Hey, everybody. It's me, Mickey Mouse.

Say, you wanna come inside my clubhouse?

Well, all right.

Let's go.

Ah, I almost forgot.

To make the clubhouse appear,
we get to say the magic words:

It's The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Ha, ha!

[MICKEY READS ON-SCREEN TEXT]

Welcome to the clubhouse.

You're just in time.

Today we're having
an Artsy Arts and Crafts Show.

[PLUTO BARKS]

[GRUNTING]

Hiya, Pluto.

Oh, what a swell painting.

[BARKS]

Hmm, I wonder what everyone else
is gonna make

for the Artsy Arts and Crafts show.

[DOORBELL CHIMES]

Hiya, Mickey. Howdy, Pluto.

Hiya, Goofy.

It sure is a pretty day for the art show.

Sure is. Say, what are you making?

Well, uh, hmm.

Uh, I've never made any kind
of art before.

I don't know how.

So I guess I'm not putting anything
in the show.

[PLUTO WHIMPERS]

Aw, don't worry, Goofy.

I bet all our friends would be glad
to help you.

Will you help Goofy make something
for the Artsy Arts and Crafts show?

You will? Thanks.

Gosh, this'll be fun.

You betcha.

We'll help you make something
you can be proud of.

Before we start,
we're gonna need some Mouseketools.

MICKEY:
A pogo sick.

-[SPRING BOUNCES]
-[CHUCKLES] Bouncy.

A cup and saucer. Ooh.

A record player.

It spins and makes music.

And the Mystery Mouseketool.

That's a surprise tool
that can help us later.

♪ Toodles has the tools
The Mouseketools ♪

♪ So when we need 'em ♪

♪ Toodles will bring 'em ♪

♪ He's here for me-dles and you-dles ♪

[CHUCKLES]

Now, let's see
what everyone else is making

for the Artsy Arts and Crafts Show.

[BARKS]

[PANTING]
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[DAISY HUMMING]

-Hiya, Daisy.
-Oh!

-Oh!
-Gotcha.

Sorry, we didn't mean to startle you.

Oh, that's okay.
It's just that when I'm painting,

I'm in a world of my own.

Gosh, Daisy, your painting is beautiful.

I think it's picture-perfect.

I'm glad you like it, Mickey.

But I'm not quite finished with it.

You see, I have one little problem.

I don't have any bright green paint.

And green's the color
I need to paint the leaves.

GOOFY: Then how are you gonna finish
your painting?

Well, I'm going to make some green paint

by mixing two other colors.

No. That can't possibly be possible.

Uh, can it?

Sure, it can. I'll show you.

Do you know what colors
I need to mix together

to make green paint?

I can make green paint

by mixing blue paint and yellow paint.

Really? This I gotta see.

I'll just add equal amounts
of blue and yellow paint

to this empty jar.

First I'll put in the blue...

and then the yellow.

The two colors will mix together
and become green.

Hmm. Looks like you need something

that will give that jar
a really good shake.

This is a job for a Mouseke-tune-up.

Uh, a Mouseke-tutu?

You mean a Mouseketool.

Everybody say "Oh, Toodles!"

DAISY & GOOFY:
Oh, Toodles!

[RINGS]

MICKEY:
Let's see.

We got a pogo stick, a cup and saucer,

a record player
and the Mystery Mouseketool.

Which one can help us shake the jar
up and down

and really mix the paint?

GOOFY:
I know.

Just give me that pogo stick

and I'll give the paint
a really good shaking.

MICKEY:
The pogo stick it is.

We got ears. Say "Cheers."

[RINGS]

[CHUCKLES] That ought to hold the jar.

Now it's time to get shaking.

-Whoa.
-Oh, careful, Goof.

I'm always careful, Mickey.

Ta-da! That ought to do it.

Wow. That was some pogo-sticking.

[GASPS] It worked.

The blue and yellow paint mixed together
and they made green.

Thank you, Goofy.

I can finish my painting now.

Ooh, what a nice bright green.

GOOFY:
Hyuck. That looks like fun.

Now that I know how it's done,

maybe I should try doing a painting
for the Artsy Arts and Crafts Show.

Oh. That's a great idea.

Why, thanks. Don't mind if I do.

If it's okay with you, Daisy,

I'm gonna paint a picture
of the same pretty flowers too.

Oh, please do.

I just love daisies.

[SIGHS]

Stand back. I'm painting a painting.

[PAINT SPLASHING]

[GRUNTING]

[SPLASHING CONTINUES]

I'm done.

I guess. What do you think?

Ooh! Goofy, it's so colorful.

Oh. But it doesn't look a thing
like your painting, Daisy.

That's okay, Goofy.

When it comes to making a painting,
there's no right or wrong.

But it didn't turn out the way I expected.

Do you think I could try my hand
at some other art thingy?

Sure thingy, Goof.

Let's go see Minnie and Donald.
They're making clay pots.

Clay pots? Pot diggety! [CHUCKLES]

Just remember, Goofy...

Let's make art.

-BOTH: Hiya, Minnie.
-Hiya, boys.

Gee, that looks like fun.

How does it work?

This is called a potter's wheel, Goofy.

It spins around and around.

Now, to make a pot,

you start with a lump of soft clay
like this.

Then you put the clay
right in the middle of the wheel. See?

And while the clay is spinning,
you shape it with your hands.

GOOFY:
Ahh! Would you lookie there?

It's turning into a pot.

Uh-huh. A nice round pot.

Wow, Minnie. You sure are talented.

Let me try it.

Watch this.

What shaped pot are you
going to make, Donald?

Hmm. How's about a cylinder?

Sounds good.

Ah.

DONALD:
A cylinder. Yeah.

-What?
-GOOFY: Hmm.

Is Donald's pot shaped like a cylinder?

Nope. What shape is it?

It's got triangles for sides,
so it's a pyramid.

Aw, let me do it again.

MICKEY:
Is this a cylinder?

Nope, that isn't a cylinder either.

What shape is it?

Well, it has square sides, so it's a cube.

Aw, phooey.

MICKEY:
Is this pot cylinder-shaped?

Yep. [CHUCKLES] It sure is.

-I did it! Ha!
-Yay!

Way to go, Donald.

I gotta try
making one of those pots myself.

Here you go.

Now, easy does it.

You know me, Donald. Easy squeezy.

[YELLING]

[SCREAMS]

[THUD]

GOOFY: I'm okay!

MINNIE:
Oh, no! The potter's wheel.

-Are you okay, Goof?
-Never better.

But I'm sorry
about the wheel that got away.

That's okay. It was an accident.

Oh, dear.

How are we going to make pots now?

We need something to spin the clay on.

What we need is a Mouseketool.

Everybody say "Oh, Toodles!"

ALL:
Oh, Toodles!

[RINGING]

MICKEY:
We have a cup and saucer,

a record player
and the Mystery Mouseketool.

MINNIE:
Which one can we use to spin the clay

so we can make pots?

GOOFY: Yeah. A record player
spins round and round.

MINNIE:
Ooh. It sure does.

Let's try it.

MICKEY:
We got ears. Say "Cheers."

[JAZZ MUSIC PLAYING]

There it goes.
It spins just like the potter's wheel.

There you go, Goofy.

I'm gonna make a nice round pot.

Like Minnie's.

[CHUCKLES] It's squishy.

That's right.

Gently shape the clay
with your hands as it spins.

That ought to do it. Ta-da!

Huh? Oh.

My pot didn't turn out
anything like Minnie's.

But that's okay, Goofy.

Your pot's one-of-a-kind.

Maybe so, but I'm not sure my pot is right

for the Artsy Arts and Crafts Show.

Maybe I ought to try something else.

Well, then I'll show you
what I'm going to do for the show.

Remember, Goof,

there's no right or wrong
when it comes to making art.

Come on, everybody, let's all sing.

♪ Making sure that you have fun ♪

♪ Is the most important part ♪

BOTH:
Let's make art.

I'm going to do a drawing
of myself for the art show.

I'll start with simple shapes.

I like simple.

The first thing I do is look in the mirror

and decide what the parts of my face
are shaped like.

Wanna help me?

Good.

What shape is my head?

That's right.
My head is shaped like a circle.

Now, what shape are my ears?

-GOOFY: Circles.
-Right. They're circles too.

All I have to do is make three circles,

one big one for my face

and two smaller ones for my ears.

Then I'll have a drawing of me.

Whoops. Drawing circles is tricky.

It would be nice to have something
to help me trace a circle.

-Let's say...
-Oh, Toodles!

[RINGING]

MICKEY:
Let's see.

Do we have anything
that can help us draw circles?

GOOFY:
Let me see here.

A cup and saucer are round like circles.

Do you think we can use a cup and saucer
to trace a circle?

Yippee!

Looks like we can use them
to trace circles.

MICKEY:
Let's give it a try.

We got ears. Say "Cheers."

[RINGS]

Ooh. This should make a great circle.

I'll just turn the saucer over

and run my pencil around the edge.

There's the shape of my head.

Now I'll use the cup to draw the ears.

There's one ear...

and there's the other.

And now I've done the basic outlines.

Once you have the big shapes,
the details fall in place.

And there you have it.

A drawing of, [CHUCKLES] well, me.

Wow. I gotta do a drawing of me.

Let me see here.

First I start with basic shapes.

[HUMS]

My head is round.

And my teeth
are rectangley-tangles. [CHUCKLES]

[HUMS]

Hmm. My nose is oval-shaped,
like an olive.

And my hat is shaped...

like my hat. [CHUCKLES]

[HUMMING]

[CHUCKLES]

Ooh. Hold my calls. I'm all tied up.

-Ta-da!
-Oh, wow!

Hmm.

[PAPER TEARS]

My drawing doesn't look like me
the way yours looks like you.

That's okay, Goofy. Like I said...

I don't know.

I'm having a great time
painting and drawing and all,

but no matter what I try to do,
it all turns out kind of, well, goofy.

[DOORBELL CHIMES]

Attention, everyone.

The Artsy Arts and Crafts Show
is about to begin.

I made a hat.

Don't you just adore it?
I've named it Fromage.

That's French for "cheese," you know.

Hurry, let's get our artwork on display
so everyone can enjoy it.

DAISY: Oh, I can hardly wait.
I'm so excited to see the art.

-Oh, isn't this wonderful?
-MINNIE: Oh, it's so much fun.

Oh, why, thank you.

Uh, careful with that.

[CLEARS THROAT]

♪ Here's your chance to take a peek ♪

♪ At something that is quite unique ♪

♪ We're showing you our works of art ♪

♪ Each made by hand
Straight from the heart ♪

Ah, c'est magnifique.

Brilliant work, everyone.
Simply brilliant.

Goofy, where's your artwork?

I'm not sure I have anything good enough
to put in the show, Clarabelle.

I tried to do a painting like Daisy's

and a pot like Minnie's.

I even tried to do a drawing
like Mickey's,

but nothing turned out
like I expected. See?

Hmm.

Mmm.

Goofy. Your artwork is...

"moo-arvelous."

-It is?
-It's so colorful.

And different. And lots of fun.

Why, it's just like the artist himself.

You mean me?

Yes, I do.

Your art is pure Goofy.

We must put it in a place of honor.

What? Is there no room
for Goofy's masterpiece?

What we need is a Mouseketool.

Everybody say--

Allow me.

[CLEARS THROAT]

Oh, Toodles!

[RINGS]

MICKEY:
Well, what do you know?

Only the Mystery Mouseketool is left.

Everybody say "Mystery Mouseketool."

ALL:
Mystery Mouseketool.

MICKEY:
What's today's Mystery Mouseketool?

Oh, boy. Three building blocks.

We can stack them up
and use them like a table.

DONALD:
Good idea.

MICKEY:
We picked all our Mouseketools.

Say "Super cheers."

[RINGS]

Perfection.

Building blocks make a fine pedestal.

Now everyone can admire Goofy's genius.

-DONALD: Ooh. Wow.
-MINNIE: Oh, my.

-MICKEY: Wow.
-MINNIE: How original.

-How wonderful.
-Moo-la-la.

Well, what do you know?

I'm an artiste. [CHUCKLES]
Thanks, everybody.

You all really showed me
how much fun it is making art.

And thank you too.

Your help was an inspiration.

What a picture-perfect hot-dog day.

How about we celebrate
with a hot-dog dance?

[TOOTING]
