(Zak): Oh, um... Oh.

(Zak laughing) Yay!

- Well done, Zak! Great pyramid!

- Shall we build another one?

(rustling and creaking) Huh?

- Um...

(rustling and creaking)

(gasping)

(alarmed tweeting) What was that?

- I don't know. I've never heard that noise before.

(clattering)

(gasping)

- Hmm.

(tweeting)

(gasping)

(tweeting) Heh. It's alright. It's probably just the wind.

Um...

- But there isn't any wind.

- You're right. That's weird.

(Zak gasping)

- Maybe...

it was a ghost!

(tweeting)

(Zou laughing)

- Don't be silly.

There's no such thing as ghosts.

See? That's where the noise is coming from.

Grandpa must be working on the roof.

Grandpa, have you been up on the roof?

- Oh, not yet. I, uh, I went to fetch something to unblock the gutter.

- So what made the noise?

- Hmm.

- We heard this strange noise in my bedroom.

(rustling and creaking)

- Oh.

(Zak whimpering)

- There!

It sounds like it's moving.

- You're right, Zou.

I wonder what it can it be?

- Hi! What are you playing?

- Elzee.

- You made me jump!

(giggling)

- Sorry, Zak.

(chuckling)

- These two have heard some strange noises.

Heh. Well, uh, so have I.

- It might be a ghost!

- A ghost?! Brilliant!

I've always wanted to see a ghost!

- I don't think you're going to. There's no such thing.

- Quite right, Zou.

(creaking)

- Oh, look!

The curtain's moving!

(Zou): Huh?

It's probably just Mom.

- Let's go and clear up this mystery. Come on.

(tweeting)

- Uh...

- Hmm.

- Uh, no.

- Hmm. There's nobody here.

- But the curtain's still moving.

- But how?

- Well, the window's slightly open. There must be a draft.

- But that still doesn't explain all the noises.

(rustling and creaking)

(Grandpa gasping)

- Oh!

(Zak whimpering)

- You know, I think Zak's right.

(rustling and creaking)

There is something strange going on.

- It's coming from all over the place!

- We need to find out what's going on.

- Okay, Grandpa, let's split up.

- Oh, okay.

- But a door creaked! Down there.

(clattering)

- Oh.

(Zou gasping)

- Huh.

- Oh! It's coming from your flat, Grandpa!

- Well, that'll be Grandma, then.

Let's go and see.

(creaking)

(creaking)

- But she's not here!

(clattering)

- Oh! Listen! It goes all the way upstairs!

(creaking)

- Yes!

- I think I've got an idea. Come along.

See? Now, if anyone comes through here,

they'll disturb this little lot.

- And then we won't miss whatever it is.

- Hmm. Great idea.

- Shall we put some on the landing too?

(Zou laughing)

(clattering)

(exclamations)

- The spoons!

- Our trap worked!

- Let's go and see!

- Uh... no, no! Of course not!

- Ah. Whose idea was it to hang these spoons up here?!

- Oh. Um... Ahem.

- But how did you get in?

- We would've seen you coming along the hallway.

- Oh...

- I was on the balcony, reading my book in the sunshine.

And when I came in, I bumped into your Grandpa's strange decorations!

- We thought you were a ghost.

- A ghost?! Me?!

(laughing)

Oh, what imaginations you little ones have.

(laughing) And big ones.

- Uh...

(chuckling) Let me give you a hand.

- Hmm.

(rustling)

- Oh! Did you hear that?

- It's the ghost!

- Hmm.

Maybe it's trying to tell us something.

- Do ghosts talk?

(Elzee giggling)

- Ghost, do you want to play with us?

(Zak whimpering)

(Zou laughing)

- Elzee, I don't think ghosts talk.

(creaking)

- Ah!

(whimpering)

(alarmed tweeting)

- Hmm.

- He says yes.

- Uh... how do you know?

- We need to agree a code.

Are you a ghost?

(two thuds)

There you go. Not a ghost.

- Hmm.

- If it says it's not a ghost, then what is it?

(knocking sounds)

(exclamations)

(all moaning)

(knocking)

- Uh...

(Grandpa chuckling)

- I don't think that tapping is an answer to your questions.

There must be someone tapping against a wall.

- Yes, but who?

- Let's go and see.

(Zou laughing)

- Uh... are you sure you want to go up there?

(banging)

(screaming)

- It's coming from Nanna's bedroom!

(Grandma): Goodness me!

(kids gasping) Oof! Ooh!

- Nanna! Was it you making those knocking noises?

- Oh. You heard me?

- Yeah, she's not a ghost.

- Aw. And I really wanted to see one.

- I said we'd find the answer.

- But what about all those other noises?

- I heard some strange noises too!

And I saw something scuttling across the wall!

I tried to shoo it away with my walking stick.

- Something... scuttling?

(whimpering)

(mournful tweeting)

- Hmm.

(rustling and creaking)

I think it's hiding in the gutter.

- In the gutter? What is it?

- Only one way to find out.

- Yes! Come on!

(both chuckling)

(tweeting)

(grunting)

- I think we've solved our mystery. Look.

(tweeting)

(all): Ah, lizards!

- Hmm. They'd set up home in the gutter.

They must've got lost.

- So it was those little lizards making all that noise?

- Yes. When they moved around, the noise echoed in the gutter

and spread all through the house.

- And they blocked the gutter.

- That's right.

And now I'm going to have to move them out.

- Oh, poor things! What will they do?

- What if we made them a new home?

- Oh! Yes!

A new home! Yay!

(laughter) A new home!

- Hmm.

(Elzee giggling)

(tweeting)

(tweeting)

(Elzee): It's so pretty!

(tweeting)

(laughter)

(Zou): There you go.

(Zak): They really like their new home.

(tweeting)

- Yes.

And they'll be much better off here than in the gutter.

- Yay!!!

You see, Poc? No need to be afraid.

Ghosts don't exist.
