Alrighty, so we have the tables all set up?

Wonderful!

-Zoom! -Ah!

-Huh? -I'm Super Rosie!

I go on adventures and save the day!

Gotta go! A flying super kid just showed up.

[beeps]

-Look, Gatita. -[meowing]

It's... da-da-da daa!

[Rosie]: Super Mom!

That's me!

Super Iggy! And Super Lote!

Rosie's Rule:

Even Lote can be a hero and save the day!

[giggling]

[all]: Zoom, zoom!

[doorbell ringing]

[gasps] Someone's at the door.

I hope it's not a stomping dinosaur!

Oh no! A stomping dinosaur?!

-[giggling] -[meowing]

Nope! It's just Tía and Javi.

i¡Hola, familia!

-Hola, Tía. -[barking]

[both gasp]

[Rosie]: Benito!

[playful barking]

[startled meowing]

-Aw, it's okay, Gatita. -[meowing]

Benito is the sweetest puppy ever.

[Iggy]: Tita!

Tía, did you bring Benito to play?

No, mija.

I'm here because I have to take Javi to the dentist,

but my dog-sitter cancelled.

And Benito can't stay home by himself

'cause he's just a puppy.

-[barking] -[startled meowing]

[giggling]

So you need someone to be Benito's dog-sitter.

Exacto.

Can you do it, Liz? ¿Por favor?

Of course I can dog-sit this cutie little puppy!

-[barking] -[phone ringing]

Sorry, gotta take this!

Big event at the bookstore tonight.

-Hello? -[whining]

-Yes, hi! -[barking]

Oops, careful, Benito! Yes, sorry, I'm here.

Don't do that!

No, no, no, not you. [chuckles]

Uh... Maybe I should ask somebody else?

Ooh, ooh! I can be Benito's dog sitter.

You, Rosie? Are you sure?

It's a big job to take care of a puppy.

You need to have energy...

If it's okay with your mom, you can be Benito's dog-sitter.

I'm Rosie the dog-sitter!

Now I just need to figure out one thing.

What does a dog-sitter do?

I've gotta know!

I wonder... What does a dog-sitter do?

Maybe...

♪ I'll start by feeding him a bottle full of milk ♪

♪ I'll brush his teeth till they're sparkly clean ♪

♪ Read him a story and rock him to sleep ♪

That would be supertastical.

So what does a dog-sitter do?

Well, you need to play with Benito,

give him food, and take him for a walk.

Those are your tasks.

Play, food, walk. Got it!

Here is Benito's backpack.

Dogs have backpacks?

Well that's new information!

Iggy play!

Uh-uh-uh, Iggy. This is for Benito.

You play with Lote.

Let's play, Lote!

i¡Muchas gracias, Rosie! Adiós, Benito.

-[Tía]: i¡Te portas bien! -[barking]

i¡Adiós, prima!

[phone ringing]

I'll be right over here if you need anything,

Rosie Posie.

Okay, Benito.

What was the first task Tía said I should do?

[barking]

[gasps] Play!

[barking]

Well, that's easy peasy. I love to play!

Do you like hide-and-seek?

[confused vocalizing]

That sounds like a yes.

Okay, you count and I'll hide!

[giggling]

-[barking] -Huh?

Benito, you have to let me hide first,

then you find me.

How about I count and you hide?

Two...

Three...

Huh? Go hide, Benito. Go on.

[confused vocalizing, whining]

I don't think you like hide-and-seek.

Hmm, maybe we should play something else.

[gasps] I've got it!

It's... Super Rosie!

And Super Benito!

[growling]

We're ready to save the day!

Let's zoom.

-[giggling] -[barking]

Benito, you're supposed to wear your cape, not chase it.

[barking]

[irritated meowing]

[whining]

I guess you don't like

playing Super Rosie either.

I can feed you! That's another task!

Mom, I'm getting a treat for Benito!

[Mom]: Okay, Rosie Posie!

How about some of Gatita's food?

[confused meowing]

It's okay, Gatita.

I'll give you some too.

[meowing]

Oh, no, no, no! Benito can't have that.

Cat food is for cats, not cutie puppies.

[sighs] I guess I don't have food for you either.

Hmm...

Play, food...

Walk!

Mom, I'm taking Benito for a walk in the backyard!

[Mom]: Okay, Rosie Posie!

-Come on, Benito! -[barking]

[birds chirping]

[contented sighing]

What a supertastical day for a walk.

So sunny, so breezy, so--

Hey! Slow down, Benito!

[barking]

i¡Benito, espera! Watch out for the--

[barking]

[panting]

Mmm!

...dirt.

[whining]

Now there's dirt everywhere! [groaning]

I thought I could be a supertastical dog-sitter

but nothing is working and...

I need to flop.

Breathe in... [inhaling]

Breathe out... [exhaling]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out.

i¡Vamos a ver!

[gasps] I know who can help me!

Mom, I'm calling Abuela!

-[Mom]: Okay! -[beeps]

-[Rosie]: i¡Hola, Abuela! -Hola, mi niña.

Mira, I'm picking cilantro from my garden for my soup.

[sniffing] Mmm-mm-mm.

¿Qué pasa?

I'm taking care of Benito

and I've tried to do all my tasks

but they're not working!

Ya veo.

Rosalía, do you know what helps me to do my tasks

when I'm working in my garden?

My gardening supplies!

My gloves, my shovel,

even my hat to keep the sun out of my eyes.

So, your supplies help you do your tasks?

i¡Así es! Ay, I better get to my soup.

i¡Adiós granito de arroz!

i¡Ciao bacalao!

[beeps]

Did you hear that, Benito?

I need supplies to help me do my task.

But where am I gonna get those?!

[barking]

[excited barking]

What is it, Benito?

Wait a secamadoodle.

Does your backpack have the supplies I need?

[excited barking]

[panting]

[gasps] It's a squeaky toy.

Doggie treats!

And a leash!

This backpack has the supplies I need!

I mean, Benito needs!

I mean, we both need! [giggling]

[playful barking]

[Rosie]: He's playing with his toy!

i¡Bien hecho, Benito!

[giggling]

[panting]

-[giggling] -[barking]

[Rosie]: Here's your doggie kibble!

Much better than kitty cat food.

Isn't this a nice walk, Benito?

Now this looks like one very happy little puppy!

He is! Because I used all of my dog-sitter supplies

to take care of him!

[barking]

We had a supertastical time together!

[barking]

Oh, and this is for you.

i¡Sí! That's one more thing about a job.

You get money for doing it!

Mama Macaroni! Money for my piggy bank!

Rosie's Rule:

Supplies help people do their jobs.

[excited barking]

And sometimes they can even help

perritos and gatitas become friends!

Chef Rosie!

[startled meowing]

[Rosie]: No. Uh...

Uh, nope. Not here. Not here! Where is it?

[Rosie]: Ah-ha! There it is!

[grunting with effort]

¿Qué pasa, calabaza?

Nada, empanada.

-I'm ready! -Ready for what?

We're going to Tía's restaurant for lunch today!

I can't wait to eat Tía's yummy-in-my-tummy-food!

Iggy want sasa!

Yes, salsa! And gorditas and empanadas...

[gasps] Tía's famous tres leches cake!

We're going! To Tía's restaurant!

Empanadas! Tres leches!

Rosie, we're not going to Tía's restaurant today.

What?! But that's what Crystal told me!

Because that's what Iggy told me!

-Tita told Iggy! -[confused meowing]

I don't think Gatita told you that, Iggy.

No.

-Can we still go, Papá? -I'm afraid not.

Tía's restaurant is closed today because they're painting.

Lo siento, mija.

Aww...

I really wanted Tía's dee-yummy food.

Iggy want sasa.

Maybe I can be a chef and cook yummy food.

Just like Tía!

Welcome to my restaurant!

I'm Chef Rosie.

[giggling] I Chef Iggy!

Whoa!

Rosie's Rule:

If you're wearing a big poofy chef's hat,

spin very slowly.

[giggling]

Iggy, you know what a chef does, right?

Yes!

-No. -A chef cooks food, then...

I think that's pretty much it.

So we need to figure out what I should cook in my restaurant.

I've gotta know!

♪ And I just can't let it go

Whoa!

What should I cook?

Maybe...

♪ I'll stir a pot of mole with a giant spoon ♪

♪ Then I'll bake a loaf of bread ♪

♪ I'll make blueberry jam burritos and beets ♪

♪ Invite everyone to my Chef Rosie feast ♪

That would be supertastical.

Hmm...

[gasps] I know what we can make!

Tostadas!

Iggy love tadas!

Chef Rosie is ready to get cooking!

[Iggy giggling]

[gasps] Mama Macaroni!

We don't have any of the things to make tostadas!

Uh-oh.

Hmm. [gasps] I bet Tía will know what to do.

Be right back, Iggy.

Bye, Mom! I'm gonna ask Tia what to do about the tostadas!

Okay...

What's this?

I Chef Iggy!

You're making a restaurant?

i¡No me digas!

i¡Sí! Rosie's Tostada Restaurant.

But I don't have anything to make the tostadas with!

So you need ingredients.

No, I need stuff to make my tostadas.

[chuckles] Those are called ingredients!

Well that's new information!

Rosie's Rule:

A chef needs to get ingredients before she cooks.

Or there's nothing to cook!

So where do I get my ingredients?

Right here at Tía's Mercado!

Otherwise known as my kitchen.

[giggling]

Let's see what I have here.

Ooh! Tostada shells, cotija cheese,

refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes,

and salsa!

[Rosie grunting]

Rosalía, do you need some help?

Nope. Uh, can you just fix my hat though?

[giggling]

[Rosie]: Okay, Iggy. It's tostada time!

Yum, yum, yum, yum!

Put the tostada on the bottom.

Bottom.

Spread the refried beans.

Beans.

Sprinkle the cotija cheese.

Spwinkle, spwinkle!

And now, the toppings.

Lettuce, tomato,

and my Chef Rosie special ingredient,

green olives!

-Ladies and gentlemen -[meowing]

and all the other kinds of people in this family...

Chef Rosie's Tostada Restaurant is open!

Hello?

What do we do now?

We made the tostada,

but now there's no one here to eat it!

[gasps] I know who can help!

[giggling]

[beeps]

-i¡Bravo! -[clapping]

Hola, mis niños.

-i¡Hola, Abuela! -i¡Buela!

I'm at La Alameda watching a dance festival.

¿Qué pasa?

I'm Chef Rosie and this is Chef Iggy.

We made a dee-yummy tostada.

But no one is coming to my restaurant!

i¡Ya veo! Mira, Rosalía.

I got this beautiful flyer

about the baile folklórico today.

That's how I knew to come here.

So maybe if I make a flyer,

people will come to my restaurant.

i¡Exacto!

[gasps] The next dance is starting.

i¡Adiós granitos de arroz!

[both]: i¡Ciao bacalao!

Come on, Iggy! We have to make flyers

so everyone knows about Rosie's Restaurant!

[Rosie]: There!

Shh!

Oh!

[giggling]

[bright music]

Huh.

[Rosie and Iggy giggling]

-Whoa! Nice. -[giggling]

Now people will definitely come to our restaurant!

Oh, hello.

Is this Rosie's Tostada Restaurant?

Yeah, it's right here!

I mean, yes, it is my restaurant.

I am the chef of the restaurant. Chef Rosie.

I Chef Iggy. And dis Chef Lote.

Welcome, please take a seat!

-Wow! -What service!

[giggling]

[Rosie]: May I take your order?

Well, I suppose I'll have, um...

A tostada!

-Yo también. -Make that three!

[Rosie]: Three tostadas coming up!

Tray, please!

Oh no. This tray is messy.

Uh-oh.

Somebody needs to wash it so we can make more tostadas!

[both]: Hmm.

I think that somebody is us.

I guess if you're a chef you also have to wash trays

so you can cook more food!

Ah!

Oops. Let me help you, Chef Iggy.

There!

[sighs] Okay.

Now we can make the tostada--

-[knocking] -Javi?

i¡Hola! Mamá told me there were tostadas.

Can I have one?

Um, yes. Have a seat, Javi.

i¡Muy bien!

OÓrale, I have to make a lot of tostadas now.

-[knocking] -[gasps]

Hi, we heard about the restaurant.

What's the best thing on the menu?

Well, we only have tostadas.

Then I'll have one of those, please!

One for me, too!

[Crystal]: Ooh, I can't wait! [Mom]: This is fun!

[Jun]: Excuse me.

[Papá]: Everyone has a napkin? [Mom]: Ah, I love this.

[guests chattering]

Now we have more tostadas to make!

So many tadas!

Okay, six tostadas. Here we go!

First, the tostada shells.

One, two, three, four, fi--

Hey! Where'd the last shell go?

[crunching] Yum, yum, yum!

Iggy! Did you eat one of our ingredients?!

Lote did it.

Ugh! I have so many customers, my kitchen is a mess,

and the other chef just ate my ingredients!

I need to flop.

Breathe in... [inhaling]

Breathe out... [exhaling]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out!

i¡Vamos a ver!

Hola, Chef Rosie. How's your restaurant going?

-Not great, Tía. -Oh boy.

I thought being a chef was cooking

and wearing a poofy hat.

But it's also getting the ingredients

and finding customers and washing dishes, too!

Es verdad, Rosalía.

Being a chef is much more than just one thing.

Although, I really like the poofy hat.

[giggling]

How about, just for today, I'll be your helper, Chef Rosie.

We'll serve these hungry customers in no time!

Yay! Woo-hoo! I'm ready, Tía!

Uh-oh.

But Iggy ate one tostada shell.

-[crunching] -Hmm!

Two tada shells.

That's one more thing a chef does,

she always brings extra ingredients.

-Woo-hoo! -Yay!

He's a chef and he's my cutie little brother.

And a tostada-eater!

[giggling]

Just roll the ball and try to get it into the basket.

Now it's time for the next level.

Ooh... [grunting]

Not yet, Iggy!

Now you're ready for

the last and trickiest level of all!

[Rosie]: Ta-da!

Dat look hard.

You can do it, Iggy! I believe in you.

i¡Sí puedes!

Uh... Ah!

i¡Felicidades! You won the game!

i¡OÓrale!

Now, pick a prize.

Iggy pick... dis prize!

And dis prize is for Tita!

[meowing]

[giggles] So what do you wanna do now, Iggy?
