hey it looks like you've been having a ball we sure have stephen was helping us get ready for our baseball game later

this afternoon oh that sounds like fun i say i really like those uniforms

so what have you guys been doing we've been playing school and learning the letters of the alphabet i know lots of

letters now chip that's great maybe now you're ready to try learning the letters

in your name do you think so well i think you might give it a try you know how i learned the first letter of my

name how well i would just think of one of my favorite toys like this

carr and curtis both begin with c let's all try to find things that start with the first letter of our name okay

that'll be a fun way to help you learn the first letter of your name linda it's a great idea let's get started

both start with the letter h how about this starfish starfish and

steven both start with the letter s

and basket and barney start with b

and here's a leaf leaf and

linda start with l good job you're right and see you've already learned the first

i know something else we can do with letters what's that well we can make some letters and then have barney guess

which letters we've made oh i'm a good guesser sounds like fun okay here's what we do

that's an e and when you put those letters together

flying so high with its tail in the breeze up in the air with the greatest

of ease flipping and dipping with colors of right i love to fly my kites

i find out what i want to know and then i read some more

learning the letters of the alphabet who linda learned the letters in her name i liked guessing the letters that curtis

and steven made and when you put letters together they can make all kinds of words

learning the letters of the alphabet can really put a smile on your face and learning the letters is the first step

in learning to read or just love to read and remember i love you
