- Well I had my
mind on thinking up
a question for Hoob News.
- Well let's find the
Hoobo fizz first Iver.

Oh Groove was up on the
Hooby roof garden yesterday
and maybe he took it with him.

Hoobo fizz up there?
- Uh the Hoobo fizz.

I just been to get it but
it's gone cold and hard.

- Look I'm sorry Tula,
I didn't turn it cold and
hard I just forgot it.
When I went and took it later
it had gone cold
and hard on its own.
I didn't know what to do.

But first let me see if there's
anything cold and
hard on Hooblette.
(laughs) Brr, we're in luck.
These are icicles Hoobs, that
looked very cold and hard.
That's so hard he's having
to drill through it.
Look at all those hard lumps
of ice around that boat.
Oh look at Tiddlypeeps
with ice lollies.
Oh look he's sawing
through that ice.
Must be cold there!
Look there's an
animal on the ice.
Oh and another Tiddlypeep
with an ice lolly.
- Well you can't drink any
of those cold hard
things can you?
- No but I want one
of those ice lollies
that Tiddleypeeps were licking.
Maybe we can put the jug
of Hoobo fizz on this stick
and turn it into an ice lolly.
- No Groove!
Ice lollies have nothing to do
with answering our question.
- This is gonna be the biggest
Hooby grooviest ice lolly
in the world ever.
(ice clinking)
(stick cracks)
Aw Hooby bother.
I don't think this enormous
ice log is gonna come
out of this jug.
- [Computer] Roma,
Roma, Roma, Roma.
- Hooble to poobs.
- [Both] Hooble too, Roma.
- Today I'm reporting
from the Arctic Circle,
one of the coldest places
on the Peep planet.
And I'm surrounded by
these huge white icebergs.
Now, you'd be right
to think Hoobs
that they look like
great big mountains
in the middle of the sea.
- [Iver And Tula] Yes.
- But let me tell you this.
They're not made of
rock like mountains are.
Oh no, they're made of water!
- [All] Made of water?
- I knew you'd never believe it.
You see when water gets
very, very cold it goes hard.
This is called freezing.
These icebergs are
made of Hoobloads
of water that's been frozen.
- [All] Hooby galooby.
- All sorts of liquids
can freeze you know.
I made this for example.
An ice lolly by freezing
some orange juice.
- But how Roma?
- Oh it was easy Groove.
I put the stick in a
little cup of orange juice
and then I left it out in
the cold to freeze solid.
Once it's frozen you just
pull the stick out of the cup
and the lolly comes with it.
Fantabby Hooby.
The orange juice has turned
from runny liquid
into solid ice.
(licking noise)
Mm.
This is Roma Hoob freezing in
the Arctic with an ice lolly.
Hooble tootle brr.
- [All] Hooble tootle brr.
- How Hooby groovy was that, eh?
Do you think I could make
lollies out of Hoob juice?
- So, our Hoobo fizz was
left outside in the cold
and now it's frozen
just like the icebergs.
- It still doesn't help us
find a way of drinking it.
- Well there must be a way Tula.

- I don't know how but
I do know how to make
Hoob juice ice lollies.
I've put the juice in the cups,
the sticks in the juice,
and now I'm gonna freeze
them on the roof garden.

meant to be finding out
if we can make the
Hoobo fizz runny.
- [Computer] Hubba

- Oh it's Hubba Hubba,
he might have some news Tula.
- Is that Hoobo
fizz Hubba Hubba?
- Yes, it certainly is Tula.
It tastes so
Hoobacious (hiccups).
Oh dear, now I've
got the Hooby hics.
(laughs)
- Oh I wish I could
have the Hooby hics too.
But that won't happen until we
get to drink our Hoobo fizz.
- Oh yes (hiccups) now I've
been trying to find out
all about freezing (hiccups)
and I came across a
story which may (hiccups)
give you some more (hiccups)
information (hiccups).

- [Narrator] Once upon a time,
there was a beautiful
orange Smiley Carrot.
He was very happily
growing in a field.
- This is the life for a carrot.
- [Narrator] But then
one day it was time
for him to leave
his lovely field
and he was very sad.
The Smiley Carrot didn't know
what to do or where to go.
But off he went looking
for a new place to live.
Then the Smiley Carrot
met some other carrots
on a compost heap in
the farmer's garden.
- [Moldy Carrot g*ng]
Hello Smiley Carrot.
We're the Moldy Carrot g*ng.
Do you want to live with us?
- [Narrator] The Moldy
Carrot g*ng seemed very nice
but they looked a
bit green and hairy.
And the Smiley Carrot wanted
to stay orange and smooth.
- No thank you.
- [Narrator] Said
the Smiley Carrot.
He turned and saw a bunch
of lovely orange carrots
just like him standing
by the kitchen door.
- [Frozen Carrot g*ng] Hello.
- [Narrator] They said.
- [Frozen Carrot g*ng] We're
the Frozen Carrot g*ng.
Do you want to come
and live with us?
- Yes please.
- [Narrator] He said and
followed them inside.
They all stood in
front of the fridge
and the leader of the g*ng said.
- Okay, what we
have to do is jump
right up there into the icebox.
One, two, three, jump!
- [Narrator] At first
the Smiley Carrot
was very cold but the
other carrots told him
it was all right, you
soon get used to it.
- And once you're frozen
you'll stay fresh and orange
for a very long time
and you'll never have to
join the Moldy Carrot g*ng.
- [Narrator] And
the Smiley Carrot
was frozen happily ever after.
- This is the life for a carrot.
- [Narrator] He said.
- Hooby kanooby, we'll
have the freshest
Hoobo fizz in the universe.
- But that's no good
if we can't drink it.
I'm going to check it,
it might have gone runny again.
- Oh and I'm gonna
check my lollies
to see if they're frozen.
- Yes, right, well wait for me.
- No it's still cold and hard
and completely undrinkable.
- But my lollies
are cold and hard
and completely
(slurps) lickable.
Let's find something
else to freeze (laughs).

- Ah, can you freeze cheese?

but when it gets warm again
it melts and goes runny.

So that means if we bring
our Hoobo fizz inside
where it's warm it'll melt
and we can drink it again.

us that liquids go hard

somewhere very cold.
This is called freezing.
- [Groove] We realized that
our Hoobo fizz had frozen.
- [Tula] But we didn't
know how to make
it go runny again.
- [Groove] Then, we had
a Hooby groovy story
about how Peeps freeze
food to keep it fresh.
- So we knew that our Hoobo fizz
would be really fresh.
- But we still
couldn't drink it.
- [Iver] So Groove went
to see the Tiddlypeeps.
- [Tula] And forgot to ask them
how to make the
Hoobo fizz runny.
- [Groove] But I did get
some Hoobalicious ice cream.
- [Iver] Then, the most
Hoobacious thing happened
when we sang a song.
- [Tula] The ice
cream went all runny.
