Both] Hoob hoob hooray!

(metal clangs)

- Quite like a ponga-ping leaf,

but much, much heavier.

Oh hooby bother!

- Oh I'm sorry Tula.

Still, it'll dig a good hole.

- [Iver] Wait Groove.

(echoing hubba)

You can't go digging holes

until we've answered the

question for Hoob News.

- Hubba Hubba, we

can't find anything in

any Peep shop that's

like a pong-ping leaf!

- Well, I think you need to ask

some more Tiddlypeeps, Tula.

- Yes, I think we should.

We're running out of time.

- Yeah, I'll go and

ask some Tiddlypeeps.

Tula, will you

look after my pan?

- Oh yes, certainly.

- Tula, would you hold this?

- Oh, yes.

- Thank you.

Come on; I'll drive.

(rock music plays)

(laughing)

- What's a ponga-ping leaf?

- Well, it's sort of round

and red and sticky-up.

- Have you tried going

to the shops, Groove?

- Oh yes.

I've tried a hardware

shop, a plant shop,

and a sweet shop.

- Yeah.

- Yeah, the sweet shop was

a really good shop (laughs).

I got a hooby groovy

red lolly there.

It was perfect.

It looked just like

a ponga-ping leaf,

but I ate it.

Tula wasn't very pleased.

Anyway, which other kinds of

shops do you think I could try?

- There are lots

of different shops.

- Well, which kind

are your favorites?

- That's easy, toy

shops (chuckles)!

- Toy shops?

- Toy shops.

- Do you hear that Iver?

Tula?

Peeps have a shop just for toys!

- There are loads of

toys in a toy shop.

You're bound to find

something, Groove.

- Hooby groovy!

A toy shop it is then!

- [Girls] Hoobletoodledoo!

- Ha ha ha!

(rock music plays)

- I can't think what sort of toy

Groove will ever find that

looks like a ponga-ping leaf.

- Oh cheer up.

Tiddlypeeps have hoob loads

of toys to choose from.

Well, there must be one

that'll do he trick.

- [Groove] Tula, Iver,

look at this (laughs)!

(rock music plays)

(laughs) I found

it in a toy shop.

It's the right shape,

the right size,

the right color, and it's called

a ping-pong bat.

- A ping-pong bat.

- Yeah.

- Oh thank you, Groove.

Now let's see if this will

work like a ponga-ping leaf!

- Yeah, come on, come.

(bright sprightly music)

Oh please let it work.

Please let it work.

- Hoobally groobally!

It's perfect!

- It's time for Hoob News!

in the baker shop ♪

♪ Two hooby buns with

hooby goop on top ♪

♪- Along came Tootle

with a penny one day ♪

♪ She bought a hooby

bun and took it away ♪

Welcome to Hoob News,

the new show for

Hoobs everywhere!

I'm Iver.

- I'm Tula.

- And I'm Groove.

- And today we've been

asking the question--

- Where can we

get something that

looks like a ponga-ping leaf?

- [Iver] First, we

discovered that Peeps often

go to shops to get

things that they need.

And that there are lots

of different shops!

- There are even shops

where you can get plants.

- [Groove] I went to

one of those shops,

but the Peep leaf

I found was too

big and floppy for

Tula's display.

- Then, we saw a big,

red lolly in a story

that looked just like

a ponga-ping leaf.

So Groove went off to a

sweet shop to find one.

- [Iver] It looked

perfect in Tula's display.

- But not for long,

because, well I

accidentally ate it.

- [Iver] Roma had

found a red pan in a

hardware shop, which

also looked just like

a ponga-ping leaf.

- [Tula] It may have looked

like a ponga-ping leaf,

but it was much too heavy.

- [Iver] Then, the

Tiddlypeeps suggested

we look for something like a

pong-ping leaf in a toyshop!

- [Groove] And that's where

I found a ping-pong bat.

- Which is just like

a ponga-ping leaf

and looks hoobly groobly

in my flower arrangement.

Ta-Da!

- [Hubba Hubba] It

certainly does Tula.

You can call it your

pinga-ponga-ponga-ping

leaf (laughs).

- [All] (laugh)

- [Hubba Hubba] So it's

to Iver, Tula, Groove, and Roma

for giving Hoobs everywhere
