Guess what I have?

[Mom and Crystal]: What is it?

[gasps] Tickets?!

[excited meowing]

[giggling] Oh, yeah.

We got... Some tickets...

[record scratch]

Uh... what are the tickets for?

They are for the ice skating rink, Mija.

We're going ice skating?

Like we used to in Wisconsin?!

On a frozen pond?! For the whole entire day?!

Well, this will be inside.

And I'd say a half a day, tops.

But yes. With Tía watching Iggy,

the rest of us are off to the ice rink!

Sometimes, your family likes to ice skate in the kitchen!

Oh, and guess what else, campeona?

Today at the ice rink,

there will be a very special guest.

[gasps] [Rosie]: The Purple Knight?!

My most favorite knight in the whole wide world?!

Ha! That's the one!

Well, I say we all get ready to go!

Who's excited to go ice skating? I am! Woo!

[laughing] La-la-la-la-la!

I can't wait to go ice skating with the Purple Knight!

I wonder what it will be like?

I've gotta know!

What will it be like to ice skate

with the Purple Knight?

[shivering]

Uh, Rosie?

Y-yes?

I can't help noticing... you seem cold.

Maybe I'm a teensy weensy, itty-bitty cold.

Rosie, I know you want to wear your purple cape,

but sometimes, you've got to adapt.

[shivering]: What's adapt?

Well, when you adapt,

you make changes to make yourself more comfortable.

Like... wearing a red puffy coat

instead of a purple cape when it's cold.

So...?

No thanks.

I still want to wear my cape

and be just like the Purple Knight!

Purple Knight Rosie is entering the ice!

Rosie's Rule:

If you want to go ice skating,

you need to put your ice skates on!

It looks like you're pretty cold.

I really want to wear my cape

just like the Purple Knight!

Hmm. Maybe if you skate faster,

you'll warm up, and then you won't be cold.

[gasps] That's a terrifical idea!

[grunting]

Sometimes you go so fast,

you stop going at all.

And... now I'm cold again.

[shivering]

So, Rosie,

now do you want to wear your toasty warm

red puffy coat?!

No thanks!

[announcer over speaker]: Ladies and gentlemen,

the Purple Knight has arrived at the ice rink!

She's just...

parking her horse,

and then she'll be right in!

[shivering]

I need to call Abuela.

[chiming]

[Rosie]: i¡Hola Abuela!

i¡Hola, mi niña!

I'm on a roller coaster at the Aztlan Amusement Park

with Lili and Vero!

Ooh, ooh, ooh! Tell me when it's over!

[laughing] ¿Qué pasa?

We're ice skating with the Purple Knight

and I want to wear my purple cape.

But I'm so cold.

Ay, ya veo. Mira, Rosalía,

maybe you can skate really fast.

I already tried that.

Pull the cape over your shoulders?

Tried that too.

Drink something warm?

Tried that...

[shivering]

Ugh! I really wanted to wear my purple cape

and skate with the Purple Knight,

but now I'm too cold to skate at all and...

I need to flop.

Too cold to flop here!

[grunting]

[sighs]

Breathe in... [inhaling]

Breathe out... [exhaling]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out.

i¡Vamos a ver!

[children laughing, cheering]

Mom? I'd like my coat now, please!

- You would? - Uh-huh.

If I adapt and wear my puffy red coat...

then I'll be warm enough to skate with The Purple Knight!

And I really want to do that.

One red puffy coat coming up!

[upbeat music]

I'm warm and toasty

and I'm coming to skate with The Purple Knight!

[laughing]

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! - Hey. Where's she going?

[shivering] The Purple Knight didn't realize

it was going to be so cold!

I need...

My puffy Purple Knight coat!

Mama Macaroni!

The Purple Knight is wearing a coat too!

I sure am!

Even Royal Knights need to adapt

when they're c-c-c-cold!

[giggles]

that makes you feel more comfy.

[Papá]: Snacks, water, blankets, sunscreen.

Niños. Cuidado, please. I'm still packing up.

[confused meow]

We are going to the desert to see...

a meteor shower!

What's a meteor shower?

I dunno. [confused meow]

[Papá]: A meteor shower is an amazing event,

when space rocks pass by the Earth

and it looks like a shower of stars!

Wow-mazing!

It is wowmazing.

So we should finish packing up so we can go!

[excited squeal]

I've never seen a meteor shower before.

I wonder what it will be like.

I've gotta know!

[door bell rings]

[Rosie and Iggy]: Javi!

[chuckles] Hola.

Guess what, Javi?

We're going to the desert to see a meteor shower!

I know! And guess what else?

I'm coming with you!

Rosie's Rule:

Sometimes you tell your primo news,

and he tells you news right back!

[Papá]: Okay, we are all ready to go!

¿Lixtos calixtos?

[together]: i¡Lixtos!

Bye, Gatita.

I'll tell you all about the meteor shower!

[meowing]

Welcome to the desert!

[gasps] Whoa!

[Rosie]: Whoa, look at the ginormous mountains!

Aw, and this teeny tiny cactus!

[Iggy]: Wow!

Iggy find baby dino!

That's a lizard, Iggy.

Hola, lizard! I Iggy!

Hey! Where you going?

Maybe he's going to find the perfect spot

to watch the meteor shower.

Primo, we need to find the perfect spot

for the meteor shower too!

[gasps] And I think I found it!

This great big, round purpley rock!

It is big!

And so smooth.

Don't forget purpley.

And purpley too!

Yep. We found the perfect spot

and we're ready for the meteor shower!

Let the meteor shower... begin!

[birds, insects chirping]

Do you see a meteor shower?

I really don't.

That's because it needs to be really dark

to see the meteor shower.

So we won't see it until nighttime.

Well, that's new information!

Well, what are we gonna do until nighttime?

I say we sit on our perfect spot and wait.

[clock ticking]

[insects chirping]

Rosie's Rule:

Sometimes waiting is very hard.

[Mom]: Uh, you okay, kiddos?

Just waiting for nighttime, Mom!

On this very... not comfy rock.

It's just a little too rocky.

You know, you can always move to another spot.

[gasps] Uh-uh!

We can't move.

This is our perfect spot to watch the meteor shower.

Well, if it's not comfy,

you may need to do something to adapt.

That's a supertastical idea! We'll adapt!

How do we do that?

You can make changes to your spot

to make it more comfy.

This blanket is so soft and squishy.

If we put it on the rock,

it will be a lot more comfy to sit on.

[Papá]: Wow! Who knew there are about

meteor showers every year?!

Papá, can we use this blanket?

We need it for our perfect spot.

Claro que sí. It's all yours.

[Rosie and Javi]: i¡Gracias!

[both]: Ah...

Now the rock is soft and comfy.

Our perfect spot is even more perfect now!

Except now it's kind of hot.

It is hot.

It's gonna be nighttime any minute.

Still a few hours until nighttime!

We're at the desert to watch the meteor shower,

but it's very hot and sunny.

[gasps]

It's the perfect spot!

Pues, sometimes when it's really sunny outside,

I use an umbrella to block the sun.

i¡Buena idea, Abuela!

Oh, I forgot to add red,

my favorite color.

[both]: i¡Ciao bacalao!

Let's get an umbrella!

We don't have an umbrella.

What are we gonna do now?

Hmm... [gasps]

We can make one! But we're gonna need some help.

[Rosie]: Hi, Crystal.

So, we're wondering...

will you help us make an umbrella

for our perfect spot?

Me? Make an umbrella?

We're gonna need some paper plates, a big stick,

and some lip balm.

Lip balm?

Yep, the desert heat makes my lips dry.

[Rosie]: Ah, the perfect umbrella for the perfect spot.

Primo, guess what?

We just did some more adapting!

Oh, yeah!

We put up the umbrella to block the sun!

And now our spot is perfect again!

[Rosie]: i¡Mira! The sun is setting!

That means it'll be dark soon.

[both]: Meteor shower time!

[shivering]

It was hot before, but now it's windy and cold!

i¡Sí! I wish we had a blanket.

We do have a blanket!

But we're sitting on it!

[grunting]

[sighs] This isn't working.

[Mom shivering]

[Mom]: You know, this wind is making me chilly too.

[shivering]

- Same. - Iggy too.

Me too.

Maybe we should watch the meteor shower from the car?

The car?! Ugh...

We've been waiting and waiting,

and now it's time for the meteor shower,

but it's so cold and windy and...

I need to flop.

Then we sprinkle it with water.

now our flower will grow!

[clock ticking]

Ugh.

What's wrong, Iggy?

Flowa not growing!

It takes time for a flower to grow.

It won't grow right away.

Aww. Iggy really want to grow flowa.

[gasps] I have an idea!

[Rosie]: ¿Listo, Iggy?

Time to plant...

the Rosie flower!

The fastest-growing flower in the world!

Yay!

Okay, plant me in the ground!

Pwant, pwant, pwant! [giggles]

Now... cover me with dirt!

[giggles]

[giggling]
