THE BIG LITTLE VISITOR

Oh, hi! It's so good to see
you and you're just in time!

I was just about
to check the mail.

Look...we have mail! Let's
see what we got in there today.

It looks like a letter.
A letter for... Tutter.

Tutter loves getting mail.

He'll love getting this.
Come on inside.

[guitar music]

[sniffing] Mm?

[sniffing]

Wait a second...

[sniffing]

What is that smell?

[sniffing]

[sniffing]

Uh! It's you...

[sniffing] Ooh!

Tell me were you just
been playing outside?

Because you have
a nice smell of fresh air.

[sniffing]

all the time. [laughing]

So, I should be arriving

at the Big Blue House on...

No, umm,

it just says that your grandma
should be coming here... today!

that would be...
take the two, carry the three,

[screaming]

That's not enough time, Bear!

I'm not ready, Bear,

[screaming]

Tutter, I'm sure your grandma
will be happy to see you

no matter what...

[laughing]

Hey guys, what's all the
yelling about?

-Yeah, Is everything...

Hey Pip, Hey Pop. Tutter just
got this letter and yes,

everything's okay, but...

Everything is not okay!

My Grandma Flutter is
coming for a visit

and I haven't done
a thing to get ready!

What will she think?

Isn't your grandma coming...

Ok, this is the problem:

got this letter from his Grandma

and it must have been delayed
in the mail. But Tutter,

I'm sure your grandma

will be happy to see you
no matter what...

You just don't know,
Bear, you just don't know.

She's very particular,
Bear, very particular.

She's very clean.

And if she see's
the Big Blue House

and it isn't... spic and span.

Ok, Tutter, Tutter, Tutter,
Tutter. Take a deep breath.

[deep breath]

-I have an idea.
-You do?

Yeah. If we all work
together, we could have

this place cleaned
up in no time!

-Yeah!
-Really? We could?

of cleaning to do

in my mouse hole! So much to do,

Hey, Bear, is there
anything else we can do...

To get ready for Tutter's
Grandma?

Well, if you want you can go
weed the flower bed out

in front of the house...

Weeds? We love weeds!
Great idea, Bear!

C'mon, let's go!

Hey, maybe Ojo wants to help!

Why do I have a funny
feeling about this?

[laughing]

This is an exciting day.

Tutter's Grandma Flutter
is coming for a visit!

She's part of his family.

Yeah. Family.
But what is a family?

Have you ever wondered
about that? I sure have.

Well the truth is, families come
in all shapes, colors and sizes,

but they have few things
that they have in common.

For instance,
let me think about this...

Oh! For one thing families
live together!

And families have lots of fun!

[party music]

But most important,
families care about each other.

Yes, that's why
Tutter's so excited.

He grew up with his grandma.

She's part of his family!
Yeah, cool?

[laughing]

Well umm,

since everybody's
busy right now.

This might be a good time
to look for my friend Shadow!

Want to? Come on!

You know, if we sing
a special song together

and look real hard... maybe
she'll appear. Ready?

Hey, you old fuzzy Bear!
I'm right here!

Hi Shadow! It's so nice to see
you today.

So, what have you been up to?

I was just playing
leapfrog with the clouds!

That sounds like fun. Well,
Shadow, I was wondering,

do you have
a story for us today?

Why certainly, Bear! Just watch.

I am the world's fastest mouse

and I'm going to break
the record for clock running.

♪ The mouse ran up the clock ♪

[background music]

♪ The clock struck one ♪

[boing]

♪ The mouse fell down ♪

[gasping]

Hooray, I did it.
Let's do it again.

What a great story! Shadow,
I'm always so surprised

at all the wonderful
stories you know.

Well, when you're a shadow
like me and you fly about,

you get to hear lots
and lots of stories.

That must be great fun!

Well, I'm off - But when
you need another story,

just try and catch me!
Ha ha! Bye, Bear!

Hey, let's go see how
Tutter's doing! C'mon.

[guitar music]

Tutter? Tutter?
Have you seen Tutter?

[scream]

-Hi, Tutter!
-Is she here? Is she? No!

Tutter, Tutter, Tutter, it's
ok, it's just me. Bear.

Are you all right?

Me? Me! Yeah,
Bear. Yeah, I'm fine. Fine.

I just can't stop. Got
to keep cleaning Bear,

gotta keep cleaning.

But, Tutter, I'm sure
your grandma will understand...

Look Bear! Now I'm dirty!

So dirty! What will I do?

-Hey, Bear.
-Hey, Tutter.

Hey what happened to you guys?

How did you get so dirty?

Well we got all the
weeds out of the garden...

...and I got a tulip!

But what will Grandma Flutter
think?

She'll be here any
minute guys! Any minute!

And Grandma likes
everything neat!

Being neat is very important!

Tutter, being neat is important

but I think your grandma
cares most about seeing you.

But, you know, now
that you mention it,

I think we could
all use a scrub.

I know what that means.

for grandma!

I know she's gonna be here
any minute.

the way, you look great.

instead.

would stay with me

'till Grandma got here.

you got the date wrong?

You know, maybe my
Grandma's not coming after all.

[doorbell]

My fancy clothes!

Tutter, Tutter, Tutter
don't worry, it will be ok.

My flowers! The house!
No! Look at me, I'm all sweaty.

What'll we do, Bear?
What'll we do?

Well, Tutter, I think
we better answer the door.

-Do we have to?
-Yes.

[scream]

Grandma Flutter! Welcome
to the Big Blue House!

You must be Bear! It's
so nice to finally meet you.

I've heard so much
about you from Tutter.

But, where is that
wonderful grandson of mine?

He-he-here I am, Grandma...

Ooh, Hello, Tutter honey.

If I could just explain,
just explain... see...

See, see, see... we cleaned up
the whole house.

Even took a bath!

And we waited with flowers
and everything... we waited,

but then see, see, see...
Bear got this itchin',

this scritchin'

and then I got
a scritchin' too...

Yeah, yeah...
the Bear Cha-Cha-Cha.

You know about the Bear
Cha-Cha-Cha?

As long as there have
been bears and mice

they've been doing
the Cha-Cha-Cha together.

-Really?
-Now, Tutter...

Yes, Grandma.

I want you to do
something for me.

-What's that?
-Give your Grandma a hug!

Grandma!

I love you! But you're not mad

because the house
isn't all spic and span...

and my flowers got
all crumpled and

I'm all sweaty a...
and... and...?

Hush now, Tutter! I'm just happy
to see you and be near you

and meet your friends.

Besides, this Big Blue House
looks pretty spic

and span to me.

Why thank you, Grandma Flutter.

Besides, there's
nothin' wrong with a

good Cha-cha-cha now and again.

I myself was the Mouse
Cha-cha-cha champion

back in the old days!

You? You like the Cha-cha-cha!

Why wouldn't she?
Everyone loves to Cha-Cha-Cha.

In fact, I'm feeling
that scritchin,

I'm feelin' that itchin'...

[screaming]
[screaming]

I'll be right there,
Tutter sweetie! Hi, Bear!

Hi, Grandma Flutter.

Little Tutter is not
used to keeping up

with the likes of
his οl' grandma!

I could Cha-cha-cha
all night long!

You can certainly out
Cha-cha-cha me!

Well, don't sell
yourself short Bear honey.

You move pretty well
for such a big fella.

[laughing]

Grandma Flutter, it's so nice
to have you finally here.

Tutter was so excited.
You know, he loves you a lot.

Aw well Bear, you know,
he cares a lot about you, too.

He told me you were
his very best friend.

-Really? He said that?
-Yep. He looks up to you, Bear.

-Really?
-Of course he does!

Because you're so big,
so big! Ha ha!

[laughing]

He has to look up!

[laughing]

But really, he thinks a lot
of you, Bear, an awful lot.

Well, I guess I'd better
turn in, though.

Even a partyin' little mouse
like me has to sleep some time.

[laughing]

Wow, what a day. Wait 'till
Luna hears about this! Come on.

[soft guitar music]

There she is! Hey Luna!

Hello, Bear.

Luna, you'll never
guess what happened

in the Big Blue House today!

Well, whatever it was,

there was certainly a lot of
Cha-cha-cha-ing going on.

You could hear that?

Everyone across the valley
heard it, Bear!

Well, Luna, we sure had fun.

I finally found
someone who likes

to Cha-Cha-Cha as much as I do.

-Really?
-Yep... Grandma Flutter.

She came for a visit.

Tutter's Grandma came
for a visit? That's wonderful.

It can be so much fun
when family gets together.

Yeah. Tutter was so funny.

He was worried about what
his Grandma would think.

We had to clean up the house,
take a bath...

[laughing]

But he found out
that his grandma...

Loved him no matter what.

Yeah! How'd you know?

That's the great thing
about family, Bear.

They always love you,
no matter what.

Wow. That's true, Luna.

And, Bear?

I must say that you
and your friends

make a wonderful
little family too...

a family of friends.

Wow, Luna, I never
thought about it that way.

I guess there are all kinds
of ways to be a family.

Yes, there are.

Well, I'd better
be getting back.

Time and tide wait for
no moon, you know...

[laughing]
