- [Phil] Previously on "The Amazing Race."

[dramatic music]

Six teams race from Zanzibar off the coast of Tanzania,

to Warsaw, Poland.

Tempers flared between Eric and Danielle.

- [Eric] We go somewhere and you're like--

- It's annoying now. - No, you don't want

to get into that. - Stop. Just grow up.

That's all I ask. Grow up.

- Obviously, I can do something besides this.

- [Phil] Then, along with Joe and Bill,

they missed their flight. - Let us on--

- Come on.

You gotta be kidding me. - the plane.

- Hey, pilot, pilot! - We should be about

three days behind the other teams now.

- I wanna go on a flight to home.

I don't wanna be here anymore.

- [Phil] Once in Warsaw,

Dustin and Kandice hit their stride.

- Sounds better, right? - Sounds better.

- Yes, it sounded good. - And arrived first

at the pit stop.

You are team number one. [Dustin and Kandice cheer]

- Yes!

- [Mirna] They're gonna think we're crazy on the streets.

- [Phil] Charla and Mirna struggled with a special delivery.

- Where are we gonna go? - Does anyone speak English?

- I don't know what else to do.

- [Phil] Then, Dustin and Kandice,

Oswald and Danny, and Uchenna and Joyce set out

on the next leg. - Cool.

- [Phil] While Eric and Danielle and the Guidos battle

to avoid last place. - Guidos are upon us.

- Let's go, let's go. - Let's go fast.

- Yeah, go, go, go, go, go.

Okay, go, go. [dramatic music]

- Yeah, come on, [mumbles].

Like, run, just run though, run, run, run, run, run.

- Coming, got to b*at the old ladies.

- [Phil] In the end, Joe and Bill were last.

This is a-- - Oh, great.

- [Phil] But were spared elimination.

You need to arrive at the pit stop first otherwise

you're gonna incur a -minute penalty.

Now, six teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

[dramatic music continues]

[dramatic music continues]

[dramatic music continues]

[soft music]

This is Warsaw, Poland, once notoriously

a center of w*r and human strife.

It has managed to rise from the ashes

to become of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

And in the heart of the city, Aazienki Park.

Once a royal compound, this picturesque park

was the seventh pit stop in a race around the world.

- Travel to the concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

There are two charter buses

with two different departure times.

First come, first served. Let's go.

It's gonna be a really emotional time

at the concentration camp. [dramatic music]

- We found tickets to a charter group,

charter group one. - Sweet.

- I know. [dramatic music]

Craving ...

- Charter bus. - Oh.

- The first bus is gone, so we're in bus two.

- [Charla] Oh, we're in that last bus?

- It leaves at : p.m.

We're leaving with the second charter bus,

which puts us tied for last place.

It's very frustrating.

Hopefully, we'll catch up with everybody soon.

[dramatic music]

- We're headed back to catch the charter bus

to go the Auschwitz camp.

I know it's gonna be really, you know, affect us

to see what's gone on there. [dramatic music]

- Autobus Express. I've got the tickets.

[Dustin and Kandice giggle] [bus engine rumbles]

- Yay! - We have a four-hour lead

on the other bus. [dramatic music]

- Okay. - All right, let's go.

Danielle's not as focused, I think, on the race

as she could be.

She's not used to the stress.

The last race with her and Dani,

I mean, they just screwed around.

But I'm a very intense person when it comes

to this stuff.

Charter group two.

We leave at :. Oh, crap.

- [Dani] So let's go get my coffee first

and then we'll come back.

- [Eric] We're not spending any more money, Danielle.

And I don't treat her like a girlfriend in this case.

I treat her as my partner.

- I have to feel guilty about getting

a cup of coffee.

That's sick. - I just don't

wanna spend money that we don't have.

We have a budget.

During the race, we have limited funds.

She's never been this far in the race.

I know how it is.

Two dollars makes a difference.

- No, we're down two dollars?

I will beg-- - I said I don't wanna

talk about it. - for two dollars

in the street, okay?

Don't worry about it. - Just shut up, please.

Just be quiet.

I would shut up if I wasn't being ignored

every single day.

You ignore me. It's like ridiculous at this point.

[dramatic music]

It's getting to a point where it's like

if I have to keep arguing over stupid little things

it's definitely hurt us.

You make this whole situation more miserable

than it has to be.

That's what you do. - That's fine.

- You make it so unenjoyable. - Yeah, it's all me.

- Just in a mood about a cup of coffee.

- Just shut up. - Grow up.

- Just shut up. - I have shut up.

I don't talk to you. We don't [censored] talk.

- Don't worry, you won't last much longer.

[dramatic music]

- We're heading to Auschwitz and I think

it's gonna be a really hard balance.

You wanna absorb it, but you don't wanna go in so far

that you can't come back because it is so heavy and so deep.

- It's difficult to go to these places,

but going here and people seeing it

puts things in perspective and the fact that we need

to respect each other for our similarities

and our differences is incredibly important.

[dramatic music]

- $. - Yes, we did get those.

- Okay. - Joe and I have

to come in first because we're marked for elimination

or we have a -minute penalty.

- That's Eric and Dani. - Mm-hmm.

- We would love to just eliminate our nearest competition,

which at this time seems to be Dani and Eric.

- That's it right there.

Once at the monument find

the Autobus Express ticket dispenser.

- It seems for Dani and Eric there's maybe

not the knowledge, the brainpower that needs to be there,

so we shouldn't try to do a foot race,

we should try to b*at them with brain power.

Excuse me, do you know where

this Autobus Express ticket dispenser is?

It's gotta be someplace close. - Oh God.

- Do you know where a ticket dispenser is, a machine?

- It should be right here. - Sorry, I don't know.

- Was there something up here? - Here it is.

We walked by it three times. - Son of a bitch.

- So I suppose this is the bus?

[dramatic music]

- We're number one on the second bus.

- Ah, this is so much fun. [soft music]

- Hello. - Hello.

[dramatic music]

Hello, girls. I haven't seen you in days.

- [Mirna] Yeah, long time no see.

- We're heading to Auschwitz and it will be very upsetting

to hear about these things and to see them,

but you all have to face it.

Because if we can't face it

then we can't learn from our past.

[soft music]

- This is eerie. - This is very eerie.

[dramatic music]

- Wanna go that way? [soft music]

It's over there, guys. [soft music]

- This is it. - Grab one.

- Oh, man.

During the reign of Adolf h*tler,

over one million people were exterminated at Auschwitz.

- More than at any other concentration camp.

It remains standing as a tribute to the people

who perished, okay, within its walls

and to the immense ultimate triumph over evil.

- The traditional memorial camp from the table.

Proceed to the--

- [Both] Railroad tracks and light it.

[soft music]

- Just being there on those tracks,

like, your imagination just rolls

and you can just see the trains coming in

and stopping and people being unloaded like cattle

'cause they're just pulled from each other

and that's the last time a lot of 'em saw each other.

- [Uchenna] What came to mind was all

the books that never got written,

all the ideas that were never tried,

all the relationships that never got to grow.

I mean, generations were m*rder*d.

It's actually a good thing that they have not destroyed

or taken down Auschwitz.

You can't forget that.

God forbid that should ever happen again.

[soft music]

- [Joyce] There's taxis over here.

Thank you. - Thank you.

- Moments like this makes you think about things

that are far more important. - Yeah, respect for humankind.

- It was incredibly emotional.

I grew up in a communist county where

we were completely deprived of any freedom.

Kind of like reminds you of what I could have

and I'll be living for the rest of my life

and it makes me very grateful to be out of there

where I don't have to worry about expressing

who I am as a person.

And it's just sad. - It's all right.

[dramatic music]

- [Phil] Teams must travel now by taxi

more than miles to Krakow and find this building.

Juliusz SBowacki Theatre.

It's here that teams will find their next clue.

[air whooshes] [dramatic music]

- Is it right here? - Yeah, looks it.

- That's the theater? - Yes.

- We're here. - Let's go.

- Let's get in it. - It says, "Search the area."

[dramatic music]

- Is it here? - Let's go in.

He's asking someone.

We have to go quickly. - I don't think he knows.

- Should we get in with this guy?

- Do you wanna switch? - Yeah. Let's get out.

It's called directing your luck.

You know this? - Yes.

- That was a bad situation.

- Hopefully, we're not vying for last.

- Oh, there it is. - Intersection.

[dramatic music]

- This is an Intersection where each team

must join forces with another team then perform tasks

and make all decisions together until further notice.

- We're working together. - Yay!

- All right. - Fast Forward.

You wanna do it? - Okay.

- [Phil] In this Fast Forward,

the newly joined teams make their way a quarter of a mile

to Market Square where they'll climb both of these towers.

The fire guard tower of St. Mary's Church

and the Town Hall Tower.

As they climb, they must count the stairs

and then calculate the total number of steps

in both towers.

Once they have this number, teams must present it

to the guard.

If they have calculated the correct answer,

the guard will hand them the Fast Forward award.

- All right, let's do it. - Let's do it.

- Let's go. - The girls are gonna

have to wait until-- - Until somebody--

- for one of those other teams to arrive.

- That's-- - That is, oh--

- Sucks. - This is not an intersection.

- Oh, they have to sit there

and wait. - They have to wait

for the next team to get here. - Ooh.

[dramatic music]

- That's it. - It's here.

- Okay. - I don't see

the other teams here. - We've got

it right up there. - Oh my gosh,

it's the intersection. - Yes.

- Oh, no. - sh**t.

- It's not good for us. - This totally sticks.

- And now we're in the back row

because we have to wait for them. Oh, dang.

[dramatic music]

- You've reached the Intersection.

You must choose one other team to partner with

and work with together.

- This totally stinks. - And now we're

in the back row because we have to wait for them.

- We're chosen to go for the Fast Forward.

And then, we're working with Joyce and Uchenna.

- We have to go to? - Two towers.

And we have to count the steps for each tower

and then add them up. - Okay, right here.

[group chattering]

- Okay. - You wait?

- Yeah, I'll stop. - Okay.

- The two towers you must climb and count steps

are fire guard tower of St. Mary's Church

and the Town Hall Tower. - Let's do 'em together.

- Because, you know what, those guys are gonna

have to wait for hours. - Exactly.

- That sucks. - Why are we rushing?

- I can't imagine we'll be here for a another few hours.

- You know how stoked those two teams are?

[dramatic music]

- Whoa! - Now that's a tower!

- [Joyce] I'm so glad we glad

we get to do it-- - Me too.

- [Joyce] with you guys.

I know! - This is awesome.

- This is cool.

[dramatic music]

- [Oswald] There's the flag, let's go.

- Okay. - , .

- [Joyce] Honey, count to yourself, please.

- This is kind of a theme for us being the third team

to show up for an intersection having to wait,

but this is gonna be a longer wait, unfortunately.

- This is a long wait. [dramatic music]

- When I got to the landing, I hit .

- Did you come with ? - Yeah, yeah. You get?

- on the way down.

- Okay, so we're gonna say .

- [Uchenna] Now off to St. Mary's.

This will sort of raise the spirits a little bit

because our car was silent the whole way.

- Oh, yours and mine. - Damien and Oswald

did not miss the growth that went on today

when was in Auschwitz.

We did experience something together that

you just can't replace.

Let's see if we can get into the church.

- It says "entrance." - This is it.

Whoa, look at those stairs!

Let's see how far up we gotta go.

- Do you think that they took the Fast Forward?

- I'm sure they did. It's just adding numbers.

[dramatic music]

- Oh, you scared me. - Once we reached the top

of St. Mary's Church-- - We had to add

the total number of steps. - Oh, boy.

- What'd you get? - We all arrived

at the same number at the Town Hall Tower, steps.

And the second tower, three of us had different numbers.

- [Uchenna] All right, you wanna leave this up to me?

I felt confidence in my number.

- You and I ... - .

- [Uchenna] And the only number that exactly mine was Ozzie.

- [Joyce] Let's try that one.

[dramatic music] [group cheers]

- Yes! - Good job.

- Oh my goodness. - And there is your clue.

- All right. - Congratulations.

Drive yourselves to the next pit stop.

[Joyce cheers]

- [Phil] Having won the Fast Forward, Uchenna and Joyce

and Oswald and Danny may now skip all tasks

and go directly to Pieskowa SkaBa Castle,

the pit stop of this leg of the race.

- Whoo, hoo-hoo, hoo. - We'll find marked cars

behind St. Mary's Church. - Are these it?

- Yeah. - Yeah, there's a flag.

- Just get in, hon. - I follow you.

- Yeah. - And they follow me.

- Yeah, okay. - Okay, are they behind me?

We're ready to go. Here we go.

[soft music]

- In the reign of Adolf h*tler, over one million people

were exterminated at Auschwitz.

I want you to observe a moment of silence.

The guy will have your next clue.

- Oh, man. - Oh, my gosh.

[dramatic music] [group chattering]

- [Bill] Both Joe and I have seen images in photographs

and movies, but there's nothing that can describe

the silence and emotion, raw, gut-wrenching emotion

that you feel when you step out into that area.

I mean, I felt the weight of all those souls.

It's just unthinkable what those people had to go through.

[soft music]

- [Eric] For Danielle and to go to Auschwitz

kind of puts things in perspective a little bit.

All the dumb little fights that we had over nothing.

Just little bickering things that turn into nonsense,

it's stuff that doesn't even matter.

- [Charla] I can't imagine what people must've experienced

in this horrible place.

- Our own ancestry, Armenians, went through genocide.

Four million Armenians were massacred

at the hands of the Turks.

Actually, our great-grandfather's whole family was k*lled.

It just is so personal to us. - There's taxis right here.

- Krakow, please go. - Such a terrible tragedy.

- It's really kind of overwhelming when

you think about it how many people, like ones that are in,

they had no control over what was gonna happen.

Makes you grateful for what you have.

- What really affected me is that Joe and I

are born in a time where we can be ourselves.

There were people like Joe and I that weren't allowed

to express themselves are we are now.

It's unbelievable how one man can treat another man

in just horrible ways.

I mean, it's just unbelievable that people could turn

their head and allow that to happen.

[dramatic music]

- I can't keep my mind off of these concentration camp.

Still has me kind of freaked.

Man has been cruel to each other forever.

One of these days we're gonna get it.

Hopefully, we get it before we don't all destroy each other.

- It's definitely gonna happen one day.

[soft music]

- The roads are so dark and it's so foggy

you can't even see where you're going.

- It's getting really foggy. - I know.

- And I'm not sure who's behind us and who's ahead of us.

The Guidos are marked for elimination,

so we have to make sure they don't b*at us

by half an hour. - We're just gonna

do our best. - We'll see what lies ahead.

- And see how we do. [dramatic music]

- This is it. - See?

- Yeah, this is it. - Park the cars here

and go on foot. [dramatic music]

- [Danny] And we're here, guys.

[dramatic music]

- [Oswald] It's so awesome to have done this together.

- Oh. - Oh my goodness.

[dramatic music]

- [All] One, two, three.

- Welcome to Krakow, Poland. - Thank you.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Oswald and Danny, Uchenna and Joyce,

you are team number one. [group cheers]

So, guys, I have one prize to give away.

I'm going to leave it up to you as to who's gonna get it.

- We'll give it up to them. - We'll give it up to them.

- Aww. - It's yours.

- Guys, I've got some news because the winners

of this leg of the race you have won a trip for two

from Travelocity to the exclusive Jade Mountain Resort

on the pristine island of St. Lucia.

- Wow. - Wow.

- Your lavish room has

a private infinity-edge pool overlooking the sea

and the famous Piton Mountains.

You'll experience a day of sport fishing,

plus a Sunset Catamaran sail around the coast.

- Thank you. - And thank you, guys.

- Our pleasure. - You guys are so generous.

- We won't be giving away a million dollars though.

- Oh, okay. [dramatic music]

- I can't believe this happened to us.

We had hours to think about what team

we would want the most to work with.

I think the Guidos are number one,

Danielle and Eric are number two,

Charla and Mirna are number three.

- Go, go, move, move, move. - He's going.

[dramatic music]

- Let's go fast, Lester. [dramatic music]

- My heart is pounding so hard.

- My heart is pounding. [dramatic music]

- He's going as fast as he can.

[dramatic music]

- This looks like a taxi. - If it is, get ready.

[dramatic music]

sh**t. Dang it. - We don't want Charla

and Mirna.

- I hope they see somebody else.

We're kind of targeted. - Come on, guys,

where are you? [car engine revs]

- I mean, we could just say, "Hey, Charla and Mirna,

over here," and get this show on the road.

All right, let's do it.

Charla and Mirna!

It's a intersection. You guys wanna work together?

- Okay. - Okay, let's go.

- It's a Detour. - In this Detour,

teams have to choose between two icon polish foods.

The choice, Eat It Up or Roll It Out.

In Eat It Up, the newly joined teams make their way

one and a half miles to this old market.

Once here, each team member, must use traditional methods

to make one three-inch link of Polish kielbasa sausage.

After finishing, the teams will be served

eight feet of cooked kielbasa.

Once each person has eaten two feet of sausage,

they'll receive their next clue.

In Roll It Out, the newly joined teams make their way

one and a half miles to Krakow's Old Jewish Quarter

and find J. Mazurek Bakery.

Once here, teams must use traditional methods

to properly roll out bagels.

When finished, they'll make their way on foot

one-quarter of a mile to Klezmer-Hois

with a delivery of fresh bagels for the head waiter

who will hand them their next clue.

- We think sausage will quick because we can all eat it.

- Well, we didn't just-- - Can you eat it, Mirna?

- I'm not a big eater. - What do you guys wanna do?

Just decide and let's do it.

- We kind of thought the sausage

if you guys can do it. - Okay, let's do the sausage.

- Let's do it. - Let's do sausage.

- Sausage! - Ew!

- In a big hurry. Quickly, quickly.

- Good, okay, good, good. - Okay, follow them.

[dramatic music]

- Is this the theater? - Yes, that's [indistinct].

- Just pull up to there. - Okay, wait for us.

Wait right here.

- It's an Intersection. [dramatic music]

- Warning you're intersected.

Hey, guys, do you wanna partner up?

We're both here. - Okay.

- Detour, Eat It Up or Roll It Out.

- I say eat the kielbasa. - You have to eat inches.

- How big is inches?

It's big, no? - Two feet.

- is two feet long.

It's a sausage about that long.

- If she can't do it, that's gonna hurt us

because we're intersected so--

- Exactly. - I think I might hurt us

if we eat that. - Okay, let's do

the bagels then. - Okay.

- Near the Old Jewish Quarter. - Okay.

[dramatic music]

- Oh, we got to the Intersection with the Guidos.

We had to join with them because they were

the only other team there.

Waited for just a half an hour or so.

For the case we're in right now it's not bad

since we know where they are. - We are in a time crunch.

We've got to get down. - Oh, okay.

[upbeat music]

- [Charla] Oh, it's right there.

This one. Here it is.

They're there. - They're getting out.

- Okay, let's go out. - Okay.

- [Mirna] Here we go, we can do this.

At least I'm hungry. - I don't even like sausage.

- [Charla] You and me both.

- Hello? [upbeat music]

- That must be the demo. - This is real fun, Kandice.

- All right. - Let me tell you,

after the naked mannequin

and now this sausage. [gong crashes]

- [Kandice] Got to make one three-inch one each.

- [Dustin] Three-inch? That's not much.

[group laughs] [dramatic music]

- We are now in the Old Jewish Quarter

and we're now looking for Mazurek Bakery.

[driver speaks in foreign language]

- Okay, so let's look around. [dramatic music]

- Did they say where it is? - No, we lost our cab driver.

- The drivers weren't from Krakow,

they were from apparently the Auschwitz area

and they didn't really know the area very well

we were headed to.

This sucks. - All right.

Let me just load the ham in. - Yum.

- Okay, here we go.

Crank it up. - Female bonding

over sausages.

- Go inside and ask someone. - Let us go inside

and see where the heck we are. - I think we have

to do one more. - Hopefully, we can hang on

to this lead and put the sausage away.

- Again, push, push it down, yeah.

- I think he knows. He's coming out.

- Okay, did you find it? - No, no. No.

- Why doesn't nobody know? - I have no idea

where anybody else is. - Where the hell

is this stupid place? [dramatic music]

Where the hell is this place?

- [Joe] Maybe we'll switch.

We can do the other detour. - If she thinks she can eat it

we can eat it. - Either one I'll go

to right now. - Excuse me?

Do you speak English?

We're looking for a sausage making factory

called [foreign language]. - It's somewhere there.

- Can you take us there? - Yes.

- Sure. - Okay, who wants

to come with us. [group laughs]

- [Mirna] Got four as long as they're all okay.

- Yeah? Okay? - Good, okay.

- Cool. - I'm gonna wash my hands.

- All right, let's wash our hands, guys,

and we're eating.

- Do you mind if we just say a quick prayer before our meal?

- Yeah, let's pray, let's do it.

- Okay, Lord, help us to be able to get the sausage down.

I hope it tastes great.

In your name we pray, amen. - [Group] Amen.

- Okay, dig in. - It's so much bigger

than I ever thought. - Oh, it's really good.

[Mirna laughs]

- This building. - Thank you.

- Thank you. - Why does mine look

so much thicker than everybody else's?

- Why does it look like the more you eat

the more it grows? - Don't look at it, do it!

- You guys count your blessings,

the other teams aren't here.

That would be pressure.

- [Eric] [foreign language]

Right here. - Oh, god, help me.

- [Eric] Hey, guys, how's the sausage?

- Tastes like poop. - Babe, can you eat that.

- It's a lot. - Let's do it. Come on.

- Okay, pressure's on, you guys.

- Time to start eating. [dramatic music]

- Put it on and just get it really long like he did

and just keep going and squeezing 'em off.

- I feel kind of nervous-- - But put a lot on.

- because it looks like

a big, huge sausage. - Yes.

[whimsical music]

- Go down, go down.

- [Mirna] Oh my God, you're eating so fast.

Why are you eating so slow? - I don't know.

Maybe something's wrong with me.

[soft music]

- We chose the wrong task.

[Mirna burps]

- Oh, sorry. [dramatic music]

- Okay, that's good. - That's the fourth one.

- [Danielle] Here's our amazing sausage.

Here we come. [dramatic music]

- Okay. - Good. All right.

Just start eating. - Okay.

- We just have to destroy this.

- Actually, it tastes good.

- [Joe] Mm-hmm. It is.

It's a lot better than my mother's.

- The faster you eat, faster you're done.

- [Danielle] Don't start with me right now.

I'm eating it and I'm enjoying it.

- I'm just telling you.

[whimsical music]

- You're doing awesome. Almost there.

- Mine isn't shrinking.

- Charla, pick up the pace. - I'm trying.

- Concentrate. - I am.

- I think they're funny the way they interact,

the way they kind of bark at each other.

- What the hell are you doing? - Nothing.

- Just eat the [mumbles]. - It's not that easy.

So much damn food. [soft music]

- You're doing good. - I'm doing all right.

- You're doing real good. [dramatic music]

- [Bill] Yours hasn't even gone down yet.

- [Joe] I've eaten a lot of it too.

- [Joe] We gotta concentrate on Eric here.

- [Joe] We came here worried about Dani.

Now I'm more worried about Eric.

Bill and I are the ones with the -minute penalty,

so we gotta keep this process moving.

Pretty much, we're at their mercy.

- [Eric] I'm eating. I haven't stopped.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

- I'm done. - You're awesome.

- Waiter?

Very good, thank you. - You win the award.

- One of the Guidos is done. - Hey, Charla, Charla,

just focus. - She can't concentrate.

That's the problem.

- Don't want to be eliminated

after we did this. - I'm trying my best.

[dramatic music]

- All right, so I'm done.

Waiter? Get this thing out of my face.

Thank you. - You're welcome.

- I wish I could say the same. [dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

- Take it away. [Dustin retching]

- Ladies and gentlemen, Miss California.

[group laughs]

Thank you. [dramatic music]

- [Eric] We're almost done, guys.

[dramatic music]

- [Kandice] Keep it going, girls.

[dramatic music]

- Okay, good, good. - Is she all finished?

- Good job, Mirna. - Let's get the hell

out of here. - Charla, put your head back

and just swallow it straight down

- I'm just going to just throw up.

I'm just going to put

the Kn*fe like this. - Yes.

- I don't know what to do more.

[Charla retches]

- I can't even listen to that.

- I don't know how people do this.

[Charla retches]

- Oh my God. [Charla burps]

[whimsical music]

- You're almost done.

- Oh my God. - You're awesome.

- Done. [upbeat music]

- Bill finished.

- Come on Charla, we have a lot of other stuff to do.

Come on.

- I wanna be him right now. - Waiter?

[dramatic music]

- I don't know what he hell to do.

- Come on, just two more pieces. The sausage [indistinct].

- Come on, take the next bite. - She's almost done.

- [Mirna] Push it down a little at a time.

- She's got a lot to swallow.

You're gonna b*at her.

Good, good, good, good. [dramatic music]

You got it now, you got it now.

- Yup, just a little at a time. Good.

- She took some out of her mouth. Keep eating.

Get it in your mouth. - I know.

- Very good, Dani. Use some water, use some water.

- Please, God, take it down. - Good, good. Just focus.

[dramatic music]

- He's done. Just swallow.

Thank you.

[both chattering]

- Drive yourselves to the town of Skala.

- [Phil] The newly separated teams must now

make their way to this nearby parking lot

and choose a marked car to drive themselves

more than miles to the Skala.

Once there, they must find the Pieskowa SkaBa Castle

where they'll receive their next clue.

- [Joe] Pick it up a little bit.

- [Bill] We have a -minute time penalty.

- [Joe] We're going to Skala.

- You know Skala? - Skala?

- Is she done? Thank you. - Good job, you guys.

Good job.

- [Both] Teams no longer join.

- Search for your next clue. Okay, come on.

Okay, we have to go to the parking lot

right now. - Skala?

- Do we drive ourselves? - We have to drive ourselves?

- [Mirna] Let's just go around the corner

and we'll run and find it.

- [Charla] Mirna, they followed the bus!

- Okay, come on, Charla. - Drive yourselves, yeah.

- There's cars here? - Yes, and maybe they're

right over here.

- Everyone went this way. - I feel sick.

[dramatic music]

- This must be it right here. Parking with a P.

- We need to go to Skala. - You know what we can do

is follow a taxi. - Ask this guy.

- We will drive

and we'll follow you. - Mm-hmm.

- [Kandice] Okay. As quickly as possible.

- [Dustin] I think we are the first team out.

Everybody was walking real slow

to their cars. - I know.

- [Mirna] I'm gonna vomit and I'm supposed to drive a car?

Come on, Charla, we don't have all night.

- I'm gonna die, I feel like.

I don't feel good at all. [dramatic music]

- Over here, I think. - Oh.

- [Joe] That must be Mirna trying to start a car.

- [Mirna] There's a brake on.

- What? - This is the brake.

Can you push it down? - Push it down where?

- Take this one here.

I like this one. - Car's over there.

- [Bill] Go.

- I can't get it down. - Wait, wait.

Wait, Joe. - Get in.

- Wait. - Okay, we're ahead

of Dani and Eric. [dramatic music]

- Did they go out this way? - Yeah.

[dramatic music]

- Okay, I don't know what you have to press,

but that's the brake.

I can't do it.

Mr. Taxi, come, come! Which one is the brake?

That's the brake I showed you.

Just tell him to turn it off. - There. He put it down.

- Slowly. - Okay, slowly is

the car's gonna stop.

Don't tell me how to drive anymore. Sick of it.

- Oh, what a day. What a day.

- I'm glad we're following someone.

- Me too. [dramatic music]

- [Bill] But we need to find a gas station or something

just so we can buy a map.

- How do they find this place?

- I don't know if there's anything up here.

- Go, go, go! What they waiting for?

They don't know where to go. - Give me the clue.

Pieskowa SkaBa Castle. Go, I follow.

Not both of them. [horn beeps]

One. Only one taxi.

Why is he coming?

I don't know the [censored] he's doing.

We're probably in last position as usual.

- I think we left first.

We're doing it, girl.

We're getting through. - Yeah.

- Today, has not been an easy one [chuckles].

- Hello.

- You have Polish maps, road map?

- Excuse me, Skala? - Skala.

- I don't know. - Ooh, they stopped.

I don't know why they even stopped on us.

- Oh, they don't know where they're going.

- I need one taxi, please.

I'm in a hurry, my friend.

We don't have to play games here.

- Pieskowa SkaBa? - Yes.

- Yes, Pieskowa SkaBa. - It's just north of here.

- [Bill] Thank you very much,

appreciate it. - Good.

Now we know we're not lost.

- We follow you? - Thank God.

- Please, let me take the one who knows.

Please. - , .

- I don't have $.

You can take me? - No, sorry.

- This is absolutely essential that we get here

more than minutes from the other teams.

The one thing that we know

is Mirna can't drive worth a damn.

- Okay, come. We don't have $ to give anybody.

You think I'm made of money?

I'm a young girl. I don't have $.

You think I'm a millionaire? - Bye-bye.

- Listen. [dramatic music]

Have some little bit of sympathy as a human being!

We're here at : in the morning.

You can show me, my friend.

Just show me, please, my friend. I'm begging you.

[dramatic music]

We are here at : in the morning.

You can show me, my friend.

I'm crying and he's laughing.

Okay, , , four zero dollar. dollar, dollar.

? dollar.

[driver speaks foreign language]

- Okay, he's gonna show you.

- God, help me get out of this country.

[dramatic music]

- There's a sign. It's says Pieskowa SkaBa.

- Yeah, this is right. - Keep your eyes peeled, babe.

- Here comes a town.

Pieskowa. Oh, that's good.

We're about halfway.

- We got a -minute penalty.

So if it boils down into a car race,

I think we can do as well as anybody.

Better than most. - Yeah, we have a good chance.

Because we're pretty good with a map and navigating.

[dramatic music]

- You gotta be kidding me.

Does he not want to take us all the way there?

[driver speaks foreign language]

- Okay. - Red is Pieskowa.

- Okay, thank you. - Okay, bye.

- And not one sign, one human being.

It will be a miracle if he knows where's he's going.

Ooh, car stopped.

Skala. Give me the clue.

Can you give me the clue, Charla?

I'm doing everything.

Can you at least hold onto the clue?

[dramatic music]

[driver speaks foreign language]

- Yeah, [foreign language].

[Charla speaks foreign language]

- Shortcut. We need shortcut way.

What are you doing in the backseat?

You're not looking at the map.

You're not holding the clue.

What are you doing, Charla?

What are you doing? - I'm doing nothing.

- [Mirna] I don't understand.

Am I supposed to do everything?

- No. You're just supposed to yell at me.

- [Mirna] Am I supposed to drive, do all the roadblocks--

- All right, you're doing everything.

You're right. You're doing everything.

You're absolutely right. - Just hold the clue

and please don't lose the clue.

- You're right. - Please, I'm begging of you.

- Can you yell a little more on me?

Is is not enough? [dramatic music]

- There was a sign that said, "Pieskowa SkaBa this way."

- Okay. - Keep going.

[dramatic music]

- Here's Skala. - We're here?

- [Bill] Right here, it's Skala.

Now we have to search the castle grounds

for our next clue. [dramatic music]

- Skala. - So we're entering it, right?

- Yeah. Hopefully, if we leave Skala

we'll know [indistinct].

[dramatic music].

- Okay, here's a red arrow. - Thank you.

- Okay. - Okay, have a good night.

There's the clue box.

Okay, all right. - What?

- Who wants to be a knight in shining armor?

- A roadblock is a task that only one person may perform.

In this roadblock, that person will experience firsthand

what it felt like to be a Medieval knight.

In this roadblock, that person must don

a full suit of authentic Medieval armor

then lead one of these horses half a mile through

the forest to these castle gates.

Once at the castle, they'll deliver their horse

to a stable boy, enter the courtyard,

and search for the pit stop.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- I'll do it. - You wanna do it?

- Yup. - Hi.

Oh, this is cool. - Go, let's go quickly.

Quickly. - I thought my heels

at home were pointy.

- Okay, we're leaving Skala. - I know, so ...

'Cause it said in the town of Skala,

so stop, stop before we go too far.

Yeah, make a U-turn here. [dramatic music]

- None of those signs said it back there, right?

- [Eric] Huh? I don't know. [dramatic music]

- [Mirna] Oh my God, where is he going?

I don't know what the hell road he's taking.

I hope this is the shortcut. [dramatic music]

- [Eric] Which one's to Skala?

We just missed it. That's all.

- [Bill] Oh, there it is. Yeah, right there, see it?

- [Joe] Yes, Skala, to the right it looks like.

- Oh, it's heavy. - Good job.

[dramatic music]

- [Charla] This looks like the castle.

All right. [dramatic music]

There are people here already. - Do you hear a car?

- Not yet. - I keep hearing random cars.

- Do you want me to do it or not?

This is a critical moment.

We might lose today. - No, I'll just do--

- [Charla] We might lose today.

Do you want me to do this? - No, I have to get

on the horse.

- I feel like I'm in a tin bucket right now.

- Then we have to lead a horse through the forest

to the castle gates. - Come on.

I'm your little knight in shining armor.

- [Charla] Could we put some more heavy stuff on me?

How am I gonna hold the horse's thing?

- Oh my God. - You're doing a great job.

Horse is gonna be a little scared, but it's okay.

- It's perfect. This is a nightmare.

[dramatic music]

Oh my God. - The horse is gonna

go faster than me.

How do you stop the horse?

The horse could trample over me.

God help us Oh, God.

- [Eric] I think we got a castle coming up.

- I think this Dani and Eric in front of us.

- [Joe] There's something up there.

There's a castle up on the hill. That's it.

- [Kandice] Dustin, you're doing perfect.

- [Dustin] Thanks, this is heavy.

- Your armor's heavy? - Yeah, it's hard to hold

my arm up. - I know it's hard.

Just walk a straight line or straight.

Just walk! Don't be scared, walk!

If you go in circles, the horse will go in circles.

Oh, this is taking so long. [dramatic music]

- You do it. - Okay, I'll do it.

- Knight in shining armor, that's you.

- Last team may be eliminated. - Come on, come on.

- Come on, Dan. - Oh my God.

Other teams just came.

I finished.

- [Mirna] Just walk straight, straight.

That's not a straight line, Charla.

- Charla and Mirna are here. - Charla is wearing

the suit of armor [laughs]

- [Joe] She's like a dressed-up rat.

- [Charla] Why is it keep going in circles?

- [Mirna] Charla, because you need to guide it.

It doesn't know what to do, it's confused.

Oh my God, this is like a nightmare.

- Come on, buddy.

Stop, get in the stable, boy.

The pit stop's right here. - Okay.

- Dustin and Kandice, you are team number three.

- Aww. - Good job.

Good job, girl. - Awesome.

- Yeah. - It's good.

- [Mirna] Come on, please. Charla, come on.

Charla, please. Please do it.

Charla, the Guidos are coming. - Talk to him like Guido.

- [Danielle] Go ahead of it, Eric.

You're too close to it, Eric. - Whoa.

- Come on, pull him. - Okay.

- [Mirna] Charla, you need to navigate this horse, please.

- [Charla] Come on, horsey.

- [Mirna] Do you want the other teams to pass us

while we just stand here? - Good boy.

[dramatic music]

- Go in front of it. - Whoa.

- [Danielle] You have to pull it like if if it's a dog.

- [Mirna] Please don't k*ll me.

Please, let's just get to the gate.

- Come on, Charla. Straight line.

Straight line. [Charla screams]

Don't let him go. Oh. [dramatic music]

- This armor hurts. - I know. I know.

Hold on, hold on. I got it for you.

Just stay there. Just stay there.

Things are hard in life sometimes.

- [Charla] Please, please don't k*ll me, horse.

[dramatic music]

- [Mirna] Charla, please.

- [Eric] Enter the gate, give the horse to the stable boy.

- Whoa. - Okay, okay, okay, okay--

- Whoa, Nellie. - Please keep walking.

Push him. Make him come, Charla.

You're in control.

Push it. - Okay.

- [Mirna] We don't have time for it to eat dinner.

[dramatic music]

- Oh, there's the castle. - Horsey, horsey. Horsey.

- Talk to the horsey, Mirna.

- Horsey, horsey. - Mirna.

- Horsey, I have sausage. - Oh, God, help us.

- [Mirna] Charla, come on. [dramatic music]

- [Eric] He's pushing me off the damn street.

- [Mirna] Right here, Charla.

Right here. The guy's here. [Charla screams]

[dramatic music]

- [Charla] I can't do this anymore, Mirna.

- This might be the stable boy

on the right-hand side. - Is this the guy?

- [Danielle] I think so. [dramatic music]

- Charla and Mirna? - Yes.

- You're team number four. - Way to go.

- [Both] Good job.

[dramatic music] [metal clanks]

- Whoo. - Joe and Bill,

you're the fifth team to arrive.

However, you've been marked for elimination

and you need to wait out minutes

before I can check you in.

- Okay. - Okay.

Doesn't sound good. - Yeah.

- [Eric] Whoa. [Danielle laughs]

Thank you. - We did our best.

[dramatic music]

- Eric and Danielle, you are team number five.

- Okay, good.

- Now, I'm gonna get Joe and Bill to come in here.

[soft music]

Joe and Bill, unfortunately you've been marked

for elimination and all the other teams are checked in.

- Oh. - And I'm very sorry

to tell you you had been eliminated from the race.

- In our life, I can't think of a time

when we've really had more fun together.

It's been great.

I mean, I'm crying, but it's happy.

It's the best times we've had together.

It's great.

- I think we can walk away with our heads held high

and be proud of ourselves and proud of what

we accomplished and achieved here.

It has been a wonderful life-altering experience once again.

You find the one person that is your true soulmate

that just know you're destined to be with.

- I've had a knight in shining armor

for years now.

Life is supposed to be enjoyed.

You're supposed to surround yourself

with love and happiness

and I think Bill and I have done that.

It's really wonderful. [dramatic music]

[soft music]

- [Phil] Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on "The Amazing Race."

Charla and Mirna infuriate Eric and Danielle.

- [Eric] You gonna let us use

one of those computers? - No, we just got on.

[dramatic music] [air whooshes]

- We just on here so we're gonna look for a minute.

I don't know why people don't like us.

- 'Cause you're rude.

- [Phil] And even Oswald and Danny hit their boiling point.

- Oswald, you can't piss somebody off like that and just--

- [Oswald] I'm not pissing you off.

- I don't wanna do it. - I'm not being stubborn.

Let's go do it. - I don't wanna do it.

I listen to you every single time.

- You're being stubborn. - Now I wanna go.

[dramatic music]
