Chris, this must be the snowstorm of the century!

Yeah! It's freezing out here!

Hey! It's wild out there, but what really amazes me

Is how animals can stay outside all winter long.

It's incredible!

We saw a moose in the snow.

How does he stand the cold?

And otters were playing around like it was summer.

We humans need clothes to stay warm.

We need to live in heated houses.

But some animals spend all winter outside in the snow!

How do they do it?

I don't know, but I just thought of one who can't.

Zoboo. Zoboo.

Because lemurs are warm-weather creatures.

Zoboo, you got here before the storm!

Want a little rubdown? That will warm you up.

Mmm. I've got hot chocolate,

But what would warm a lemur's belly?

Something orange and yummy: sweet potato!

And I just had some.

Guys, how come the clouds fell down

All over the ground?

There's clouds all over the ground.

Snow. Snow, not clouds.

Yeah, and in the clouds-- I mean the snow-- a creature ran around.

What a snow-loving tree-swinger.

Do you know who he is?

Martin: what kind?

Monkey...

Monkey...

Monkey...

It's a snow monkey!

She's very playful.

That's a japanese macaque.

All right!

Mangatsnowka! Mangatsnowka!

She's on the move.

Whoa!

Snow monkeys are fast!

Hop on me! Whoa! You got me! Ha ha!

They're from japan.

Some macaques live high in the mountains

And spend the whole winter in the snow.

She's cold as an ice cube.

Ooh. Hoo hoo!
