I'm Hubba Hubba, talking

to you from Hoobland.

And I'm about to send four

of my favorite

Hoobs down to Earth

to find out all about you

for my great Hoobapedia.

Here they come!

- Iver!

- Groove!

- And Tula!

- [Hoobs] We're Hoobs!

♪ And they're ready to go ♪

♪ Now the wheels are turning ♪

♪ We can all get learning ♪

♪ All the things

we want to know ♪

♪ Hubba Hubba's in Hoobland ♪

♪ And Roma's

somewhere far away ♪

♪ The Motorettes are singing ♪

♪ We keep the engine spinning ♪

- [Hoobs] Hoob-hoob-hooray!

♪ The Hoobmobile is

coming your way ♪

- Oh here we come!

- Well, hey!

- Ah!

♪ The Hoobs are here,

so what do you say ♪

- [Hoobs] Hoobs!

(plucky instrumental music)

(gasps)

(giggles)

- It's Groove!

- No, it's Iver.

(laughs)

- Oh.

Oh! Ow.

(crashing)

(gasps)

It's Iver, it's definitely Iver!

- No, no, it's Groove, Tula!

- Oh, Hooby bother.

I'm not having any luck.

- Come on, Tula.

Let's try again!

- All right.

- Whoa!

- [Groove] What's this?

What's this?

(laughing)

(gasps)

- It's Tula!

- Oh, but how did you know?

- It was a lucky

guess, I suppose.

- See, it's not fair.

Every time we play

Blind Hoob's Buff,

you always guess me and I

always get you two mixed up.

- How about a cheese

sandwich to cheer you up?

- I don't need a

cheese sandwich.

What I need is some luck.

- Exactly!

Now, what would make Tula lucky?

- [Hubba Hubba] Hubba Hubba.

- (laughs) That's the question!

- What would make Tula lucky?

That's an excellent

question for Hoob News!

Hoobs all over the universe

who find themselves

having a bit of bad luck

will want to know

the answer to that.

- I suppose you're

right, Hubba Hubba.

But where should we start?

- Well, let me look on HoobNet

to see if there's

anything that brings luck

to the Peeps and

the Tiddlypeeps.

Ah, I think we're in luck here!

Take a look, Hoobs.

Right, Hoobs.

It says here that the

Peeps and the Tiddlypeeps

cross their fingers for luck.

- That's it!

Those Tiddlypeeps

cross their fingers

to make themselves lucky.

So if I cross my Hooby paws

like this, then so will I!

- Right, time to test it out

to see if you're any luckier.

- But how?

- By playing Blind

Hoob's Buff, that's how!

- Yeah (giggles).

(plucky instrumental music)

(yells)

- It's Tula!

- Oh, ah!

A lucky guess, I suppose.

- Yes, I suppose it was.

Let's try again.

- Yeah.

- Ah!

(laughs)

- Yeah yeah yeah

yeah, it's Tula!

(laughs)

- Oh, right.

I'm going to prove I'm

as lucky as you are!

Aha!

Yes, yes, it's Iver!

- No, it's Groove, isn't it?

- Oh,

Hooby bother.

I was sure I felt luckier.

- Oh, never mind, Tula.

I suppose all you need to do

is to find another lucky thing.

- But where?

♪ Where where where ♪

♪ Where ♪

- [Hubba Hubba] Hubba Hubba.

- Maybe Hubba Hubba

will know where!

- Hooble-doop-oops.

You'll never guess what!

I won these hoobacious

Hooby muffs in a raffle.

Aren't I lucky?

- Aw, everyone's

luckier than me!

- Oh don't fret, Tula.

Why don't you go and

visit some Tiddlypeeps.

They're bound to know where

you can get some good luck.

- That is a hoobly

groobly idea, Hubba Hubba.

Who's going to drive me?

- I will, Tula.

- I'll just stay here and

have a lucky cheese sandwich.

- Seatbelt.

- We're off to see

the Tiddlypeeps.

- Yeah!

(chiming)

(cheerful orchestral music)

- Oh, hey, Tula!

- Why have you come

here to these stables?

- I've come to get Lucky.

- Oh, I'm trying

to get lucky too!

Are you going to

find some luck here?

- Not luck, Lucky!

This is Lucky.

He's been having

new shoes put on.

They look like this.

That way, Lucky will never

tread on anything sharp

that might hurt him.

- Hm, that's probably

what'll happen to me next.

I'm not being very lucky today.

- Horseshoes are lucky.

- Really?

- Yes, if you get one,

you're bound to be luckier.

- Iver, Groove!

Did you hear that?

- Oh yes.

- Order me a horseshoe

from HoobNet right away!

Oh, thank you, Tiddlypeep.

You've been a great help.

Hooble-toodle-doo!

- Hooble-toodle-doo!

(cheerful instrumental music)

- Right, I've got my horseshoe.

I'm crossing my Hooby paws

and I feel like the

luckiest Hoob in the world!

Let's play Blind Hoob's Buff!

- Blind Hoob's Buff!

(plucky instrumental music)

(crashes)

- Ah!

It's Tula!

(laughs)

Yes, I was right!

Another lucky guess for me.

Oh, I'm sorry Tula.

You aren't any luckier, are you?

- Well I'm luckier than Groove.

(groaning)

- That was not

Hooby groovy at all.

- Never mind, Groove.

Have a cheese sandwich.

That'll cheer you up!

- Cheese sandwich?

Oh, right.

- I can't help thinking I

need just one more thing

to bring me good luck.

- [Hubba Hubba] Hubba Hubba.

Would you believe it, Hoobs?

I was just clearing out a drawer

when I came across my

old Hooby muff danglers

on the same day that I won these

fantabby Hooby Hooby muffs!

How lucky was that?

- Very lucky, Hubba Hubba.

- How are you

getting on, anyway?

- I just need a little

bit more luck, Hubba Hubba

and I'll be there!

- Well, take a

look at this story

a Tiddlypeep sent into HoobNet.

Maybe it'll give you

the extra little bit

of luck you're after.

- [Narrator] Tony the Troll

was the unluckiest troll

that had ever been.

It was his birthday

but he hadn't got

any of the presents

he'd really hoped for.

(sighs)

Worst of all, his uncle

Tobias had given him

the nastiest pair of checked

trousers he'd ever seen!

- How unlucky can you get?

- [Narrator] Sighed Tony.

The next morning, he

woke up and as usual,

he bumped his head on the shelf.

- Ow!

- [Narrator] On his

way to breakfast,

he tripped and fell

down the stairs.

Then, at breakfast,

he spilled orange juice all

over his favorite trousers!

(Hoobs groan)

- [Tula] Unlucky.

- How unlucky can you get?

- [Narrator] "You're not just

unlucky," said Tony's mom.

"You're a mess, too.

"Go upstairs and change

into those nice trousers

"that your uncle

Tobias gave you."

- This is the

unluckiest day ever!

- [Narrator] But that

was about to change.

First, in his snarling

and growling class,

he got top marks!

That never happened!

Then, at lunch, Trisha Troll,

the prettiest troll of all,

came and sat next to him.

- I love your trousers, Tony.

- [Narrator] Said Trisha.

- They make you look

really handsome.

- [Narrator] And

from that day on,

Tony was never unlucky again.

- I'm the luckiest

troll there ever was!

And all thanks to

my lucky trousers.

- Now that has given me an idea.

I've got something lucky to do,

something lucky to hold,

what I need to be the

luckiest Hoob ever

is to find something

lucky to wear!

- But where?

♪ Where where where ♪

♪ Where ♪

- Here's where!

In my collection of things that

made Iver and me look silly,

but might look good on Tula.

(laughs)

- This is the nastiest

jacket I have ever seen!

How can it possibly be lucky?

- Because it's so

hoobaciously nasty.

- Yeah!

Remember Tony's trousers?

He thought they were

the nastiest trousers

he'd ever seen,

but they turned out to be lucky.

- Oh well, maybe you're right.

- All we have to

do is test it out.

- But how?

♪ How how how ♪

♪ How how how how ♪

♪ How ♪

- Blind Hoob's Buff, that's how!

- Yeah, I guessed as much.

- Right.

(crashes)

(Groove groans)

- Ah!

- Aha!

It's

Tula.

- Oh.

Hooby bother.

You made a lucky guess again.

- Yes, I did.

- I'm gonna have

another cheese sandwich

to make me feel better.

Ah!

- I might be

luckier than Groove,

but I'm still not as

lucky as you, Iver.

Perhaps I need one

more lucky thing.

- [Announcer] Roma.

- (gasps) It's Roma.

Maybe she'll know

where to find it.

- Oh, Hooble-doo-poobs.

- [Hoobs] Hooble-doop, Roma!

- Look at this lovely

meadow I've come to.

Aren't I lucky?

In fact, I've come here because

I've heard from Hubba Hubba

that you're trying to be lucky.

- That's right, Roma.

- Well, Tula, the local

Peeps have told me

that a very lucky

plant grows here.

It's called a

four-leafed clover.

Now most of these clover

plants only have three leaves.

But once in a while,

one grows that has

four hoobacious leaves.

- Oh, can you show us one, Roma?

- I've been searching around

here for quite a while

but I haven't come

across one yet.

(gasps)

Wait a minute!

What's that?

- What, what is it, Roma?

- Look, look!

I've found one!

Isn't that lucky?

Tula, you should

have a look around

and see if you can find

a four-leafed clover,

then maybe you'll

be as lucky as me!

This is Roma Hoob,

off to get lucky!

Hooble-toodle-doo.

- [Hoobs] Hooble-toodle-doo!

- That is what I need!

A four-leaf clover.

Oh, Roma said they

grow in meadows

and we're nowhere near a meadow.

- Well we must find

one somewhere, Tula.

- But where?

♪ Where where where ♪

♪ Where ♪

- Here's where!

- But Groove, we don't grow

clover in our roof garden.

We only grow Hooby plants.

- Yes, Tula, but

it isn't the plant

that's important, is it?

It's the fact that it

grows extra leaves.

That's what makes it lucky.

- Hooby-kalooby, you're right!

If I can find a Hooby

plant with too many leaves,

then it'll make me lucky.

(cheerful music)

♪ I'll search our

Hooby roof garden ♪

♪ 'Till every plant is checked ♪

♪ There must be

one amongst them ♪

♪ With more leaves

than is correct ♪

♪ A bush, a shrub,

some kind of tree ♪

♪ With five leaves, four

leaves, even three ♪

♪ Shout out loud

if you should see ♪

♪ More leaves than

you'd expect ♪

♪ This one has

the standard two ♪

♪ No more than you'd think ♪

♪ It probably isn't lucky ♪

♪ But it's a lovely

shade of pink ♪

♪ This one's got

its usual three ♪

♪ And this one has as well ♪

♪ They'll not improve

your fortunes ♪

♪ But they have a lovely smell ♪

♪ All these plants

up on our roof ♪

♪ Their scents and colors fine ♪

♪ But I need one

with extra leaves ♪

♪ Lucky Hoob plant,

please be mine ♪

♪ But Tula, you must

accept we can't ♪

♪ Locate this

extra leafy plant ♪

♪ Face it, we've

looked at every ♪

♪ Tree and bush and hedge ♪

♪ And nothing has revealed

any surplus foliage ♪

♪ But wait a moment,

look at this ♪

♪ What is it I can see ♪

♪ Oh, are my eyes mistaken ♪

♪ Or my goodness, could it be ♪

♪ Does it look the same to you ♪

♪ How many leaves

come into view ♪

♪ See, where there

should be only two ♪

♪ This Hoob plant

sprouted three ♪

- Yippee!

I've found it, I have found it!

A Hooby plant with

an extra leaf!

Look, a three-leafed Hooblefern.

- I've done even

better than that!

I found a four-leafed one.

(laughs)

How Hooby groovy is that, eh?

Come here, let me put it.

- Right, all we've got

to do now is test it out.

- Aw, do we have to?

Every time we test it out,

I get more and more unlucky.

- I'm sorry, Groove.

But we won't know

if I've got lucky

unless we test it out, will we?

- No, and we won't

have the answer

to the Hoob News question.

- Let's play,

- [Hoobs] Blind Hoob's Buff!

(plucky instrumental music)

(crashes)

- Oh, sorry!

- Aha!

(crashes)

Ouch.

- Sorry again!

- Well, Tula, you're definitely

luckier than both of us.

- Well, I'm not sure.

- Oh please say you are, Tula.

I can't play this game anymore.

I need another cheese sandwich.

- But, but I still haven't

guessed who either of you were

when we played Blind Hoob's Buff

so that means I'm

not actually lucky.

- Oh, well, I

suppose that is true.

- Oh, Iver.

I'm sure I just

need one more thing

and then I'll be lucky.

- [Hubba Hubba] Hubba Hubba.

- Oh come on, perhaps

Hubba Hubba has an idea.

- Hooble-doo-poops.

Just look at me now!

(laughs)

When Auntie Hattie saw

my Hooby muff danglers,

she remembered that she had some

that she didn't want anymore

and she gave them to me!

Aren't I the luckiest

Hoob in Hoobland!

- You certainly

are, Hubba Hubba!

- And what about you?

- I'm still not lucky enough

to win Blind Hoob's Buff.

- I suggest you pay another

visit to the Tiddlypeeps.

They'll know what to do.

- That's a Hoobly-groobly idea.

Who's going to drive?

Groove?

You're the lucky one.

(laughs)

- Can I bring my sandwich?

- Mhm.

(bell chimes)

- Oh, it looks just

like Blind Hoob's Buff

except we all wear blindfolds

and try and catch each other.

- Would you like to play?

- (gasps) Could I really?

- Of course, come on!

(children giggling)

- It's Tula!

- Oh, how did you know?

- It was easy, I could

feel your horseshoe,

your jacket, everything!

- Why do you have all

those things, anyway?

- Oh, to make me lucky.

- You don't need to be lucky.

You just need to be clever.

- Just think about all

the others look like.

Look at Jasmin, she's got

long hair so if we catch her,

we know who it is 'cause

we can feel her hair!

- Oh, so it's not luck at all!

- No, no one's luckier

than anyone else.

That would be really unfair.

- Thank you so much for

showing me what to do.

Hooble-toodle-doo!

- [Children] Hooble-toodle-doo!

- Right, thanks to

the Tiddlypeeps,

this time I'm

definitely going to know

which one of you I catch so

let's play Blind Hoob's Buff!

(gasps)

- Ah!

- It's Iver!

- You're right, it is me.

- Okay, let's go again.

- All right, Tula.

(laughs)

(gasps)

- It's Groove!

- Yes, yes, it's me!

(laughs)

- There you go,

you are lucky after all, Tula.

- It wasn't luck!

I knew it was you because

I felt your huge nose!

- So how did you

know it was me, Tula?

- Because you smell

of cheese, Groove.

(laughs)

- Well, that's it then.

You made your own luck, Tula,

and just in time for Hoob News.

- Then, take it away!

- Hooble-doop-whoop to

all you Hoobs out there.

Welcome to Hoob News,

the news show for

Hoobs everywhere.

I'm Iver.

- I'm Tula.

- And I'm Groove.

- And today we've been

asking the question...

- What would make Tula lucky?

- [Iver] First, Hubba Hubba

showed us some pictures

of Tiddlypeeps

crossing their fingers.

- [Tula] So I tried

crossing my Hooby paws.

But that didn't

make me very lucky.

- [Groove] Then a

Tiddlypeep told Tula

that horseshoes are lucky.

- But that didn't

make me lucky, either.

- [Groove] And it seemed

to make me unlucky.

- [Tula] Then we watched

a story about a troll

and his lucky trousers.

- [Groove] So I found

Tula a lucky jacket.

- But that still didn't

make Tula lucky enough.

- [Tula] Then Roma told

us about a lucky plant

called a four-leaf clover

which had one leaf too many.

And Groove found a

four-leaf Hooblefern

and put it in my twizzle

tuft for good luck.

- But that made

Groove and me unlucky.

- And I wasn't any

luckier at all.

- [Groove] But then, Tula

visited some Tiddlypeeps

who explained she didn't

actually need to be lucky

to win at Blind Hoob's Buff.

- I just needed to be clever.

Cleverer than Groove or Iver!

(laughs)

- Hey!

(Hubba Hubba laughs)

- So there you have it, Hoobs.

And it's thanks once again to

Iver, Tula, Groove, and Roma

for giving us a little peep

into the world of Peeps.
