♪ Chris and martin saw something strange ♪

♪ A little leaping lemur who liked to bounce and play ♪

♪ They followed their new bouncing friend ♪

♪ Not knowing where this adventure would end ♪

♪ The animals were headed just around the bend ♪

♪ Where are they going? I don't know ♪

♪ How do we get there? Come on, let's go ♪

♪ Me and you and zoboomafoo

♪ Come along and see what's new ♪

♪ We're doing the things that animals do ♪

♪ New animal friends to see

♪ Animal junction is the place to be ♪

♪ Elephants are charging, baboons are leapin' ♪

♪ Wild dogs running and nobody's sleepin' ♪

♪ Me and you and zoboomafoo

♪ Come along and see what's new ♪

♪ We're doing the things that animals do ♪

Chris: go long, martin!

Martin: I'm open!

Uh...

Agh!

Oh!

[Chris laughing]

Great catch, martin!

Nice throw, chris.

We make a great team.

You're on the team, too.

But somebody's missing.

Zoboomafoo!

Zoboo!

Hey, zoboo!

Hey, zoboo!

How you doing, buddy?

Good to see you!

I'll get zoboo a snack.

[Laughing]

Zoboo's got a strong grip.

Aha!

Yeah!

Sweet potatoes!

Whoa! Strong feet.

Martin: hey, zoboo! I got some sweet potato.

Want a piece?

There you go.

Chris: yeah!

Zoboo loves sweet potato.

[Laughing]

[Burp]

Excuse me.

Zoboomafoo!

Whoo-ha-ha!

Hey, what's that?

It's a ball.

Can I eat it?

Hmm.

Zoboo, you can't eat a ball.

[Laughing]

Ball not fruity.

Martin: you don't eat it. You play catch.

What's catch?

That's what we're doing now.

You're the lemur in the middle.

I'm the lemur in the middle.

I want to catch.

Have you played catch with a lemur?

Yeah, catch!

Throw it, and I'll--

Sorry, zob.

...catch.

Catch!

I know somebody who caught a bug and ate it.

Who?

A creature with a tail and hands.

He could catch!

Who could it be?

♪ Can you help me guess this mystery? ♪

Zoboo: his tail was as long as mine,

And he stepped on it! Ha ha!

I hate it when that happens.

♪ Mangatsika animal ♪

Zoboo: he grabbed at a bug with his hands.

What creature grabs with his hands?

♪ Whoo ha

♪ Hey hey hey!

♪ Who could it be

♪ This animal who I did see? ♪

♪ Can you help me guess this mystery? ♪

Zoboo: he's a funny, wrinkly faced creature.

Do you know who he is?

Martin: a scrunchy, wrinkly face, like this.

[Laughter]

A long grabby tail

And little people hands that grab things.

The mystery animal must be...

A monkey! A monkey!

[Squeaking]

Monkeysika!

Nrrnrrnrrnrrnrrnrr!

Hey! Why didn't I say mangatsika?

Hey, how you doing?

Because a monkey is here.

I knew it!

This monkey is a white-fronted capuchin.

Zoboo: he is searching for something.

I wonder what he's looking for?

This monkey's on a mission.

What is this monkey searching for?

What are you looking for?

Maybe he's itchy and wants to be scratched.

Hmm?

Monkeys groom each other's fur,

Picking out dirt and bugs.

What are you looking for?

What is he looking for?

He's thirsty. Maybe that's it.

Was that what you were looking for?

No. He's still looking for something.

What is it, pal?

He found a bean!

Is that it?

Nope. He wasn't looking for a bean.

Let's figure this out.

Use your creature sense!

My creature sense is tingling.

[Laughing]

[Squeaks]

[Clattering]

Hey! What was that?

Who threw that?

It wasn't me.

It wasn't me.

The monkey?

He can throw?

He can throw all right!

Just like a ball player.

But can a monkey catch?

He caught a bug.

There's one way to find out.

, , ...

I can't believe my mind!

See that?

He cancatch.

He's got good hands.

Fling!

Catch! Fling!

Catch!

He throws and catches!

Throw it back.

Oof!

I'm ok. I'm ok.

Oh!

Fling!

Caught it!

[Laughing]

Fling!

Catch.

Fling!

Catch. Fling.

Catch and fling!

I will call him "fling."

Good name, zob.

I'm zoboo. You're fling.

I know someone who had trouble throwing,

In zobooland.

I was leaping along-- leap, leap, leap--

[Sniffling]

When I heard a sniffling sound.

I landed next to narchi,

Who was standing next to boogle and crying.

Why are you crying, narchi?

We tried to play catch with the boogleberry,

But I can't throw.

My arms are too stubby.

[Crying]

I suggested another game,

But he wants to play catch.

[Crying]

I've got an idea.

Use your nose to throw.

Just blow.

Good idea!

Good idea.

Uh-huh. I'm ready.

I'm the lemur in the middle.

Whoa!

[Gulps]

Nice catch!

It worked!

Let's do it again.

[Blowing]

We played boogleberry catch all day,

And I was in the middle.

Here! Catch!

[Blowing]

Whoo-ha-ha!

The end.

Chris: where is fling going?

Where are you going, fling? Huh?

What is this capuchin monkey looking for?

Wait a minute!

Where did fling go?

He's right here, zob.

He's playing hide-and-seek.

What is he looking for?

What are you looking for?

[Squeaking]

Oh!

He's going everywhere!

Whoo-ha! That's it!

Fling's hungry.

Chris: fling must be looking for food.

Fling is a white-fronted capuchin.

Like all capuchins,

He searches the forest, looking for food.

Like those white-faced capuchins in the rain forest.

There were of them, and they were hungry.

They ripped into the trees looking for tasty bugs.

Is there food in your camera?

No! My camera!

Don't fling it, fling!

Oh!

Nice catch!

That was close!

Yeah!

But it's not over yet.

Incoming!

Ahhhh!

Nice catch, chris.

Got it!

[Squeaking]

[Laughing]

That looks fun.

I want to fly!

He's hungry for something.

We have to figure out what he's hungry for.

Oh!

Throw me! Throw me!

Throw me far! Whee!

Whoa! Fling flung you far.

What's he doing?

What is he doing?

Zoboo: I think he's flinging.

He's not hungry for pie.

Fling will fling it,

But will chris catch it?

Hey, fling!

Ho ho ho!

That's how chris catches pies--

With his face.

[Laughter]

Did you see that?

Chris catches pies with his face!

[Laughter]

Nice catch.

Nice throw, fling.

What a nutty monkey.

Zoboo: nuts!

Maybe that's it.

Fling wants nuts.

Maybe.

He's going to go for it!

He's pushing the button.

Fling made it rain nuts.

He likes nuts as much as I do.

You're right, zoboo.

Fling was hungry for nuts.

Capuchin monkeys love nuts.

That's why fling was flinging things.

Fling, fling us some nuts.

Great!

Chris caught with his face.

Can he catch with his mouth?

[Drumroll]

Nice!

Fling made a mess,

Because when a monkey searches for something

He tears up the forest.

When wild monkeys are hungry,

They search until they fill their bellies.

You know, as funny as monkeys are,

This kind of mess is one reason

People shouldn't keep monkeys as pets.

Monkeys mess up a room like a forest.

The most important reason is that monkeys are happiest in their forest home.

Living free and in the wild!

I'm feeling kind of monkeyish.

I'm really feeling monkeyish.

♪ I feel different, not the same ♪

♪ This kind of feeling I can't explain ♪

♪ There's only one thing that I can do ♪

♪ I feel monkeyish

♪ How about you?

♪ Monkeyish! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! ♪

♪ Monkeyish!

♪ Fun, fun, fun, fun, monkeyish ♪

♪ I'm a quick-handed monkey

♪ Flinging things around

♪ Monkeyish!

Martin: incoming!

Hit the dirt! Duck!

Hi, sandstorm.

She's a lanner falcon.

Ball?

Want to play catch?

Can birds fling things?

Hmm.

I don't think-- whoa!

The creature world's full of surprises,

And so is jackie.

We caught these frogs in the pond.

We made this nice home,

But are they happy?

I don't think so.

They were happier in their natural home.

We're going to take them home.

They'd rather be at their house than your house.

Their house is mudpuppy pond.

Frogs like ponds better.

There's lots of room to swim.

And lots of bugs to eat.

This is where frogs are happiest,

Living free and in the wild.

We're going to take fling back to his forest home.

He's happiest there.

Free and in the wild!

Is that the trip?

Yup. Let's get ready.

♪ They're going to the closet ♪

♪ They're going on a trip ♪

♪ They're going to the closet ♪

♪ To grab their stuff and split ♪

Ready? Here goes.

Whoa! No!

[Groaning]

Wait a second!

What do we need?

Maps and a compass.

We'll use these to find fling's forest home.

We need one more thing.

I know it rhymes with thing.

What could it be?

A little monkey named fling.

Have you seen him?

Oh, there he is!

Hey, buddy.

Let's go!

Come on. Let's go.

This way!

♪ They're going on a cool adventure ♪

♪ And they don't know what's in store ♪

♪ They're coming from the closet ♪

♪ And they're headed out the door ♪

Martin: come on, fling!

Chris: when you're on an adventure

Looking for a certain forest,

You need maps.

And a compass to point you in the right direction.

A compass is a delicate instrument.

If it breaks, we could get lost.

We have to be careful with it.

I'll put it here.

Let's see.

I think we should head north past tapier creek.

That could do it.

Let's head out.

You got the compass?

Hmm-mm.

That's the way we should go.

Come on, fling!

All right. Hold a second.

Compass says we should go that way.

Not this way?

No. Look.

That way. Ok.

Hurry up, fling!

Martin: a monkey doesn't always walk home.

He likes to climb.

And swing!

Through the trees.

Whoa!

[Laughter]

Get off my leg.

Hey!

Monkeys!

But they're not capuchin monkeys.

They're red howler monkeys.

This isn't fling's home forest.

You're right, chris.

Hey!

My compass is missing.

Something funny is going on around here.

Something like that.

Fling!

[Laughing]

He can't stop flinging things.

[Laughter]

He broke it!

No wonder we kept getting lost.

It's a good thing creature adventurers always carry a spare compass.

Great!

Now we can figure out where we are.

That was a good idea.

Fling's forest home is definitely that way!

We're almost there.

Look!

White-fronted capuchins!

We found fling's family!

Fling knows this is the right place.

Bye, fling.

The best place for a monkey--

Where the monkey's happiest--

Is here, living free and in the wild.

This is his home.

Now that fling is where he's happiest,

Let's go back where we're always happy.

Animal junction!

Come on!

Wait till we tell zoboo--

Wait!

Do you hear something?

[Zoboo laughing and talking]

Something's going on in there.

Let's find out what.

Zoboo: nice catch!

I'm open!

Whoo-ha!

Oh, no!

Martin, look out!

Chris: not again! Duck!

He meant that kind of duck--

Not that kind of duck.

Whoo-ha-ha-ha!

Banana cream.

Wipe that pie out of your eyes.

He won't believe this. It's--

Monkey junction!

[Squeaking]

Squirrel monkeys!

Here's another kind.

Owl monkey.

And a swinging baboon.

This is a squirrel monkey.

They're fast-grabbing fruit-eaters.

Zoboo: is he a squirrel or a monkey?

He's the size of a squirrel, but he's all monkey.

He doesn't bury nuts.

He eats them.

See how he gobbles that grape?

Squirrel monkeys are great in trees.

They scramble around the branches,

A lot like squirrels.

Baboons hang out in big groups called troops.

They search the savanna for food.

Food can be scarce,

So a baboon really stuffs his face.

It's amazing how much food baboons can stuff in their cheeks.

Want some?

They put it in and save it for later.

You want some more?

Guess not.

I see why they're named owl monkeys.

Look at those eyes--

As big as owl eyes.

Great for seeing at night.

They're the only nocturnal monkeys in the world.

That means they're active at night.

That's why they're called owl monkeys.

Look at him go!

Watch out!

[Squawking]

What's got into these monkeys?

Hey, you want to play frisbee now?

We thought fling messed up animal junction,

But look what a mess many monkeys make!

You know the old saying-- more monkeys...

More mess.

What time is it

When you see a baboon with a basketball?

Time to play ball.

Yeah!

Over here!

I know somebody in zobooland who could catch.

I was leap, leap, leaping along,

When suddenly,

I bumped into narchi! Oof! Ha ha!

Hi, narchi.

Great to see you!

Want to play goobleberry ball?

"Sure," I said.

So we played.

I threw the ball to narchi,

And he threw it back to me.

Try to catch this!

It's my super-duper double looper.

Whoo! Whoo-ho!

Whoa!

Uh-oh. That was our only goobleberry.

Suddenly the goobleberry blew right to us.

Where did that come from?

Who blew that goobleberry?

Nobody.

Who threw it?

Me.

Who's me?

Yeah. Who's me?

Me. Fibi.

Zoboo: fibi was shy

And wouldn't come out of the water.

Every time our ball went "splash,"

Fibi caught it.

And we played loop-dee-loop ball all day long.

Fibi, throw it over!

Ok.

Thanks! Whoo-ha!

The monkeys are on the move.

They're going back to their forest homes.

Good-bye, owl monkey!

Bye, squirrel monkey.

See you, baboon.

That's different types of monkey.

There are about different kinds of monkeys in the world.

They all look different.

Some are big.

Some are small.

Some have lots of fur. Some don't.

Some have small noses,

And some have really big ones.

But all monkeys do one thing the same.

They come to animal junction.

And monkeys make a mess!

My favorite part of the day

Was this part.

When the kratt brothers catch pies with their faces.

I love banana cream pies.

And mischievous monkeys--

And lemurs!

Who fling things.

That was my favorite part--

The hilarious way they threw things.

I was glad we helped fling find his way home

To the wild where all monkeys belong.

♪ This animal is a friend of mine ♪

♪ From the tip of his nose to his funny behind ♪

♪ All the friends that we met today ♪

♪ Are special in their own way ♪

♪ We've all got different names ♪

♪ But we're really all the same ♪
