The seeds willgrow into a special treecalled a Mexican lime tree.

They just don't walkaround and talk like we do.

Now that the little seedhas what he needs to grow,

I can have a leaf snack break.

-He's a two-toedsloth Zoboo, and he loveseating green creatures.

He eats leaves and bark.

-He moves so slow.

Heh, that givesmy mind an idea. That'swhat I'll call you. Slow.

Mangatsika! There's anotherone. I'll call him Slower.

-Good name Zoboo, that'sbecause sloths take their time.

They just movearound very slowly.

The big reason for this,is that they have to conserve

energy to digestall the leaves they eat.

-Well green is a yummycolour isn't it! Dig in.

-Easy guys,easy. I need those leaves,that where I make my food.

-The trees are alive!

-We're always alive. Butwe need those leaves so we can

turn soil, sunlightand water into food thatmakes us grow, like that,

only we grow much slower.

-Wow, so that's how you do it.

But we need yourleaves to grow too.

Well eh, how about if, Slowand I, we eat a few leaves here

and then we move on to atree over there; then there will

be plenty of leaves left.

-Good plan.

-Hey Martin! Come here, quick!

Here's a surprise for you.

Your tree grew flowers.

-Oh yeah!

They make Seedprize look nice.

-But not only thatZoboo, check out this flower.

See these stocks withthe yellow bulbs on top.

-Oh yeah.

-They're calledstamens and they make theyellow stuff called pollen.

Now the pollen has to get fromone plant to the next plant,

so that the plantscan make more seeds.

-You better get going, pollens.

-To get going, theyneed help from pollinators.

-Kinkajous aregreat pollinators.

A kinkajou loves toeat nectar from a flower.

So he sticks his head in,and do you know what happens?

He gets all ofthe pollen on his head.

And then when he goesover to another flower,

he brings that pollenwith him and the pollen gets

stuck on thislittle red thing there.

And now this flowerhas everything it needs tomake seeds to make new plants.

-There area lot of different pollinatorsin the creature world.

Like butterflies

and bugs

and bees.

Bees have really hairy bodiesthat a lot of pollen sticks to.

And then, theygo over to the next flower andsome of that pollen falls off.

-Zoboo, now I needpollen so I can make seeds.

-The tree's alive.Brothers come quick.

-What Zob?

-Seedprize justasked me to get some pollenso she can grow some seeds.

-Oh no. Not again.Well you heard her right?

-Well Zoboo, ifyou want to keep trying to

help the tree growso you can find out what the

surprise is, why don't youstart pollinating like a bee.

-That's the yummiestsurprise I've ever seen!

He mushes it up in his truck,but he eats it, peels and all.

-Fling likes fruitfrom the banana tree.

Lookat how he puts it in his mouthand then spits it out again.

Fling doesn't liketo waste any banana.

Nowyou know, when you think aboutit, whenever you eat fruit,

you're eating somethingthat a green creature gave you.

-Did I ever tell youabout the time we almost ran outof goobleberries in Zobooland?

I was leaping along.

leap, leap, leap,

when I almost leapt

right into Wiggy Waxwing.

What's the matter with everyone?

-We're hungry Zoboo.

-Yeah,there's only one goobleberrybush left for all of us.

-Just one.

Must eat, must eat, must eat.

-Oh no! Gooble's goingto eat all the goobleberries.

Never fear, Zoboothe Super Lemur is here.

Oh wait, wait, wait Gooble,

inside these goobleberryfruits are seeds.

If we plant these seedsin the ground, a whole new

goobleberrybush will grow and we'llhave lots of goobleberries.

-Yeah.

-But how are wegoing to plant them then?

I can't digwith these small arms.

-I can dig holes.

-Great idea Noggendrill.

So I called Bugly andjumped on his back with a

pile of goobleberrieswith Narchi underneath.

So while Noggendrilldug holes, I loaded Narchi's

noseand he blew goobleberriesin all the littleholes all over Zobooland.

Gooble kicked the dirtover the seeds and before

long new goobleberriesgrew all over Zobooland.

-It worked!

-The Super Lemur savedthe day with his brains.

-I love that lemur.

-And everyone hadlots to eat. The End.

I love strawberries,so I planted some in my garden.

I watered themand took care of them.

And now they'reripe and ready to pick.

Mmmm! And boy they're good.

Oh! I see somebodyelse who loves strawberries.

I'd better not eat them all.

Because today I'm helpingmy mom make strawberry jam.

And you know what thebest part about making jam is?

Eating it!

'Cause when a creature eatsfruit, she eats the seeds too.

Then she carries theseeds in her body, to another

part of the forest, and dropsthe seeds off, in her poop.

And that's whereanother tree will grow.

So animals help plantsby moving their seeds around.

-Yeah! That's what I namedthe seed that Popcorn ate.

They're taking overand making a forest again.

around the pillar and sendsit's roots down into the ground.

-And look at this.

Check out how the rootsfind their way through the

cracks and go inand out of the building.

They'll go throughanything to get to the soil.

It's coming from inside!

They're tomb bats.

And there are aboutthirty of them living inthis ancient school house.

Amazing! It's their home now.

-And you know what?

Green creatures aremaking it possible for all

sorts of other creaturesto move in and makethis fortress their homes.

-Langur monkeys.Jumping from tree to tree.

Wild dogs on therun through the forest.

Andthe tiger camouflagedin the grass.

And the wild pig, rootingin the soil for food.

A lot of creatures lovethese ber fruits and by eatingthem, they plant more seeds.

Let's help thesecreatures plant more seeds.

That's why theVenus Flytrap makes them,to attract the flies in.

And when a fly comesin to get the sugar, his legs

touch the inside ofthe plant, and that's when the

jaw-like thingsof the Venus Flytrap snapsshut and she catches the fly.

-Why do these plantsneed to eat flies?

I thought you said plantsonly need soil, sunlight

and water and theycan make their own food.

-Your right Zoboo, but VenusFlytraps live in areas where

there isn'tmuch nutrients in the

soil, so they eat fliesto get their nutrients.

So we shrunk back to normal sizeand went over to Fibby's pool.
