Post by bunniefuu »

- [Phil] Previously on "The Amazing Race".

Seven teams took a ride on the Trans-Siberian Railway

from Krasnaya to Novosibirsk, Russia.

On the train, Luke drew a suspicious eye from Mike

after using the U-turn.

He's gonna create a whole new archetype,

the sinister deaf kid.

- [Phil] But once in Novosibirsk,

it was Victor who raised eyebrows by ditching his friends.

- Let's just go.

- No, Victor, what are you doing?

[car horn honks]

Wait, wait, wait, wait. - Sorry.

- Can't trust Victor, I don't think, anymore.

- [Phil] At the roadblock, Luke ran away with the lead

in frigid temperatures.

- Go, Luke, Luke!

You're doing great, go, win your first.

- [Phil] And won another leg with his mother Margie.

You are team number one.

[Margie and Luke cheer]

- Come on, Christie.

- [Phil] Flight attendants Christie and Jodie came in last.

You're the last team to arrive.

But were spared elimination.

Sometime during the next leg of the race,

you're gonna have to complete a speed bump.

You guys are gonna have to race even harder.

- Okay, tomorrow's a new day. - We can do that.

- [Phil] Coming up tonight, the race heads to India

and continues to take its toll on Mel.

[Mel groans]

- Not one for the -year-old.

- Sorry, Mike. - Oh, God.

He doesn't know where it is.

- [Phil] And teams have trouble with taxis.

- We're far behind now.

- Where's our taxi? - Where did he go?

Sightseeing? Where did he go?

[upbeat theme music]

- This is Novosibirsk, Russia.

It is the largest city in Siberia.

And in this regional cultural center,

the Novosibirsk Ballet and Opera Theater

known as the Siberian Coliseum.

This is the largest theater in Russia

and was the fifth pit stop in a race around the world.

Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg

for a mandatory rest period.

The seven teams waiting here have no idea

what's in store for them.

Margie and Luke who were the first to arrive at : p.m.

will depart at : a.m.

- Fly to the city in India.

- [Phil] Teams must now leave the freezing Siberian climate

and fly nearly , miles

to the heat of Jaipur, India.

This capital of Rajasthan

was dressed in pink for royal visitors in ,

and today is known as the Pink City.

Once there, they'll race by taxi

to the remote outskirts of Dhula Village

to find the sacred Peepli Ka Pedh tree,

where their next clue awaits.

- Okay, let's go.

Taxi.

[dramatic music]

Airport? Airport?

India! [Margie chuckles]

It wasn't on the top of our list of places to go,

Something very, very different there.

- Fly to the Pink City in India.

- Oh, yay.

That's definitely warm. - Let's see

if we can get a cab.

I've always played the right role of the eldest son,

especially in an Asian family, you know,

did the schooling that I was supposed to do.

I'm the lawyer that I'm supposed to be.

The race is liberating

because this is an opportunity for me to be out there,

to be extroverted, to do the unexpected.

On your way to the Pink City,

you must connect through Moscow

and then you go from Moscow to India.

- Whew. - Do you have the ?

- . - All right, let's go.

- Whew! - Be careful it's slippery.

- It's freaking freezing.

This race highlights the differences

between Jaime and myself.

I'm pretty easygoing and Jaime is such a strong person

in her conviction in her aggressivity,

if that's even a word.

We're looking forward to ditching

these marshmallow man jackets.

- Thank you.

We have to get our tickets to Jaipur

- Ow!

- We have to go all the way to Jaipur.

- India, here we come. - We're off.

- The important thing for me is to survive the race

when I'm running outta steam.

Mike, he could be yelling at me easily, come on old man,

but he always understands that I'm trying my best.

Russia's beginning look a lot better

when I start thinking about India

and the billions of people.

- Fly to Pink City in India.

- Okay, let's get a cab.

Mark, let's get a cab. Where you going?

There's cabs right here. - Oh, sweet.

We have three teams of girls that are all almost

six feet tall, and here we are

we stand on each other's shoulders

and we're not six feet tall.

So, they're definitely stiff competition,

although when it comes to the finish line,

these short little legs, I think, will do their job.

- Never been to India. - Never, never.

Maybe we'll get a dot on our forehead while we're there.

- Seven o'clock. - : a.m.?

From here to Moscow. What time is your flight?

- Think it's on at . - They have a seven.

- We got on the seven o'clock flight.

It doesn't really make a difference because we're all gonna

catch up for the Jaipur flight.

We're all gonna get on the same flight in the end anyway.

- Fly to the Pink City. - All righty.

- We gotta go to find the airport.

I think from the beginning to now,

we've definitely gotten along better.

It bothers me at times when we don't get along

'cause I feel like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

and I want us to enjoy it.

- [Mike] They're in line for tickets here.

- [Mel] Would you fly on an airlines named Kacca?

[people chuckle]

- We're here and off to India.

- Thank you.

- Fly to the Pink City.

We're starting in last and we don't feel good about it.

- We're a little worried about the speed bump

because it is an extra task that one else has to perform.

- I'm a single parent. I miss my daughter tremendously.

I wear my daughter's name on my bracelet.

She's really lucky, and we could use

a little luck right now.

- All right, come on. - Bring it on, baby.

- [Phil] All teams are now flying to Moscow.

From Moscow teams will fly to New Delhi,

where they've all booked travel

on the : a.m. flight to Jaipur, India.

[upbeat Indian music]

- Let's go.

- See if we can get a cab.

- Go, go, right.

- It's always the taxis.

- Watch out, Victor, watch out, Victor.

- Dhula Village.

- Want to find the tree, Peepli Ka Pedh.

- We're in our taxi cab with- - With Babu.

- Who is going to take us to victory today.

- Yay!

- Dhula Village as fast as possible, hopefully.

- They really like their horns.

- Yeah, they do.

- If I lived here, I would get the rockinest horn

you've ever heard. [horn beeps]

- Taxi. - Dhula Village.

Do you know, huh?

He doesn't know crap. - Oh, man.

- [Mark] Come on Mike. Taxi!

- Right here. Oh, this is our car.

No, this is our car guys.

Mike, Mike.

- That's it, you gotta just be on the toes, on your toes.

- You have gas?

Enough gas to get there? - Yes.

- Go, go, go.

- He doesn't know where it is.

- Do you know where it is?

We can't wait. - Can you let us

get our stuff? - We can't wait.

We have to go.

- I'm sorry, it's not gonna work out.

- Just a minute, I'm asking. - Open this trunk.

- I can't get it out.

Ah, finally.

- We can't get the stuff outta the trunk.

Where did he go?

No, no, no this isn't cool.

- Go fast please.

- Just fast.

- Oh, man, oh, man.

Everybody's gone. We can't get the stuff out of the trunk.

He's coming back now.

- Do you know where you're going?

- Yeah, I know where it is.

- Go, go, go, go, go, please, please.

We have to catch all those other teams.

We're far behind now.

Far, far behind.

- You don't worry, I do my best driving very fast.

- Thank you, appreciate it.

- This race certainly isn't important enough to

dehumanize somebody else by yelling and screaming at him.

So, I'm gonna feel bad about it for the rest of the day.

- Do you know where Dhula is? - Yeah, yeah.

- What are we doing here then? - Just to fuel for the car.

- Now? Unbelievable.

- It's very frustrating, you're just at their mercy.

- Does he not have a hurry button?

[dramatic music]

- Whoa, whoa. Yee haw, whew.

This is insane, man.

Cows in the street and cars.

- I would not wanna be a taxi driver in this town.

- Man, this is insane.

- Look at the monkey, Cara. You see him?

He's sitting right there on top of the roof.

You see him? - Oh, yeah.

- Just dropping off the roof. - Oh yeah. Yeah I see it.

[horns honk]

I don't think I like driving in these streets so much.

The driving here is making me extremely nervous.

- Never have been to India before.

It's quite different from what we're used to.

Look at the cow.

- Slumsville here. - Wow. Wow.

They got fires in the street.

Kids running around naked.

We're definitely not in one your better parts of town.

This is incredible, man.

- See a lot of rundown buildings

and a lot of stray animals.

Seeing all the stray dogs and the cows

and the goats just wandering around with no food

makes me sort of sad.

[Luke sobs]

- I know it's very sad.

We've seen some children eating garbage back there.

It's just overwhelming to see people have to live this way.

[Luke sobs] It's okay.

It's very, very sad that this is normal.

Makes us realize how lucky we are.

[dramatic music]

- Dhula.

Wow. - We're in the middle

of nowhere.

Hello.

- Well, where is our big tree?

- Peepli Ka Pedh.

- Oh, I see it. - Peepli Ka Pedh.

This is Peepli Ka Pedh. It says, "Look for the clue."

- [Tammy] There are telephones here.

- What does it say? - For your next clue

dial one of these numbers.

- Travel to Amber Fort, Gaura Parvati Parking.

- Oh, I don't understand.

We can ask the cab driver to listen.

- [Tammy] Baboo, we need you to tell us what he's saying.

- [Man] Travel to Amber Fort, Gaura Parvati Parking.

- Got it? - Yes, I do.

- Okay. - Okay, yay.

- So what did they say? - Big fort.

- [Victor] A big fort.

- Victor heard the word valet parking, which was not.

- I literally heard valet parking.

- Which was not our clue.

- Whoa, brother. - Where are we going?

- Back in the boonies.

- Kind of caravaning, there's like five teams in a row

and it's just a one-lane road.

We must be getting into the village.

Hi.

- Here's the camp.

- Look at this caravan of fools.

- He's a good driver, really fast.

- [Driver] People coming from airport.

- Oh, yeah. - Oh, yes, yay,

- One, two, three, four, five.

- They're all there. - Yeah.

Yay.

- All right, guys, we're at w*r.

- You ready to dash?

- Anyone see this damn tree? Is it right here?

- Mark, come on. - Okay, you stay.

- We'll be right back. - Go, go, go, go.

- Be careful on the sand, Dad.

Peepli that K.

This is the tree.

Where's the clues?

- Do you have a clue? [goat bleats]

- Look for clues inside there.

- Two obviously mystic men who were sitting there.

Why were these ancient,

sitting under this sacred tree, have these two red phones.

- Ah, where the hell is it?

- Everything definitely needs to go right for us today.

We can't afford for any time lost,

given that we have an extra-

- Hopefully, something's gone right.

- [Victor] Oh the blondes that's everybody.

- Okay, we were team number one, Baboo.

They need to hustle if they wanna stay in this.

- Who was it? - Victor and Tammy.

It's not a good feeling. - No.

- Why do we think- - This is the tree they think.

- Is it on the phone?

- For your next clue dial one of these numbers.

We're next, we're next.

- Mike, see if there's another phone.

- There's another one.

- [Man] Travel to Amber Fort, Gaura Parvati Parking.

- Grovel Gavarti Parking.

Come on, let's go.

- I don't even know what I heard, but it's very confusing.

- Travel to Amber Fort. - I'm sorry,

I don't understand.

- Can you say it again? - Travel to Amber Fort.

- We can just go follow them. - Go, go.

- Gaura Parvati Parking.

- Hello?

- You know what Ahmed football?

- Amber Fort. Yeah, I understand, no problem.

- Okay.

- Amer Parking is what they said.

- Can we just follow you guys?

What is he doing? - Excuse me, sir!

Hurry, hurry.

Now, it's a race.

- We gotta b*at them, come on, we're racing.

- Let's go. Woo!

Faster than the others. Amer parking, good.

- Amber Parking, okay.

- Okay, thank you.

- [Driver] You will win definitely, I promise.

- Okay, good, thank you.

- We're just gonna take a chance here

and just get back in the caravan.

- [Man] Gaura Parvati Parking.

- Gaura Party Parking, thank you.

Come on, let's go.

They all blew outta here before us.

- I trust my brother would catch.

- We need to find the Peepli place.

- Peepli tree. There's another taxi.

- That's somebody, that's somebody.

Three and four, five, six.

- We're in last place again.

That's the tree.

All right, come on.

Do you see a box?

Why does he have that?

For your next clue dial one of these numbers.

- [Man] Travel to Amber Fort Gaura Parvati Parking.

- Gaura Parvati Parking. Okay let's go.

Hopefully, we can turn it around here.

- [Baboo] This is the Amber Fort that yellow building.

- It's beautiful. - Yes.

This is parking. - Okay, we'll be back.

- Up on here Tammy.

Roadblock.

- [Phil] In this roadblock, one person must work

in the shadow of this Maharaja fort

and care for one of India's most prized animals, the camel.

They'll choose a group

of the maharajas camels, then,

using a set of traditional tools they must load

and carry enough food and water

to satisfy each of the camels in their group.

Once the food reaches the designated line

and the water spills out the trough,

the camel master will hand them their next clue.

- Why don't you do it? - Yeah, I'll do it.

Choose a herd. Hello, camels.

- Come on, Victor.

- I can do this first.

- [Tammy] Are you doing the right thing, Victor?

- Oh, actually, do you think I can use this?

Traditional tools.

This makes more sense.

This is a better tool anyway.

Tammy, camel feed doesn't taste that good.

[camel brays] [Tammy chuckles]

- Nobody else is here yet, you're doing great.

- Here we go another road race

to our next clue.

We're all within seconds of each other pretty much.

Is that Margie and Luke in front of us?

Yay! - Yay!

- Mike and Mark just passed us.

It's just a race to get to this Ahmed parking.

- That was Mike and Mel back there.

Overtaking 'em.

That was Cara and Jaime.

- Let them pass, thanks.

- Oh, they passing us.

- I don't like to play Indy in foreign countries.

- We definitely got

one of the best drivers in India. [chuckles]

- Good job, Victor.

- Whew, this is so exhausting.

- I thought my dad would be so excited

when he sees that Victor has to shovel camel feed.

He thinks that Victor and I have led such a privileged life.

- Oh, it's good.

- What do you have to do now? - Water.

- Good job, Victor, you're doing great.

- I know, food's coming. - What?

- I know how you feel.

Was talking to the camels.

All right. - There may be some cabs

pulling up right now, I'm not sure.

- Is this us? - Right here, let's go.

Right here. - Wow.

[elephant trumpets]

- Can you wait? - Running for two blocks.

- Here, here, stop, stop, okay.

- Is it down there?

- They're coming this way. - What the hell?

- Just stay here. - You see anything?

- Look at that snake.

- There it is, come on, Mike.

- There it is, Dad, there it is.

- Roadblock. - Be a maharist caregiver.

- I'll do it. - Okay, let's go.

- I'll do it. - All right, I'll be-

- Do you wanna do it, are you sure?

- Yeah, yeah, - Good luck.

- [Luke] Look, mom, right there.

- I'll do it. - Okay,

- All right, you can totally do it,

you're awesome with animals, just be calm.

And watering trust.

- Here? How do you do it?

- Camel feed must be carried from a communal-

[camel spits]

- Where's the feed? Food?

I don't understand.

This?

Do you understand English?

You're annoying me.

- That's my Jaime.

- This is nuts. Kisha.

- [Tammy] Come on, Victor.

- [Jen] Go, Kisha.

Kisha, water's like this.

Yeah, good job. - Come on, Mark.

- Oh, this looks heavy.

- Go!

- I could hear him yelling, go, Mom.

So, I just had to push it.

You go, Mel.

[Michael whoops]

This is what the working man does right here.

- [Jen] Keep going Kisha.

- This is no fun, Jen.

I've never had to take care of livestock, ever.

I've never even had a pet.

- This sucks.

I can do this.

I can do this.

- This is really hard.

This water is so heavy.

- Fast, go fast.

[Mel pants]

- When I was carrying the water to them camels I thought,

yeah, I shouldn't be doing this, you're too old.

Oh, man.

- It's time for him to do a roadblock,

so now that he's struggling I wonder if it was

such a good call.

So, no signs of the blondes?

- We definitely think we're in last place.

But like to get the next thing, see if we could

make anything up on like, a physical task.

- We can't lose hope because anything could happen.

We have gone from last a couple of times.

[dramatic music]

- [Tammy] Good job, Victor.

You're doing so well.

- Is that enough?

Is that good, done?

Thank you. - Yay!

- [Victor] Okay, Tammy, come down.

- Oh, geez. - Crap.

- Oh, look at that, just knocked him down.

- Are you okay? - Ow!

- Are you okay? - Tripped on something.

- Are you okay? - Yeah, ow, let's go.

- Make your way to Jahari Bazaar.

- [Phil] Teams mus now race to the Rajasthani puppet store

where they'll find their next clue.

- Let's go. - How was I so klutzy.

[Mel pants]

- I just couldn't even watch.

I knew that we'd be there at least a half an hour

after everybody else.

[Mel pants]

- You wait?

Christie, I see it.

- I managed to land in that door.

- [Victor] Oh, good luck, you guys.

- How was it? - It was hard.

- [Tammy] You can do it though.

- We're in first, right? - We're team number one

right now, and it's feeling pretty good.

- I'll do it if you want me to.

- The blondes just arrived.

They've got some time to make up.

- Hey, welcome to the party. - Thanks,

looks like a good time.

- It's too painful to watch, look at him.

Not one for the -year-old.

- I think this will be the last one.

Oh, one more.

- [Jaime] All right, one more and you got it.

- Spill spill. - Good job, Kisha.

She's going to the feed.

[Mel groans]

- I can see my dad struggling and it's not fun.

It's not a pretty picture.

I wish I'd known what the challenge was

and I woulda done it in a second, instead of watching my dad

have to schlep.

- I kept thinking, Michael, Michael, take this one

and it was too late.

[Mel groans and pants]

- Oh, gosh.

We're screwed. - This'll never reach.

Sorry, Mike.

[dramatic music]

[Mel groans and pants] [camel brays]

- Oh, gosh.

- I was thinking, I can't do this to Mike.

He wants to do this so badly.

Oh, geez. This is hard.

- I sure hope I have the right method right now.

- Whew, yeah.

- Good job, Kisha, whatever works.

- So I did half the water

and I'm doing most of all of this now.

- [Luke] Don't fall.

- All right, Dad, go for it.

- Okay, where's the food?

Oh, it's over here?

What is that?

What is that?

It said in the clue, "Use a native tool

for carrying the hay."

The metal bucket was for the water

but most used the bucket for both things and that was wrong.

The basket's so much quicker.

Good, good.

- Oh, my goodness. - Oh, my gosh,

it's an elephant.

- Wow! - Wow!

So, this is Johari?

- Can you see the shop number? , I think this one.

- Let's get out. Get out.

Right there, right there.

Detour. - Detour.

- In this detour, teams have to choose between two tasks

that plunge them into the chaotic streets of Jaipur.

The choice, movers or shakers.

In movers, teams travel to Sanganeri Gate

where they'll choose a cycle rickshaw

loaded high with barrels.

Then they must transport their barrels

by pedaling one and a half miles

through the congested streets of Jaipur

to Jorawar Singh Gate, and search through their containers

for a small metal elephant,

which they may exchange for their next clue.

In shakers, teams travel to this busy intersection,

put on traditional costumes and makeup

and join this Rajasthani dance troupe.

Then, they'll go into the streets

and shake their hips for tips.

Once they've earned rupees,

they must return to the band leader

and exchange the cash for their next clue.

- Okay- - Okay,

we're choosing the shakers.

[upbeat Indian music]

- [Victor] You have to wear a horse outfit.

- How do you wear this?

- Putting on makeup.

I'm hoping Tammy and I are breaking

the stereotypes of lawyers

all across the world.

We pick a band. - We pick you.

- [Victor] We have to dance.

[Victor and Tammy sing and cheer]

Before doing this race, I could never imagine myself

putting on makeup in the middle of a city street

and dancing and begging for money.

I did not feel discomfort at all,

which I think was just fun for me.

- Yeah.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

We need , thank you.

[Mel groans] - Go, Dad.

Feed those camels, dude.

[dramatic music]

- Think smart, Mark, think smart.

- [Christie] Jodi, you're doing awesome.

Making up a lotta time.

- [Jodie] Okay?

- Okay, she's on the hay.

[dramatic music]

- Oh, you can use that.

Shut the hell up.

This whole damn time, I was looking over there too.

- Oh, basket, basket.

- Oh, there they are.

- All that work for nothing.

This probably would've been a lot faster

if we'd done this right the first time.

[traffic honks]

- Please, please. - Thank you.

- Oh, thank you. - Thank you.

- Rupees, I need- - You have to dance.

[dramatic music] [Mel groans]

- Keeping my fingers crossed.

- [Jen] Good job, Kisha.

- All right, one more.

This is about to be it.

[dramatic music]

- Okay, clue, please. Thank you.

Yes. - No way.

All right, nice job.

Johari Bazaar. All right, let's go.

Dad, you did awesome.

You finished before all those people.

[dramatic music]

I was standing there going, "Oh, no, we're doomed."

My dad just smoked the roadblock.

- I got hay fever.

- Like a little pack mule out there carrying that hay.

She's doing great. She's made up some time.

- Yes, that one.

This one, done?

Yes, thank you.

- I come down, I come down. - Hurry.

- Animal herder? Thank you.

Come on. Come on.

- All right, clue please?

Thank you. - Thank you.

- I got the clue, Jen.

- Ready? - Yeah.

Johari Bazaar and search for Ramniwas Ramgopal.

- Let's go, let's go.

- Shop number , where you'll find your next clue.

- All right, come on. - Good job.

[dramatic music]

- Johari Bazaar, okay, okay. - Yeah, very fast.

- Let's go.

- Yes, okay.

- Move. - Cara and Jaime

are behind us. And so are Margie and Luke.

- That was so hard.

Thanks.

- I have hay all down my chest and my boobies.

I used my boobies to transport the hay.

- [Mike] All right, Mark.

This is it.

- We know we can make up time on tasks.

We can usually come from behind.

- Yes?

Thank you, sir.

Let's do it, Mike. - I'm coming.

Good job. Caution, speed bump ahead.

- Let's go.

- [Christie] Way to go Jodi.

- I hope this is the last one. Good?

That's good. Thank you.

- You did awesome.

- Speed bump ahead. - Okay.

Jodi did awesome, so I'm excited.

We gotta do speed bump and then get on our way.

Can't lose hope because anything could happen.

That's all it takes is for one other team to get bad luck

and we're still in it.

- Rupees, I need to make a hundred.

Oh, thank you.

- [Victor] Oh, I think we have enough.

- [Tammy] Really? Let's go.

Now what do we do?

- [Victor] We go to that guy and show him the money.

- Yay!

- We done? [Victor and Tammy cheer]

Thank you.

- Okay. - Make your way

to the next pit stop.

- [Phil] Teams must now race by taxi to this place,

Jaigarh Fort.

This th century fortress is the pit stop

for this leg of the race.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- We have go to Jaigarh Fort.

- Most people were just looking at us-

- And laughing. It was just fun.

It was all out fun.

- . - Yeah, here we go.

Let's do the shakers.

My dad had done enough heavy lifting for the day.

So the dancing seemed like that was

a more feasible enterprise.

[traditional Indian music]

- Arms up, arms up.

- Oh, it's Luke and Marge and the other ones

are right in front of 'em.

- Yeah, we caught up again, race is still on.

- Ah, thank you. - Ah, thank you, thank you.

- The honking is driving me up the wall.

- I see Mel.

- You see Mel already doing his task?

How do they always do things so fast?

- Thank you, thank you.

So colorful, you just see people,

I mean, there's such poverty,

but then there's also such festivity

and the people were so generous.

Ah, thank you, thank you.

- [Mel] We got a rupee.

- Right here? - Yeah, right there.

- Right there.

- Oh, there it is, we'll go. Let's go.

- Mark. Mark. - Kisha, where you going?

- Rip it, rip it.

We're gonna do the rickshaw.

- I really think that we can power through

any physical endeavors.

- Sanganeri Gate.

- Shakers. - We're gonna do shakers.

- Shakers, shakers.

- Do you see it? - Yep.

- We're shakers. - We're shakers.

- Rupees, rupees for the Red Cross.

Michael! - That's not enough.

We need a little more.

Let's keep going, let's keep going.

- I have no problem dancing with a horse.

Going into the streets and acting the fool.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

[traditional Indian music]

- Rupees, rupees?

Deaf people don't hear music.

My ears are broken, so I have to use my eyes more.

I read people's faces, see how hey act.

Rupees! [traditional Indian music]

Do you dance?

I dance.

My mom was dancing a lot more

trying to get people to pay attention.

I was kinda staying in the background.

Letting her get all the money.

Please.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thank you, thank you.

[people cheer]

- Oh, there's the barrels right there.

- [Mike] Deliver all nine barrels

through Jorawar Singh Gate.

- I got mine. - I'm gonna go

with the one right next to you.

[whistle blares] - Come on brother.

Whew! Choo, choo.

Crazy American, woo, woo.

- , speed bump, it's right there.

- [Phil] Having been spared elimination

at the end of the last leg,

Christie and Jodi have now hit a speed bump,

an extra task that only they must complete.

In this speed bump Christie and Jodi

must make their way to the Kala Hanuman Temple.

Once there they'll perform an Indian tradition.

They'll use colored paint to decorate the waiting elephant

for an upcoming festival.

Once they have decorated the elephant

to the mahout's satisfaction,

they'll be able to continue on the race

with the hope of making up this valuable lost time.

- Oh, he's right there. - Oh, yeah.

Okay, good, perfect. - Pretty fun.

Oh, hi, cute guy.

You know, you're very sweet.

Okay, pick a color.

Come on, cute little guy.

Come on, buddy, stand still.

- Thank you, thank you.

- Oh, thank you, thank you.

- Thank you.

- [Margie] Thank you.

Not enough.

- They're trying to sell stuff.

They're not gonna give us money

if they're trying to sell stuff.

- Jorawar Singh Gate. - Mike, Mike, Mike!

Just watch what you're doing.

- I am.

- Woo, beep, beep.

[majestic music]

- Ah, it's coming up.

Okay, we have all our stuff.

Jaiban!

[majestic music]

[traditional Indian horn music]

- Oh, wow.

- Welcome to Jaipur, India.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Tammy and Victor you are team number one.

- Yay! - Yay! Yeah!

- Now I have some good news for you.

As the winners of this leg of the race

you have each won an ocean kayak.

- Oh my God.

It's so useful in San Francisco

and in LA. - In LA, it's perfect.

- There you go.

- Tammy and I have recovered really well

since our travesty in Romania.

I think we understand each other a little bit better.

It's a little hard to unprogram who we are

and how we're used to relating to each other,

but I think we're doing a good job of it.

[dramatic music]

- Bless you.

- Nice, so nice.

Make your way to the pit stop.

- Marge had the lipstick all over her teeth.

She looked hilarious.

- Rupee?

The people here how I think were crazy.

Oh, me, only me.

Oh, 'cause I was dancing with pink teeth.

Woo!

- I hope I don't look like this when I do my makeup.

- My daughter's gonna be so proud.

Oh, you are a very pretty animal.

I miss my daughter tremendously.

I want her to know that anything that she can do in life,

she can do it.

You just find a way to make it happen and to never quit.

No matter what you don't quit.

Good elephant.

[Jamie and Cara cheer]

- Okay, go.

- Thank you, one rupee.

- Today, today.

- How many do we have? - Not enough.

- Thank you, thank you.

Make your way to the pit stop.

- Find our taxi.

Oh, this is frustrating.

- Where's our taxi?

Where did he go? Sightseeing, having a cup of coffee?

Where did he go?

- Come on now, hang tough, little guy.

Anything else? Yeah, that's good?

- Yay! - Yay!

- Thank you.

Okay, let's go back. - Gotta go back.

Thank you.

- Oh, my God, I cannot believe he left.

Why would he do that?

- Where's our taxi?

He left with our bags.

We've looked for him for minutes, he's not here.

- Make your way to the next pit stop.

- We can't stay here all day. We can't.

If he stole our bags. - Did you guys go yet?

- No, our taxi is nowhere to be found.

He took our bags and is nowhere to be found.

Okay, we gotta.

Taxi, taxi.

There you are. Where are our bags?

Come on, come on. - Hurry.

- Where have you been? It's not funny.

I mean, were you parked a mile away?

- Bye. Yee haw!

- Very fast, come on.

- Thank you.

We're done. - All right, let's go.

[dramatic music] [horns honk]

- A gate. - Right here?

It's okay?

Now we gotta unload 'em.

- We're gonna do shakers, we don't search well.

- Thank you.

- Warning, the last team to check in may be eliminated.

Come on.

- There's Christie and Jodi.

Come on, Christie. - All right, let's go.

- Jaigarh Fort.

We saw Christie and Jodi as we were leaving,

so I don't know how many teams have left

and how many teams are yet to [indistinct].

See, they're doing that one.

- Hey, hey, hey.

- Look for an elephant.

- Rupees, please.

Thank you.

- Where's that damn little elephant.

Find that elephant Mark.

- Rupees. Oh, thank you so much.

Thank you. - Thank you.

- Don't see elephants, any elephants around, Mike.

- What's that? - I don't see any elephants.

- We're already at , we're halfway there, keep going.

- Thank you, thank you.

- [Mark] Son of a bitch.

- No elephant.

Mark, we're missing something, come on, man.

- I don't see elephants, any elephants around, Mike.

- We have to find an elephant.

- Rupees, rupees.

Thank you so much.

, , , , seven more.

- Please, please, please.

- Come on, Dad, keep going.

Good job, Dad. - What's up, guys?

[traditional Indian horn music]

- Mel and Mike, you are team number two.

- Yeah!

- How's your dad holding up?

- He rocked it today, smoked the competition in their s.

- Today when he said, you really smoked 'em, Dad,

that was better than a million dollars.

And I love this kid anyway, but when I make him proud

that's the prize for me in this race.

[dramatic music]

- [Mike] Find that elephant, Mark.

- It's gotta be here.

- What are we missing?

First it's shavings, now it's straw.

Oh man, we smell good.

Am I ever gonna need a bath.

- Do you have rupees?

Oh, thank you so much. - We're done, we're done,

we're done, we're done. - Thank you, thank you.

- , a hundred, and some extra, thank you.

- Warning, last team to check in may be eliminated.

Let's get our cab.

Jaigarh Fort. - Yeah, yeah.

- Fast as possible because this is it.

- This is it.

- Elephant? Elephant? - It's gotta be here.

What are we missing?

- Mark. Elephant. - Nice.

Good job, bro.

- Yeah! - Yeah!.

- Make your way to the next pit stop.

Warning, the last team may be eliminated.

- We got our taxi. - Let's go.

- Pit stop. - Nice.

- Good job.

[dramatic music]

- On our way to Fort Jaigarh,

we saw a couple teams back coming up the road.

So it's gonna be tight.

- Don't let them pass you behind us.

- Aha, I see the Jaigarh Fort.

- We can leave our bags and just make a run for it.

- We at Jaiban, Jaiban?

- Let's go.

- Jen! - Right here.

[traditional Indian horn music]

- Kisha and Jen, you are team number three.

Margie and Luke, you are team number four.

Come on in. - All right.

- And that would make you team number five.

- Woo! - Woo!

- Our cab driver knows where it is.

So we'll just hope for the best. That's all we can do.

- We got our last clue to send us to pit stop.

We have no idea what place we're in.

- This could be- - This could be

our make it or break it. - Still in or not.

- [Mike] We worked our butts off to stay in the game.

- Holding out hope that we're not the last ones again.

- [Mike] It's not over yet.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

[dramatic music continues]

[dramatic music continues]

- Mark and Michael, you are team number six.

You guys cut that pretty close.

Christie and Jodi, they're right behind you.

[traditional Indian horn music]

- Welcome to Jaipur, India. - Thank you.

- Christie and Jodi, you are the last team to arrive.

- Crap.

- I'm sorry to tell you,

you have been eliminated from the race.

- All right.

- What did you come into this race to get?

- For me it came at a really good time.

I was getting ready to start a family

and I just felt like I hadn't done anything for myself.

It was kind of selfish, but you know,

every person they need something in their life

to make them happy so they can make other people happy.

So I have that now.

- And what about for you?

- I needed to, I guess, prove to myself

that I could do it and show my daughter

that she can be strong and independent

and do whatever she wants to do in her life.

I miss her a lot.

- You can give your friend a hug, you know.

- I don't think it was ever really about the money.

When I comes down to it the experience is priceless.

You couldn't pay a million dollars

and have the same experience.

It's just this weird thing that has a huge effect

on your life and changes it.

And even better friends having gone through this together.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

- [Phil] Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on "The Amazing Race," teams go wild in Thailand.

[woman chuckles] [tiger growls]

- Holy moley.

- [Mike] Shh, you guys quiet, I don't wanna get eaten.

- [Phil] And the sweltering heat takes its toll on Margie.

- Mom, mom. - I think I need some water.

- Bring some water. - Mom! Mom! Water!

- Water! - Mom, Mom, Mom!

[upbeat theme music]
