PHIL: Previously on The Amazing Race...

Go!

teams started out from this pier

in Santa Monica, California,

and raced more than , miles across continents

to the city of Manila in the Philippines.

Along the way tempers flared...

A scumbag is a scumbag.

We didn't pass by checkpoints!

PHIL: and the competition became nasty.

We have to beat the midget.

Look who it is. Bitch!

Who is that?

PHIL: Some teams were plagued by injuries.

Oh, Dad.

My knees are k*lling me.

PHIL: But fought through the pain.

Pain is not a factor.

Nobody's ever died from pain.

For many this was the dream of a lifetime.

I just wanted to prove to the world how much I can do.

PHIL: teams fell by the wayside.

Dennis and Erika... Alison and Donny...

Jim and Marsha... Bob and Joyce...

Marshall and Lance... Charla and Mirna...

Kami and Karli, you're the last team to arrive.

You've both been eliminated from the race.

PHIL: Dating Christians Brandon and Nicole endured devastating setbacks...

I just feel so sick.

PHIL: and tactical errors.

Both of your heads must be shaved.

Now we have to go all the way back.

PHIL: But their commitment to playing the game...

Do you have any idea where Brandon and Nikki are?

PHIL: And to their faith...

Jesus' name, amen.

PHIL: has brought them to the final .

-Whoo! -All right!

PHIL: Bowling moms Linda and Karen,

the only all female team to ever make it past leg of the race,

have struggled with directions...

Give me the map! Are you gonna navigate or do you want to drive?

PHIL: And financial woes.

We are begging for money.

PHIL: They nevertheless maintained a can-do attitude...

The kids are gonna be so proud of you.

PHIL: that has saved them from elimination.

We did it!

Married parents Chip and Kim,

the oldest team left in the race,

persevered over adversaries...

She won't allow me to go first.

PHIL: near elimination...

we are so dead.

PHIL: and their biggest competition...

I'm going to yield Colin and Christie.

PHIL: by believing in each other...

Come on, baby. Come on.

PHIL: to pull themselves to the front of the pack.

Yeah!

PHIL: Dating couple Colin and Christie survived each other...

Why don't you want to try to do it?

Because. Just leave me alone.

PHIL: near incarceration...

There's no contract.

PHIL: and an act of betrayal.

Oh, my God.

-They yielded us, Colin.-Damn it!

PHIL: But their commitment to each other...

Good job, baby. OK.

PHIL: and their competitive spirit...

Let's catch up with the other teams because they yielded us.

PHIL: earned them first place times to leap into the final .

In tonight's special -hour season finale,

one of these teams will fall victim to the final elimination

and one will win The Amazing Race.

PHIL: This is Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

And in the center of Manila, the Coconut Palace.

Built as a tribute to Pope John Paul II,

the unusual palace was the th pit stop in a race around the world.

Yeah!

PHIL: Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg for a mandatory rest period.

Colin and Christie, who were yielded by Chip and Kim on the previous leg,

arrived last but were not eliminated...

because this pit stop was the last of predetermined non-elimination spots.

But they were stripped of all the money

they had accumulated since the start of the race

and will not receive any money for the coming leg.

COLIN: Last leg, Chip yielded us.

Come on. You know why. You know why

It was a good move.

You know why, because you know

I can't beat you standing head to head, bro.

It was stupid of us to ever work with Chip and Kim and to ever trust them.

They are not a trustworthy team.

Come here. Christie.

Aww!

They see Colin and I as a stronger team.

I'm just disappointed in our own naivete.

KIM: My hope and prayer is that Colin and Christie

will not have enough money to really finish this leg of the race.

-We have no money.-We have no money.

So we're kind of asking around to see if anyone can help us out a little bit.

CHRISTIE: We now have money to start the leg tomorrow,

and we feel pretty good about it.

We don't know how much that the other teams are going to get

but I feel like this is a really good start.

PHIL: Chip and Kim, who were first to arrive at : P.M.,

will depart at : A.M.

Make your way to the Jose Rizal Monument.

PHIL: Teams must now make their way to Luneta Park

and find this statue of a Philippine hero and philosopher, Jose Rizal,

where they will find their next clue.

All righty.

Do you know where the Jose--

Jose Rizal Monument?

CHIP: This race is starting to turn serious.

This is the time for people to step it up.

Chip time is over.

Chip the friendly, la la la, having fun-- that time is over.

Now is Kim time. Go for the jugular.

We're in sync,

we're doing everything right. As long as we stay focused,

I know that we can win this race.

Make your way to Jose Rizal Monument.

We are excited about being the only woman team.

We're in second place. We're not starting at the bottom.

We've gone this far. We need to win this damn thing.

Taxi?

I don't see anyone.

We might have to go over to the hotel.

Make your way to the Jose Rizal Monument.

Let's go.

I feel great that we're still in the game.

I'm grateful. I'm happy.

NICOLE: It frustrates me, Brandon's just like,

"Oh, well, I'm just glad to be here

and I'm glad we weren't eliminated and blah, blah, blah, blah."

I didn't do this race to be third. I want to be first.

Here's a cab.

Oh, grab it.

That's fortunate. Good morning.

There's taxis down here, Karen.

-Linda, hurry!-Come on, let's go.

Luneta Park?

teams have $ for this leg of the race,

one team has zero for this leg of the race

We don't have any money.

We were able to beg for money

so we're not worried about money too much.

The team that we've helped out the most through this race

is the team that causes us to come in last place and get our money taken away.

Taxi!

Chip and Kim completely

stabbed us in the back by yielding us.

I want to show that team that even though they yielded us

we can still beat them. Revenge would be sweet.

CHIP: Luneta Park?

Yeah. Turn in. Turn in. Yeah. Turn in.

Be right back, OK?

Catch one of charter flights to El Nido.

PHIL: Teams must race to secure seats

on one of charter flights to the island village of El Nido.

The first charter will hold teams and depart at : A.M.

The other teams will have to take a second charter

that leaves minutes later.

Once they land in El Nido,

teams must make their way to this boat dock and choose a marked boat.

The driver will then take the team to this buoy

where they'll receive their next clue.

The boat driver will take you to your next clue.

I.T.I. Airways.

Let us out. Let us out.

Catch one of charter flights to El Nido.

A. Soriano Aviation?

Stop right there and wait for us, OK?

Nicole and Brandon are already done.

Karen, run!

There are teams right on our heels.

The bowling moms, which we passed...

catch one of charter flights to El Nido.

and Colin and Christie.

So we got to get on that first charter flight.

Come on. I think that's Colin and Christie.

Let's go.

-El Nido. -Where's El Nido?

Catch one of the charter flights to El Nido.

Let's go. Come on. Hurry up.

The other team's right there.

Fast, fast, fast. You're too slow. Faster, faster.

To the airport, fast, fast, fast.

KIM: Yeah, Soriano Aviation.

-Is that it right there? -OK.

OK. Hi. How are you?

:. OK.

KIM: It felt so awesome writing our name on that first charter.

My hopes and prayers are that Colin and Christie

have to take the second flight because he's just too doggone physical.

We happened to be fortunate enough to get on the : flight.

Yeah, baby.

Got to go fast, fast, fast.

We always get slow taxis.

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

Man, this guy is good. This guy is good!

BRANDON: Fast, fast, fast.

Really fast. We're in a race.

Good morning.

-Oh, yeah.-Whoo!

All right. That's what I like, baby.

:.

Thank you.

KAREN: Let us out, let us out.

Hurry, hurry. Come on, Karen.

We're the last ones here?

No. We beat Colin and Christie.

Fourth place.

I know.

All right. Let's go!

BRANDON: I'm not counting any chickens before they hatch,

but it feels good to be on the first charter flight.

This is a blessing because this is what we needed

to really take Christie and Colin off their game.

LINDA: We're on the second flight to leave

and it's basically Colin and Christie and us

in a race to not be eliminated.

CHRISTIE: We don't know what's ahead of us.

We are very close to being eliminated from this race.

PHIL: Teams are now flying to the island village of El Nido

in the westernmost province of the Philippines.

[Singing in native language]

OK. Thanks. Thank you. Wow.

All right. We got a little--

Who goes to El Nido Harbor?

Do you go to El Nido Harbor, the pier?

-Yes. -OK, we'll get in here.

CHIP: OK. Yeah, definitely.

Wow, look at this.

Look at this.

NICOLE: El Nido is so amazing.

Do you see that? The Baptist church.

It's surrounded by these huge mountains.

I mean, it's just beautiful.

KIM: Here go some marked boats right here. Here they are.

CHIP: There they are, right there.

NICOLE: Faster.

Go with this guy.

Thank you.

You've got to go fast, fast, fast, OK?

-Come on. -Come on.

Who's fast?

Get in! Get in, hurry!

-Go, go, go, go.-Go to the pier.

-The pier, the pier.-The pier.

Whoo hoo hoo!

Go, go. Don't let them beat you.

CHRISTIE: Good job.

Fast. Go on. Go fast. Don't stop.

Oh, he's beating us.

Chilling it.

El Nido, baby. That's what I'm talking about.

Ha ha ha!

NICOLE: There it is. There it is. There it is.

Only one of these flags is

the national flag of the Philippines.

PHIL: Teams must search among islands for separate flags,

one of which is the national flag of the Philippines.

Once they've decided on a flag they think is correct,

their boat driver will take them to the island where the flag is flying.

If they have identified the correct flag,

they'll receive their next clue.

If teams choose the wrong flag,

they will have to try again, a potentially costly mistake

as the travel time between each island is approximately minutes.

They are not allowed to ask their boat driver for help.

OK, there's a flag right there.

BRANDON: That's green, white, and--

Is that a flag there?

There's a flag down there.

I can't even see it.

BRANDON: Yeah, follow them, follow them.

KIM: Hurry up, babe.

Run, baby, run. Whoo!

We're behind Chip and Kim and so I don't even get out of the boat

to see if that's the right route marker.

I trust Chip.

NICOLE: Chip, is that it?

-Try again?-Back, back, back.

This one is closer, so let's go over here.

Follow them, follow them.

CHRISTIE: There they are right there.

-Go. -Go.

Come on.

Who is the fastest? Get on this one. It will be faster.

Here we go. We're ready.

Go, go, go, go.

Go, go. Hurry, hurry. They're beating us.

Whoo hoo! All right.

-Is it it? -No.

All right. That one. That one.

BRANDON: Chip, is that it?

No!

Yeah.

OK.

PHIL: Teams must now make their way along the shoreline of this island

and spot a flagged beach.

Once there they'll put on snorkel gear

to search the floor of the South China Sea

for one of giant clams

and then pry it open to retrieve the clue inside.

You got to do what you got to do.

We don't want them to know that was the correct flag.

This is a game. We're not going to tell them

if it's right or not right.

-OK, go that way -Hey, this way. Come on.

Chip and Kim flat out lied to our faces.

Well, that makes me mad.

We already got Colin hating us.

Why not try to do a pair and then we'll do three of a kind?

OK, OK. Let's go.

Only one of these flags is the national flag of the Philippines.

If you are wrong you will have to try again.

Oh, OK.

So what are we doing?

Come on. Let's go.

This is the first time I see Chip face to face

since he's lied to me.

What Chip did is fine if that's his way to play the game.

It's just not our style.

I say we split up, totally.

I will not trust Chip again.

CHIP: We own a swimming pool, but Kim doesn't even know how to swim.

NICOLE: Brandon!

CHIP: Nicole looked like she was drowning.

I was the one nearest to her, so I went over to help her.

NICOLE: Chip swims up and he's like,

"Are you OK? Are you OK?"

I know he's going to snatch it.

NICOLE: Come on, baby.

-Roadblock. -Roadblock.

A roadblock is a task that only one person may perform.

In this roadblock that person has to use a device known as an ascender

to pull themselves feet up a limestone cliff known as Lagen Wall.

When the ascent is finally completed they'll get their next clue

and rappel down feet back to their partner.

What's vertigo?

I don't know.

But you're doing it, right?

You're going to do the roadblock, right?

OK.

Well, there's no way I can beat Chip at anything.

OK, I'm doing it.

All right. Let's go, let's go, let's go.

Lagen Wall.

-You know? -OK.

Fast, fast.

Just jump out real quick and go see.

They're anchoring.

Sorry, try again.

-Over there, over there.-To the right. Yeah.

I don't think they have anything in their hand.

It's not it.

Stay right here, Karen.

Fast, fast, fast. To the right.

-Sorry, try again. -Ugh!

Go that a way! That a way. Show him which way.

-KAREN: A flag? -LINDA: Yes.

No way.

Go that way. Go that way.

The bowling moms went the other way.

I figure they probably think that they need to take a chance

because, you know, if they follow us we'll probably stay ahead of them

but if they can go over there and we go over here

and we're wrong and they're right,

it is going to be hard to catch up.

Fast, fast, fast.

Oh! Oh, my God. Oh!

Congratulations, you found the right island.

This isn't it. Now we're in trouble.

Third try out of three. That's real bad.

LINDA: We are so excited. We're in it.

We have a lead. Yes!

We're doing great. Go faster, faster, faster.

Whoo!

There is no excuse for this.

Almost every other place we've had guide books

and we should have one now.

It's our own fault.

Damn.

COLIN: Because I don't know what the Filipino flag looks like,

I'm kind of kicking myself in the butt here.

It's something that I could have controlled.

We're just hoping that once we get to the other side

we don't have to do anything too physically extreme right now.

Faster. Faster.

OK, go, go, go.

Congratulations, you found the right island.

Along the shoreline.

Karen!

You got it!

It looks like the mom already did it. They're right there.

Let's go.

Have vertigo? Don't go.

-What's vertigo?-I don't know.

Let's go. Come on.

I think that's Colin and Christie.

Go, go, go, go, go.

OK. Let's do it, baby.

-OK. Go, go. -Quickly, quickly.

-Yes. Yes. -Whoo hoo! Go, go!

Go. We're losing time.

CHIP: When we came up on the point

where we could actually see what I had to climb,

oh, my God.

You can do it!

It's feet and this little thin rope.

I was just freaking out.

You're going to do great.

Whoa.

I don't like heights, but I don't think about anything

except getting up that rock as fast as I could and getting back down.

MAN: OK.

Everything tight? Everything right?

Move your hands up. Stand up.

OK, are you ready to do this?

-Uh-huh. -OK.

I'm ready. Let's do it.

Go, go, go.

Push up.

Why am I not going up?

NICOLE: There you go, baby.

Can I bounce like this?

-MAN: Yeah. -You're good, babe.

-You're doing good.-You're good.

You go.

Push up.

Ha ha! Chip hasn't left yet.

KIM: Just relax and take your time.

$ million, baby.

Go for it. Use those muscles...

There you go. Stand up. Arm up.

CHRISTIE: Did you find 'em?

COLIN: Does there have to be a clue in there?

-Yes. -OK. No clue.

No.

-OK. -Hurry.

I don't think he has the rhythm down right.

Chip is having a hard time with this one.

That's what you get, Chip.

When you sit down, then you're pushing your arms up.

NICOLE: I know that is so tiring.

I feel bad. I don't do anything.

Hah!

I won't feel so bad when I have that check in my hands.

There you go.

All right, babe. Hurry, hurry.

You're almost there.

Hah!

-Oh, God.-It's OK

He's so good. I mean like, come on,

there's just no competition.

Have vertigo? Don't go.

OK, I'll go. I'm doing it.

Let's go, baby. Fast!

KAREN: Look at how hard it is to climb, Linda.

Someone's trying to climb right now.

KIM: You're doing great.

Stand up, then move your arms and sit down.

Bring me the clue, Brandon. Bring me a clue.

All right, let's go.

NICOLE: I cannot tell you how good that was.

Baby, good job. Here come the moms.

Uh-oh, here come the moms. I don't see Colin and Christie.

I don't know what happened to them.

That's the moms.

Take a -person kayak and paddle to the next pit stop,

the beach at Lagen Island.

PHIL: Teams must now get in a -person kayak

and paddle themselves to the other side of Lagen Wall,

to the beach at Lagen Island.

This is the pit stop for this leg of the race.

The last team to check in here will be eliminated

and lose their quest for the $ million prize.

Warning, the last team to check in will be eliminated.

-OK. -OK, get in.

Come on, baby. Let's go.

Squat down, push your hands up.

KAREN: This is like inches, Linda.

You can do it. Just go.

You've got to go. Feet up.

-Yes, that's it.-There you go.

The movement is on your legs.

Yeah. Movement on your legs, Chip.

LINDA: You've got it, just a technique.

♪ Go, Karen, go Karen

Stand up. Perfect. Use your legs.

KAREN: I am.

No Colin and Christie.

No Colin and Christie. Thank God.

We got to do this, you guys.

LINDA: Come on, at a time, at a time.

One more. You can do it.

, , .

I'm so tired, Linda.

Karen, you're already halfway.

No Colin and Christie. No Colin and Christie.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Oh, we made it, baby.

Come on. We haven't made it yet.

I know. We're almost there.

OK, more. Go. One.

One more. Come on. You can do it. , , .

Almost, Chip.

Hurry up. There you go, Chip.

Yay, babe.

Make sure they give you the clue.

MAN: Your clue. Read it down there.

Use your feet more, Karen, use your feet.

Chip's right up there. Come on.

I'm trying, Linda.

I could not do this. I could not do this.

So if she does it, she's superwoman. She is.

I see a boat on the horizon, so that might be Colin and Christie.

I think that's Colin and Christie maybe.

KIM: Whoo! Yeah! You did it!

MAN: All right.

Congratulations. Awesome. Awesome.

LINDA: Come on, Karen! Look up! You're there!

Go, Karen, go!

You got a great lead. You got to capitalize on it. Go!

COLIN: We're almost there.

CHRISTIE: We're almost there.

Take a -person kayak and paddle to the next pit stop.

Warning, the last team to check in will be eliminated.

Oh! We made it, baby.

Mabuhay. Welcome to Palawan.

Hi.

Mabuhay. Welcome to Palawan.

Thank you.

Brandon and Nicole, you're team number one.

Whoo! Good job.

Congratulations. You're one of the teams

who will be racing to the finish line for $ million.

Gosh. OK.

Now I've got some good news for you.

As the winners of this th leg of the race,

you've won a vacation to the sunny Caribbean...

Oh, my God!

compliments of American Airlines website, aa.com,

which you can enjoy after the race.

Oh, that's awesome. That is awesome.

We won one.

CHIP: Do you have the clue, Kim?

Yeah. I got it. We got to go around there.

LINDA: Come on. I think that's Colin and Christie.

Go, go, go. Don't rest.

Go, Karen. They're right on your tail.

She's resting. I'm going to pass her.

All right. Who is suiting me up?

Gotta hurry.

Karen, go, go. Don't stop.

You're almost there.

Go and don't stop, you can do it, baby.

I believe in you, Colin. I'm so proud of you.

I know you can do it.

Nobody else I'd rather be here with right here now.

I believe in you. You can do it.

You can do it.

Bounce, Karen, bounce. Up and down, go, go.

She's climbing some more.

MAN:You ready to do this?

-Yeah, I'm ready. -OK, go.

Go on. Get in the front.

Oh, my God.

CHRISTIE: Just a consistent pace, baby.

I know you're going to get tired.

Just keep going.

OK, go.

Chip obviously had a difficult time

and is just now leaving.

I sure would have loved the moms to pass them.

There's a little something called karma

and what goes around comes around.

And he will get it.

Come on, Karen! Don't stop!

Go, Karen, go!

All right, Colin! I love you!

LINDA: Come on, Karen, go!

He's coming up right now behind you.

Look up. Look, you're almost there.

All right, Colin!

This is it, baby!

Come on, Karen, don't stop! He's tired.

Just keep going. Just don't give up.

Go, go!

Linda, I'm sorry.

Oh, man.

Come on, Karen, go, go. Don't stop.

MAN: And now your clue and you read it with your partner--

Yeah, yeah, I know. Just please, gotta be quick.

I get to control my own descent, right?

Yes.

Good.

Oh, man. He's already beaten her.

I'm so happy. Oh, I'm so happy.

Yee-haw!

Nothing we can do. We gave %.

Go, Karen, go. Hurry!

My arms are so tired.

Your kids are going to be so proud of you!

Ha ha!

Take a -person kayak

and paddle it to the next pit stop,

the beach at Lagen Island.

Let's go.

OK.

We're not giving up.

We're going to be ready to go, life jackets on.

We're going out fighting. We're going out fighting.

OK, go.

There she goes. Come on, Karen! Come on!

Whoo-hoo!

Come on, hurry, hurry, hurry.

Whoo-hoo!

What a job. You OK?

Now you're looking at a tired man right now, Phil.

Colin and Christie, you're team number .

Feels good.

You can rest, you can rest.

It's OK. You just rest.

You worked hard enough.

KAREN: I have been a full-time mom for years

and my kids are ready to go off on their own.

I'm gonna have to start a new chapter in my life

and this has shown me there's so much out there that I can do.

Whoo-hoo!

-Oh, that felt good.-I know. It's hot out.

Look. There. How's that feel?

-Good. -Does that feel good

LINDA: Karen is an awesome friend.

She puts up with me like my husband does

and that takes a hell of a big person and I love her.

Mabuhay. Welcome to Palawan.

Thank you.

Mabuhay. Welcome to Palawan.

Linda and Karen, you're the last team to arrive.

We figured it. We did great.

Did the best we could do.

Yep.

I'm sorry to tell you you've both been eliminated from the race.

Yeah. I'm proud of her. That was a hard last one.

You guys bowled lot of strikes on this race...

Yeah. We did.

and now you left one standing today.

That's me.

No, no, no. No way.

I could not even make it up that thing.

Don't you dare say that. Don't you dare.

I'm glad that I got to spend this truly amazing adventure

with my friend Linda. I love Linda.

I will love her forever.

Thanks, Linda.

We did it.

CHRISTIE: Going into the th leg, everyone wants to win.

The other teams are very strong.

But I do feel that Colin and I are stronger.

KIM: Whatever it takes us to win,

we're just going to do it.

I'm behind him %.

As long as he stays behind me %,

we can't lose.

If the Lord has it in mind

for Nikki and I to win the prize,

then there's no one that's going to stop us.

We're the strongest team.

They're not even going to see us coming.

It's on like Donkey Kong now, baby.

PHIL: Finds out who wins The Amazing Race

when the next leg begins in just a few minutes.

PHIL: This is the Philippines.

And this is Lagen Island, a lush forested haven

from the unforgiving South Pacific sun.

This was the th pit stop in a race around the world.

Brandon and Nicole, who were the first to arrive at : P.M.,

will depart at : A.M.

Route info. Make your way

to the city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.

PHIL: Teams must now make their way to Calgary in Alberta, Canada.

To get there they must first take a charter flight to Manila

where they'll board a plane and fly nearly , miles to Calgary.

Once there they must take a taxi miles to Lookout Mountain

where they'll put on snowshoes

and hike , feet to the top of the Continental Divide.

Waiting for them at the top is the next clue.

Travel by marked boat to El Nido pier.

Nikki and I really want to win the million dollars.

We're really trusting in the will of God.

That's the biggest advantage that we have.

Good morning.

I need the : flight.

It's going to be a good leg. It's a whole new race today.

Last leg, baby.

The last leg. You have $

for the next leg of the race.

Chip and I are here because we stayed focused

and we stayed in sync together.

No matter where we finish today we're already winners,

but I would rather be a winner with a million dollars in my pocket.

All right. Let's see where we're going.

Make your way to the City of Calgary.

Overall we've been the strongest team on this race.

Of course we want to win the million dollars.

We want to be the first team to cross the finish line

and I do not want it to be Chip and Kim.

Colin and Christie, they've been making a lot of mistakes of late.

That yield Kim and I we placed on them

threw them into a tailspin that we doubt that they will ever come out of.

So all we have to do is wait here?

-Thank you so much.-Thank you.

CHRISTIE: Finally we have officially caught up

with Chip and Kim and Nicole and Brandon.

COLIN: Everyone's on the same flight

going all the way through to Calgary.

Yep, it's definitely to the right.

Come on.

Here wo go. Let's go.

OK, let's go.

-KIM: OK. Hurry up. -COLIN: We need a taxi.

Lookout Mountain.

All right. As fast as possible.

To Lookout Mountain.

NICOLE: Sir, can we go fast, fast, fast?

sh**t.

They're going to try to pass you, OK?

Colin and I are back in the lead.

Let's go up in there, quick.

We're, of course, the last ones

and that's pretty much been Chip's and my history.

Yeah.

Christie and I do a lot of extreme sports,

a lot of very dangerous things,

and we're not scared of anything.

OK, good job.

Hurry, hurry.

All right. Let's go. We'll change on the gondola.

We had no idea that this leg was going to be in a cold climate.

Mentally we haven't prepared for this

and physically we're definitely not ready for it.

This is culture shock for us Southern California people.

Can you help me?

You all right?

Yeah, I just-- it's right there.

Oh.

COLIN: Getting out right here.

CHRISTIE: Christie, concentrate.

We gotta climb up the hill. Let's go.

That's good.

Let's go.

There's pretty little oxygen up here.

Just breathe nice and easy, baby.

All right, baby, you ready?

Walk on your toes.

OK.

KIM: Oh, I couldn't climb just straight up like that, bro.

Baby, don't say what you can't do.

Well, they're right behind us, baby.

Oh...

BRANDON: Keep it up, little by little.

This is our chance to gain on Nicole and Brandon, baby.

I don't know, Colin. It's hard.

Oh, my God, baby. I know it's tiring

-but you've just got to keep going. -I know.

They're stopping.

Whatever. It doesn't matter.

BRANDON: Picture Jesus up there,

like he's got his arms wide open

and you're running to him.

Picture that in your mind.

$ million. OK?

It's the last leg. We've got to just go.

Lord, help us get up there.

We're almost there.

My legs are getting tired. I can't catch my breath.

Come on. You've just got to go, baby.

Stop, stop.

Oh, my God!

Christie, they are going to catch up to us.

Turn around and look.

CHIP: So if we can just catch up, oh, my God.

Baby, you're not even, like, dying.

Lord, help us get up there.

You're doing great, baby.

-Christie...-Just let me rest.

Do you want to hold on to my poles

and I'll pull you up? Hold on like this.

Just like this.

That's it right there.

Follow right up to the box.

You have made it to the top of the Continental Divide.

Make your way to the base of the Olympic cauldron.

PHIL: Teams must make their way more than miles to Canada Olympic Park.

Once there, teams will have to find the Olympic cauldron

to get their next clue.

Olympic Park in Calgary.

No problem.

Congratulations.

You made it to the top of the Continental Divide.

Make your way to the base of the Olympic cauldron.

All right. Let's go.

Thank you, Lord.

Just keep it up. Don't stop.

We're going to Olympic Park in Calgary, baby.

Wa-hoo-hoo!

Who is that, Colin?

I see Colin coming down.

He's laughing and he's doing the somersaults.

Hell, yeah.

It's almost like he's spitting in our face.

All right. Good job, baby! Looking good.

That was hard.

Look, we're just right there. We're making time on it.

I'm doing my part and leading us.

I'll do whatever it takes to win the million dollars.

Where's the taxis?

My boy, great. Awesome, man.

We're going to Olympic Park.

Is that Colin?

Bad ass! This could not have worked out better.

There's a cab. There's a cab.

Hey, can you take us to Calgary?

Yeah. Fast?

Oh, my gosh. Here we are.

Whoo! Oh, baby.

Congratulations, you have made it

to the top of the Continental Divide.

CHRISTIE: But Nicole and Brandon are right behind us still.

We have to hurry up so that we can keep our lead.

That was too rough for some and over people to do.

CHIP: Man.

You see anything?

BRANDON: Come on, man. We got to drive.

NICOLE: Please, we got to go fast.

CHRISTIE: Thank you.

COLIN: There it is. OK. Be quick. Be quick.

We got a detour.

PHIL: A detour is the choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons.

In this detour, teams have to choose between Olympic courses.

The choice, slide or ride.

In slide, teams do a terrifying -man luge

down the Olympic track at speeds up to miles an hour.

They must complete their ride in under seconds,

the accepted competitive speed for amateurs.

If they fail, they must repeat the luge ride until they hit the target time.

In ride, teams use mountain bikes to ride a slalom course

down the Olympic ski slope.

They must pass each of these gates and they must

beat a competitive time of minutes or repeat the entire course.

This task is not as scary as the luge and is right next to the cauldron.

However, you must have bike riding skills and speed

to complete the task in minutes.

What's snow bikes?

Luge. It's going to be like probably

mountain bikes with spikes in the tires.

-OK.-It's very difficult.

-Luge.-Slide is this way.

OK. Come on. They're there. They're pulling in right now.

They're right behind us.

There's their cab. There's their cab right there.

Detour.

Slide, right?

-You want to slide?-Yeah. I guess so.

Follow the marked path to the luge track.

I see a flag right there, don't you?

Come on, baby. Let's get ahead.

Come on.

The mountain bikes are right there, man.

Well, then let's do the bikes, Brandon. Don't second guess.

It drives me insane. Brandon, I don't know.

OK, let's go. Go to the bikes.

sh**t.

-Do the bikes.-Gosh, Brandon.

CHIP: We're sunk.

Don't give up.

Please select your bikes.

Is this the right height?

Let me see. Yeah, you're fine.

Baby, I think this is too big.

I'm really freaked out. I'm just really, really scared.

I'm going to be really scared in this.

OK.

MAN: Stay nice and relaxed.

You guys need to have a time of seconds.

-OK. -OK. You guys ready?

MAN: , , , go.

Oh...

Brandon!

Whoo hoo hoo!

Whoo!

Whoo hoo hoo hoo!

My feet don't touch.

BRANDON: Come on, babe.

Well traveled, baby. Yeah.

Yeah, baby! Feel the Gs!

I guarantee that was so ... clean.

Don't get too cocky.

My feet don't touch. Brandon!

Careful.

Wait.

Aah! Brandon!

Golly Moses.

Ugh!

Finish time for double luge, . seconds.

Here is your clue.

Route info. It's time to fly to your final destination city,

Dallas, Texas, back in the United States.

PHIL: Teams must now travel nearly , miles

to Dallas, Texas, their final destination.

When they land, they must make their way

to the Fort Worth Stockyards to find their next clue.

-All right.-Cab to the airport.

MAN: :.

BRANDON:- Dang, babe. We gotta do that a lot quicker. -What?

That was over minutes. All right. Let's do it again.

To the airport as fast as possible, brother.

CHRISTIE: I mean, we're excited that we're going

back to Texas since that's where we're from.

There. Go.

Balance with your feet.

MAN: Go!

Aah! Brandon.

Pedal.

Help.

Go around it, go around it.

Brandon! Wait!

Don't cry. It's OK.

I can't do this.

Brandon, wait.

Aah!

[Crying]

I can't do this.

It's all right. Let's just go down.

Brandon, I cannot do this.

It's OK. We'll go do the luge.

I don't even know if this is on the right way.

Here. Come on.

Babe, let's just finish.

Babe, let's just finish.

It's not a big deal. Let's just finish.

It's OK, baby.

It's OK.

My brake doesn't really work.

Baby, you're being hysterical.

I felt like she quit, like she gave up.

Come on, we'll walk.

You want a piggyback ride? Come on.

All right. Let's go luge.

It is getting foggy now, huh?

CHRISTIE: Is there anything open?

Will don't come out of it if we wipe out?

This is really dangerous, isn't it?

-Slide. -OK.

COLIN: Right now we're calling American Airlines.

Can you tell me what the fastest possible flight is?

Let's go ahead and purchase the tickets now.

Whoo!

-It's so cool. -Oh, my God.

Whoa!

-Aah! -Ha ha ha!

MAN: Finish time for double luge, . seconds.

Oh, my gosh, That was so easy.

Thanks.

It's time to fly to your final destination city, Dallas, Texas.

We're going to Dallas, babe.

Now, this is what you wanted to do, huh, Kim?

MAN: Here we go.

CHIP: Houston, we have a problem.

I wanted to do the luge.

Well, I wish you would have spoken up.

I did. I was the one that made that decision.

It's all my fault.

No, I'm not saying that.

I lost us a million dollars.

I'm the bad guy. I'm sorry.

I'm not saying that, Brandon.

I love Nikki and I love being with her.

I'm just not sure yet.

I don't have peace that this is right.

MAN: Biggest thing? Keep your shoulders back.

-OK. -Do it.

-You guys ready? -Yeah.

Let's go again.

We gonna do this doggone thing.

We've been the first person to every clue box,

the first person to finish the detour.

The only thing that matters

is who's gonna get to the finish line first, so..

What is the earliest flight that arrives in Dallas?

My life would be completely different for a long time

if I could get on that flight, Calgary to Dallas.

Thanks for all of your help.

Well, we have a reservation.

I think one of the major keys

is going to be whoever has the fastest taxi.

Like what I would like to try to do is call,

and have a taxi guy waiting with his trunk open,

throw our bags in.

If we can arrange that tonight, that would be great.

Turning left, how does he guide?

With his right foot.

Don't worry about it. Get on here, woman.

Have to use your right to guide.

We did it! Yeah! Wow.

Oh!

The doubles team finished with a time of . seconds.

Whoo! We're good?

We needed that. We was tearing that wall up.

It's time to fly to your final destination.

Dallas, Texas.

Should we just get out of here?

Yeah. Want to go to the hotel?

I need to make sure that I can talk to someone

that will be super fast and really knowledgeable of the area.

Where are Colin and Christie?

We just need to make sure that he's there with his trunk open.

Confirmation number. All righty. Bye-bye.

CHIP: OK. Take it easy.

I am feeling like we've blown our chance at winning the race.

COLIN: We decide that we're not going to carry this stuff with us

and we're going to go ahead and check a bunch of baggage to Dallas.

KIM: You had a direct flight from Calgary to Dallas?

Oh.

Oh, wait a second. So what happened?

Wow. OK.

And let me confirm with you--

so the tickets for tomorrow, is that on flight number

and that is to Dallas, Texas, from Calgary

and it's been delayed now.

It's not going to leave at :?

It's going to leave at : A.M.?

OK. Bye-bye.

This changes everything.

This flight has been delayed hours

so they just found this information out.

So maybe if the other teams are on this flight

they don't know this so this is real interesting.

Hey, Chip!

This is so awesome.

So what we're going to do

is purchase the next best tickets after that.

We could see if United is open right now.

I just want to get the quickest way to get to Dallas.

OK. What time would I get into Dallas?

Thank you so much. OK. So we got that.

Our flight gets in at about :, hours before everybody else.

Ha ha ha!

That old Chip being nice and sharing information,

that's all over. I mean, Kim and I,

we're going to have our cards close to our chest.

Man...

KIM: Are we glad to see you guys.

All that work and we're all together.

We're all on the same flight.

Just chilling like a villain.

So United, we're pretty much set.

We just gotta check in.

Ooh, if that works out, baby,

I'm licking chops and praising God.

Cold.

Man, it's freezing.

CHIP: How you doing this morning?

-Good. -All right, all right, all right.

OK. We gotta get to Dallas

so can you help us get on a different flight?

BRANDON: Oh, my gosh, that threw us for a loop.

-To Dallas?-Yeah.

They go to Denver from here.

OK.

And that still arrives at :, right, in Dallas?

NICOLE: Are y'all waiting in line for United?

OK.

And is the flight full?

So there's nothing that can be done?

Yeah.

Can we get on?

No. She said it's full.

Oh, my gosh. I cannot believe

Chip and Kim got on that flight.

COLIN: So we were kind of wondering,

what are they doing in line at United?

So we go to American Airlines.

I need to ask some questions.

Is this flight delayed?

It's delayed hours.

That's why.

Is there any way to be first on both standby lists?

Yeah. This is nuts, isn't it?

It is sold out. Chip and Kim got on.

Oh, my God.

KIM: It's : A.M. Chip and I are just now checking in

on the : scheduled flight.

There's no sighting of Brandon and Nicole.

There's no Colin and Christie.

So we are praying that they will not make this flight.

COLIN: Chip and Kim had reservations. Damn.

Should have just called United.

This is definitely a mistake on Colin's part.

Should have woken up early and been here.

CHIP: The old Colin, the Colin on his game,

he would have flights booked with about different airlines.

This actually could be the break of the whole race.

The next fastest flight is completely booked.

Chip and Kim are on it.

So, we probably all just lost right now.

We're done.

We are absolutely done.

Is there another carrier from Denver...

TICKET AGENT: Yeah.

to Dallas?

There has to be something.

Is that flight open?

Yeah.

BRANDON: That's great.

We'd be minutes behind Chip and Kim.

NICOLE: Yeah, that's what we want to do.

-We still have to get to Denver.-I know.

We need to go check in at United.

Could you go ahead and book reservations for us on that same flight?

You got it?

Ooh.

Oh, this is one of the worst possible things

that could happen.

A million dollars.

We just lost a million dollars.

We gotta get on this flight.

For Colin this would definitely be the chink in his armor

that we were looking for but we'll have to see.

The doors still have not shut on this flight.

Oh...

Exellent.

But what about from Denver to Dallas?

-Two bags? -Yes, right here.

What do we do with bags that we were going to check?

Oh, OK.

P.A.: United flight to Denver now boarding.

-Good morning. -Hi.

NICOLE: This is the flight to Denver.

From Denver we have confirmed a flight to Dallas

on American Airlines. However, we're on standby.

Hopefully once we get there to get on Chip and Kim's flight to Dallas.

COLIN: It's going to be a footrace between Brandon and Nicole and us

to try to be the first people on the standby list for the Dallas flight.

Come on. We got to go fast.

-Good-bye. -Bye.

We're fighting to get on y'all's flight.

Let me talk. Hi. How are you doing, Wendy?

Fine.

We're trying desperately

to get on the : flight to Dallas.

I know. I know. They were supposed

to have already put us on standby for the :.

It's worth $ million to us

to get on this flight.

Hi. We have to get on this flight.

Did you have bags checked?

Yeah, but if they don't show--

That's not the issue. We can't put you on this

if you have your bags on American.

What if we left without our bags?

-You can't do that.-We need to get on this flight.

We'll throw the bags away.

MAN: But you don't understand.

It's an F.A.A. Rule

that your bag has to be with you here.

We need to get on this flight.

There's not a chance

we're gonna get on the flight without our bags?

We're going to have to run, I think, to make it.

So what are you telling me?

You're telling me I can't get on your flight?

No, you can't get on this flight.

No. We need to--

Sir, we have to get on this.

It's dire that I get on here.

COLIN: We gotta get this train.

Oh, my gosh. You cannot do anything for us?

Quick!

Come on.

You've got to be kidding me.

Right now my heart is going at , miles per hour.

P.A.: Keep clear and hold on.

Brandon, wait.

This is Concourse "C." Great. Let's go.

WOMAN: And you are set to go.

OK. So we made the American flight. We got minutes to make up

and we have a really good driver meeting us in Dallas.

All right. Let's go.

Do we already have boarding passes?

Yeah.

You can count on Chip and Kim to maybe make a mistake.

Oh, my God. They're only going to be minutes ahead of us, seriously.

BRANDON: Man, those darned bags.

Kim and I are kind of like in shock

because we are the only ones that made this flight.

I want to show Chip and Kim we can still beat them. It's on.

I really think that we can win this thing

if we put everything into it.

It's do or die.

Taxi? Is it down there?

Stockyards Boulevard near Main Street.

Do you know where that is? OK. OK.

KIM: It has to be fast.

The Fort Worth Stockyards. OK.

We're definitely not going to rest on our laurels.

-Oh! -Oh! -Oh!

-OK, baby?-Yeah, I'm fine.

Can you drive us fast?

-Do you see him?-White towncar.

-Hi. -Hi. How you doing?

How fast do you drive?

You know the fastest way, Yeah? Let's go.

Oh, that's my boy, getting started right.

The fastest possible way.

BRANDON: They're gone already.

Earl, we can't come in second. You gotta go.

Is this the fastest way? This is the fastest way. OK.

Ha ha ha!

Yeah. The man knows his car. All right.

Taxi!

Fort Worth Stockyard. You have to go fast.

The team in front of us got some crazy driver.

This guy is hauling butt. We're going to catch up.

KIM: Oh, yeah, there it is. There is Stockyard Boulevard.

There's the flag up there. See the yellow and red?

The final clue of the race is inside the glass box.

PHIL: To get the final clue of the race,

teams must grab the key under their picture

and search this complex maze for this location

and unlock the box with their names on it.

Then they must take this picture,

find their way back out of the maze,

and place it on the board.

They must then repeat this process for the second location.

This time they will get a key that will open this glass box

so they may take their final clue.

Search for box number one.

Get your bearings right.

Is there anything there?

We've got to try to remember all of this.

Anything there?

"Are you lost?"

-There we go. -What the heck?

CHRISTIE: Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry.

Just keep going, keep going, keep going.

We just wanted you to keep up with that other taxi.

It's in the Lord's hands.

Please, Lord.

OK. That's from the back, the very--

this is the cow crossing.

Baby, you're not you're not figuring out something.

We went left last time.

You've got to speed on the way there

and if you're not sure call someone, OK?

This is two.

Two is right there, but one we just got to find, then.

Just be as fast as you can.

Come on, boo. We got to hustle, girl.

OK. Concentrate. Look at the rat.

Are we stupider than the rat?

This is crazy.

"Are you lost?" No, I ain't lost, bro.

We are just trapped.

Whatever you've got to do, man.

We've gotta get there. OK. Go, go, go.

-KIM: What's on this side? -Oh.

CHIP: Stupid idiots finally found something.

Wow, what an idiot.

That took way too long.

Way too long.

Now get key number two.

-OK. Come on. Move it. -OK.

Two was on the away side of those stairs.

Oh, man.

Oh!

-Oh. -Damn.

-Idiot.-They are going to catch us.

-OK. Two. -Two.

Take me out of the maze.

Come on, Kim. Hustle, hustle.

OK.

I'm going to go this way now.

OK. OK.

OK. It's almost over. Make your way to Dallas.

Find Tramell Crow Park and run to the finish line.

This is it. Go, go, go, go!

-Whoo! -This is it!

See the yellow and red flag? We're going to turn in there.

KIM: We gotta find Crow Lake Park.

Head toward Dallas.

Yep, that was Colin and Christie.

This is it. Go, go, go.

The final clue to the race is waiting

inside the glass box attached to your picture.

The maze was so stressful.

Always go to the left. Let's always go to the left.

Always go to the left and then go back to where you started.

We need to look above us to get reference.

Here we go. Box number one.

That was good.

Let's go.

-Let's go. -Here.

KIM: Oh, no.

Oh, my God. It's going to take a miracle.

The final clue of the race is waiting inside the glass box.

Come on, baby. We can do this.

OK, from here we got a right and left. We'll go right first.

-Sorry. -Sorry, sorry.

OK.

Put the magnet up.

Go, go, go, go.

-CHRISTIE: Let's go this way.-OK.

-Is that a dead end? -OK. Back to where we started.

It's almost over. Make your way to Dallas.

Find Tramell Crow Park and run to the finish line.

This is it. Go, go, go.

OK, this is it, baby.

We're going to the finish line.

Maybe the million dollars.

-Got to go fast. -OK.

Yeah. Think about the traffic.

Drive on the shoulders. Whatever you've got to do, baby.

This is it.

We are in big trouble.

We've got to get there as soon as possible.

[Horn blowing]

That is bad.

Colin and Christie could be in front of us right now.

They have done some impossible things before.

You got it. You got it.

Yeah. Perfect. No one's beating Earl.

I feel confident that, you know,

we'll be the first team there.

Come on, light. What's wrong with this light?

-Crow Lake Park.-Crow Lake Park.

Good, that's where we're going.

Yeah. You got it, baby.

Got to figure out how to get up...

up there.

It's not that far?

-No. -OK.

Go right, left. Right, then left.

Come on.

Baby, baby, baby, baby, come on.

Thank you so much.

You made me a millionaire. Thank you.

Hold my hand.

continents, countries, , miles.

Chip and Kim, you are the official winners of The Amazing Race.

Congratulations. You have won the $ million.

Come here, twins.

Come on, guys. Come up here.

Just tell me how special your wife is.

Oh, my God.

I mean, for me to be able to have my soul mate

that I love and my best friend

and she's fine, too.

I just--it's a blessing that we could come here

and we tell our kids that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to.

Man...

this is like surreal right now. I mean--

I just hate the fact that this whole process and experience is over

because it's just been wonderful.

I can't even imagine--

If anybody just gets a chance to take the time out to just travel,

I mean, it's just been beautiful,

just our entire experience

and with all of the different people.

We love everybody, each and all of you guys.

We just love you guys to death.

It's just a blessing that we're standing here right now.

It's just unbelievable, Phil.

[Applause]

Let's go, guys!

Colin and Christie, team number .

I'd have to say that you guys would be

one of the most competitive teams ever on The Amazing Race.

Talk about your partner here.

She was with you the whole way on this thing.

You know, Christie--

I love her so much.

And that's all that's important to me is Christie.

Chip and Kim, they absolutely deserve it. They ran an awesome race.

They were definitely a very, very, very strong team.

We're glad you guys won.

You all did an absolutely awesome job.

-Thank you so much. -Yeah.

Yeah. Hey, come here, man.

There's so much that I'm able to take away from this experience,

having traveled the world, having been able

to experience so many different cultures.

I'm taking so much away from it.

I just want Colin to know there is nobody in this world

I would rather spend my life with.

If she can continue to put up with me

then I think we'll be together forever.

Hop on.

Brandon and Nicole, you're team number .

I want Brandon to know

that I have really fallen more in love with him

over the course of this race.

I'm so proud of Nikki and just so thankful for a girl like her

who can just look on the bright side of things.

We're blessed and I think the best is yet to come.

We won!

I knew you were gonna do it.

You guys did awesome.

You guys are amazing. Amazing.

Running The Amazing Race taught me that no matter what, I can't quit.

I love him even more. I mean, I didn't think

I could love him as much as I love him now.

He was the man.

She cried tears of joy

and that's my happiest times, when she does that.

It just makes us even stronger to know that nothing is impossible.

It was our dream and our destiny and we made it.
