Max: I know where wecan fly for real.

Emmy: Definitely.

Kids: I wish, I wishwith all my heart

to fly with dragonsin a land apart.

Max: Hello? Anybody there?

Emmy: Zak? Wheezie? Cassie?

Max: Ord?

Emmy: It's shaped like a heart.

Max: Watch it jump.

Emmy: Hi, everybody.Where've you been?

Cassie: Ord lost something,and we've been helping him

look for it.

Ord: Ohh.[Sniffles]

Max: Don't worry, Ord.

Emmy: Tell us what happened.

[Ord sobbing]Ord: I...I...I lost my...

Wheezie: He losthis lucky stone. And...

Zak: And we can't find itanywhere.

Max: It's OK.We'll help you find it.

Emmy: Sure we will!What does it look like?

Ord: Well, it wassmooth and shiny.

Max: Was it shaped like a heart?

Ord: Yes.Max: And colored red?

Ord: Yes.

Max: And fits rightin your hand?

Where is it?

Max: I saw it. I found it.

I threw it in the river.

Ord: Oh, no!Wheezie: Whoopsie daisy.

Ord: Why would you do that?

Max: I was skipping rocks,and I picked it up.

I didn't know it was your rock.I'm really sorry, Ord.

Emmy: It'll be OK. We'll findyou another lucky stone,

a better one.

Ord:But I don't want another one.

I want that one.

My grandfather gave it tome when I was learning to fly,

and ever since I got it,I practiced and practiced,

and I've been able to do

all kinds of flying tricksperfectly.

Cassie: I'm sure we can find it.

Ord: But we have to find it soon

because today, I have to domy trickiest tricks

during fly time at school.

Emmy: What's fly time?

Ord: Fly time is before naptimeand after playtime,

but I'll never be able to dothree loop-de-loops,

four aerial zigzags,and a round spring backhand-off

if I'm not holdingmy lucky stone.

We just have to find it.

Cassie: I have an idea.

What about using Quetzal'sold diving bell

on the other side of the river?

Emmy: What's a diving bell?

Zak: Uh, will I get waterup my nose?

Cassie: It's just likea submarine, only smaller.

We can use it to searchthe bottom of the riverbed.

Smooth and shiny, red,shaped like a heart,

and it fits in your hand.

Ord, I found it. I found yourlucky stone. Now you can fly.

Ord: Thank you, little buddy.

Max: Look at this.

Ord: You're back. Mwah, mwah.I'm so happy.

Now I'll be able to do my tricksfor sure.

Max: It fell out during takeoff.

I never really needed the stoneto fly well.

Emmy: Max loves trains, Enrique.

Max: Yeah. and today we getto ride the Dragon Land Express.

Enrique:I know. I can't wait either.

Cassie: Hi, everyone.

Max: Well, where is it?

I think I hear the train.

Oh, it's just Zak and Wheezie.

Zak: And we would have beenon time

if Wheezie had cleaned her sideof the room last night,

like Mom asked us to.

Emmy: Just be patient, Max.

Trains are all he ever talksabout lately.

Ord: You look like a realengineer in that hat, Max.

Driving trains is my game.Ready to ride?

Max: We sure are.

Ord: Oh, yeah, it'll be fun!Wheezie: ♪ Love it! ♪

Isabella: OK, then. All aboard!

Emmy: Ya-hoo!

Max: Isabella, can I situp front and blow the whistle?

Isabella: Well, you have the hatfor it. Sure thing.

Max: Hee hee![Train whistle blowing]

[Laughter and cheering]

Whee!Emmy: Yeah!

Max: This is the greatesttrain ride ever.

[Whistle blowing]

[Brake squeals]

Enrique: Whoa.Zak: What's happened there?

Ord: Why did we stop?Emmy: What happened?

Emmy: What happened, Isabella?

Isabella: The tracks aremissing.

Wheezie: Gone? How? Where?Why? Aah!

Isabella: No idea.

But the train, obviously,can't go forward without them.

Max: I can't believe it.

I've wanted to ridethis train forever.

Cassie: Maybe if we search,we can find

the missing tracks.

Emmy: Definitely.

Max: OK, let's start looking.

Ord: But where?Zak: Right there. Look.

Footprints.

Cassie: And they're leading awayfrom the missing tracks.

Enrique: I bet whoever leftthose footprints knows

where the tracks are.

Let's follow them.

[All speaking excitedly]Cassie: Yeah! Very good idea!

Isabella: Well, I need to stayhere with my train,

but good luck, kids.

Ord: Wow. I can't believethe footprints

led us all the wayto Ragnarok Canyon.

Max: Well, we got to keepfollowing them

if we wantto find the train tracks.

Zak: I'm notso sure we can do that.

Wheezie: Hey! We ran out offootprints.

Max: Now we'll neverfind the tracks,

and that means we'll neverget back on the train.

Ord: At least we got toride a little bit, right, Max?

Enrique: I think I knowhow you feel, Max.

Max: You do?

Enrique: One time, I was reallyexcited

because my papá and abuelita

were taking me to a carnivalwith lots of rides,

but when we got there,my favorite ride

was closed for repairs.

Max: You must have beenreally sad, huh?

Enrique: Sí, muy triste, butthen we all did something else

that I really like instead.

We played luz roja, luz verde.

Ord: What's that?Enrique: Red light, green light.

Cassie: That's one of myfavorite games.

Wheezie: Ooh! I can't believeyou let Max get ahead of us.

Zak: Slow and steadywins the race.

Max: We're at a red light,

and I'm stuck, justlike the Dragon Land Express.

[Cassie gasps]

Cassie:Hey, everyone, look over there.

Zak: More footprints!

Max: Come on, everybody.Let's follow them.

Ord: Footprintsand more footprints.

Max: I bet the tracks are here,in Mushroom Meadow.

Cassie: Oh, no.The footprints stop again.

Emmy: Right at the edge ofMarshmallow Marsh.

Zak: And you can't find anything

in icky, sticky marshmallow goo,especially footprints.

Ord: What do we do now?

Cassie: Hey, we can dosomething else fun.

Whee! Whee! Ha ha. Whee!Ha ha. Whee!

Ord: Come on, Max.

[Laughter]

[Max sighs]

Ord: You're feeling sadagain, aren't you?

Cassie: Maybe you could talkabout how you're feeling, Max.

That helps me when I feel sad.

Max: Well, I'm sad,and I'm mad, too,

because I'm missing the bestride of my whole life

and I love trains so much.

I mean, trains are justthe coolest thing.

They look so neat,and they go so fast,

and they make some of myfavorite sounds

in the whole world.

Enrique: Like what, Max?

Max: Well, they go,

Chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga,chugga-chugga.

Ord: Hee hee! You doa good chugga-chugga, Max.

Zak: And we know Max lovesthe sound of the train whistle.

Show him what you got, Wheezie.

Max: But the whistlemakes me wish

we were ridingthe Dragon Land Express.

Max: You mean a flying train?

Emmy: you tookthose train tracks!

Max: And the Dragon Land Expresscan't run without them.

Giant of Nod: Well, I'm sorry.

I was going to give them back

as soon as I was finishedwith them.

Cassie: What do you needthe tracks for anyway?

Giant of Nod: One of my littleNodlings got stuck up there.

No matter how many times Itell him not to climb things,

he can't get down from.

[Sighs]

Ord: Don't worry, Mr. Giant.

I'll get the Nodlingdown for you.

Giant of Nod: Oh, well,thank you.

Now, no more shenanigans,you hear?

Max: May we please havethe train tracks back now?

Giant of Nod: Oh, of course.I'll tell you what,

I'll even hammer themback into place for you.

[Hammering]

OK, kids, we're ready to roll.

[Whistle blows]

Emmy: See, Max?

We get to ride the Dragon LandExpress after all.

Max: Isn't it the best?[Train whistle blowing]

But you know what?

Our pretend train was almostas fun as the real thing.

Emmy: Definitely.
