maybe even millennia, to see through.

my project on track

will be dead on the surface.

Because after all,

what is the ultimate w*apon
of mass destruction?

And in the event of an incident,

we will defeat all of our enemies.

Not by outfighting anyone,

but by outliving them.

all external threats,

they end up eating each other.

are gonna survive

better than those animals on the surface?

A well-trained staff
of highly supervised junior executives


from my own assistant training program.

Because the future of humanity
comes down to one word:


Management.

[Barb] Bud here has an idea for

three interconnected vaults.

But we need more ideas.

and I propose we bring that same spirit
of competition to our solution.

for humanity.

From that one clue,

civilization had returned to the surface.

he said it was a ridiculous idea,

And that's when she realized
that her husband, the Overseer,

was hiding things.

[Hank] Lucy, let's go.

[Moldaver] So she ran away.

And took her children.

And she found this wonderful city

that was everything
the vaults had promised to be.

[Hank] She is lying!

[Moldaver] But then,

her husband came after her.

And when she decided not to return home,

he took the children.

And he b*rned that city to the ground.

Shady Sands.

She's lying, Lucy.

[Moldaver] That's how
Vault-Tec deals with competition.


Just like they did 200 years ago.

[gentle music playing]

[bell clanging]

What you brought me is cold fusion.

It's limitless energy.
